TFCC Prose Backup

Seems like a bunch of parts of the old Transformers Collectors' Club archive finally kicked the can. You get walled with a bunch of 403 errors on different areas of the site. One of the important sections that had some of the Collectors Club fiction is no longer accessible through normal means (unless you feel like pulling it up on the Wayback Machine).

I went ahead and created a ZIP containing all the prose fiction you can find here. I'm pretty sure people don't feel like drudging through Wayback just to get it lol. The files are not in order, but you can view how they were organized on the site to get an idea.

I'm not going to let some site errors prevent people from staring at bombass stuff like the Raptoricons.

Look who’s back on the wall! So far, so good too. I’ve had three successful full climbing sessions where I’ve tried climbs harder than V3s to challenge myself more and evaluate the state of my wrist. So far slopers/slopey holds, mantles, and the occasional downward pulling crimp still hurt my wrist, so I just need to be smart. This climb surprisingly didn’t hurt it because the side pulls were crimpy and didn’t tug on my wrist and the big moves up had a lip and weren’t completely slopey.

I’ve been doing more rehab and also weighted pull ups to get my strength back. My endurance will take some time to come back, but I’m just happy to climb and try harder. This injury made me realize that climbing isn’t as fun for me when there’s no challenge present. I actually enjoy trying hard 😲

So, remember Chaos Continuum, my main TF AU/Continuity? I’m basically redoing it. The plot will remain the same- some of them landing in Universe 2 with others in Universe 1 still, while Megatron decides “Wow, I’m gonna destroy these Autobots- and also this new Universe.”

Other things will be changed or removed, but there’s still certain little things that may somewhat be the same.

Afterbreaker (loose)

This GI Joe motorcycle was a Transformers Collector’s Club exclusive crossover toy with GI Joe.

It was packaged with Marissa Faireborn, and character first seen in the 3rd season of ‘The Transformers’.

This is a non-transforming vehicle mode of the Technobot Afterburner, now names Afterbreaker, which is a repaint of the GI Joe Retaliation Wheel Blaster Bike.

I bough this loose on ebay back in 2021. I have a pretty sorry GI Joe collection, and I thought this vehicle was pretty neat so I bough it loose. I was just spending money.

The bike is orange, black, with a little light tan in some areas, and an Autobot brand on the very front. It’s got some guns, and actually three wheels! (I bought the third wheel separately).

Apparently the gimmick for this bike is that the front wheel is a spring-loaded weapon, and the wheel tucked away in the middle shoots up front. It’s a fun idea, but I can never get it to work. I think mine might be broken. Oh well. I just wanted it for the vehicle,

Otherwise this thing is pretty fun, and I’m happy that I bought it.

hoo boy it’s just now rly hitting me that I may not be able to play sports/do physical activities that significantly stress my left wrist like. basically ever again. possibly. hm

#mri results came back n confirmed i have a tfcc tear in my wrist #and I haven’t gone to the specialist on what exactly i should do about it yet but #from what I can tell it can get better but never totally go away / the weakness probably will just. always be there #I guess it depends a bit on whether I got it through a particular accident or something in December that I just don’t fucking remember #or if it’s from natural wearing down of the tissue there (probably made worse by old scar tissue from the multiple times I’ve broken that #wrist/arm) #cause if it’s the second option. well. not much I can do about thag #I know its whiny of me cause it’s not like I need to do a whole lot of strenuous physical activity with that hand but. its still. a lot #more that’s effected than you’d think until you experience it #like. I can’t carry nearly as much weight as I could before. I probably can’t do a cartwheel or a handstand anymore. I can’t put much weight #on that wrist anymore period. it aches when it’s cold or sometimes just after waking up in the morning #etc #and it’s genuinely unsettling to think life might just be. like this. now. forever #I shouldn’t jump the gun before seeing the specialist I know but..yeah #kibumblabs #personal
