Fun Kobold Fact #42: 📐🤔⚙️
Kobolds are very crafty, but often struggle to invent as a group since everyone tends to call things different names!!! Where some may say "spike," some may call it a stinger, a sharp, a stabber, an ouch-point, or even a thagomizer! As with most things when it comes to kobolds, the labels aren't too important. If it works, it works!!! ⚙️🙌😤⚙️

How do you feel about the term thagomizer for tail spikes? I personally love it and think its origin is hilarious, but I'd love your opinion on the matter!
I agree 100%

I would playfully whack all of you with my tail but alas, I have a thagomizer and it would be irresponsible

Today I learned that the term "thagomizer" originated in a Far Side comic.
Like it was originally just a joke and then scientists actually started to use it as the actual scientific word. Which just adds a completely new layer of comedy to it.

I almost wish Land Before Time had been written within the last few years. Then, instead of "Spike the Spiketail" we would've had "Thag the Thagomizer."
