“Hey, Angel.”
“Yes?” Aziraphale turned his face towards Crowley, but his eyes didn’t leave the pages in front of him.
“Can I ask you something?”
“Ask away.” A page turned.
Crowley paused.
“Are you sure you won’t get uncomfortable with my question?”
“I can’t know that until you ask, can I, love?” Aziraphale patted Crowley’s shoulders and hugged him closer to his chest. “What’s bothering you?”
“Oh, it’s nothing,” Crowley got comfortable against Aziraphale’s chest, and since they were both naked (and what were clothes to beings as old as them) his eyes fell on the scars. They stayed there. “Just curiosity.”
And wasn’t that just what he was about? To move his shifty eyes, observe from afar and be curious? Wasn’t that why he fell in the first place? Curiosity killed the cat, but it also branded Crowley for eternity.
So he couldn’t really help himself, and by the way Aziraphale chuckled and smiled fondly, his angel knew it as well.
“Then ask away.” Another page turned.
“So,” Crowley started. “We’re both ethereal creatures, and we’ve been living on this planet for six thousand years.” Aziraphale nodded absentmindedly. “How many times have you discorporated?”
“I couldn’t tell. And I dare say you haven’t got a clue, either.”
“Yeah, exactly. I can’t. And it never occurred to me to count, honestly. Because what does it matter? If we can just get a new body with a snap of a finger.”
“The paperwork, for instance. Heaven and Hell’s resources should be used for other reasons, I should think.”
“Whatever. Yeah, maybe, but that’s a discussion for another time. The paperwork. Yes. That’s a bother–but in the end, we’ve pulled it off so many times that whatever we tell our higher ups doesn’t really matter.” Aziraphale conceded, and a frown grew on his face as he lost interest in the book.
He watched as Aziraphale memorised the page number, and closed the book. His eyes finally fell on Crowley.
“What’s all this, darling?”
“My point is that bodies, to us, don’t have the same meaning as to humans, do they?” Before Aziraphale could open his mouth and object, Crowley continued. “I’m not saying we’re not fond of them, of our forms and our looks, but they are discardable.”
“I suppose.”
“So why, knowing all this, knowing we can have the body we want, whenever we want. Why did you get top surgery?”
The chest scars were a soft pink and weird to the touch, as Crowley caressed them with his fingers. They weren’t like the rest of Aziraphale’s skin, they were smoother, and seemed to stick out more.
“Oh, well.” Aziraphale shifted his arm upwards, finding Crowley's hair. He stayed quiet for a bit, caressing Crowley as he thought.
And how did he think. Crowley was starting to get anxious when finally Aziraphale spoke.
“Do you remember when we first met? At the supernova?”
Crowley nodded and held back an instinctive hiss. It was a bittersweet memory.
“I had just done my grand part of God’s plan. While yours had been in the universe department creating novas, I helped on Earth.”
“You created the humans, I recall.”
And how could he not? His first time expressing dooming curiosity.
“Indeed. Architecturing humans was part of my job assignment.”
“I always thought that was what made you so soft towards them.”
“You’re not at all wrong.” Aziraphale smiled softly. “That feeling you get when you look at novas, or think about all the galaxies out there. The ones you made, with your own hands. Crafted them out of nothing creating something breathtaking and exquisite–that’s how I feel about humans.”
Crowley hummed but said nothing. He already knew all that. It was as simple as looking Aziraphale in the eye. His angel wore his heart on his sleeve.
“Back then, while crafting them, I couldn’t have fathomed how they would never stop amazing me. They are so… intricate. So plural. So different. They grew, they evolved from what I had first imagined. But still, somehow. Despite everything that has happened to them. Despite time changing them into something new– they are the same creatures I’ve created.” Crowley could see Aziraphale’s blue eyes getting glossy. “They love, they grieve, they get angry, happy, hungry, tired– they still got it all. And more.”
Crowley nodded, enchanted by Aziraphale’s passion.
“But… what does it have to do with this?” He kissed one of the scars.
Patiently, Aziraphale answered. “How could I not try to learn how they feel? Aren’t they my children, even if in a weird, kind of godly way? Aren’t I to love them all equally and unconditionally? Yet, how can I, if I don’t experience what it feels to be in their place?”
Crowley fell silent in amazement.
“The human experience is far from what it had been when I once made them. It’s shifting constantly. And I follow it dutifully.”
“Out of…love,” Crowley added.
“Out of love.”

I'm not anon but I think I understand where they're coming from. There are some people who refuse to put pronouns in their bio/pinned posts to make a statement that they shouldn't have to specify their pronouns because they are obviously male or female and that trans/gender-nonconforming identities are invalid and not real. Unfortunately this is more common with blogs that are openly religious, which might be why anon asked you that.
It sounds like your lack of listed pronouns is more so because you didn't know it is preferred to list them and not because you have any queerphobic intentions.
In your bio, which is the space under your blog title where you can add extra notes, people usually list their preferred name, pronouns, whether they're an adult or a minor, any extra key info they feel it is essential for people to know in order understand their blog (such as English is a second language, person is a system or autistic, blog includes nsfw, religion, continent of residence etc.), main fandoms (like LoZ/LU), and role in fandom (writer, artist, analysis post maker, meme maker etc.). Any and all of these things are optional, but at a minimum, I recommend listing your preferred name and pronouns.
Pinned posts are optional. People use them to add extra info (like do-not-interact lists, switch friend codes, other fandoms, etc.) and to list/link fandom contributions such as fanfics written or popular posts.
What you should not put in your bio or pinned post are your exact age, birthday, real name, real names of relatives, city where you live (even including state/province is not recommended), health info that isn't relevant, is excessive, or is TMI.
Look at your mutuals/friends bios and pinned posts for inspiration/examples and create your own bio/pinned post however you want.
Oooo thank you!
Yayyyy advice :)
You are correct, I don't know these things. I'm glad it was brought to my awareness in a nice way :D
I overreact and talk too much- I hope I didn't scare my anon off just from such a long response /j
I definitely do not want to be saying I don't think pronoun clarification is needed, or invalidating my trans friends. That's so awful??? I did not know, and never intended any such implications
Thank you for the advice it's appreciated <333
