Hello! I just wanted to say I can't stop thinking about your 'watching the show' fic, it's one of my favorites dw fics and actually made me want to dive fully into the eu and classic who, little by little, but still and what got me back into the fandom. So, thank you! I adore your portrayal of the Doctor and their different bonds with the companions, River and The Master (these two being my prefered ships) and even with the Tardis. Also the most non-humany aspects of their character and the weight of how long The Doctor has lived, loved, lost and forgotten. Just love the way that you portrayed Thoschei and the complexity of their relationship.

Gotta admit I kinda squealed when you posted that you were thinking in adding classic companions, bc thinking about their reactions to the messes and adventures The Doctor got after would be great.

Would love to see them react to The Doctor's Wife, mostly bc I adore the interactions with the Tardis.

The Doctor's inhumanity is one of the most fascinating things about their character to me. It's something I value quite a bit! The differences in morality are very interesting to dissect. Their relationships with others are also equally fascinating...They've had so many over the years, and all of them are unique. But of course there are some that last much, much longer than others (like with the Master, River, Jack, etc) that are just 🤌.

I'm happy to hear you're excited about the idea of adding classic companions! The very first draft of the fic I wrote actually had only the companion support group in it. So it had Ian, Jo, Tegan, Mel, Ace, etc but no Clara, Amy, Rory, Rose, etc. Basically, I made the choice to add new who characters to react to what happened, but ever since, I've been kind of wishing I kept a couple classic companions. I'm particularly leaning towards Tegan, Nyssa, and Ace since they're my favorites, and I can add them in without disrupting their own timeline (like it would be difficult to add a living Sarah Jane when she would have to watch them talk about her death, thus giving her inappropriate foreknowledge of the future).

And I also love the Doctor's Wife! I love all Doctor/TARDIS interactions, and that definitely has a lot of it. He also takes such a dark turn (understandably) in that episode, and then there is the Corsair! There's so much potential there lol.

2. Anything that you'd like to write but feel like you're unable to?

Oof. I mean, long fic in general is always really intimidating to me, but especially the kind of slow burn, slice of life type of longfic that I love reading. I'm not sure I'd ever have the patience to write one myself, mainly because I'm one of those writers terrified to start posting something before it's completely written because of the stress level of feeling like I need to update. But I wanna try it someday, if only to face my fear

20. Do you work on a single project or many at the same time? How does that work for you?

(just answered this one so ima just copy/paste!)

So typically I’ll have a main fic I’m working on (usually something for Settle Our Bones), an “easy fic” (short little oneshot with a much simpler plot), and then a “decoy fic” (super complicated story that I keep on the back burner for the express purpose of making my other fics seem more manageable by comparison).

BUT JUST YESTERDAY I actually finished my first draft of the decoy fic that I’ve been writing at the speed of like, two sentences per week for the last 3 years, so look out for that potentially seeing the light of day in the near future 😅

21. Can you accurately predict how long your fics are going to be? if you can, what's your secret?

So for community lots I pretty much always download from the gallery (unless it I have a really clear image of what I want). I usually like to build my sims houses and wherever they live just because I can make it more specific to the sim and their story and stuff. Honestly I don't like building as much as I like CAS and gameplay so I try to build as little as possible 😅 I always add who I got the lots from on the gallery so you'll know if a build is mine 😆

Whether I'm playing for a story and for a legacy challenge decides how I go about growing the house. When I do general gameplay and stories I tend to have sims move when they need more room or do "realistic" renovations, but when I play and actual legacy challenge (one lot for life deal) I like starting on an empty lot and slowly building the house/adjusting it to fit the family's needs.

I've tried using save files in the past but I've always been missing too many packs or didn't want a lot of cc so they end up pretty empty when I play in them 😅 I have been making more cc free townies to place down whenever I start a new save (I like having different lots each time but I pretty much put in the same sims just because I like them 😆).

Enigmatic Confections - the Baking Show AU. Honestly, I didn't expect to enjoy this one so much, it started out as recycling a prompt to participate in my first Fictober. Also, people seem to really like it, which is nice. :)

Helen hosts a baking show. Nikola hosts a cooking show. They've hated each other since they met years ago. When their network pushes them together for a new show for the summer, they must learn to get along or suffer professional consequences. (Sactuary, Helen/Nikola, enemies-to-lovers)

The Abnormal X-File - the first multi-chapter I finished, though I don't have access to the ending right now. I adore everything about it and feel it's a very good example of my writing.

Mulder and Scully go on vacation to London in pursuit of an old story from Mulder's school days. The story leads them to a mysterious woman and the Network she runs... (Sanctuary + The X Files, Scully & Mulder friendship)

Bleeding Through the Blue - my second purely Sanctuary fic! Out of the Blue was the first episode I ever saw and I love it much. I also love Magnitt.

Helen is a painter, trying to deal with her anxiety and teetering marriage. But things are changing and she is rapidly losing sight of what is real and what isn't as she tries to hang on to her sanity. (Sanctuary, Helen/John)

Come Now, Little One... - the crossover of my two favorite shows because I heard the My Little Pony song 'Open Up Your Eyes'. Also self-indulgent in the fact that it's a dark!fic and I like those.

Sam has spent her whole life in the Sanctuary, being raised to take over by her slightly psycho mother. That life isn't the one Sam wants, but her mother has a very clear idea of what she should be. Rebelling against it for years, Sam searches for an escape from the darkening world she was raised in. (Sanctuary/Stargate SG-1, Sam and Helen mother-daughter relationship)

Bird Cage - This one is a rewrite of one of my favorite books, The Aviary, but I really enjoy how I've so far inserted Stargate and Sanctuary characters into it and mashed all three worlds together.

The rebellion against the Goa'uld in ancient Egypt failed. Since then, Earth has been under their enslavement. The Goa'uld use Earth as a pleasure planet, allowing technology progression in the interest of taking it for themselves, allowing humans some measure of power by enslaving their own people. The main commodity on Earth now is human women. Sixteen-year old Sam Carter has led a sheltered life, protected by her parents and her foster brother, Jack. But safety can only last so long. Sam falls victim to a Museum, where girls are displayed as art by day and 'entertain' men by night. Desperate for escape, Sam desperately hopes for Jack to come so they can return home to their family, while battling her mixed feelings for her new museum director. (Stargate SG-1/Sanctuary, Sam/Jack (budding), Sam/John Druitt (unrequited).)

I just realized that absolutely none of these fics are actually finished, but whatever. I love them.
