Since I put together a rather massive thread about the probable S3 final fuckeries on the dead-parrot site, I figure I'll bring it over here as well :) This is bearing in mind that the show loved using history when it was useful or funny.

Blackbeard's death was in a battle and afterwards, his head was cut off and hung from the bowsprit of the ship, then later as a warning by a harbour. Urban legend said that his headless body swam around the ship, trying to find the head. Stede, meanwhile, was executed by hanging after being captured and tried in Charles Town.

My theory is a giant faking-their-deaths fuckery and this is the collection of extensive foreshadowing in sequential order.

1x01 - He's holding his own head! That's terrifying!

The Swede's flag with a skeleton holding his own head. Given Ed's flair for the dramatic and the urban legend that BB's body swam, headless, around the ship, this feels like a very him thing to do. (also ties in with Blackbeard's flag with just the skeleton in S1)

1x01 - Stede's first fuckery

Stede using mannequins as a diversion so they can escape from the British Navy and the British Navy fall for it. Also, significantly, one of the fake heads falls off.

1x03 - Stede hanged

I facepalmed so hard when I realised that we had already seen Stede get hanged and survive it. Also, the fact that the person who intended to kill him by hanging is the one who dies first? INCHRESTING.

1x04 - "People just see the flag - I don't even have to be on the boat. I'm a ghost"

And he won't be on the boat in the end :D (@wastingyourgum reminded me of this one :D)

1x04 - "He's wearing Blackbeard's clothes. He's on Blackbeard's ship".

Combining this with Stede's fake-heads-to-escape idea, Blackbeard's official 'death' is tied up with a bow :D They just need to find a suitable person to sub in *coughHornigoldcough*

1x06 - "Over here, child!"

HOOBOY this entire episode is basically emphatically pointing at Ed's skill in the art of misdirection. Ed is an expert at fooling people into seeing what he wants them to see. The Master of the Theatre of Fear.

1x06 - The crew fuckery

Stede, the Swede and Black Pete literally holding heads that aren't theirs And once again the allusion to swapping faces/places. "Are those supposed to be the same guy?" "But with very different hairstyles, ja?"

1x06 - "I'm supposed to burn your face off and take your identity"

Stede getting another layer of "how to get away with dying/disappearing" added to his arsenal of knowledge.

1x08 - The Unicorn's head

Oh look. A mythical creature's head is removed by the English, when Ed has been compared to a demon, devil, vampire and kraken. I wonder what that could be foreshadowing 🙃

1x09 - "You've kept the clippings so we can make fake heads and escape"

When in doubt, Stede turns to arts and crafts.

1x10 - "Now that's a fuckery"

Stede has already faked his own death not once, not twice, but three times in ten minutes. Now that's overkill 😂He's done it before, he'll do it again! In Stede's town, wearing Stede's clothes.

2x01 - "He can't possibly look like this"

The S1 propaganda pics are all full/half body, but now, he's reduced down to a head with very snaky looking hair. "He can't possibly look like that" (and this ties into something from 2x04 as well)

In related things, there is one historic piece of art referring to Blackbeard like this, as a disembodied head and I feel like there's a bit of a resemblance going on.

2x02 - "There's some beheadings on here"

Okay, yes, this one is a stretch, but head removal, people. We have more head removal :D

2x03 - "I'm not me, I'm you"

Yes, I know, in the context of the Gravy Basket, but there would be some poetrical vibes if Hornigold's body was the one left in Ed's place so Ed can live a long and happy life. (And yes, fully convinced he was an S3 villain)

2x03 - "I knew they killed him"

Will fully admit I yelped a bit when I saw this scene in higher res than a stream because with the drape of cloth over his head matching the colour of the surroundings, it's gives the illusion of a headless body.

2x04 - "He can't hear you. He's got no head"

Again, the symbolism of the mythical creature without a head. Especially when we see Izzy yelling at it as if its Blackbeard, his own personal figurehead.

2x04 - "Pulls his entire fucking face off. Turns out this one had stolen the face off some Brit and come to my rescue"

Of all the specialist skills for someone in Ed's old crew to have, disguising themselves with someone else's face? :D (That's romance ;))

2x04 - The Head of Medusa

Buttons' transmogrification bowl is under a painting of The head of Medusa (Caravaggio). In the story of Perseus, he used Medusa's severed head to defeat a terrible sea monster (hello, kraken :D) and a King.

And I mentioned earlier Ed's wanted poster had a connection to this episode and look at these images side by side:

Is there any episodes of stargate where Daniel gets kidnapped or taken hostage? I tried looking but couldn’t find much.

How do you think the show is gonna handle Lews Therin as he exists in Rand's head? There's so many ways they can go with this. I personally think they should flesh him out more as an actual character. I want him to be more than just screaming at Rand to kill people. I also think it's possible we even see him manifest by the end of s3

no idea! so far we've got 3 precedents in the show:

the guy in the 1x01 cold open seeing an actual whole solid person talking to him, who is not visible from other characters' POVs

logain in 1x04 seeing smokey shadowy figures talking to him, who are presumably not visible from other characters' POVs

rand hearing LTT's disembodied voice briefly in s2 (i think it was 2x02 when he's walking to work?)

the fact that the show has already done ~taint madness voices~ in 3 different ways makes me wonder if there's a progression here. so, maybe rand starts off with just the disembodied voice, then starts seeing LTT as a smokey shadowy figure, then starts seeing him as an actual whole solid person. (if so, then this could be an indication that logain is only partway through the madness progression but not in dire straits yet (ignoring the additional effect that gentling's obviously had on him). but it could also just be one of those things that gets a VFX change between s1 and later seasons, so the smokey figures could be limited to just s1.) i definitely do think rand will Eventually be seeing LTT as an actual whole solid person because that just works better for a visual medium, especially since they've already got an LTT actor on tap. might as well let him actually appear in the scenes rather than just record voiceover lines!

as for when we might see LTT physically manifest, i don't know! after dumai's wells could potentially be a good place for it, since that represents a big turning point in rand's downward spiral arc so it might make sense if LTT is limited to a voice (or smokey figure) until the kidnapping and then inside the box with rand is the first time we/rand see him as a physical person. and yeah, i would also love to see LTT be fleshed out more as a proper character in rand's interactions with him! which feels fairly likely since the show's already committed to fleshing him out via AOL flashbacks. plus, the books have a lot of "is this actually saidin madness or does rand have special ability to genuinely communicate with his past life?" ambiguity, and i feel like having LTT talk to him in a fairly sane & rational manner, as opposed to paranoid screaming all the time, would be a good way for the show to capture a similar ambiguity.

ooooh I love lone star’s use of music.

okay I’m giving two answers. for most impactful, the wake up scene in 3x04. first few chords of that song and I’m a mess. it perfectly captured how impactful that moment was and the relief the characters (and us) felt. a different favorite is the hallelujah montage in 2x02

honorable mention to simple man in 1x02 (gorgeous with the scenery), the chain in 2x14 (the pick up after the news!), and the night we met in 1x10 (iconic)

I'm a Virgo 1x06 It Requires Trust on My Part

The Hero faces a mysterious assassin, runs Cannon Comics, busts his rich parents and visits a death penalty execution; Cootie implores his friends and neighbors to help in his plan to steal power from the power company.

Walton Goggins singing and dancing in his undies only to be ambushed by an assassin who he himself hired to try kill him so he can keep his skills sharp. Also, there was multiple, very serious, games of Hand Slap. What more of a recommendation can I give.

The Resident (with mum) 2x11 Operator Error

A medical device fails on Bradley, causing his death, and making QuoVadis blame AJ for a medical error; Devon helps a woman with mysterious stomach pain; Nic's bond with Alec grows stronger, as does Conrad's with the Barnett family.

I was going to write about the unfairness of how AJ and Devon's patient were treated. But then got distracted when the episode ended with FOUR adults ordering ONE Hawaiian pizza to share. Maybe it's because, like me, they don't like pineapple. But then why not order more food you actually do like?! (Taking a mid-season break to recover from the distress this caused me.)

Derry Girls (with mum) 1x02

Everyone is really excited when Sister Michael announces the school trip to Paris; Back at the Quinn house, Uncle Colm is visiting and the whole family are losing the will to live.

Sláinte, motherfuckers! Don't clean your windows with mayonnaise. And never under any circumstances ever ask Uncle Colm follow-up questions about his stories.

Ragnarok (with friend) 3x02 Till Death Do Us Part

The Jutuls opted to play along with Magne's antics to make him more open to Saxa's plan. Laurits felt rejected by everyone so he finds support in Jens.

Magne & Saxa being late to the wedding and strutting in like they were on a catwalk looking very much the power couple.

Supernatural Academy (with friend) 1x15 Fateful Part A

The East-West Twins try to capture Mischa and Jessa to fulfill the prophecy once and for all; after Mischa's plan backfires, the pack sets out to save her; a new threat takes form in Stratford.

The big plan should be to separate the girls again, right? It's become a self-fulfilling prophecy that they refuse to let the others do the fighting for them. My sweet but dumb dragon-marked children.

Our Flag Means Death 2x02 Red Flags

Aboard Zheng's ship, Stede, Olu and Black Pete have surprising revelations while Blackbeard's crew plots their revenge.

I would definitely want to be part of Zheng's crew given the choice (and chance). Homemade broths to eat (and taste) as well as Tai-chi to keep me mindful (and limber). Also, devastating that Izzy used the gun on himself, but relieved that it failed.

Good, selfless or noble things that Chuck Bass does throughout Gossip Girl

I have a feeling that people often ignore all the good that Chuck did in the series so I decided to make a list (not including all the instances Chuck complimented and supported Blair).

in 1x04 he saves Nate from Carter and pays his card debt without expecting return;

in 1x08 he buys the necklace Blair wants, gives it to her and comforts her;

after the merging of the Basses and Van der Woodsen families he is good and supportive to Eric, including his sexual orientation; in 1x14 Eric says that Chuck as opposed to others doesn’t treat him as some freak; in 1x16 after the dinner where Georgina reveals Eric's sexual orientation the first person Eric turns to for support is Chuck because ‘he has never judged me’;

in 1x15 he helps Serena about Georgina and covers up for her despite the fact that Serena had blamed him for something Georgina did and it had resulted in Bart kicking him out of home;

in 1x17 he answers Blair's call for help despite their bad relationship at the time and he helps Serena; he and Blair schemes together against Georgina to protect Serena;

in 2x02 he sells Victrola, the club that means so much for him, to help Nate's mother and Nate with money;

in 2x09 he helps Blair to find and rescue Emma, the girl who was determined to lose her virginity to some stranger for wrong reasons;

also in 2x09 after finding out about Nate's living conditions he offers Nate to come to live to him despite their bad relationship at the time;

in 2x11 after receiving Vanessa's phone-call informing him about Nate's family problems he helps Nate to learn the truth about his father’s intentions and solve the problem despite the fact that Nate had repeatedly rejected him and his friendship;

in 2x16 he saves Lily from Jack when Jack tries to rape her;

in 2x18 he does everything in his power to help and protect Elle when he thinks she is in danger;

in 2x19 he goes with Serena to find Blair and tries to help Blair when she goes wild after losing Yale (he is not very successful in this but still);

in 2x21 he helps Nate to fix his relationship with Blair despite being in love with her himself;

in 2x22-23 he works to find out the truth about Gabriel, helps Serena to corner Gabriel and then with the rest of the gang implements Blair's plan to take down Poppy Lifton and regain the money she stole;

in 2x23 he "lets go" Blair lying to her about his feelings because he thinks he can't make her happy. He is wrong here but the point is that he puts her happiness above his own;

in 2x24 he organizes the perfect prom night for Blair despite the fact that she attends it with Nate and not him; he prevents the mean girls from sabotaging Blair and votes for her 150 times to make her prom-queen;

in 3x04 after encouraging Blair to not give up he pays a photographer to take pictures of Blair to make her feel confident;

in 3x05 he is protective of Serena and tries to get Carter away from her thinking that Carter has bad intentions; but once he realises that Carter's feelings for Serena are genuine he tells Serena about that despite his own antipathy about the man and encourages her;

in 3x09 he helps to mend Serena and Blair's relationship;

in 3x10 he rescues Jenny from drug dealers and takes her home;

in 3x11 he encourages Nate to reveal his feelings to Serena; after Serena chooses to go with Tripp and leaves Nate, he stays with Nate and comforts him;

in 3x20 it’s revealed that he applied for Blair to Colombia and got her accepted there;

in 3x21 being protective of Lily he does his share in unmasking her manipulative ex-husband William van der Woodsen;

in 4x08 he steps in and backs Blair in her effort to protect Serena; together with Blair and Nate he defends Serena against Juliet;

in 4x21 he desists from reporting on Russel Thorpe to police to avoid hurting Raina (not sure how right this is, but his motive was noble);

in 4x22 he saves Blair's life when she is captured by Russel Thorpe;

also in 4x22 thinking that Blair's happiness lays with Louis, and not with him, he "lets her go" again and encourages her to return to Louis. They both are wrong, of course, but the point again is that he puts her happiness above his own;

in 5x02 he helps Dan to find the publisher Vanessa sold his novel to;

in 5x07 he kisses Blair so that she would think the worst of him and that would help her to move on with Louis;

in 5x08 he stops Dan from ruining Blair's bridal shower and generally takes care of Dan, like hanging out with him, putting him to sleep etc.;

in 5x10 he tells Blair to stay with Louis despite him wanting Blair to return to him because he thinks it's selfish to break them apart given their baby;

in 5x13 he stops Cavalia from sabotaging Blair's wedding;

sometime prior to 5x19 he pays Blair’s dowry to free her from Louis without expecting anything in return;

in 6x01 together with Blair and Nate he goes to find and rescue Serena from whatever trouble she might be into;

in 6x02 he drops everything and goes to Blair after receiving a message that she needs his help;

in 6x03 he organizes Blair’s fashion show while she is unwell; after the fashion disaster he comes to her and comforts her;

in 6x09 he is ready to sacrifice himself and go to exile in order to protect Blair, Nate and Lily from Bart.

The darkling haunts alina in her dreams.

Later she finde out that the fold keeps expanding and destroys villages. Why?

The crows are back in town and have no home. Nina and Wylan join them.

Alina and mal flee to novi zem and immediatly get captured by nicolai. Wtf?

First army soldiers are about to kill grisha and the darkling stops them. He frees everyone including genya. Then he invites them to dinner.

Ep 2

Alina strikes a bargain with nicolai. Technicly she and mal are still captives but everyone is nice to them.

They hunt down the seawip who is just chilling in a cave? Looks ugly and it doesnt take more than a minute to kill it.

The darkling asks genya to heal him but it doesnt work. The nichevoya attack her because he is in pain and they want to protect him. She is frightned but not hurt. The darkling coughs blood.

Enter the first alkemi hell yeah. And a tidemaker that kept baghra in a cave for weeks on the darklings order. Hello mother.

Alina dreams of the darkling and he tells her what her immortal future will look like. But as always she ignores him.

"You live in a single moment i live in a thousand".

I will never wear your colours again. She still thinks he is dead and strips out of the black kefta dramaticly. Only to reveal a black dress underneath.

Alina gets the seawip scales and makes a light show. The darkling feels it through their connection. "You have become stronger my Alina."

The crows are ambushed. And kaz has dramatic flashbacks.

IMDB Description: In this both spinoff and reboot of The Beastmaster (1982) film series, skilled young warrior Dar, the Beastmaster and last known survivor of his tribe, wanders the ancient lands, seeking out his beloved Kira, defending the animals he controls, and pitting his might against various sorcerers and tyrants. His friends, sidekick Tao, warrior Arina and later trickster, spirit guide, and mentor Dartanus, who's the only one who knows what really happened to Dar's family, as well as Dar's deep conviction to fight for what's right and his unique ability to befriend and communicate with animals help Dar in his quests to defeat an evil Sorceress and a wicked wizard known as the Ancient One, as well as stop the evil god Balcifer and his minion and Dar's archnemesis, King Zad.
