300 Awkward Blind Dates Later...
Pairing: Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw x Reader
Summary: You go on a blind date on your birthday so you don't have to spend it alone, but it ends up going better than you expected.
A/N: Hey friends! This is a little birthday drabble for my buddy @roosterforme. Thank you for being such a help and inspiration, you're the best!
Warnings: fluff, maybe swearing, a whole lot of sweetness so book your dentist ASAP, allusions to smut (bc I can't help myself), spice
Word Count: 2,617
----------------------------------------------
You take a deep breath and fix your hair in your rear view mirror. You look down at your dress and check your phone one last time. You'd thought your ex would at least act like he cared that it was your birthday. He wanted you back, and yet he couldn't be bothered to text you on your birthday. So, that's why you were on a blind date on your birthday.
You put your phone away and walk into the restaurant, sitting at the bar. The bartender immediately comes over and you order a soda, presuming this date won't last long enough for you to finish any alcohol.
Once you have your soda, you let yourself relax a little bit. You let yourself get lost in the bustle of the bar at happy hour. That is until you hear a voice startle you out of your daze.
"Excuse me? Do you mind if I sit here, ma'am?"
You snap your head to your left to see the hottest man God has ever created. He has curly brown hair and a gorgeous mustache to match. He's got chocolate brown eyes that you could easily see yourself getting lost in-
"Oh! Yeah, sure." You turn to look at the clock to see that your date is 40 minutes late. You pull out your phone and see that your date had cancelled because you didn't sound like his "type," and he didn't want to waste your time. "I've been stood up, apparently, so I should probably go anyway."
The stranger frowns and takes the seat next to yours, "well, apparently it's a blind date."
"How'd you know that?"
He smirks, "if he knew what you look like, he wouldn't have stood you up. You're perfect."
You blush and as the bartender takes the stranger's order, you ask her for a refill on your soda. Before you can take your card out of your wallet to pay out, a rough hand covers yours.
"You can add it to my tab. Both of the drinks." You look up and meet his incredible eyes.
"Are you sure? You don't even know my name."
He laughs and turns your hand over to shake it, "well, I'm Bradley. Bradley Bradshaw. And you are?"
You introduce yourself, and you notice that although you're not shaking hands, neither of you have let go. There's something... right about how his hand feels on yours. It feels like you're home. You subtly roll your eyes at yourself before dropping his hand.
"Well, Bradley, why do you insist on paying for my drinks?"
He grins, putting his arm around the back of your chair, "well, miss Y/N, my mom always told me to pay for a lady's drinks on a date."
"You're awfully bold to assume this is a date," you raise your glass to your lips, smirking at him over the top.
"You were already here on a date. It's not my fault I had to step into that clown's shoes. I'm just taking a shot."
"And if I said this wasn't a date?"
"Well, I would be crushed. I think you're great. You're funny, you're hot, although we do have to have a talk about stranger danger."
You scoot your stool closer to him and start drawing circles on his leg with your finger. The second your fingertip touches him, you feel him tense up and you smile softly, "I'm hot?"
He leans in closer so his lips are almost touching your ear, "baby you're the hottest person in the whole damn bar. As soon as I saw you, you were all that mattered. Especially because I would really, really like to see you again. Tonight. In my bedroom. Preferably under me. "
You bite your lip and stand, heading for the door. You go out and stand next to your car around the corner and wait. Not even 30 minutes later, you hear the restaurant door open and close, followed by footsteps on the concrete. Bradley turns the corner speeds up, jogging toward you.
You open your mouth to speak, but before you can ask Bradley to follow you home, his arms are around you and his mouth is on yours. You moan into the kiss and back up against your car, letting your lips dance with his. His lips were coarse, but in the best way, where it feels like static electricity.
He pulls away and immediately blurts out, "do you want to come home with me?"
"Let's go. I'll come get my car tomorrow."
"No, we'll come get your car tomorrow. I don't plan on letting you go."

Let Her In
Anime: My Hero Academia
Character: Bakugou Katsuki
Summary: He seems too busy to spend time with, but he assures you he still loves her. One night is all it takes for Y/N to finally realise that maybe she didn't have a space in Bakugou's life.
Song: Naked — James Arthur
Part One | Part Two | Part Three
Tumblr media
"I have to stay late at work tomorrow."
Y/N blinked once at the dishes she was putting away before relaxing her shoulders. "You do?" She mumbled, grabbing the next plate from Bakugou's hands to dry it, "Until when?"
"Probably late, 11 at most." He replied, turning off the tap and shaking his wet hands in the sink.
"You've been having late night shifts for the past week, Katsuki." She pointed out, closing the cabinet and staring at her hands. They were so cold. Nothing could warm them up but one thing.
Bakugou turned to her and replied, wiping his hands to dry them, "I know, but those fucking villains won't let up." He rubbed the back of his neck to release the tension in his muscles, "Trust me, when I have time, I'll be here as much as I can."
Y/N lived in her own apartment, thanks to Jirou and Mina who lived together in the apartment across from her. Bakugou lived only 30 minutes away, which made it easy for him to come over for dinner or to sleep over.
It used to be very, very frequent.
At the moment, Bakugou had been held up at his agency. Y/N knew that her boyfriend was one of the top Pro Heroes who scared off the villains, but she missed him. The first few months were amazing, filled with nothing but happiness and laughs. But it was quiet now.
"Right." Y/N said, moving to clean up the rest of the kitchen, avoiding his gaze, "You can head off, I'll clean up the rest of this."
Bakugou glanced at her, watching as she moved around. She was occupying herself so she doesn't have to keep talking about he's going to miss out date night tomorrow. Bakugou knew it was date night. He tried his hardest to decrease the amount of work he had to do for today, he knew that Y/N was getting lonely. But crime never rests.
"I'll sleep over tonight." He said, pushing in the chairs into the table. He saw how she peeked a look up to him. "I'll wake up earlier to leave for work."
Y/N only nodded, finishing up the chore before Bakugou went into her room. He had spares of clothes in her room that he'd change into for times like these. More often than not, he'd come over to hers instead of Y/N going to Bakugou's. She didn't mind since she had everything she ever wanted. Her home, her boyfriend, everything.
She was as close as she could be to Bakugou. As she could be.
They had kissed, hugged, held hands and even made out multiple times. It's been four months. But there was a road block.
Y/N slipped into the bed after seeing Bakugou already beginning to doze off. He came home late because of hero work, and would work late tomorrow because of hero work. He was most definitely tired and Y/N didn't want him to be more of that. So she faced the other way after kissing the top of Bakugou's forehead, wishing him a good sleep.
She stared at the wall for a good majority of the first hour. Until Bakugou shifted and wrapped his arms around her from behind, mumbling something about being warm. Y/N relaxed a little, feeling her eyes drop a few times. She sighed out softly.
"I love you, Katsuki."
Bakugou didn't speak. He was asleep, of course he wouldn't reply. But Y/N felt her heart ache at how easily she could say it and mean it, and how he hadn't yet. Six months, that was long enough, right? He tells her how lovely and beautiful she was. He loved her. Right. Right?
"You don't have to be scared, Katsuki." She told him, drawing lines of his warm skin, "You can say it back."
She was encouraging him. She wanted to hear him say it so badly. For reassurance that he loved her, at all. If he couldn't do that, then she shouldn't care.
She was giving her all to him, doing everything she could to assure Bakugou that she loved him so much. Bakugou would smile with a roll of his eyes before kissing her over and over again. But that was only half of what Y/N would give him.
Y/N sighed again, wiping her eyes before turning around and circling her arms around his waist, digging her face into his chest. It didn't take long for her to go to sleep, her thoughts finally leaving her alone.
Bakugou brushed his fingers through her hair gently, blinking slowly in the dark as she kissed the top of her head.
He can't.
A Few Days Later . . .
"Get out."
Bakugou's glare softened into just a gaze.
"Wh—... What?" He mumbled out, gruff voice smoothing out for a moment.
"Get. Out." Y/N repeats, pointing to the door of her apartment.
Bakugou stood there, stunned by the sight of his amazing girlfriend. Y/N was standing there in her astonishing dress that she had picked out when Bakugou told her to 'doll up' for a date night tonight.
She was waiting for three hours, remembering that Bakugou told her to meet at the restaurant. She got all pretty, excited that he was going out with her for the first time this month. The first hour was fine, maybe there was traffic or he needed to be patched up. The second hour was when she started blowing up his phone. The third hour was when she felt embarrassed from the waitor asking if she wanted the check, which she took and paid for herself. She made it home five hours after she left.
Bakugou was in her apartment, changed into more comfortable clothing than his hero costume. It was obvious that he had gotten into a fight with the scratches on his cheek. But when he looked over to see her walking through the door, he perked up and complimented her.
She cursed at him, taking off her shoes before wiping her face in the mirror.
That lead to this part of the story.
Bakugou was explaining how he just doesn't have enough time and Y/N was saying how he could've at least texted her first. Bakugou rolled his eyes and Y/N rose her voice. Bakugou said that the world didn't revolve around her and Y/N said that he needed to learn how to give people a chance to get closer to him.
Bakugou scoffed and said there was no point since he knew nobody would be staying that long.
Y/N went silent for a moment as it processed through her mind.
She knew how he acted in public, like he was a lone wolf. This doesn't mean that he went out to other people and said he was single. No, he would never. He just wanted to show everyone that he was independent and wouldn't let anyone in. Y/N knew first hand by the way he was keeping it from her.
But she would've never thought that he didn't want to depend on her. Or let her in.
So she didn't see a point in him still being here.
"Why?" Bakugou said, gripping his sleeves tightly, "Why do you want me to leave?"
Y/N was tearing up. They weren't falling. The tears were puling up in the corners of her eyes. She was shaking and her legs would give out at any moment.
"Because I've given you everything I can and you..." She sighed, using her palm to wipe an eye, "You've given me nothing, Katsuki. You just... You don't think about me as much as I think about you. We're not as important to each other as we thought. And I don't know if we'll ever be."
Bakugou furrowed his brows. He walked closer to her and reached out to hold onto her shoulders. "That's not true and you fucking know it—" He said, voice hard and solid as his face shook with fear, "You know how much I care about you, Y/N, nobody means as much to me as you do."
"But not enough to tell me you love me." She spoke, tilting her head at him, "Katsuki, you need to leave. I can't... I can't keep doing this with you."
Bakugou was hyperventilating. If it weren't for the circumstances of the situation, Y/N would've taken him into her arms and assure him that she loved him deeply. But Y/N was the one who needed him now.
"Give me one more chance, I promise." Bakugou said, pulling her into a gigantic hug and not letting her slip away, "I won't fuck up this time, I swear. I can't lose you Y/N, please."
Y/N bit her lip. She then clenched her jaw.
"Say you love me, Katsuki." She told him, hands against his arms, "Just do that. Please. That's all I ask."
He opened his mouth to say it. He had the words circling his mouth. It was on the tip of his tongue, he just needed to use his voice to say it out loud. Damn it, if he didn't soon them he would lose her.
"Fuck."
Y/N frowned, pulling away from Bakugou. "You need to learn to let me in, Katsuki. Without that, I don't think we can be together." She states, standing back from Bakugou's figure, "Maybe when that happens, I'll come back to you and I'll tell you that I love you again."
Bakugou held his breath as she stared blankly at him. She stood at the sink, leaning back against it once he stepped back from her.
She wasn't going to run into his arms and say that she loved him anymore.
"So what do I do with all my things?" Bakugou asks, glaring at the floor. Stupid voice. Why couldn't he just say those three words? Why did he have to lose Y/N because of that?
"I'll ask Mina and Jirou to drop it off at yours." She stated, still staring at him. She wanted to see how he'd react. Not because she was excited or looking forward to it. But because Bakugou could be unpredictable and sometimes he'd make an outburst. She was cautious. "I'll give everything back."
"Just the clothes I use." Bakugou says, taking the keys off of the table in front of him, "You can keep everything else."
Y/N thought that he must be saying this to be nice. To make sure they ended this on the best terms. Maybe he didn't want things to be rocky between them so their friends wouldn't have to choose sides. She understood and just nodded her head.
But Bakugou told her to keep it all because he didn't want things to officially end here.
He was determined to come back to her and love her again just like he did, perhaps even more. He wouldn't leave Y/N here without proving how much she meant to him. Bakugou needed her. Bakugou wanted her. Bakugou had her. Right there.
Y/N didn't fit into his life, that's how she felt. Bakugou tried to make it happen and he would still try. He had everything in the palm of his hands and he let it go, slowly.
"I'll come back to you." Bakugou said, placing her apartment key copy he had onto the table. He held her copy of his house key in his own hands. "You have my word. I'm not leaving you here. I'll be back for you."
Y/N could see how ambitious he was. He was truly going to try and break down his walls in order to get her back. Y/N didn't know whether that was a good thing or bad thing. Bakugou had his hero work to focus on as well as keeping himself in fit shape for it. In retrospect, Bakugou wouldn't have much time to spend with her. But he wanted to try harder, even though he did so already.
She tilted her head with a gentle smile on her face. Bakugou widened his eyes at her.
"You're crying." He said. A warning, that she was revealing more of how she felt than he intended. He knew she was strong. "Y/N..."
"I'll be waiting for you."
Bakugou gazed at her expression, still smiling and closed eyes. She didn't seem as hurt as she did before, when they were screaming and arguing like crazy. For sure, Mina and Jirou heard. But it was quiet. A good kind of quiet.
Y/N sighed out, shrugging her shoulders, "I... I really hoped it wouldn't come to this. But maybe if we have some time to focus on different things, we can make it back to each other."
Bakugou nodded his head once before warily taking steps towards her. He hesitantly wrapped his arms around her shoulders, resting his head against hers. He felt her arms go around his waist and clutch onto the back of his hoodie. She leaned into him.
Y/N was warm now.
"I love you." She spoke, tears drenching his clothes as she dug her head into his shoulder, "I'll be here when you're ready, Katsuki. Just... please don't be too long."
Bakugou kissed the side of her head, closing his eyes and biting the inside of his cheek gently. "If you miss me too much, you can just watch the news. Like you always do." He chuckled, trying to cover up the fact that he was crying too now, "I'll be busting those villains' asses, just wait. And... I'll have you back."
She smiled more, pulling away and leaving him to walk towards the exit. He grabbed his keys, wallet and phone before opening the door.
"See you later, Y/N."
"You too, Katsuki."
He stepped through the door and turned around to close it. When he looked up to her for the last time, Bakugou noticed her playing with her fingers. A habit she had picked up when he couldn't hold her hand. He wouldn't be doing that for a while.
A quick glance for satisfaction before he closed the door behind him.
That sign that she hadn't given up on him completely. That little sign was enough to make him believe he still had a chance.
Bakugou was glad she hadn't taken off the engagement ring.

Soft-Shoe Shuffle - Ch 6
Tumblr media
Chapter: 6/12 Additional Notes: See Ch 1 for more information. Read on AO3 under "WizardGlick." Any formatting/italics errors are holdovers from AO3 that I was too lazy to fix. Chapter Content Warnings: Derealization, general depictions of illness Excerpt: "But he asked," Patton said. "He never asks for anything, he just kinda… talks around it until you figure it out on your own." It occurred to Janus, briefly, to defend himself, but there was no judgement in Patton's tone. There was only a heavy sorrow.
They call me Starburner, but they don't know me none They say I'm burnin' up the galaxy Starburner? Ha, what a travesty I'm just seekin' out amnesty (No one can save your soul) Oh, no (No one can save your soul) Oh, no! If I am damned, what will become of me? And furthermore, what about your souls?
Awareness. Heat. Nagging soreness in all of his joints. Janus sat up slowly, unsure of what time it was or exactly what he was doing.
He had woken up on the couch again, so… Had they been watching a movie? He didn't remember.
He ran a hand through his sweat-dampened hair. He'd have to find his hat at some point. The living room lights made halos in his vision, gentle edges on harsh corners. Was this a dream? His mind felt too hazy for it to be anything else, but he never dreamed like this. Unbearable heat raged inside him, pulsing from his chest to his limbs to his extremities; he ripped off his gloves and lifted his shaking hands to undo the clasp of his capelet. He tried for some of his shirt buttons too, but only succeeded in scratching the tender skin of his neck and throat.
Maybe… Water? At the very least he could stand in front of the freezer while he got himself sorted.
Standing made his head spin. When it died down into a gentle, floating sensation, Janus started to walk. It was only a few steps to the kitchen; he just had to weave around the dining room table, turn the corner. It shouldn't have worn Janus out the way it did, but his movements were slow and took effort. Maybe this was a dream.
Patton and Logan were already in the kitchen when Janus arrived: Logan was washing the dishes while Patton sat at the bar. That wasn't right, they shouldn't be out here this late at night. Janus blinked hard and glanced between them. The light flared in his eyes and the water from the sink roared in his ears.
"Janus! You're up!" Patton said, his voice reverberating strangely. The smile slid from his face when Janus met eyes with him. "You don't look so good." He hopped off the barstool and placed the back of his hand to Janus' forehead, then to his cheek. "Oh, honey, I think you're running a fever. Did you take any medicine yet?"
Patton had yet to withdraw his hand from Janus' cheek. Janus touched his fingertips to Patton's palm. His gloves… Had he taken them off? He must have. And now, he traced his bare fingertips across the lines of Patton's palm. "I like that," he mumbled.
"My hand?" Patton asked.
Janus nearly shook his head, but he caught himself. He didn't want to break the spell. "Honey."
"Oh," said Patton. "Oh." He turned away and his hand shifted a few millimeters across Janus' cheek. Janus wrapped his fingers around Patton's, scratching at his own irritated skin with his nails. "Logan," Patton said in a low, hurried tone. "He's burning up."
Janus nodded slowly, unsure of how exactly Patton knew. When he looked up, he caught Logan's eye. When had he finished at the sink? Time passed strangely tonight. Janus thought he should be worried about that.
"Patton, I need you to move, if you would," Logan said.
"He won't let go of my hand," Patton whispered, his face still turned away from Janus.
"Ask him," Logan said.
Patton turned his face back to Janus', and how badly Janus wanted to lean in! Just one chaste kiss, delivered reverently to Patton's lips, nothing more. Why shouldn't he? He had never cared about the effects of his actions on others before. He didn't even know if this was real.
Patton's voice cut through the haze. "Janus, honey, can you let please let go of my hand?"
Janus didn't want to let go, so he didn't. "Come to bed with me," he said to Patton. "That's all I want." The naked honesty slipped for too easily past his lips for this to be anything but a dream.
Patton laughed, high and nervous. "L-Logan? What do I do?"
"Hold still for a moment, please." Logan stepped forward and, leaning awkwardly around Patton, pressed two ice-cold fingers to Janus' neck. Janus released his grip on Patton's hand. The dream ended, even if the white vignette lingered in the corners of his vision. Shame ran hot through his veins.
"Janus." Logan's eyes stared deep into his own. "Do you know where you are?"
"Kitchen," Janus said. Logan's touch had shocked the sleep out of his system and now horror seeped in to take its place. His pride lay in shattered pieces at Patton's feet and Janus winced at the realization of what he had done.
He had let them see him weak.
He had to find a way back now. He had to think fast. But the fever fogged his mind, and he couldn't think of anything to do.
"I…"
His knees buckled and he fell and fell and fell until the gentle touch of his pillow met his cheek.
"Do you really want this, Janus?" Patton asked.
Before Janus could even try to make sense of Patton's question, Logan's voice cut in, "Patton, I advise against sharing a bed with Janus in his current condition. He could be contagious, or the added body heat could increase his current state of discomfort."
"But he asked," Patton said. "He never asks for anything, he just kinda… talks around it until you figure it out on your own."
It occurred to Janus, briefly, to defend himself, but there was no judgement in Patton's tone. There was only a heavy sorrow.
"Do you think he meant it?"
"Hm?"
"He said he liked it when I called him 'honey.' Do you think that was a lie?"
"At present, Patton, I don't have enough data to draw a conclusion on that. I may go speak to Remus to see if he has any insight to offer on the situation, although I don't wish to upset him."
"Oh," said Patton in a voice so small it made Janus' heart wrench beneath his ribs like someone had physically squeezed it.
"But," Logan said, "if…" He sighed and continued in a slightly louder voice, "If you want to know how I feel about it, it seems like an unusual thing to lie about."
"Thanks, Logan." The smile was audible in Patton's voice.
"You're welcome. Now, I'm going to go try to speak with Remus. I don't recommend you stay long; Janus needs to rest."
"Okay, Logan. See you."
It was quiet for a moment. Then Patton's hand came to rest on Janus' cheek. Janus sighed in response, but couldn't bring himself to speak. He didn't even know what he'd say.
"I guess you're probably asleep and can't hear me right now," Patton said. "And I guess I don't really have anything important to say." A pause. Patton's hand withdrew. Paper crinkled and a pen clicked; he was evidently writing a note. "Just… Get better soon, okay? And then we can have a real conversation about whether you want me to call you 'honey.'"
I do, Janus tried to say, but his treacherous tongue refused to move.
Patton sighed and turned out the light.

Dance with Me | t. holland
a/n: i recommend you to listen to the song: I WONT TELL A SOUL by Charlie Puth. play the song as soon as it tells you to. enjoy reading! 💫
song i wont tell a soul by charlie puth
word count 1.6k words
Tumblr media
You stood there with your party dress on. You were just in the corner while everyone was socializing and dancing with one another. Your best friend, Zendaya, was out talking with some of her friends. This was a celebration night for the success of the Spider man: Far From Home movie. You were so lucky to be part of that film even though you only had small parts there.
You gave a heavy sigh and walked going towards the bar. You needed to drink, but not a strong one. You didn't want to get yourself drunk in this party.
You sat on the high chair and the bartender approached you.
"What can I get for you, ma'am?" He asked.
"Just a champagne, please." You answered and the bartender nodded as an answer and went to get your drink.
As you were waiting, you watched as the people were enjoying themselves. After a few seconds, the bartender came back with your drink and gave it to you. You got the glass with your hand and took a sip.
"You should totally go to her, dude."
Tom looked at Jacob confusingly. He looked at where Jacob was pointing at and there he saw you, drinking your drink.
"What? No! She'll probably think that I'm weird." He said with his think British accent that made Jacob chuckle.
"You really won't tell her, mate? You're practically all over her." Harrison added and took a sip of his drink. "She's basically alone. Give it a shot." He said.
Tom had this little crush on you ever since you were on set. Not just little, but a huge crush on you as what Jacob and Harrison would say.
Tom could feel heat forming on  his cheeks just when he looked at you. He really find you so beautiful to the point where he can't help but just stare at you. He is friends with you but he was just scared to tell you.
But go talk to her! His gut told him.
He had no idea what came over him. He stood up and didn't say anything as he walked towards you.
You finished your drink and placed it on the table. On the corner of you eye, you saw a familiar person walking towards you. You turned to the side and felt your cheeks blush. It was Tom Holland.
He gave a small smile to you that made your heart flutter, like he always does.
"Can I sit beside you?" He asked.
You blinked your eyes before answering him. "Y-yeah, go ahead." You said. He sat beside you and faced you. It's been a while since the last time you have talked to each other. Both of you were so busy with the film that you didn't really get to talk to one another.
"Where's Harrison and Jacob?" You asked him.
"Just somewhere. I just really wanted to be with you since you were alone and to catch things up with you." He answered and looked at you. You didn't know what to say so you just gave him a smile.
You spent your time talking and laughing with Tom. There was one time that you laughed so hard that you almost fell off the high chair. With Tom's reflexes, he caught you and with his arms.
"Be careful, love." He said when he caught you. You looked up to him and saw him just looking at you. The way he called you love made your heart beat so fast.
You broke your stare with each other and sat down properly on the chair. You fixed your skirt and Tom awkwardly scratched the back of his neck.
You were about to say something until the host of the party called everyone's attention.
"The night is coming to an end and we are going to have our last dance for the night. Pick a partner  now because this is going to be a slow dance." He said. "And let's welcome, Charlie Puth!"
The singer then walked on stage and you wanted to scream. He was one of your favorite singers.
(play the song)
Tom saw how happy you were and the song started to play. He turned to you and grabbed a hand of yours. This was his chance.
"Dance with me, Y/N." He said. That made your heart beat even more fast. He was looking down at you with his chocolate brown eyes. You didn't want to lose this chance.
You gave him a smile. "Of course, Tom."
❝ oh, darling, i know you're taken. something about this just don't feel right. every time one of us tries to leave here, oh, the other one holds on tight, oh ❞
"You are not a bad dancer, Y/N." He started.
Both of you walked at the center of the dance floor. Both of your turned to face each other. He placed an arm around your waist and your hands were around his neck.
❝ baby, tonight, there's so much love in between us but you say you gotta get home stay here with me i won't tell soul ❞
Both of you started to sway in sync while looking at each other.
❝ you tell me someone's waiting for ya that you can't do this anymore. but you kiss me again so go ahead and draw the blinds and lock all the doors ❞
"I'll try not to step on your shoes, Holland." You said and that made tom chuckle.
Tom started to turn you around slowly and bring you back to him. You would smile when he would do that to you. Both of you started doing waltz on the center of the dance floor. It was like only the both of you were the only ones dancing. The spotlight was focused on the both of you.
"You really look beautiful, Y/N." He said after he turned you around. Your hair came back from the flip and you smiled at his compliment.
❝ baby, tonight, there's so much love in between us but you say that you gotta go home. stay here with me. iwon't tell a soul ❞
❝ oh, if you want me like i want you, i wont judge you, this could be our little secret (secret). our secret (secret) ❞
❝ so tell me if you're ready cause if no one knows then it ain't really cheating ❞
Both you and Tom started to dance around the dance floor since people gave way to the both of you.
"And you look dashing too, Tom." You complimented back.
❝ baby, tonight, there so much love in between us you say that you gotta get home ❞
Both of you started to dance slow when the song was ending. You just both looked deeply in each other's eyes. He held your waist and your arms were around his neck again.
❝ oh, darling, i know you're taken but something 'bout this just feels so right. cause every time one of us tries to justify the situation, we just hold on tighter. oh, oh ❞
You placed your head on his chest and slowly swayed as the song was coming to an end. He wrapped his arms around you.
He let you dip down and slowly bright you back up again with your faces near each other.
When the song ended, the people around you clapped at your performance and both of you let you of each other, realizing that there were lots of people watching you.
❝ stay here with me ❞
❝ i won't tell a soul ❞
"Well, I didn't expect us to have an audience." Tom broke the awkwardness between you two. You laughed at his comment and the both of you walked away with your arms intertwined to his.
You felt a blush across your cheeks and Tom felt the same. You looked at Tom and he looked back at you with a smile on his face.
"Thank you, Tom. I had fun with the dance. It was like prom all over again." You said with a chuckle. He smiled at you.
"It won't be the last dance, don't worry." He said.
You reached to the bar again and you faced Tom.
You blushed at his sentence before Jacob and Harrison could even interrupt the both of you.
"It's getting late, Tom. Want to go, mate?" Harrison asked Tom. Tom looked at you once again and you smiled at him. He smiled back before he could answer Harrison.
"Actually." He started. "I want to take Y/N home." He said and you felt shock inside you. Both of you never planned this out.
Jacob and Harrison looked at each other before realized it. Both of then went near Tom and whispered to him. "Good luck." They walked away leaving the two of you behind.
"I'm sorry I blurted those out." He said and scratched the back of his neck.
"Hey, Y/N! That dance was awesome, dude." Jacob said and you could only smile as the answer.
"I would love you to take me home." You answered which made him stopped scratching the back of his neck and looked at you.

With a smile on his face, both of you went out of the room. He offered his hand to your's and you gladly took it, wrapped your fingers to his.
"Z wouldn't mind, right?" Tom asked. You chuckled at him since you find it so cute when he asked that before you answered.
"Of course, she won't. "

It's a little sad we didn't get to go couch shopping today but it was an excellent day and I got a lot accomplished for moving. I slept okay. D&D last night ended not too late. And me and James went to bed. We woke up around 8:30 and he was very tired. But I had more energy and I really wanted to get some stuff accomplished since he was going to work. He made us breakfast and I got dressed. And then once we had eaten we packed up a whole bunch of stuff in the kitchen. I worked on stuff in the bathroom and we kind of made a game plan. I would go over to the new apartment after walking him to work. I would buy some clearance markers that are my favorite kind of brush pen and go work for a few hours to get the place ready for being moved into tomorrow.
So we packed and around 10:30 ish we left. Got over to darts or and every night for the clearance section. Talked a couple of James co-workers. And I bought like 15 Mercury. They're really nice and all the colors are very pretty. Actually might go back and buy a couple more because there was some thinks that I didn't get. And they're like 75% off if not more. And I want to try to start drawing more so this was a very good like serendipitous thing to happen.
I left James there and hoped he had a good day at work. And I biked over to the new place. Still having trouble with my key in the front door. I think I've kind of figured out the way you have to put it in and turn as you pull out to get it to do it. I'm going to have to ask Vistaril. Because it makes me crazy. I'm always afraid of me to break my key in the lock.
The event was pretty dirty. I'm going to admit that. The floors were really gross and the Cowboys disgusting. I turn the air conditioning really hot. I don't know why I was so overheated but I was very uncomfortable. Once I cool down I walk around the apartment and just made notes of things that I want to address. The window in the bathroom is painted shut the bedroom doesn't have a screen in the window. The hallway window is also painted shut. And I also wasn't sure if we had a medicine cabinet. And it turns out we do but it's painted shut I was able to pry off the bottom part and I can tell it opens but the top part I just couldn't get leverage on. I'm hoping if I get like a claw hammer or something I'll be able to pull it off. We'll see. I'm has terrified and excited that something cool inside of it. Or like just a dead mouse.
I have first Dustin a whole bunch. Trying to get on top list of stuff and just make sure it wasn't filthy. I dry Swiffer and all the florist. Took like four Swiffer pads because it was really dirty. The room I'm going to be using as my studio I think with someone else's Studio before because the floor was real dirty and I think it was charcoal. And once I finish that I took a break and I sprayed the bathroom down with Clorox. That ended up not working as well as I was hoping it was and later in the day I went to Rite Aid to buy a stronger bathtub cleaner. Because my God the top was dirty. The whole bathroom was dirty but the tub specifically was filthy. Very scummy. I spent a good two hours today scrubbing the tub. But it finally feels clean and I'm hoping to keep it that way.
I went through with the four wet Swiffer pads I had. But I'm going to have to buy more. I was able to get me apartments for pretty clean though. I still think I'm going to go over it after all the stuff's in and then it'll just kind of be what it is but it did take a lot.
I also put googly eyes on the microwave and the fridge. But the one googly are on the fridge won't stay on so I'm going to have to get some tape. But it looks very funny. I hope Mr will gets a kick out of it when he comes to install the microwave.
I did a lot of cleaning though. The tub took so much time and I was very exhausted. Halfway through the day I walked over to the grocery store and the Rite Aid and checked out the hardware store. I am going to have to go to the hardware store to get bolts to fix my desk and I want to get like a latch lock for the bathroom because the door doesn't stay closed and just other weird odds and ends. Had a snack and hung out in front of the air conditioner. I drew in my notebook for a little while and I was there until about 2:30 or 3. It was a good long day over there. But I'm really excited. It's such a nice space and I can't wait to have all of our stuff in it and just be decorating into making it really really beautiful. And really really us.
Oh and I left there I was pretty tired but I decided to explore the neighborhood just a little bit. I found the coffee shop and I went to the park to see what that was like. There's a flower garden over there. I think it used to be a dog run but now it has a sign that says no dogs allowed. Makes me think of no dogs in the dog park. Made me laugh. And then I came back here to the studio.
I got back here and I heated up some of the Chipotle from yesterday and made a burrito. Went through the fridge and threw out some stuff that we didn't need and had gone bad. We have like two bottles of sriracha going right now. And like a 75000 hot sauces that I've never seen James use at all. But it's fine. We'll get everything organized. The new fridge is a lot better space-wise I think bull be able to use and get rid of a little bit more effectively.
I decided to dye my hair. I used the blue and Sapphire died that I bought at Sally Beauty the other guy. I used most of the two tubes and just absolutely tried to saturate my hair as much as I could. Rinsing it out took absolutely forever but I think I got most of it. I might have to wash my hair again tomorrow but that's okay. It'll be at the new place. The one good thing about renting my hair in the tub here at the studio was that the tub was filthy and it let me see where the soap scum was easier. So it was easy to clean off.
Once the temples clean I took a bath and then I got out and I've been hanging out with sweet pea. James should be heading home from work soon. I might ask you to stop and pick up sandwiches. I don't have a lot of things that we can use to cook anything right now. But that's fine. We'll figure it out.
Tomorrow is official Moving Day. We are going to be getting a U-Haul and moving all my stuff from the garage and as much stuff from over here as James and his friends can handle. I will be at the BMI twerking. I think that's probably for the best because I'm not that strong and I feel like I might just be in the way. So what will happen was I'll come to the new place when I'm done work and I will organize and start putting things away where they're supposed to go. And hoping that around then they will be finishing up bringing stuff in. But we'll see. I just don't want to do it all exhaust themselves and I'm hoping that because James is good at managing people it'll all go smoothly and easily.
I always use a kind of bothering me right now so I'm going to go eyedrops in and I'm just going to hang out. James is supposed to be bringing back some more boxes and I'm hoping that we can get most of if not all of the stuff that we need to tonight. So that he can just grab it tomorrow. I want him to have to come back here to pick up stuff in his parents car as little as possible because parking in front of this building is impossible. So wish us luck. Good night everyone. Have fun tomorrow.
