heartbreak weather!!! incredible work of art!!! & easily my fav solo 1d album. i am forever mourning the fact niall didn’t get to tour this album, the hbw era deserved so much more :( holding onto hope that i get to hear all these songs live one day!

ok i tried like 3 separate times to rank these songs so here is what i settled on :’) if i spent time at work trying to figure out my hbw ranking for u don’t tell my boss! including bonus tracks too btw !

16. put a little love on me im so sorry for putting u at the bottom miss pallom! i usually love a piano ballad n i do think this is a nice song but it just doesn’t hit for me the way the rest of the album does </3 i do love the lyrics though you can tell how much of his heart niall put into this one!

15. nice to meet ya i promise all the singles aren’t at the bottom... ntmy bangs it does & i loved it a lot as our first look into the album! the mv is fun too i loved the lil hints it dropped for hbw. for me it simply does not go as hard as the others </3

14. san francisco love the imagery of a soaking wet niall showing up at your doorstep. also i think this song works so well as a second-to-last song, especially following the storyline of the album. n it has nice vibes!!! just not the fave

5. cross your mind ends my golden trio on hbw, tracks 9-11! this song slaps.... being all in for someone even when it hurts you.... give me all the pain! give me everything! don’t hold back! anyway i am listening to it again and it simply slaps so hard

um no 🙃 but sometimes members get placed higher up in my list when i see a funny video of them or they said something that struck a chord. my top 3 has stayed the same tho (vernon, woozi, s.coups) 👀

woozi. he usually has the most lines in songs (at least from what i heard & noticed) and i loved the way he dressed. also he’s so pocket sized i adore him

super!!! my favourite song ever

7. what got you into seventeen?

my sister kept playing their songs on the tv so i kept hearing them in the background. but when she played super, it was really catchy and i found myself getting interested.

a few months later, we went on a roadtrip and again my sister kept playing seventeen on the aux. and that's how i found out about their other songs besides super LOL. i remember the second song she tried to brainwash me into liking was darl+ing because it was an english song and she claims it's easier for me to connect with them/ the song when it's in english (she was right; it worked)

2023 mama awards. that was CRAZY. the pauses between verses went so hard, it actually had me holding my breath waiting for the beat drop. and they put so much energy into it (more than usual i feel like) and it was just amazing. not to mention the set design and matching outfits, everything about it is so thought out and wonderfully executed.

the only thing that sucked is s.coups missing the performance :( i was surprised when i saw wonwoo coming out again during the second verse of super then i realised s.coups was not there :( he looked so good during the award ceremony though 💔

30. what’s your favourite music video?

super!!! truly changed lives. also when i found out that the backdrop was not a green screen, i stopped discrediting their ability. that really opened my eyes to seventeen (and also allowed me to be more willing to listen to their other stuff).

if you’re tired of me answering super to everything, i also recently watched clap and i love the concept of the video. i thought it was so cool how they altered svt to specialised video technology and how the general concept of the video was of the guys performing in a tv screen. genius. the editing was cohesive, the colour grading matched the overall vibe and the choreography was fantastic.

31. what’s your favourite outfit worn by your bias?

okay it’s kinda basic, boring but idk i love it. maybe it’s him running in the mv that does it for me but i adore this sweater on him

dk + jeonghan 🩷 also one day, i kind of fell into a rabbit hole of who was best friends with who and it kind of surprised me because i never expected those pairings. it was really cute though & made me see the members in a different light

Oh I have heard things about Going Seventeen. Maybe once I listen to a bit more of their music, I then like to watch dance practices and stages, and THEN I'll give the reality show a go. Thank you for the recommendation though, and the song recs are definitely going on my listen to later list.

It's really interesting how our various biases feel different to us and sort of serve a different purpose, if you will. I don't want to give myself away so I'm going to be purposefully vague here, but one of my Ateez biases is so unbelievably attractive to me, mostly physically but also some major parts of his personality too, so I guess he's what you could call my type although i never really thought I had one hahaha. And another bias I feel like he's literally me, because we're so similar in many ways, but I also feel the need to protect him as well, and perhaps it's because I feel that strong connection to him.

Ah, so Wooyoung has joined the bias line officially then? What about your logbook series, you're going to have to add him to that too 🤣🤣 I agree, he really is the definition of a bias wrecker. If you were ever to change your url to a combination of your Ateez biases instead, it would be so long hahahha woohwayungi maybe?

I think I'm starting to get some ideas for what to make you. I really want it to be something you'll love so I'm putting a lot of thought into it. If you had to choose a favorite era for all four of your boys, what would you pick? Is there any particular styling you like on them? Or a favorite hair style/colour? No detail is too insignificant!

Wooyoung is officially there, he has his tag and is mentioned on the pinned post BUT he is slightly under the three og ones (at least for now…); When I had my “click” moment of realizing and accepting he was a bias as well I did stop think about what I was going to do with the logbook series hahah But for now I decided to keep it just with the tall line… Wooyoung already has a lot of content (Hwa too but 🤫). Maybe in some where he has a way too iconic scene I’ll add it as a bonus hahahah

With svt I made sure to use the first, second and third syllable of each of their names, but I with four biases that wouldn’t work hahahahah I guess to follow the same logic I can start the url with “Jeong” to represent both Yunho and Wooyoung since in hangul they do have the same surname (and I’ll go with Yunho’s romanization since he was here first hahah).. so the url would either be jeongseonggi or jeongminhwa 😂😂

I technically also have to redo my header and add baby Woo… but I lost the original file and right now I’m being lazy 😗✌️ hahahah

So for the looks and eras…. I’ll try to be concise; I’ll give two hairtyles/two eras for each hahaha (btw this reminds me of Jazzy’s little Christmas project in which I absolutely clogged the tags of the post with some of my favorite looks of only TWO biases btw and then later saw that everyone was going for one specific thing… 🙃 guess I got carried away, I just wanted to give her options!! • So for Hwa… Pink Hwa of course and whenever he has the ashy/grey blond hair… So Wave and Fever Part 1 eras 😘👌 (no matter the color, I feel like the best styling for him is the under cut) and I have to mention the MOST PERFECT THING I’VE EVER SEEN: The look with the cropped suit for the A to Z album... • For Yunho his Ethernal Sunshine/Fever Epilogue blonde hair give me major golden retriever vibes so... yeah hehehe and his styling for Immitation (which I guess is pretty basic so is also the styling for various eras but like) major boyfriend vibes. Honorable mention to Rhytm Ta Yunho <3 • So, picture this, I started biasing Mingi when he was still on hiatus based on “old” content, so for the longest time the standard image I had of him was his red hair, ginger Mingi holds a very special place in my heart; Then he came back full power with the grey hair!! Which for me had its peak performance during the Fever Epilogue era (wolf Mingi 🫶) as you can see Fever Epilogue was a VERY GOOD comeback for me, it is also my favorite album overall Honorable mention: whenever he wears glasses • And finally Woo! One word: THANXX!!! give me the bandanas and the ponytail!! YAS and OF COURSE Oreo Woo (or as I like to call it: Raccoon Woo)... Kingdom last half, AOTM... this look was superior in so many ways (I also have a post about my favorite looks of his so...)

Hello! I'm getting into 10cc and thought it'd be a good idea to ask you for some guidance 😊 if that's ok with you! I've already listened to How Dare You! and Deceptive Bends, where should I go now? Thanks in advance and btw, I find it very tender how you're in love with Eric 💗

OMG YASS!! i love that you’re getting into these wonderful and talented boys 🥰 trust me, you’re gonna LOVE their vibes especially if you’re into artpop/prog rock (like me, hehe). Anyways, GREAT choice on starting off listening to How Dare You! and Deceptive Bends (my top two favourite albums at the moment). Personally, I think those two albums are pretty solid, and great ones to start out with if you’re just getting into 10cc. I recommend listening to the rest of the albums that all four boys worked on (The Original Soundtrack, Sheet music and their debut album, 10cc). So sad that they only worked on four albums total as a foursome 😢 but man, they sure did a fine job on ‘em!! ✨ So, The Original Soundtrack album. I love it because to me, I feel that it’s their most experimental sounding album, and I think you really get to appreciate their brilliance as a group once you listen to it. Sheet music is another solid one, a little on the quirkier side mainly due to the heavy Godley/Creme content on it. I love it because you really get a feel for Kevin and Lol’s style of songwriting on that album. Two very talented guys, I must say. Their debut album is another great one, and another one mostly made of songs by Kevin and Lol so it’s definitely a great choice if you find yourself diggin’ some Godley/Creme. Once you get through the first four albums, I recommend listening to Bloody Tourists (it’s actually becoming my new favourite). I love the reggae vibes on it so if you’re into that sort of thing then definitely check it out!! Sorry for digressing, but I hope this helps ☺️ Also yeshh Eric :3 oh my, what a babe, huh? 🥰 God, I love that man. He just..has a way with words, you know what I mean? Ugh, he’s so romantic and his vocals are just so delicious 💕 💗

How This Collab Works

First of all I want to shoutout @stariwrites & @onyxoverride since I was massively inspired by a collab idea they created together!! (Thank u so much btw guys mwah mwah)

This collab is a celebration of my milestone, and I thought it fitting to incorporate about what makes me me in this collab. I’m going to have ten total slots (more may be added if enough people want to join). You can send me an ask or a DM with which number you want and which character you’d like to write for. (One character per customer btw). I’ll respond by sending you a song which is attached to the number you’ve selected.

I’ve decided to include songs from between the years 2000-2009 since this is an era of music I absolutely adore. I’ve also opted to make each of the artists female solo artists or girl bands. It’s a fun way to (maybe) discover some new music and develop your writing or art skills by stepping out of your comfort zone.

my top three are crash, lightning and yuck, but i'm not sure in what order yet. it's still early days, but the fact that i love it this much already and that there are only two skips for me on the entire album? 2022 is gonna be one hell of a year musically.

oh and btw do you like cobrah's music? i found her when the good puss music video came out and i just love her so much.

and last thing, when you said you didn't know many yeule songs i recommend starting with pretty bones, pocky boy and friendly machine (they're more accessible to first time listeners imo) and then you can find tracks you like more on glitch princess and seratonin II. even if you don't end up liking their music the videos on their own are just a treat. but if you want to avoid themes of depression, suicidal thoughts, eating disorders and substance abuse i'd maybe stay clear of their music. as wonderful as it is it's also pretty heavy so be careful. ok ok i'm done rambling lol

The festival was fine I saw Florence and the Machine again after many years. I don't really drink anymore at least not to the point of getting drunk, I'm too old for this shit owusjsjhshsbsvs I'm responsible and take care of drunk idiots. But nothing of that sort happened, so it was cool and chill
