random to you question (not to me I saw a thing and it irked me... the person also said that the list in season 4 was eugenics- they made no mention of the grounders doing similar and its a lot of the usual bull one bit made me laugh though and they said clarke panicked and killed all the innocent people in mount weather the imagery is funny and stuff and there was another bit that made laugh which was basically Raven would be a better leader and Clarke is just incompetant) would season 1/2 clarke (before lexa one the worst leaders of the show got in her head*) have tried to force the stupid glorified usb stick on Luna? because I think NOT that was one of the most culty bullshit things they had Clarke say (take the flame its your destiny) and I just hate it so much
sorry to keep bugging you with random t100 things I'm trying to pysche myself up for a rewatch to remind myself of the shit (better prepared so i can properly analyise it and make a tally everytime lexa mentions dying) but can't do it I will do it if I can also play a certain game which is the one where the main characters 6 month old daughter gets kidnapped by a cult (split into four) to be used as a cult leaders dead child (same game people kidnap locals to be used in experiments some turn into monsters and others are just lunch) and the main character in both gets taken out for killing the bad guys
"raven would be a better leader" raven, the one who didn't want to make any of the hard choices — unless it was torturing lincoln to get information on how to save finn & then wanting to make the monumentally stupid decision of getting clarke to try & kill lexa to again save finn, ignoring how it would get them all killed? that raven? the raven that blatantly said to clarke "you're the one who chooses who lives & who dies", only to finally have to make that decision seven seasons in & she crumbles & falls apart so clarke has to put her back together?
yeah that's just ridiculous. raven has never been leadership material because she would have no one else to blame when things didn't go her way & clarke couldn't be her verbal & physical punching bag.
as for the cult aspect of the grounder's religion: i don't think pre lexa clarke would've tried to force the chip into luna's head, mostly because she was still very much critical of stuff like this & had not yet been indoctrinated into it by racoon coochie. clarke was very much willing to go against the establishment as seen from her defining, opening moment in how she ended up in confinement.
with the list "being eugenics", there was a sketchy element of how clarke was choosing who would go onto this list but she is at that point an 18 year old girl having to decide out of hundreds who would be the select few to survive. i doubt that intent was there & more clarke was trying to struggle through yet another trolley problem for her.
considering this is consistently held against her while actual eugenics in the grounders rounding up all the children with a specific blood so they can all die in a ritualistic cult murder spree to decide who will become the next religious leader is deified in the fandom, i wouldn't take it too seriously.
always feel free to bug me about t100 stuff, i never get to talk about it enough ✨

song of the day
octavia blake/bloodreina
mad woman by taylor swift
Does a scorpion sting when fighting back? They strike to kill, and you know I will You know I will
What do you sing on your drive home? Do you see my face in the neighbor's lawn? Does she smile? Or does she mouth, "Fuck you forever"?
Every time you call me crazy, I get more crazy What about that? And when you say I seem angry, I get more angry
And there's nothing like a mad woman What a shame she went mad No one likes a mad woman You made her like that And you'll poke that bear 'til her claws come out And you find something to wrap your noose around And there's nothing like a mad woman
Now I breathe flames each time I talk My cannons all firing' at your yacht They say, "Move on", but you know I won't And women like hunting witches too Doing your dirtiest work for you It's obvious that wanting me dead has really brought you two together
Every time you call me crazy, I get more crazy What about that? And when you say I seem angry, I get more angry
so anyways i know this is like more than half the song but it all really fits her mostly she's bloodreina and skairipa

hey libra! (it's libra right??) i already loved your elejah abortion fic but now that i've watched s4 and have context of the whole Cure nonsense that everyone was fighting over... like it's an even better fic now you did such a good job <3
if i didn't know better and expected anything from the vd writers i'd actually have thought the cure was just a metaphor for abortion and elena & rebekah's struggles was the metaphor for abortion rights lol. either way s4 is actually so chillingly relevant to 2022 society because it was literally so many episodes of just women being constantly stripped of agency and denied a choice by male characters :/ like at least elijah's motivations were pure even tho i disliked that he got to make the decision for a grown woman and "test" her... and klaus would have been genuinely inconvenienced by silas's manipulation and abuse if rebekah had been given the cure so i guess that's like, semi okay? (but also he was always selfish and mean when it came to rebekah regardless of whether he experienced harm to his well being or not)... and the salvatores were just awful lol like that torture ep made me so uncomfortable especially how elena seemed fine after having just experienced hours of abuse from her exboyfriends
anyways sorry for word vomiting but i love your writing and keep up the good work!
I adore word vomit thank you, allow me to spew my own lmao
(my names Charlotte btw, libra's my star sign but it was the first thing in my bio for ages so it's an easy mistake to make x)
My animosity towards the cure is unmatched, not just because I hate it as a concept and everything it turned the characters into but also because, like that fuckin little AI mf from t100 it refused to exit the show with any grace.
I'm currently working on storyboarding more of what did you bury? (my love letter to no humanity Elena + American Gothic) and there’s just so much wrong with s4 it’s honestly hard to know where to begin. The torture episode is horrifying for so many reasons but it also provides one of the most interesting and heartbreaking looks into Elena’s psych because it lets us actually see her rage at the Salvatore’s and honestly might be the last sighting of in- character Elena Gilbert we ever get.
Like people can disagree if they want but as far as I’m concerned anything an emotionless vampire says is the truth (at least their truth) they have no humanity, no care and no reason to lie. This is especially true for Elena in the torture ep, and it’s awful.
Plus what it reveals for the salv bros, both of them use this torture as an outlet for the frustration Elena’s caused them since she was forced- by them- to turn off her humanity (I mean, we been knew they were abusive but this is definitely the most outright moment). Also like- Caroline, Bonnie, Matt are just... fine with this. Like yeah Caroline leaves because she doesn’t wanna hear it but no one makes any move to stop it or question if this is really the way to go. (Bonnie get’s a pass here bc she’s being mind controlled and Elena ripped her throat open but- everyone else...)
The actual scene of her turning it back in is genuinely the most upsetting in the show to me. It’s like every subtle manipulation and mistreatment from the first four seasons turned up to 11 and its disgusting. Just seeing her, this fuckin eighteen year old girl that has lost everything, lose the last remaining thread to her childhood, to her life before the salvatores arrived. And the way she just shatters while they watch- this moment that’s horrifying and awful and they won’t ever let her go and she knows this and it means nothing to them. It’s just a tactic, something she’ll get over because she has no choice but too.
I hate it. (this hate being what made me write plastic crown in the first place lmao)
But yeah the whole things gross and this didn’t really build off your point even though I completely agree.
As for the Elijah/Rebekah/Klaus aspect, I do find the test situation to be more about Elijah insuring Rebekah is actually prepared for what taking the cure would mean. Still a bit icky and codependent but it’s the Mikaelsons so I don’t expect much else. I do love the energy of
Klaus: I’m being tormented !! Elijah: Sounds like a you problem bestie, I need to pose and go daydream of making out with emotionless doppelgängers ttyl xx
like yess king, give us (the plot) nothing !

Unpopular T100 opinion. "Spacekru" was the true "villain" in S5. My god, i hated their guts when they were together and all the shit they did after the got to Earth again. By the end of the season, i was literally like "Clarke, hun, just take Maddie and maybe Bellamy, go to the woods and just let everyone else die". This is how much i despised Spacekru and that says a lot because i hate the grounders.
Ohhhh fuck spacekru. Fuck the idea of spacekru and the air spacekru breathes. I hated that so much.
No one wanted to see that dynamic. No one was like “I hope they break up the 100 and have these relationships that developed off screen be seen as closer than the ones we watched develop for four seasons!” Blaming Clarke for everything and being grateful for exactly two seconds. HATED IT.
Bellamy gets to go live in the woods with Clarke and Madi but he’s never allowed to speak of spacekru again 💀 the ONLY relationship that developed in the time jump that I felt anything other than contempt for was Clarke and Madi, and it’s because we got to see her struggle and how much she needed Madi.

           Orphan Black (TV) (1)
           Teen Wolf (TV) (1)
           iZombie (TV) (1)
           Shadow and Bone (TV) (1)
There are a handful of cross-tags going on, but... wow I’ve done more than I ever offhand remember having done, and I have FULLY blocked some of those eras from my mind.
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
Some of these I can explain, some of these I absolutely cannot.
Just Wanna Feel Something (Anything Is Better) - the one and only iZombie fic I ever wrote, I promptly stopped watching that show because I only have so much time in this life and it was not a priority, and... this fic Very Consistently does well despite having been posted in early 2015.
find me in the shallows - first Kabby prompt-comp, of course this one is high.
and i’ll use you as a warning sign - first Garcy prompt-comp, same deal.
curiosity (be the end of me) - aka what happened after, due to circumstances that if I remember right involved familial miscommunication, I saw The Force Awakens in theaters twice in approximately twenty-four hours and proceeded to ship a relative rarepair based on level of pretty and what I believed was a level of plausibility. and then I wrote shower sex for them because why. not.
chocolate means i love you - another part of the above Star Wars era / fever-dream, but this one is not smut.
5. Do you respond to comments, why or why not?
Yes, the emails make me happy and I do respond to... generally everything now, but I haven’t always been the best in the past.
6. What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?
I hate angst, I generally write more fluff / fix-it, but... that said, your hands you’re accounted for was wild t100 season 6 speculation that ended up being FRIGHTFULLY close to what actually went down, and I believe that’s the only time in recent years my writing has gone There content-wise.
7. Do you write crossovers?
Nope. I do occasionally think about it, but... the fandoms I play with, especially more recently, don’t have a lot of overlap as far as other people interested (who are NOT people I love who I’ve dragged into all my shinies), so...
8. Have you ever received hate on a fic?
Not recently / not since I was a babybug on ffnet ~13 years ago. And even that I don’t remember. What I do know is that I have mentally blocked the whole Les Mis era because for what I was writing at that time, I was the only person who did NOT get death threats. Fuck that fandom.
9. Do you write smut? If you do, what kind of smut do you write?
Yes. I usually go for sweet / not too graphic because that’s my interest and comfort levels, and there are multiple ships I’ve been writing for a While that I HAVEN’T done smut for, but... sometimes the mood hits, and other times intimacies are a means to a different end for various babes, so...
10. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not that I am aware of.
11. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
I don’t think so?
12. What’s your all-time favorite ship?
I’m skipping this. It changes way too frequently / generally it’s whatever I’m using to deal with my life at a given time. I do have consistent babes that I’ve continued writing for over good lengths of time, cancellations, and my interpretations evolving, but... cannot say just one favorite.
13. What was the first fandom you wrote for?
Um... either Harry Potter or Twilight. TRY to guess roughly how old I am and what era I discovered online fandom, lol.
14. What’s your favorite fic you’ve written?
I’m gonna do a top-SEVERAL here because I am me and I have different reasons to love different things, so... in rough chronological order from oldest to newest...:
Don We Now Our Day Of Peril, aka the t100 Christmas pageant AU, and yes it is somehow more of a hot disaster than it sounds and also involved less personal experiences than one would expect from my fic. My writing roots (pre-fanfic) are in disaster comedy and I do not write it enough.
find yourself an oblivious man, aka the fic that brought me back after I almost quit fandom altogether. Maybe not my best writing, but represents a very specific moment in my life, so.
open your eyes (it’s time to leave me) - the entire “same light” ‘verse could get a mention, honestly, but that one lingers as a representation of my emotional state at the time in the best-worst way and I am still amazed I managed to create something that good in that era. (Also, that was about the point in that fandom where I met some fabulous people, and I think y’all latched on after a DIFFERENT fic around the same time but it still deserves mention.)
never listen but i see it with my eyes closed - I am writing longform fic, which I do not successfully do like EVER, for the ship that saved my tail this year, but also not because it has turned into this deep-dive exploration of the headspace of the most conflicted / morally-darkest character I’ve ever written, and I love it and it’s eaten my life.
Not tagging anybody but this is open-ended for anyone who wants to do it.

fic writer asks
I was tagged by @she-who-the-river-could-not-hold and @burninghoneyatdusk!
Name(s): queenemori (though there’s an underscore on Twitter)
Fandom(s): The 100, though I used to write for the webcomic Check, Please! and I wrote one Stucky fic and some Harry Potter things that I hate now lol.
Where you post: AO3
Most popular one-shot (by kudos): My actual most popular one-shot is for Check, Please, but if we’re just counting t100, then it’s In Dads We Trust! This was a Bellarke/Memori prompt in which Bellamy and Murphy are stay-at-home dads with a Youtube channel and they get in a feud with Josephine, a popular mommy blogger. It was so much fun to write, and I’m glad people enjoyed it!
Most popular multi-chapter (by kudos): That would be You’re Already Breaking My Heart, aka my Bellarke To All the Boys AU, aka the reason this fandom trapped me in the first place, because it was my first fic. I hold it near and dear to my heart because it got me writing again after a long period of just not and I would not have the many other fics I have written for this fandom without it.
Favourite story you’ve written so far: We Don’t Need To Say It, my Memori actor AU! The longest fic I have ever written and the one I had the most fun writing as well. There aren’t very many long Memori stories and I knew I wanted to write one. This was rather self-indulgent, but I’ve gotten a lot of nice comments and other people seemed to enjoy it which makes me incredibly happy.
Fic you were nervous to post: Probably you’re the last best thing i’ve got going or danger has a hold on me (but i’m safe in your arms). The first, because it is my first Murven fic and I was not sure how some people would react to me posting for a different ship than I normally shout about. I’m pretty big on multi-shipping and I know some people are not lol, but I have gotten some nice comments on that one that have made me excited for some other Murven things I have in the works. And the latter because it is smut and I do not enjoy writing smut/do not like the smut I write, but I had the idea and it would not leave me alone so I had to get it written.
How do you choose your titles?: Typically song lyrics, but a few of my titles are more based on the idea or something someone says in the fic.
Do you outline?: Yes, I outline obsessively (I’m a Virgo). We Don’t Need To Say It had two full outlines, one for the fic itself, and one for four seasons of the fake TV show I created for the story lol.
Complete works: 25!
In-progress works: Currently one (but not for much longer). Piece Me Back Together is my Definitely, Maybe AU, featuring dad!Murphy, so it has Clurphy, Murven, and Memori all in one.
Coming soon/not yet started: Some holiday fics are mayhaps on the way 👀. A bunch of prompts that I need to catch up on, including another dad!Murphy story where he has a TikTok cooking show and a Memori Anastasia AU, among others! And in terms of multi-chaps, I have finally started the Bellarke Emma AU I kept talking about this summer, and I hope to post the first chapter in the coming week. And I’m working on my Gossip Girl rewatch for my Murven/Bellarke s1-s2 AU of that. It will most definitely be more Murven than Bellarke because I have not been paying attention to Dan and Serena on this rewatch but I feel like I’m okay with this outcome.
Prompts?: Yes! I’m accepting one-shot and WIP prompts through @t100fic-for-blm! There are a few prompts that are mine on our prompt ideas board and you can also check out our carrd for more general info. I typically write Memori, Bellarke, AU Murven, and I guess I dabble in Clurphy now too. But I’m honestly happy to write anything if Murphy is there.
Upcoming work you’re most excited about: I’m excited about a lot of things, but probably the Anastasia AU because I love that movie so much and I had actually been thinking about a Memori AU for it, so to actually get to write one is going to be a lot of fun!
Tagging/sending love: @mobi-on-a-mission | @bookwormforalways | @imunbreakabledude | @stealing-jasons-job | @useyourtelescope | @sparklyfairymira and whoever else wants to do it!

ok ok ok so ive seen a lot of brainwashed!bellamy theories and i was a little eh about it bc brainwash storylines dont always end well. and i want the most minimum of obstacles between us and a bellarke endgame. but this is t100 so i expect obstacles and i was thinking if they do go w brainwash, the POSSIBILITIES IT HOLDS.
so yall know in the divergent movies (i never read the books, my sister did and told me the end & i was saving myself the pain im srry) when four gets injected so he's in the simulation/mind controlled thing and is trying to kill tris? he ends up holding the gun to her head and shes trying to get through to him but she just keeps repeating ‘its ok its ok’ BUT THEN the i love you just kind of slips out so its “its ok its ok i love you its ok i love you.” and its like she doesnt even realize she’s saying i love you
sooo WHAT IF...bellamy is brainwashed and tries to kill clarke and she gets through to him (similar to him straight up bringing her back to life last season) by telling him its ok and she loves him, or something similar.
im sorry for this random tangent but i got really excited and i wanted to share :)

She had loved him since the first time their eyes locked across the Sky Box. He was a guard, and unsurprisingly enough she was a prisoner. Her crime was involuntary, yet she wasn’t lucky enough to be the chosen twin. She figured it was due to her health conditions; a working class family barely had enough to support a healthy child, let alone one whose lungs were weak and susceptible to detrimental illness. She never cared much about her biological connections though, finding a family in her rotating guards and doctors.
When she and ninety nine other prisoners were sent to the ground and the only person she knew was her former guard, her allegiance to Abigail Griffin’s daughter was severed. She had promised to protect the princess, but she could do that better from afar. For her entire life she had only known change, people were in and out so constantly she wondered if it had to do with her quirks of independence. Growing up in isolation stunted personal development, though she had clearly found enough of herself to turn people away.
When she had finally let Bellamy in closer, she was handed a stick of meat and a wink. She had toted around a bulky silver bracelet until spitefully tearing it from her person in the face of Clarke, weakly shoving Wells aside when he lunged at her emotionally. She wasn’t unaffected by the throw away life she lived, but she couldn’t bring herself to care so deeply like Wells. She was born a default, just another statistic from the moment she opened her eyes. Sacrificial responsibilities were forced upon her from the minute she was given up.
She had found her brother a week later after Octavia had aggravatedly yelled for Murphy throughout the camp and had gotten a response from both throw away teens. The softer of the two had frowned at the sight of another answering to her name before her heart stilled and she looked between her rival and her friend.
When Mount Weather had attacked she had fought beside the former guard with glassy eyes and a conflicted approach, she found herself strung up by the ankles and drained of everything her body had to offer. She was manipulated and humiliated, treated as though she was beneath standard human respects. It was Bellamy who found her next to nude, pale and a pile of bones, fingertips tickling the concrete.
John had broken her to pieces when he left with Jaha. She had watched everyone she loved fall apart, and even worse watched Clarke lose somebody she loved. When the sky had fallen for the second time and Bellamy had ejected himself from the atmosphere, he had given her no choice but to be by his side. Her brother had found infinite love within a grounder's eyes, while she was spiraling deeper and deeper into love with Bellamy.
When they found another planet capable of sustaining human life forms, she had mourned the loss of not only a hundred years, but the death and love of two close friends. She had taken Jordan under her wing without prompt, simultaneously looking out for Madi. She had never seen herself as being maternal, but she had seen too many hearts turn cold without guidance; Finn, Charlotte, fucking Pike. She had higher hopes and expectations for generations to come.
When John almost died and Abby actually did, that’s when Brinley understood that there was no possibility of saving humanity. They couldn’t even save themselves. Life beyond the ark had led to mass destruction by a failure to be taught compassion and understanding, rather rank and diversity. What she hadn’t been prepared for, was having no chance to say goodbye to the man she never got to kiss;
“What the hell do you mean, Clarke?” Brinley snapped, stepping towards the blonde with a fire in her eyes. Octavia had her arms draped around the offender's neck, Echo close to joining the embrace with a peaceful understanding in her irises.
“Brinley--” Murphy watched his sister inch dangerously close to the blonde drenched in blood. The blood of everyone in Mount Weather, the blood of Maya and Gina, Charlotte and Wells, Lexa. Clarke was covered in the blood of everyone she tried to help, and now Bellamy was upon the endless list.
“No. Clarke, what the hell do you mean? What the hell do you mean? He, what did you do? Clarke, what the hell did you do? What the hell did you do?” She fell to her knees, sinking into the gentle softness of rediscovered nature. Bellamy should have been beside her, reveling in what Earth had begun in their absence. “What did you do? Say it! Say what you did Clarke, say it!”
“I killed him.” The blonde’s voice trembled as she pulled away from Echo and watched the younger brunette wither on the forest floor, stained with tears and a lifetime of loss.
Her mind wandered to Bellamy’s reaction tactics, and the way she knew he would have rushed to her side and pressed her forehead into his neck until her heart calmed down. He would have blocked out the noise and grounded her in an intimate moment of kindness and acceptance. Bellamy would have forgiven Clarke, but Brinley never could.
“Where’s the book?” Brinley snapped, somehow finding her bearing enough to support herself on two feet, rather than all fours. Her knees were damp with dirt, and her palms were scratched up, but as she wiped the tears from her cheeks and paths of blood and brown stained her, she couldn’t care less. “Where’s the book, Clarke!”
“Sanctum.”
Brinley’s eyes pinched tightly as another aching sobs slipped through the confines of her chest. “Was Lincoln not enough for you?” She cried, eyes hard and teary as she advanced towards the warrior. “Was Lincoln and Finn and Lexa not enough for you? Are you so desperate to dismantle any ounce of love you come across? Should John be worried? Are you gonna kill Emori next? Huh, Clarke?” Brinely grabs at the gun in Clarke’s hands, sobbing when the cold metal freezes her burning touch, though recklessly she aims it at her brother's girlfriend.
“Brinley, calm down.” Octavia warned warily, eyes on the black gun that was shakily pointed towards a distressed Emori. The girls had become like sisters, though siblingship clearly meant nothing to the last living Blake.
Brinely shrieked animalistically, eyes wild with a fire. “Calm down? She killed your brother, Octavia! She killed your brother! He’s dead. Bellamy’s dead. Kane and Abby and Aurora and Bellamy. They’re all dead. You don’t have anybody left!”
“He was dead a long time ago.” Echo tried to interject, watching over the teetering Murphy who couldn’t seem to process the information she was being fed.
“He was dead when he joined Pike, and when he lost Gina, and months before that when he hung John! When he got Lincoln killed he was just about as good as dead as he was on Bardo and you still tried to fucking save him! You justify when people are worth saving, Clarke. You think you’re god, Clarke. You’re not! You kill people. You killed him! You killed him long before we even stepped foot on Sanctum. You killed us all.”

three thoughts about raven reyes (& 1 thought about Murven endgame)
ONE
I loved Raven Reyes from the millisecond she showed up on screen. I started watching from the very first episode of t100 but I got truly invested once she showed up and that has never changed. She’s so complicated but at the same time her motivations are simple to figure out if you consider her past and what it was like for her to grow up on the Ark. This might get me some shade but I don’t think a lot of fandom understands Raven at all, and that makes me sad (and also angry lbr). She’s one of the most forgiving characters on this show, she wears her heart on her sleeve and you never have to guess where you stand with her. Raven can be tremendously kind and understanding but she can also tear you down and make you feel small if she disagrees with your choices. I happen to think this is one of her strengths. She deserves so much happiness even though she thinks she doesn’t. It’s not even remotely a stretch to say that she may very well be my favorite character of all time. -JENN
A beautiful, iconic genius. I love how from her introduction, there’s no problem she can’t handle or won’t approach. She’s Raven Reyes and she’s a badass with an amazing mind. Yes, she faces challenges, as all these characters face, but she has such a tenacity when it comes to approaching them which I really love. I think it’s been so great to see this character, played by such a great actress, during the years of t100. -RYN
i find she’s often overlooked for how much representation she brings to the show. she’s not necessarily underrated, but just not appreciated enough for how much she can mean to people. raven reyes is a woman in stem, a woman of colour, and a woman with a disability. on top of that, she is so kickass and kind and funny and beautiful and strong - she isn’t reduced to tokenism, she is an integral part of the show. i love raven reyes and lindsey morgan for the comfort and inspiration they give so many people. -ELLE
TWO
Her strength is something that I think is both one of the most powerful and interesting parts of her character. Her season four arc really broke my heart, in the best way since I love pain, but I absolutely loved that she chose to live. That she fought back against every odd and said “screw that” and powered on. She does struggle, yes, she feels pain and experiences loss and everything else that all the characters face, which I think is important, to show that she isn’t unbreakable. She also confronts those struggles by continuing forward though, and doing what she can for herself and her people. -RYN
despite what canon says, i think that she has always been morally gray in her actions. she took extreme actions against grounders in season one. she wanted to turn murphy over to the grounders in season two. she was pretty complacent in the nightblood experiments in season four. she helped with the flame in season five. in season seven, she wants murphy and emori to keep up the prime act. she’s complex and contradictory and realistic and human. -ELLE
For Raven, family is everything and once she counts you as hers, she’s not letting go without a fight. She felt this way about Finn, which I hated at first, but I have come to appreciate their relationship more and respect her feelings for him as her family even after what he did. She’s willing to do anything for her family, including stay behind alone in space, facing likely death like when it meant getting Spacekru back to Earth safely. We see the devastation she takes on when she loses family and how it haunts her and also influences her actions. This outlook is still going strong in s7 when she fights to bring Echo back to herself and throws being a family in Bellamy’s face when she feels that he has betrayed them. I don’t think anything motivates Raven more than family. -JENN
THREE
Thinking about regrets I’ll have that we likely won’t see for Raven, I think it’s particularly traumatic that Finn, Sinclair and Abby all died right in front of her while she could do absolutely nothing about it. All three were her family and I think the helplessness & guilt that she felt regarding their deaths (and to an extent Monty & Harper too, based on what she says after learning of their deaths) really plays a big role on who she has become over the seasons. I wish canon took a deeper look into that but I do think Lindsey does a particularly good job at showing devastated emotions (sob) so at least I got that. I am truly turning myself into a pretzel to cross my entire body that Raven gets her happy ending, but I will add the caveat that it better make sense for her & not be some bs last-minute move that ruins her character either. -JENN
We love color symbolism!! I love Raven’s red jacket and the repeated red symbolism we get for her. Not just because, of course, it ties with Murphy’s symbolism as well (I see you red jacket patch, I see you), but also because I think it shows her character so well. I enjoyed it so much when they brought the jacket, or one like it, back this season, and think it shows how all the character arcs, but specifically hers, are circling back and connecting them to who they were in season one to who they are now. Hopefully, this circling will include satisfying conclusions for her and the others. -RYN
raven reyes is the only one who should be allowed to call murphy a cockroach. with anyone else, it bothers me, but with (the) raven, it’s fine. i think that’s just because of the development they’ve have. it was a title born out of hatred, but it has since evolved into an inside joke for the pair, and it’s even a bit of a mantra. i know a lot of people disliked the “go be a cockroach” line in season seven, but to me i think it was her way of saying (in a high stress situation) “i need you to survive, like you always do” á la season four’s “go. survive” and “that’s what cockroaches do, right?” lines. every cockroach needs a raven. -ELLE
what’s your ideal ending for Murven?
I feel like there’s two viewpoints I’m torn between - what I want to happen vs. what’s appropriate for the story. IMHO the ending for them that’s appropriate for the story is that they die together. It’s a huge part of their dynamic that canon has set up since early s2. If the show does it well, showing that Raven & Murphy actively choose not to leave each other or it’s a scenario where it’s inevitable and they sort of peacefully accept it and perhaps do something heroic at the end, then as sad as I’d be, I’d also probably love it and would completely accept it. And then I’d write reincarnation fic or something, LOL! But what I want to happen - oh well, in that case - I’d like them both to survive and have maybe a hint or two that the option of them being together is there. Personally I don’t need them to be romantic canon in the end if we can at least leave the ending up to interpretation but I would sell my soul for them to kiss onscreen at least once. I don’t care how or why just let me have it!! -jenn
a quiet life in sanctum. i think after all the danger and pain they’ve experienced, they deserve a nice peaceful life. my ideal would be them being together, living in a cute little cottage style house. raven would take over the machine shop, getting to tinker around all day. murphy would work at the bar/kitchen, getting to chat and joke around with people all day. they would come home and talk about their days or hang out with their friends, never without some playful teasing, and then they would fall asleep together - peaceful and happy. -elle
Okay, this is more than simply just sad, but my ideal goal is a final, important moment between them. I have been theorizing and predicting a possible Murphy death since really the season started, and I’m scared to admit I feel like it is heading there. So, while I think it’s gonna break my damn heart, I want Murphy to have a true hero’s death (if he does have to die which I am not down with or excited about but what I feel is indeed coming) and a final important moment with Raven, who I feel with pretty intense certainty will live and (hopefully) lead a very full and happy life. It’s not a perfect ending, or the ending I would’ve written for them, but this is where my ideal meets my acknowledgement of canon meets haha. -ryn

no wait what did beliza say about bellarke i didnt. i havent paid much attention to stuff re the 100 in like ~a year or 2 cause it started to make me legitimately insane and if i couldnt throttle jroth with my own bare hands then i refused to remain a tortured bystander any longer but now im like. they had me in a vice grip for so many years i need to know everything. also any time i think about destiel/bellarke parallels and THEN how beliza fucking eloped at the height of it all it makes me want to commit to a life of crime so thank you for the reminder <3 currently on my way to burn down the cw headquarters
ah yes ! beliza eloping and then the CPR scene were like the light of my life in 2019 i literally was in the fuckin clouds
but essentially they miscarried and it started a Whole domino effect. bob AND eliza asked for time off and that threw the writers and jroth off bc they’re the mains so bob was only ina few eps (7x01 at the Very beginning and i think some others that were short clips including a short flashback be/cho scene) and then he got a solo ep which was shortly followed by his death on the show. meanwhile, clarke spent like four episodes in the same scene bc they were doing a bunch of eps that didn’t take place where she was and some flashback shit so that also gave her time off. clarke kills bellamy four eps before the finale, her kid dies (kinda), and everyone else “ascends” (which. bellamy believed in ascension and he was killed for it only for them to realize he was right all along) and clarke Doesny ascend only for her friends to come back and live with her until they die- but they can’t procreate so they’re literally just living out the end of the human race while they have clarke a fake alien lexa that only she can see and didn’t bring back bellamy or madi bc “that’s how ascension works” as if they didn’t kill emori in that ep AND as if they didn’t make these bullshit rules
as for the bts, jroth was PISSED that they were trying to take time off, so instead of dealing with it like a grown man, he decided they would instead take all of the bellamy storyline and give it to the other male characters (which is so obvious with how gabriel was in that season) and then kill him, with clarke behind the trigger. he also made eliza act out losing her kid and have this whole traumatic “my baby my baby” screaming moment which makes the whole thing starting w the beliza miscarriage even Sadder. after bellamy died, bob posted abt it on ig which cemented that he wasn’t coming back and then shortly after the show ended he was at some kind of panel ? and he said that yes the plan after s6 was that bellarke was supposed to go canon officially (not missing any stops and no deaths with them either) in season 7, but it was cut bc of jroth changing how the season would work. beliza Together have since made a cameo acc and they have said on multiple occasions that they wanted to do it and that it would’ve been great but in the end it just was scrapped during the 11th hour before they started s7 and if jroth wasn’t a Child he wouldn’t have messed up the last season of this show (which was meant to have a prequel) bc his main actors needed time off to process a loss. his deliberate mistreatment of poc, and especially moc, is so evident in the show but also so clear with the way they handled the death of the male lead. anyway tho bellarke was the true ending and the fake lexa was just another way they tried ro fix the mess they made (which also like. they were saying shit like “maybe she’s in the prequel !!” as if the prequel wasn’t set like 100 years before her time) and yeah! that’s the scoop on how s7 of t100 was
