ST5 POTENTIAL SPOILERS!!!

GUYS I FOUND THIS ON REDDIT AND ACTUALLY IT'S QUITE INTERESTING

ST5 Leaks/Fleaks

Gen Plot

Season picks up briefly where we left off in 1986 before jumping into either late 1987 or early 1988. The season is contained entirely in apocalyptic Hawkins. Things with the government are shaky. Owens doesn't appear in the beginning of the season and it's unclear if he's returning, but Ellen Stinson is the new Owens. Hawkins is like a combination of the UD and Kamchatka.

Labyrinths/Mazes being important to both the supernatural plot and the interpersonal relationships. They're inherently linked.

Two songs to be featured are 'Listen to Your Heart' and 'Alone,' both of which were apparently foreshadowed in a previous conversation between Hopper and Joyce, similar to how Hopper's "I'm the puppet, you're the master" to Joyce in S3 basically foreshadowed Eddie's 'Master of Puppets' in S4.

S1 and 2 scenes being referenced are "Nancy and Mike's conversation in the bathtub" and "Hopper + Lando Calrissian"

Lots of importance in COLOR CODING and blocking from the final shot of S4, and a good chunk is told in the costuming—like passing the torch from one character to another as their arcs overlap. For example, Hopper and Will share the "am I the curse and therefore putting my loved ones at risk by being near them?" sentiment for S5, therefore their wardrobe in the final shot of S4 is similar. Joyce/Jonathan and Nancy/Mike's costuming also similar for the same reason, whereas Eleven stands out because she's the first one coming into her own this season. The white for her represents shedding of false skins.

Character duos this season will be primarily dressed in colors of blue/green and yellow/red.

There's lots of symbolism and foreshadowing for every character in S5 from the moment Will touches his neck in the last sequence of S4.

S4 focused on themes of lies and miscommunication, and everyone is going to have to work through these lies before they can defeat Vecna.

Murray and Argyle are both back. Dimitri and Yuri don't seem to be in the beginning of the season.

One thing left unresolved with the Russian plot. Something important will happen involving the machine and the green liquid from the Starcourt bunker. Reference of Dustin vowing to die with Steve when they initially discovered it.

Hopper, Joyce, Mike, Will, and El had to be away from Hawkins, otherwise Vecna wouldn't have won.

An important death that they're nervous about given the reception to Eddie (not Joyce or Jonathan—see details below).

Eleven

We'll see her unlike we've seen her before. A badass who doesn't take shit from anyone. Not a Monster, not a Hero, Jane. Think: adult El could be headed for a Charles Xavier type role.

Erica, Lucas, and El will share scenes together.

El has significant blocking and development with many characters this season.

Max, Eleven & Max

The "kaleidoscope of colors" from a script the writers posted makes a feature in both the scene where young El remembers her mother's love in order to defeat Henry in the lab, as well as the scene where El revives Max. This is significant because it's the first time we see El using her powers on someone in a non-violent way.

El was able to revive Max because of she, herself, being revived in the bunker by Brenner and Co. It's a show, don't tell moment from the writers.

Max getting Vecna'd was foreshadowed in the beginning of 2x01.

Will, Henry/Vecna, The UD

Filming was supposed to commence mid-June, but Noah and Jamie were set to begin in May due to more complicated costuming. Will is going to require heavy prosthetics at some point.

Will's character design is blocked in three stages. The more the UD bleeds into Hawkins, the more connected to it he feels. The gates being open will physically influence him, especially when he's not as mentally strong.

He's kind of like "the card up Vecna's sleeve."

It appears they want to confuse the audience about Will.

Will wrestling with his own morality

Henry/Will mirrors. Will will sympathize with Henry because, unlike El, he knows how and what Henry thinks, and he can feel him.

Vecna and Will are very similar, but the difference is Will is made stronger by love not hate. They will play into that duality.

Vecna was nerfed in S4 compared to how we see him in S5. He'll be much stronger.

At the beginning, he'll be taking a hiatus while he plans how to divide and conquer now that everyone's back together in Hawkins.

Soteria will be the key to saving Will. If they want Will to be untraceable to Henry, they'll have to insert it into his neck and it'll be painful. Vecna not having access to Will fucks up his ability to leave the UD.

Byler/Mileven Triangle

Apparently, it's complicated and up in the air as of now.

Mike dealing with guilt this season. He feels guilty/responsibility for El. He feels stuck in a loop that keeps him from a truth he's scared to face.

Will and Mike to spend a good chunk of the season together based on character designs and blocking.

Will telling El that Mike won't like being lied to comes back with the painting. During a pre-time jump scene in 5x01, while everyone's together plotting how to defeat Vecna and brainstorming how to save Max, Mike brings up the painting El commissioned for a D&D analogy. Will has to pull Mike aside and confess he lied about El commissioning the painting. Mike gets angry, because he doesn't know about Will's feelings and feels embarrassed that Will thought he was that pathetic he needed to be given a pep talk. Their own version of a "fight you can't come back from." Immediately after their fight, we get the time skip.

Mike's character motivations are unclear and seem to be kept under wraps. After the time jump, he and El won't be talking as much because he's keeping the details about Will's painting from her. She's gonna ask what's wrong between him and Will, and he lies/is very vague.

Joyce, Hopper, Jopper

Joyce feels immense guilt/responsible over Bob's death since she's the one that asked him to help in S2, which is why she pushed Hopper away at first.

Hopper has a secret from S1 that was never addressed, and it comes back to haunt him.

Joyce sustains an injury in S5 that is reminiscent of the way someone was injured in S3, but it isn't critical and she'll be okay.

Jopper are the most established couple after the time jump. Lots of bickering still, but Hopper trusts Joyce more than he ever has.

Jonathan, Nancy, Jancy

So far, does not seem like a breakup is happening.

Jonathan's still lying about the college letter and distant because of it, and Nancy thinks he's not as into the relationship and that there might be someone else. She confronts him, which leads to a talk. She's touched by the lengths he would go to try and protect her and any of their future children even from himself.

A moment where we're led to believe Jonathan dies but doesn't, like Hopper in S3.

Hopper-Byers Family

These five characters slowly unraveling their arcs together and have always been closely linked. Their perfect endings are together.

We see the family combining, especially in relation to El.

Joyce gets to witness Hopper being paternal and tender towards the boys.

Scenes with Joyce, Jonathan, and Will

Hopper being back lifts a weight off Jonathan's shoulders.

Okay. How did we see Nancy in S4? Confused. Confused with the love triangle between Jonathan, her and Steve. Jonathan is her actual boyfriend. And Steve is her posible love interest again.

So, putting this in byler language: Nancy = Mike Jonathan = Eleven Will = Steve

If Mike's and Nancy's character's clothing is important at this point of the time line and that means they feel similar feelings, this could mean that byler has a chance. BUT then we read this: ''(...) He (Mike) feels stuck in a loop that keeps him from a truth he's scared to face.'' And

''Mike's character motivations are unclear and seem to be kept under wraps.''

THIS LITERALLY MEANS BYLER. FOR REAL. Like byler could be endgame. Also, remember Eleven's injury in S3? Do you remember the leak of a shoe covered in blood?

It's Joyce. ALSO YOU CAN READ THAT WE'LL HAVE SCENES BEFORE THE TIME JUMP. And here it comes. Look at this freaking hair:

The season 4 bowl cut right? So maybe this is right in some part? I dont know. But that could make sense why Will is wearing Mike's pants, because his clothes were in California by that moment. But i really do think that the pic that was leaked a few days ago is before the time jump.

Im so late with this info haha :) but i kinda think some things here make sense. Even if this is too well explained to be a leak.

Obvious spoilers for Nier Automata Ver1.1a anime.

I actually really enjoyed the first episode. CGI was a little rough (Flight Units especially) but it was a really enjoyable episode and I do like how they seem to be combining Routes A and B.

The puppet show at the end was actually a pleasant surprise and I actually laughed cause of the fact that they added the ending where you blow up the Bunker but they did it in such a creative and fun way and I'm hoping they continue that little puppet show at the end of every episode cause that stuff is just peak Yoko Taro.

The Japanese voice actors were pretty good but that's expected given they're the same voice actors and actresses from the Japanese dub of the game. I thought I wouldn't be used to them since I've only played Automata in English but I really liked the way they sounded.

Overall it was a really good episode, cgi was, like I said, rough in some aspects but that didn't really take me out of it. The 2D artstyle is great though and actually reminds me a little of 90s anime.

Memories in Rain

Dean x OC Warnings: Show accurate violence, angst no comfort, Meg Masters, potential spoilers Season 7. summary: Gia's a hunter looking for information on why all the people most important to her have forgotten who she is, and turns to Meg for help in tracking down leads. When they run into her reason for fighting so hard to be remembered.

Its scream echoed across the walls of the bunker, as she injected another douse of holy water into its system. The Demons voice was hoarse from outbursts of anguish and pain. Yet it refused to give up its master. “I’m gonna ask one last time,” Gia paused, tossing the angel blade from one hand to the next. “I expect a location this time, where’s Crowley,” she asked. Her voice was cold and demanding, it was empty and lacked any form of her humanity. She was the predator, and this demon her prey, god save it. “I don’t know,” it wailed, like a lost puppy. A puppet without a master. “I don't believe you,” She sang, and stepped into the devil’s trap, she placed her blade at the base of his throat and pressed it lightly into its skin. “You’re a knight of hell, you have to know something. Otherwise, what's the point of you,” With every moment that passed her patience was wearing thin, her anger rising and threatening to get the better of her with every second that passed. She moved the blade, from pushing against its throat to resting on its chin. Making it look directly into her eyes as she put more weight behind it. She had hoped that the threat of death would loosen the Demons tongue. “He doesn’t trust me,” It squealed. A desperate attempt to save its life. She sighed, “If that's the case, then you're useless to me aren't you.” She said condescendingly. She plunged the blade through its jaw, and into its skull killing both the Demon and the Human buried deep within. Another Demon to add to the countless others she had killed in the last eight months.

Footsteps descended into the bunker, as she covered the demon with tarp, Meg was back. Meg carried a brown paper bag full of supplies, and noticed the Demon dead on the floor as she unpacked. “Looks like you had fun,” she said, kicking the empty vessle. “Let me guess, another dead end, what are you going to do next Gia,” Gia ignored her, much like she often did in these situations. Though Meg had long since proved she was useful, sometimes Gia was tempted to leave her behind. Though, then she’d be on her own. Hunting with a demon was beter than that. Gia took the wiskey Meg had brought and enjoyed a swig before updating Meg. “It didnt know anything,” She growled, glareing at a corner of the room. Gia was becoming irritated with the lack of progress they were making, how the King of Hell seemed to always be a step ahead. “You’re sure,” Meg asked, taking the bottle for herself and following Gia’s actions, “You hunters usally stab first, ask questions later,”

“You need my help or what,” Gia sneered, questioning why she was working with this demon in the first place. Though the answer to that question was always the same. There wasn’t anyone else. Meg raised her hands in submission, and handed Gia the wiskey again. Gia drank greedilly, enjoying the burn of her throat and the buzz it sent through her system. She offered the bottle again to Meg. Gia took her leave to the furthest corrner of the basement, where she had placed her sleeping bag. Her little corner of solitude was sparse of anything personal except one photo. A photo she had kept hidden from Meg since they had begun working together. In the Photo Gia stood with four men, a small family she had found while hunting, which had recently been stripped away from her. She pulled it out like a ritual and looked longling at the worn photo. In the photo Gia was sitting, piggybacked on the tallest of the group smiling lovingly at his older brother, and his best friend. Though now that didn’t matter as the two that remained no longer remembered her, and the other had made them all forget. As she did every night, Gia allowed herself five minutes to mourn that family, to cry. She crawled into the bag. Hands over her face she silently sobbed until the darkness of sleep came to claim her.

The day came too quickly as always, and the two girls had moved on from the bunker in Nebraska and began the drive to a small town on the outskirts of Colorado. “Why am I driving this way again,” Gia asked, making the needed turn. Meg sat beside her in the front seat, reading her the directions from a map. “There's a guy attracting a lot of demon attention,” Meg answered blatantly, Gia raised an eyebrow waiting for the demon beside her to continue. “A healer of sorts, Crowley must want him badly, I thought we should get there first,”

“Good idea,” A few hours passed in silence between them as they made good time across states. Meg kept reading directions, though at this point Gia was paying more attention to the signs on the road. At the sixty miles mark Meg broke the silence. “You could aways talk to them,'' she suggested. “Huh,” Gia responded, having been half listening. “You could alway talk to them, that family you say can’t remember you. Gia sighed, she wished it had been that easy. When everything went to shit after purgatory was oppened, she had tried just that. Tried talking to them, but it hadn’t worked, eventually she stopped trying. Although that too had been a mistake. In her absence the man who was like a father to her had been killed, Bobby Singer was dead, and the worst part was he had no memories of Gia when it happened. She shouldn’t have been surprised that Meg brought this conversation up again, despite Gia having not told her who this family were. Almost every time they moved Meg would mention it. “What would be the point, they don’t remember me. They have no idea who I am and no reason to miss me,” Gia ignored the forced pitying look Meg gave her and remained focused on the road. “Just drop it, we’re working.”

“Sure thing Boss!” Meg sassed, returning her attention to the map and resting her feet against the dash. Gia would have chastised her, had it not been for the gas light having turned on.

As Gia filled the tank Meg disappeared inside. While the tank filled Gia rested against the car carefully watching the meter. She spared a glance around her as she removed the pump and noticed two things. One, the strange stares she was getting from two maintenance workers and two, the all too familiar and recognisble black 1967 impala. The worker's eyes turned black and Gia felw into action. Distracted by her dexterity Gia was able to stab one with her angel blade and was stuck wrestling the other. Being able to pin him against her car she killed him too and ran into the store to aid Meg. Meg was fighting, holding her own although whoever was with her wasnt doing as good. Gia used the fact that this demon was distracted to her advantage and went straight for the kill. Adding another demon to the growing tally as Meg finished up, it was when she really saw who she’d saved that she began to back up, as though headed for the exit. Dean Winchester. It should have registered, she’d seen Baby patiently waiting for her Winchester to return outside. Seeing him shocked her, the same way an unexpected plunge into freezing water would. She should have thought, prepared, anything to prevent her from experinceing this. Anything that would have prevented her from standing there unknowingly not listening to a word he had said. A stern glare from him brought her back into reality, “Where did you get the blades,” Dean asked, staring at the Demon and Hunter duo suspiciously. Meanwhile she struggled to breath, the photo was a few years old by now but he still looked the same. He still looked like the charismatic guy that convinced her to help search for his father almost a decade ago. “I asked you a question,” Dean said. She saw the venom in his gaze directed at her and Meg. Gia rolled her eyes. He was the same old Winchester alright, still trying to command her, though this time she was an untrustworthy stranger. One who was allied with a Demon no less. Out of pure reflex she responded “Sorry Winchester, I dont remember signing my name as your little bitch,” she scowled, crossing her arms. “We don’t have to tell you anything.” Gia was furious, not really with Dean but the situation as a whole. In that moment he was the best option to pin his anger onto. For he had forgotten her. Despite everything, the fact that who and what she was to him could be so easily stripped left betrayed. “Why don’t you ask the dead angel?” Meg finally retorted.

“What,” Gia asked, worried about what Meg had done. “Castiels’ alive,” She said “So Dean, Dean, Dean you’ve got some explaining to do.” Dean quickly covered his tracks, tuning the open sign to, closed and pulling the blind down. Gia stood back, allowing Meg to lead the conversation. Too taken back from what had been revealed. It was all too difficult and painful to deal with. Especially given the history that Dean had forgotten between them. “He doesn’t remember,” Dean announced, “You're going to keep your mouth shut Meg” Gia’s attention peaked at this. She looked to Meg for confirmation about Castiel, That her own eyes werent playing some cruel trick and giving her false hope.

“What do you mean he doesn’t remember,” Gia said, butting into the conversation. She needed Dean to be mistaken, needed Castiel to be himself and ready to help when asked. She needed him, like she needed the air to breathe, having one more person forget her was going to tear her apart. Gia needed at least one friend from her past to remember her name...

Elodie's Nameday Art Party 🗓️ December 30th, SATURDAY

The FC leader gave me her blessing to host it at the FC house so huns… Come on down to "Hooters Du Monde" at the Lavender Beds (W1, P51) on Hyperion to celebrate the Nameday of the bun, Elodie Aurifort. (It's also my 2nd Player-versary of FFXIV!)

Apologies that it's last minute but I thought it would be a fun way to send off this year of the bun & vibe out with some swell fellas. :) It's my first time hosting an art party so feel free to come gpose, chat, doodle, write, etc.

THEME: "Of the True Autumn" Grab your coziest autumn-themed glam or dye your favorite glam in autumn colors.

[FAQ]

I arrived at the plot of "Hooters Du Monde," where are we to mingle at this Art Party? The party will be outside the FC house, but feel free to explore the inside of the FC house. If anything, I encourage you to poke in for a few minutes to explore & admire the inside as we still have our Starlight Celebration decorations out! :D

I can't draw, is it okay for me to still attend? Of course! I'm using "art party" as a blanket term to come meet up in the game and vibe. You're welcome to art, chat, gpose, etc., but it's not required! I'm going to try my best to doodle, but I'll mostly be preoccupied trying to be a good hostess and hand out party favors.

Do I have to follow the Art Party's "Of the True Autumn" Theme? No pressure, I only ask that you have at least one equipment item dyed with Autumn colors.

Can we talk spoilers about the MSQ in the chat? While I'm fine with spoilers up until 6.1, I just ask folks to be mindful of any possible sprouts around & refrain from talking huge spoilers in the (SAY) chat. Try to keep major spoilers in a (PARTY) chat or a (TELL).

I want to bring beef because I have a chip on my shoulder! Please don't, I'll cry. :( But seriously, all I ask that everyone keeps it PG-13 and be respectful/excellent to one another.

The Art Party is over & I'm a straggler... What raid we queuing? Depends on how many stragglers we have left behind! For the options I'm feeling: Euphrosyne, Pandæmonium (9th Circle), Zadnor, or The Puppet's Bunker.
