"Then I would be dead. And no one would remember me."

This line really drove home how fucking sad Minthara's story is, and really makes me annoyed that she can't be recruited without slaughtering the grove. It's like this thing they tease throughout the entire game; the idea that the enemies you're killing are people, too. The Dark Justiciars in the cloister are dating, one of the Sharrans there just wants to escape, fuck even the BHAALITES just have friends they wanna hang out with.

You just kill them without a second thought. Maybe they doubted their cause, and maybe you could've swayed them over to your side. Maybe they didn't even want to be there in the first place. Doesn't matter. By the time you realize they're just a person, it's too late. They're dead.

And then there's Minthara; the culmination of this idea.

I've killed her sooooo many times and never really cared. I knew you could recruit her but I didn't ever bother. I knew she had a personality, backstory, hopes, dreams, but it was a lot easier to just kill her. And her story would always end there; in some dark cave surrounded by goblin corpses.

And she REALIZES THIS. She realizes that you could have killed her and she would've literally just been one of the bosses of all time. Just some drow lady leading some band of goblins in some grubby, old ruins. The existentiality of the phrase is just sad. She realizes how close she came to just being a pawn. She realizes how arbitrary it really is that she's alive at all.

I feel like the way she says this line gets across more thanks than any actual 'thank you' ever could. You feel the weight of her gratitude as she acknowledges that without your mercy her story would've ended so inauspiciously.

Far too inauspiciously for a noble from House Baenre.

Honestly, it's worth doing a separate playthrough just to recruit her. It gives the game such a different feel, at least for the first half. If you don't wanna feel as bad about killing the grove, just stealth steal the idol and let both sides kill each other. You might also be able to justify it by trying to kill Kagha when she has Arabella trapped.

Either way 10/10 would recommend.

gil holds his heart as if he’s been shot and the giggle it pulls from you is completely unintentional.

how annoying. you’ve been with gil for how long and he still makes you feel like a little girl writing “mrs. richie valdovinos <3” in your diary (if anyone reminds gil of this he might kill them).

gil closes the door behind you and you smile up at him, already turning so he can help you put your favorite article of clothing on — your pretty pink jacket. nancy had even added a sweet heart next to your name, as per your request (though she had to let you know she hated it).

“thank you, amor.” you grin, going onto your tip toes so you can press a soft kiss to his lips. his hands come to rest on your waist and when you pull back the bright blush on his cheeks is evident in spite of his efforts to hide it. you like him like this, vulnerable and sweet and hopelessly lovesick.

it just means that gil rizzo will always have the annoyingly endearing ability to make you remember exactly why you fell in love in the first place.

i'd love to see maybe baby vampire soap, who's still not used to his power and his hunger and has a very bad habit of mutilating his victims and leaving them for the police, together with experienced serial killer ghost who's pissed another killed has moved into his territory. could do something a little funny with ghost finally finding soap and being like... a cannibal? while soap is losing his mind over this guy finding out he's a vampire

could also do something where ghost kills for soap (bc he doesn't want his boy's hands getting dirty <3) but takes the bodies back for soap to drain and glut himself on. very much like a knight killing for his king dynamic, but it also keeps soap reliant on ghost for his meals

my thoughts about dark ghoap are a lot more broad lmao. i think ghost and soap are intense but in polar opposite ways - ghost is the unmovable object to soap's unstoppable force. in a ghoap/reader, i think that manifests in a really overwhelming way. but in just regular ol' ghoap, it's just two fucked up people both trying to dominate their relationship, and one of them is coming out on top - for me, that'll always be ghost.

Final review of ACOTAR

Sooooo. I finished ACOTAR. Disclaimer, the pages referred here are from the French translation.

It's a massive review, (9k caracters and 3 hours, I really didn't think I would write something this long) so I put it under this "read more" thing.

I already mentioned in another post the book is really slow paced during, like, 70%, because it’s focused on Feyre and Tamlin relationship and budding romance. It’s not necessary a bad thing, but it get a little boring after a while. But I already read the book once ; I knew what was going to happen, and it certainly played a part in my boredom (is it the right word ??) so I’ll be indulgent about the pacing.

I picked up one little inconsistency toward the end of the book : on page 452, Tarquin is described as having “almost white hair, striking cristal blue eyes and warm ebony skin” (an rough translation back to English by myself lmao). And later on page 508, he is described having “tanned skin, a blue and green tunic, a roses crown on his blond hair” (still a rough translation). Honestly, it isn’t too bad, Tarquin isn’t an important character yet (or at all), he isn’t even named, only called “Summer High Lord”. I picked it up because Tarquin is more present in the following books and I frowned on the description page 508, and I remembered that he made another short appearance sooner in the book so I checked it up.

So onto the characters and what I thought about them !

Let’s begin with Rhysand, at least it’ll be done faster. No surprise here, I didn’t like him. I’ll admit all the seeds for Feysand are planted here so it's smoother on the next book, something I hadn’t saw on my first reading 7 years ago. But alas, Rhysand is desesperatly Rhysand, so all the signs of abuse that will (in my opinion) define the character and the Feysand relationship are all here too. Nothing new : the forced deal with the broken arms, the drugging and dancing, the eye that spy on Feyre,… I know it’s all explained (and immediately brushed under the carpet) in the next book, even if I don’t remember the details, and obviously Feyre forgives him, but I simply can’t condone Feysand with a history that heavy between them. Especially as we know that there will be… questionable actions on Rhysand’s part later on. Either he doesn’t learn of his past mistakes or they’re not mistakes at all and he knows perfectly well what he’s doing. I think (to no one surprise) that the latter is true, and here an example why : the first time Feyre is painted in preparation for her nightly dances, Rhysand shows her how, when the paint is damaged by contact, he can fix it with his magic. And later on, when Tamlin and Feyre are kissing and Rhys interrupts them, Tamlin has paint on himself and Rhysand made it disappear. Or maybe Tamlin does it himself, but either way it doesn’t matter, my point still stand : Rhysand can fix the paint on Feyre, he doesn’t have to kiss her to explain that the paint is blurred when Amarantha comes in the room. So Rhysand lied to kiss (read : sexually abuse) Feyre. He’s a dick. (Or it’s another inconsistency on Maas part, who knows ?)

Still, I liked him better in this book that I will in the next, because here we don’t have the narrative and Feyre telling him that he’s a poor, poor baby who never, ever did anything wrong in his life (or else he was forced and he didn’t want to do it :( ). Here, he’s still a villain/really morally grey character. (I keep making assumptions about what I’m gonna find in ACOMAF, and I should stop because I want to go in with an open mind.)

Amarantha is caricatural. That's all she inspired in me.

Then Lucien, because I wanna keep the two main protagonists for last. I remembered that he was one of my favorite characters, and so I was quite disappointed with my rereading. He is not nice with Feyre – which, understandable. She killed Andras, who was his friend, and he had to be at least helpful/civil toward her because they needed her to break the curse. That’s a horrible situation to be in. But all the times he insulted her… It was, at least 50% of the time, insults about her being mortal. To me, it feels like Lucien’s hostility toward Feyre was born of racism, and not of a personal history (her killing his friend). He did helped her UTM, but honestly with how their relationship was before that, I interpreted this help as him doing a favor to Tamlin/helping the only person who had a chance at freeing them from Amarantha. I do think that SJM intended for Feyre and Lucien to be friends, I just don’t think I read the book the way she wanted it to be read. And also, to be fair, Lucien wasn’t exactly really developed. Even his relationship with Tamlin was lacking, in my opinion. Lucien was sometimes (rarely) making fun of Tamlin, as friends do, or he was doing his report about sentry duty. Aaaand… that’s it. Tamlin reacted most of the time by being like “shut up, Lucien” and growling menacingly, which is, for one, not nice to threaten a friend, and two, all the time ? Come on, I understand the situation is really complicated, but be nicer to your friend, talk and joke with him, you’ll feel better Tamlin !

This will be our transition on Tamlin. He was quite nice during the majority of the book. I’m not exactly sure about UTM, but more onto that later. It was nice reading about all the efforts he kept making to get to know Feyre, and hilarious how bad he was at it. The Summer Solstice was one of my favorite scene, Feyre was so free and happy, and the idea of Tamlin playing violin for her on his knees… Yeah, I melt just thinking about it. He was a lot more anger-proned that I remember, but never toward Feyre, and she never felt threatened, and even if Tamlin did threatened Lucien, well,…  Lucien always came back to annoy Tamlin, and when Feyre, talking about Lucien’s eye, asked if Tamlin did it, Lucien was quite shocked, almost horrified, that she would think that. So I take it Lucien wasn’t feeling threatened or afraid of Tamlin, and therefore, despite being angry most of the time, Tamlin knows how to keep his temper under control and it wouldn't surprise me if he's the "quick to anger, quick to appease" type. (It’s still not nice to threaten people, especially friends).  About UTM, I don’t know what to think. Tamlin does know how to control his temper… to a certain point. He was never violent toward anyone during the book, but he did have difficulties to hide his anger, notably his claws which were almost always threatening to break out. And yet, UTM… nothing. He gives strictly nothing. No claws poking, no growling, nothing. I’m REALLY conflicted about it. It is, as Lucien said, a way, as small as it is, the only possible thing Tamlin can do to protect Feyre from Amarantha. But is it in character for Tamlin, who doesn’t seem to struggle to keep his poker face, even when he was an open book the whole time ? Was he so open with his emotions during the book because he was at home, with people he trusted and in a place where he was in control ? And so does it mean that UTM he wore a mask to protect himself and Feyre ? (this one should appeal to Rhys’s fans.) I DON’T KNOW. Maybe I think too much and it’s just an inconsistency/retcon on Maas part to justify Feyre leaving in the next book because “you did nothing to help me UTM”.

Either way, I liked Tamlin (and Lucien) less than I remember liking them the first time. But I have a theory : it’s quite possible that the unfairness and retcon that they both suffer in the two next books had me so offended on their behalf that I decided I would love them twice as much for every character who would treat them unfairly based on strictly nothing.

AND FINALLY FEYRE. Even if…, to be honest, I don’t really know what to say about her. She really is quite the typical YA female protagonist. She slayed the first challenge, it was one of my favorite scenes. And the last challenge was really poignant. Even if it was MORE than time that she used her brain. Seriously, this riddle was easy. Or maybe I read too much fantasy books, I don’t know. She was too complacent (not sure this is the right word, but nice is not right either soooo) with Rhysand. A guy that treat me like that, I hate him with all my guts, no matter what “helps” he gives me in the middle of all the abuse he inflicts on me. But well. Seeds for Feysand and all that. On that note, I think I read somewhere on Tumblr that Rhysand knew as soon as he met Feyre for the first time (on Calanmai) that she was his mate ? Not sure tho. In any case, it can’t be true because during their last conversation, just before they leave UTM, Rhysand says goodbye, then freezes and looks at Feyre with, uuuh, big surprise (stupeur in French). Sorry, my brain is melting, I have worked on this review for way too long. So I guess this is the moment Rhys knows she’s his mate. Which, now that I think about it, is really weird that he would be nice to her before that because let’s be real : Rhys don’t give a fuck about people not close to him. Oh, well. Either it’s a retcon, an inconsistency, or anything else, I’m done with this book. Next step : ACOMAF. Maybe I’ll find some answers. Maybe I’ll find more questions, more retcons, and a sudden want to cry. (Open-minded, Danette, remember that you must be open-minded).

To conclude, I was not surprised about Feyre and Rhysand, they were pretty much what I remembered/expected. Lucien and Tamlin were a little disappointing, but honestly not by much, because I knew my memories might be askewed and I know not to expect too much from SJM. This was a very mid read. Not too bad, not good either. 2, 2.5 stars.

Oh, and sorry for any mistakes. This post was long and I really don't have the strengh right now to proofread it. Maybe later, but probably not. I hope it's not too hard on the eyes.

Honestly I'd love to see all of them play more different games other then Minecraft. Some of them do it on stream, but it just so happens that two of my faves, Etho and Bdubs, don't 🙃

I said this before that I'm honestly surprised Etho and Bdubs haven't done a series where it's just the two of them. OOGE is the closest to that, i think. So my dream is Ethubs Don't Starve series. I just imagine Bdubs running from some monster, screaming, and Etho just giggles to the side and then they both die and Bdubs curses at Etho cuz "WHAT YOU STANDING THERE LAUGHING FOR????" makes me remember a moment from Friday Night Stabbies where they discuss that Etho killed Bdubs and Bdubs goes "what are you bragging about that for, what's so great about that?" and Etho says in a tiny voice "it made me happy :)" (speaking of which, i also want Friday Night Stabbies return) i think they would get sooooo much enrichment from Don't Starve and seeing each other die a million times. They would not progress at all cuz they would try to take revenge on each other or smth but then like 1 or 2 times they would get really far and would actually tryhard then die to some stupid mistake. I never played Don't Starve btw

Other than that, i would love to see Bdubs play a story game! I want him to react to some cool events that happen and make choices and get attached to characters and try to find hints and solve puzzles and predict the plot??? That would be so sick bro

And I'm sure Etho has played Portal like a million times but i would love to see a let's play of that, or him playing co-op with someone.

And ever since Etho mentioned he plays Stardew Valley a lot to relax... I know he plays it just for himself but i would love to see him stream it once in a while. Not even necessarily say anything, just play. Ohhhhgh I'm so happy just imagining

Well for starters Macaque was ICONIC here!! Also adorablex3 From his expressions to his redemption (which we'll prob see more of next season x3) I LITERALLY DIED WHEN I SAW HIM TIED UP LIKE OMG MY BOY XDDDD also don't get me started on how gentle he was with lbd's host. WELCOME TO THE DAD SQUAD MY MAN!!

Edit: I totally forgot to add the "hero and warrior" part huh? ^^' that was also one of the best parts of the episode! The fact that Macaque kept saying "I'm not a hero" because he doesn't SEE himself as one. So MK sees what this is about and tells him to be a warrior! That hit so hard it killed me qwq and his face while MK said that it looked so puuuure TwT (I'll also like to add the amazing moment with both of them transforming at the same time they looked so cooooooolx33)

I'll also gonna go ahead and say I DIED from the dragonfruit content we got like, "don't you give up on me dragon girl!" I JUST CAN'T!! He was so worried the entire time for MeiTwT AND HE GRABBED HER BY THE CHEEKS! NOT EVEN THE SHOULDER THE CHEEKS!! AND HE CALLED HER BY NAME! HE HASN'T CALLED ALMOST ANYONE BY NAME!! and then the hug at the end omG I'M GONNA CRY!!! He was leaning on her tooooo QwQ the shippers ate good those 2 days UwU

Let's also talk about the interactions we had with Macaque and Wukong cause I honestly loved every second of it! I'll be real I don't really ship it, I mostly see them as a sibling dynamic. I was super excited with the fight scene and the fact that we had some parallels from their first fight!! (now if that was on purpose for us to talk about or to make the animation quicker idcUwU) I'll add here the fact that we FINALLY got to see the monkey king use his freaking laser eyes!! I seriously got hyped there!! X3 and then we go towards the end with them bickering like the bros they are XDD it was super adorable and it killed me how cute and funny it was! I also appreciate how they didn't go with saying "I'm nothing like him" at the same time, making it more realistic!

Now going to the epic final fight!! It was truly a sight to behold!! The way we got everyone helping out was just beautiful!! And the animation was the cherry on top!!

I also wanna give some spotlight to our villain here! It's really cool that we got some backstory at the start of the 3rd ep. And you have no idea how I screamed when we got a reference from the original journey to the west, where lbd transformed into a young girl, an old lady, and an old man afterwards! I can't help but get excited when they do things like that!!! We also got more about the mayor! And how apparently he AIN'T one of the corrupted/ possest people and how apparently he also ages old! But the fact that we don't know wat happened to him after the defeat of lbd kinda concerns me... And talking about defeat, while I did want her ded after what she did to my boy, I kinda felt bad to how done she was afterwards, how she had accepted her "destiny" hehe... Also with what she said to MK about their pursuit always leading to pain I can't help but think we in for sth more angsty than what we got now sooooo... Ready ur tissues next season and let's pray that they get a little break before that qwq.

Finally! Leaving my fav part for the end! MK and Wukong!(this one is gonna be longerxD) This whole situation started because monkey king decided to deal with lbd alone to protect the others.(and mostly MK let's be realUwU) I can't imagine what both monkey king AND MK were dealing with after lbd's cheap shot with possessing the king. The first time Wukong tried to attack MK he got saved last minute by Macaque! The 2nd time Wukong manage to break control for a few seconds thanks to MK!! Not only did he not hurt him, but he even threw him out of the way to make sure he doesn't end up doing sth worse to the kid!! 3rd time saved by Macaque AGAIN! (TY MY EMO MONKEY!!) And thank GOD the fourth time was the last, and our king finally broke free thanks to MK's trust!! And talking about trust, that's what I love about them. During the whole special, MK believed in The king, he knew that he was fighting for control! He trusted him so much that during the 4th attempt to hit MK, he didn't flinch! He knew Wukong was heading towards him and he didn't turn his head for a second nor did he try to defend! Giving Wukong the strength he needed to break free! (God the hug after that was adorable qwq)

And not just MK, Monkey king also trusts in MK's strength! When the kid went to confront lbd Wukong was the one who stopped the others from interfering. Trusting that MK was more than capable on handling the situation!

And during the end, the whole apology scene was everything I wanted to see! At first I thought MK was gonna be the one to start the conversation, but I'm really happy that Monkey king approached him instead. He was aware that he messed up and that he could obviously tell that the kid was still somewhat upset about it. He knows he's a bad mentor and honestly idk why people expect him to be amazing at it.

This is the monkey king we're talking about! The same guy that made an entire mess up in the celestial realm cause he wanted to be called "great sage equal to heaven". He still has a long way to go to be able to learn how to properly teach but he will try! He's trying for his kid. It's good that they finally got the time to talk about it cause that will make their bond even stronger now!(also the fact that he said "I'm sorry MK" and not bud is so sweet qwq) Honestly I'm a big sucker for parent-child relationships especially when they play it right and when the characters are to die for x3

I really can't wait to see what the future has in store for them in the next season ( and hopefully the one after that pls qwq)

SPEAKING OF THAT. i’m looking forward to seeing the bad endings / alternate universes in it. like … if kirumi killed phys. or korekiyo succeeded in killing phys. or …if kokichi didn’t walk in when gonta attempted to kill phys . ohmygod. phys almost died a lot. i hope we get to see how everyone reacts. ANYWAY i can’t wait to see phys and the others be happy. what the hell. i need this in my life.

ur so kind this is like. one of the sweetest asks ive ever received i was pacing all day and im just answering now because i wanted to have the time to write out a thoughtful response because ohhghgh my god u made my absolute week with this thank you SO much my angel !!!!!

starting this story it was so important to me that like . phys has Other Friends. i think i mentioned this before but i think a big part of the story is that Ouma's mindset is wrong and unhealthy which is definitely starting to be examined this late in the story and like. the way he goes about doing stuff is definitely (mostly) well-intentioned but his mindset and philosophies are so Off and Wrong that i think ONLY having his mindset to influence Phys would a) ensure that phys only develops in a way that makes them more like him, which is NOT good because his mindset is wrong and unhealthy, and b) would make them extremely lonely when that isnt what i want the story to be about. if i COULD i would go back and give them some more interaction with momota because he's ouma's foil character, but i like him giving phys advice and phys taking on bits of his philosphy, too. they basically take an amalgamation of their friends' perspectives and learn to have a healthier outlook that way. so yeah . its super important for phys to have friends, especially optimistic ones like momota, kiibo and chabashira .

MY BODY LIES!!!! i haven't forgotten about this, just planning on properly starting it after i finish sleep awake's main story because between that , my p5 fic, and my jojo fic its kind of A Lot. but amami will DEFINITELY be a prominent character in it because i love his and phys's relationship so much. i tried to stretch it as much as possible in the original story before i knew i had to kill him off :(( and YEAH so i think a bad ending will be the first chapter which will probably be if shinguuji succeeded in his murder attempt , mostly focusing on the aftermath and the effect it has on the rest of the characters which . was pretty heavy for a first chapter so i may make it the second instead lmao.

I CANT SAY MUCH ABT FUTURE STUFF but i CAN say that some of ch5 and a fair amount of ch6 will be different and im super excited to show you what i have in store for it !!! the tone i'm going for is bittersweet so . hopefully that tides you over for a bit :3

the new trio... the phys apostles as i'm calling them. they're so silly to me. something about each of them knowing phys in very unique ways . kiibo seeing phys as soon as they woke up and always being the first to believe in them , chabashira seeing phys after they killed shinguuji and being the only person to see that side of them, and saihara being a sort of mirror to phys's grief in the early chapters after they both lost the most important person to them ( at that time ). i thought it made sense that they would all be a little more reluctant to believe that phys had been totally brainwashed because they all have a lot more respect for them than that , and also just . know them better as a person than the others , who are definitely still well-intentioned , just ignorant.

ouma... my little freakweirdo bf . characterising him is such a challenge but im so so happy you enjoy how i've done it !!!! physouma's dynamic is my favourite i've ever written in anything, i think . it's exactly like you said !!! they're constantly on this weird emotional journey where phys is attempting to get closer and ouma is attempting to distance himself but its not working because they both care about each other so much and like. yeah . they make me a bit insane too . writing phys slowly discovering their feelings has been super fun too . i usually dislike the oblivious love interest trope because more often than not it feels like it's played for miscommunication problems BUT i feel like with ouma it only makes sense because like . its impossible to know where you stand with ouma even if he straight-up says 'im in love with you' you'd just be like ?? yeah ok buddy sure. good one . you got me.

autistic phys is so real to me as i obviously also have autism and . i was projecting super hard when i created them teehee. THE PERSONA FIC !!!! i know its been a while since i updated but i AM working on the next chapter its definitely not abandoned :3

As much as Top and Mew are currently killing me I do find it hilarious how Mew is telling everyone "yeah I broke up with Top" but Top at any opportunity is like "yeah he's taken, he's my boyfriend". That last scene broke my heart, the way Top was just staring at him and gently caressing his face you can just tell he misses him so so bad. Very excited for next episode, as much as I love seeing all sides of Top's character I am missing his cocky and flirtatious side and it looks like Mew must say or do something which gives him the confidence to pursue him again. SLOCG Season 2 thoughts and opinions with Spoilers

First of all, I just wanna say that all 4 of them are very funny, lovable and precious. <3

As much as i love this show, it’s hard for me to recommend it to others without sounding weird. 

They need more episodes! I’m ok with like 30 mins per ep coz it feels like a sitcom-ish, but waiting a year for 10 episodes??? TORTURE. They need at least 20 since the eps are short.

Aside from my main lesbian girl Leighton, Kimberly is my favorite until she did that thing in the finale. 

Pauline Chalamet is an underrated actress! She’s amazing even before i found out she’s Timothee’s sister. It means, she’s great on her own. Comedic timing = 10/10

So Leighton is a rich, math genius lesbian like she really won the lottery. Also, how can she be so good at math when she’s gay???? That’s unfair. 

GRACIE DZIENNY!!!!!! If you’re a First kill fan, you would understand the happiness when she first appeared on SLOCG. WLW crossover!

Why you keep pairing Whitney with mediocre white men???? I’m so tired. Also, please give her a stronger storyline and make her bi, thanks. I don’t know if i’m in the position to say this, but i feel like the writers are being too safe and scared (?) about Whitney’s arc.

Canaan is the only man i can tolerate for Whitney, but they didn’t have that much chemistry, they just look good together. 

LeighTum is sooooo hot. I know them looking and acting alike is so funny, but they are hot. 

I’m so happy that there’s no problem with Leighton’s coming out to her friends and family. I know it’s a reality for most to receive a bad reaction, but i’m glad the writers didn’t go that way coz we are tired. We deserve to see a happy lesbian on screen.

Sorry, but i have to defend Bela with the cheating issue. Eric is not an amazing man like Bela said. He f*cking stole the opportunity when we all know that it’s 100x harder for a brown woman to be in that industry. He has connections w/c he revealed during the argument, but he still did that. Bela cheating on him was nothing compared to what he did. 

Leightum x Leighcia issue: First of all, I love them both so i really don’t know where to side, but i feel like Alicia is getting hate too much? They all said horrible things including Leighton, but Alicia is the only one who’s getting massive hate and that’s unfair. I don’t think Leightum’s breakup was forced at all. What Tatum said was a big deal and them being a twincest ship was an obvious metaphor on Leighton’s old habits. I thought we only like “mean girls” for fun, but some are starting to glorify rude behavior. 

Let’s move on to the real enemy w/c is Kimberly x Canaan coz WHAT THE FUUUUUUUUUk. Ok i mean we cannot choose who we love, but BOTH OF THEM didn’t think it through. Lila was right, Kimberly shouldn’t have acted on it. Or at least for a while? She didn’t even wait for a longer time and talk to Whitney about it. Same with Canaaan. Whitney asked her to give her a chance to talk and explain, but she blew it. I was rooting for you Kimberly! We were all rooting for you! How dare you???!

So with these last episodes, we would wait a year to know what will happen to the dynamics of the 4 girls now that Bela is transferring and Whitney wanted to move to the Kappa house. Faaaaaaaak. Leighton is the only who has a real happy ending. Their friendship is my favorite part of the show so i hope things will get better for Season 3. Also, i know it's unrealistic for roommates to have a perfect relationship, but i just don't like that it will be ruined for a man. :\

sooooo my wifi has been out for nearly 24 hours and despite it making me go a little insane, it DID give me time to finish until dawn! i was a lot closer to the end of the game then i thought i was, goddamn, and i think i only had? two? deaths? chris and josh. wait no thats wrong, mike died in the explosion. i might do a replay if my wifi doesn't come back soon because im at a serious deficit of other stuff to do rn, EA app wont let me open sims 3 bc its not connected to wifi 😭 i enjoyed it a lot more than i expected, but i kinda dislike how much it didnt really tie up jess and matt falling into the mines? like they both crawled out together but then it just ends there, they didn't meet up with anyone else which kinda stunk. i do wanna do an everyone lives run really bad tho, i think i know what choices i have to make for the most part?? i know for everyone other than josh because the butterfly effect for it was SO VAGUE "sam missed a crucial piece of information -> josh didnt recognize hannah on time" girl WHAT does that even MEAN but yeah okay ill stop rambling now djwjfkqkq

oh interesting!! i'm not surprised that josh died, most people don't find the crucial piece of information on their first playthrough (i'll tell you where to find it under the cut if you don't want to be spoiled!)

but i totally agree about jess and matt! when they were developing the game, jessica was supposed to ALWAYS die during mike's chase sequence, but then they decided they wanted each of the characters to have the option of survival, so they added that short jessica segment towards the end. but this is where i think until dawn fails miserably at satire. they have the "blonde slut" being punished for promiscuity and the token black character who is widely regarded as the easiest to kill by accident. it's like they're making fun of those archetypes without doing anything subversive about it. so the reason why jessica & matt feels lackluster is because it most definitely was an afterthought. they kind of assumed both of them would already be dead by this point :/

i'm actually fine with the police interviews being the only ending, although i would've loved to see some of the stronger relationships reunite ;-; there's a little bit of variation in the interviews depending on what choices you made and who died. knowing that the characters themselves haven't reunited yet (they're still asking about each other in their interviews) makes it a little better for me because at least i don't feel like i missed anything off screen, if that makes sense

also i'm so curious how you got chris killed?? ashley didn't lock him out did she? chris has a lot of possible death scenes but imo they're pretty hard to get organically so i'm always interested when i hear that he died in a blind playthrough

how to "save" josh:

when you're playing as sam and wading through the water with mike in the mines, you have to walk to the left (i think) of the water wheel and there's an extra area. HIGHLY recommend you find it because it explains a lot about the game!! it bothers me that they made it optional and the totem that hints at it is sooo vague

Armored core 6 spoiler posting ! This time for the ng+ run and the ending I did, and my thoughts on ng3 thus far:

This time the ending I got for my second run was “the fires of raven”

Pretty hardcore name for recreating the apocalypse and simply leaving the planet, but I get why Walter and Carla wanted it done. They’re the kind of people where the ends justifies the means. Eliminating all life on this planet, for the sake of containing and destroying an organic energy fuel substance that was on its way of leaking out to the space, spreading to other planets, more corporate wars fought for this fuel, and in the end leading to more fires of ibis situations on other planets

Or would it?

The game intentionally never (or at least hasn’t) explained WHY the first fires of ibis happened, and I’m just gonna go ahead and guess allmind is behind this, the group that’s been the most IN GAME but with the least story impact, and my second guess is the group that the original raven is from, killed that lil bitch twice don’t show your face around me again unless u wanna talk >:|

I doubt it’s ravens group tho. A mission I did on the side made it sound like the original raven leaked the information about coral LEADING to the corporations even knowing about rubricon. And it’s giving government leak/Edward Snowden vibes which to ME is a good guy position, now ALLMIND…..

They got some scary descriptions for the allmind arena. Yeah, AllMind exists for mercenaries (aka me) but.. the descriptions include stuff talking about fusing mech with the human mind to make some sort of link, make the body of the mech feel like the body of the pilot? Weird stuff, Also the allmind lady called me a “humanoid”, what’s that about???? Rusty seems to know my true identity since the second he met me (Walter suggests this), and Ayre suggests we’ve met before? So I’m thinking 621 was involved in the fires of ibis situation somehowwww

Then there’s all the hidden notes about these 2 scientists? And their sons that pick up that their scientist dads are losing their minds? There’s a lot im not piecing together at the moment, but there’s a lot of things that haven’t been explained fully, not that they need to, but I can feel an “aha” moment coming. I’m taking a break from the game tho I speed ran the game to get the second ending over with for this upcoming ng+ 3 run that I started (😭 I’m tired)

I hate mascot characters and I hate bitches (whiny girls) SHOVED ON YOU in any game, sorry!!! And u know what? she did actually get a life, I was so happy she fucked off, got in a robot herself, and started doing shit for herself even if it meant the first thing she did upon gaining autonomy was going in to kill me. Go girl!!!!! now what hurt was putting down rusty, but I killed him too fast, so fast that my monkey brain outsped the sad feeling I was supposed to associate with doing that, and I was glad they gave him two health bars.. because the first one I kinda mowed down and I felt semi bad about it and then when he got back up I (in full video game enjoying mode) went all chuuni and yelled “I LIKE THAT AMBITION OF YOURS RUSTY” and Then mowed him down again. So now I’ve gotta go to YouTube bc I didn’t save the fight to fully process what Rusty was yelling at me because when I’m under high stress I don’t hear anymore I just get the job done 😫

Gotta take a break tho, ng3 gave me a mission that wasn’t in my first 2 runs of the game and in that mission they shoved in those wheel skeletons from ds1 on me (😡😡😡) and THAT was the hardest mission I’d had in a while, so much so that it drained me of wanting to play after that (that and I had been doing nothing but play the game for the past 2 maybe 3 days) 💤

Been making that point over the past week, some peeps chipped in too. It is not about the love life or the 'are they friends or not' or the privacy whatsoever. It is not about a looser woman at all. Well, it is also sbout the gossip BUT!

It's about Benny Boy. He made hundreds love him by spoon feeding them with the he ain't the Hollywoo type, that he's private (the secrecy and mystery actually interested peeps too), cultured, educated and so so so on...

Like everyone knows that the famous folks are nothing like what they present themselves to be BUT boy was great at doing everything to cover himself. Did wonders for him cuz he has (HAD?!?!?!) thousands of adoring fans ready to always have his back, arms, ass or arteries even. He never gave them A BIG reason to doubt him.

Now, the friendship (or more) with fairy queen is basically complete opposite of who he always said he was. Sooooo nope, it's actually not about the love dramas/private life. It's about a liar who got busted, a man who thought he can have whatever he wants but turns out he can't.

I don't think starting this big drama is a bit much. The fans of his, from teenage girls to adults, have every right to be fucking mad at him. They invested time and money in him. And now it turns out that the man that they believed in so much (parasocial relationship much I'd say), thought he's on their side and supports them, is actually pretty fucking close with a (sorry for going a lil old testamenty here) generally bad person. It's not talking shite (I mean it also is, mostly cuz this is great source of jokes), it's demanding accountability for his words and actions. I mean like I know he never idk killed anybody and there are better things to do, but peeps are mad and they are in the right. It's basically MLM scheme Benny made and it's falling apart as we speak.

And I spoke about this a long time ago I think, but there is the centuries long discussion about how much celebrities/famous folks owe us. Can ye separate the art from the artist. And me (AGAIN MA PERSONAL) opinion is that ye can't. They theoretically owe us nothing. They have no responsibility to us, the commoners. BUT! When they chose actively to involve themselves with public causes and share their opinions? I mean their involvement with world events here, to shorten it. Then they do have the responsibility of their actions changing over them. If the famous folks don't wanna take the responsibility, prove credibility of their actions or be judged, they should keep their mouths fucking shut. 95% of time they have no authority to speak on the matter, yet they do. It's called performative activism.

So when they are outed to be who they really are in private (hello there Benny!) then yeee, go drag their asses. I noticed it here on tumblr, and was told some more about other parts of the web by ma muffins, but peeps are reducing it to it's personal life and none of our business. Which true but also not. Ye know who reduces it to celebrity love life drama only? People who try to excuse all his bullshite and try to minimise it, and don't see the actual problem there cuz it does not affect them personally. Wonder why would they do that hmmm? Something in common with Benny? just ma lazy thoughts x.x

If it really was just about the relationship mingling - Benny dating either his costar (as fans would like) or another someone, then yeee the drama would be like 50/50, probably more excessive than it should be. Fun but also not fun. This one is sadly not about that. It runs much much deeper.

More Pet!Uzi AU Stuff (because I just got new ideas about it)

Sooooo I know I said I was gonna work on the next submission for the Strip Club AU, but some asks that I definitely didn't make how dare you insinuate that got me thinking of some new ideas! I’m still gonna make the next Strip Club AU submission, just…not right now.

  Without further ado, let’s get into it!

Just so you know, these are probably gonna be mostly Ending B stuff, cuz I like that ending more for some reason. Also I don’t have a lot of ideas for Ending A sooo…

Even though Uzi ends up getting her own room in Ending B, she rarely uses it as she usually sleeps in V’s room. She really only uses it when she really wants to be alone, which is a rarity

V is just as possessive of Uzi as she is protective of her. She does share her with N, of course, but she always reminds her of who she belongs to

I can't imagine they're relationship turning out another way tbh.

Along with “Her Pretty Girl” V sometimes doesn’t use the “her” part and just calls Uzi “Pretty Girl”

Uzi and V’s relationship in Ending B, although twisted, is surprisingly healthy. V feels better about herself because of her remembering that her pretty girl exists, and Uzi gets the love she never got from anyone else from her old life. Still twisted tho

Twisted is fine so long as it's healthy.

Uzi and V roleplay sometimes

In Ending B, Uzi basically switches sides and starts hunting other worker drones with V. In a twisted way, watching her victims beg for their lives while their slowly and painfully killed begins to become a turn-on for her over time. In other words, torturing people ends up making Uzi very fucking horny

Didn't see that coming. Though I suppose it does make sense, considering her chosen partner.

Uzi, despite her fanatical devotion to V in Ending B, is a surprisingly wise person. Gives good advice, is pretty skilled in combat thanks to V, and is a good friend to N. Still fanatically devoted to V tho

Uzi and V fuck. A lot. Literally every day. A little bit too much, sometimes

Uzi and V also do a lot of BDSM, though the times they do so are spread apart a long while so that they don’t lose that...specific magic ;)

If all the worker drones were killed and they had nothing else to eat, V would mercy kill Uzi and then kill herself rather than eat Uzi. She will not confuse Uzi for food again

Uzi and N have a surprisingly good friendship considering that N still thinks Uzi as a pet. Uzi gives some surprisingly good advice to him, and N, earlier on, gives her a break from V

Yay good friendship vibes.

Despite the detail above, Uzi’s never truly comfortable around anyone else besides V. N’s a close second, but there’s something about being close to V that makes her…comfortable with everything

If Uzi was accidentally hurt, like an actually seriously injured V would panic a little bit before putting saliva on whatever was damaged and place her in her room’s bed, making sure she was comfortable.

If someone hurt Uzi on purpose though? And if that injury was major? They will know pain. V will not rest until they are given a slow and painful death. And when she gets her hands on them,  a slow and painful death it will be. No one will find the body intact. Nobody hurts her fucking pet.

End game spoilers.

Here is what happened for me and how I feel.

I had shit for Charisma as a Monk sooooo I had a rough time with Companions.

1) Wyll broke his contact, we saved his dad, and I made the choice not to go after the Dragon, my thought being- I think we have this without help. let leave the dragon for the next threat. (He was just one line at the docks in the end.... so not sure there. still wanna toss his dad in the harbor ngl)

2) I let Shadowheart make all her own choices. She chose not to kill the Nightsong, she choose for her parents to die. (My partner got her to keep her folks alive in their run.... and that felt better to me. so, oops.) She wasn't at the dock at all in the end weirdly.

3) I always told Karlach to live, I noticed the thing Companions asking for is not the choice they need but the choice they want. So I kept telling her No, bitch you are going to live. Only for her to die on the docks. I at some point started thinking about irl people who want to die thier own way... and I'll admit the thought of begging her to stay instead of just being with her as she died, sounded so selfish to emotional compromised me. (but this still feels really bad)

Those were the 3 of the main 6 not in my party, the whole game. I did pull them into the party for their story's where possible. These 3 had the lowest approvals but they were far from negative.

4)Laezel was hard, she was in my party the whole game but I didn't do the temple/creche by the time I went to go do it, Halsin was threatening to leave the party if we left the Shadowlands. So that all fine, but I really wanted to make it up to her, we got the orphuc hammer but had no way to the prism till the last minute. It was free the prince then or never. We freed him, only for him to get mad we didnt do it sooner. I was like, um, we couldn't break your bonds without the hammer we went to do get. So even your honor gaurd would have failed. Needless to say I was miffed, only to find out we NEEDED an illithad to over power the brain.... and the choice was the prince or me. Sorry bud but it's YOU. So at the end on the dock He gale Laezel his dragon and asked her to free their people and for Tav to kill him. This weird, but again was what laezel said she wanted, in my head such a strong warrior could do worse then becoming the rebel leader, so I let her go. Again it left selfish to ask her to stay while her people suffered, and I was still torn on the asking me to sacrifice Tavs soul for everyone on top of the rest of it.... so not 100% happy here either.

5)Astarion I romanced his ass, and convinced him not only are his siblings and the souls trapped for the ritual like him, but Tav was like them. This felt good at the time... but him running for cover on the docks and everyone being fine with is SUCKED. had a after scene with him, we agreed to look for a way to walk in the light together. it was sweet but my contingency plan was gale annnnd-

6) Gale. I'll admit having an Ex saying kys was like enrageing for me. I was mad, even when Gale wasn't, I was mad cause Gale wasn't. And I held that anger. I think I picked too many 'tell Mystar to fuck herself' options cause that turned quickly into "I want to be a God too" and like, NO Gale. You are a good human, and Gods are NOT people. I like him as people, I would want him or Astarion on a power trip, I like them as they are. So it was upsetting to see Gale continue to be sure he'd take the known for himself. I passed a DC 30 check to try and conive him not to do the thing, only for him on the docks to be like "I'm going fishing for the crown, and I'm disappointed you don't support me" I didn't change my mind.... ((to be fair I've been dressing him in drow camp wear and this

most of act 3.... so I was dressing him for the evil God job he wants the whole time)) I'm the most unhappy about this ending honestly.

yha I could scum save and try to alter it, but I've been trying not to, and this is where I'm at. But now weirdly I'm looking back at Gale and liking him less because of it. He was so helpful in fights and just a joy, but now it feels weirdly like betrayal, like he was pulling an Astarion all along.

I know he wasn't but that's how it feels he feel bad now in a weird way.

that's Mt thoughts firt play through time for a durge run so I can take some more Spoiler tags off lol.
