What cracks me up about Batman Beyond is that a lot of the “high tech” predictions for the future are starting to come true, but one thing they missed was predicting how prevalent social media would effect our everyday lives. Cellphones (or smartphones) with everyone connected to the internet, that concept didn’t really exist in Batman Beyond. When the show aired in 1999, Xanga and (some say the predecessor to Facebook) and similar sites were barely on anyone’s radar. Makes me wonder how Batman Beyond would be written differently if social media was included (even bigger than it is today).

I certainly miss having physically intimate moments with another person.. but I appreciate having the space to be more intimate with myself and tend to my own needs. I love feeling free to honor all that I am and to honor my own wishes and desires. I love having the growing ability to discern between those that are interested in me and those that are qualified to be with me. And I love feeling comfortable in my own space, mind, and body to not need to fill it with just anybody.

What I love about Dark Souls 1 is that it promotes growth from failure rather than success. It offers you a wide variety of options and paths and lets you find your own way through them. Most people start out very bad at Dark Souls, and you really do have to just keep trying and "get gud"

And thats kind of how it is in real life too. You grow from failing, and you reap from success.

Its not enough just to sow. You have to keep trying new things, getting better, and seeing what works. You cant reap without growing.

Try not to go hollow.
