Tumblr media
Yo dudes Imma make this so sad just angst though and though. I also did a bit of mixing of Teen Wolf's Hellhound and some of my own ideas.
Warnings: Heavy angst
Human was what Y/N was unlike his younger twin Hope who was in all sense all powerful. Ever since their birth Y/N was over shadowed by Hope as he didn't understand when it happen but his family began to ignore him and favor Hope. As the once proud Klaus showing off his first born son was now ignored his son and all his attention was on Hope.
"Not now Y/N, Hope needs my help." Was what Y/N heard over the years as he got older, now while Hope took after Hayley. Y/N was more like their father than anyone care to notice as the boy loved art like his father, had mostly Klaus's features but more dangerously Y/N inherited Klaus's temper something Marcel learned the hard.
"Y/N is only human Marcel. He can't harm you." Rebekah told the vampire after Marcel had told her that the boy had stabbed him the throat with a butter knife. At age seventeen now Y/N was used to being alone and having anger for his family how they seemly pretend he wasn't a Mikaelson.
"Where ya going kiddo?" Marcel asked seeing the teen putting on his shoes and had his backpack with him. Y/N looked at the vampire with a glare as Marcel was used to the anger in the boys eyes and mentally cursed the Mikaelsons for not keeping an eye on boy as there was nothing more dangerous than an angry Mikaelson with nothing to lose.
"Why would you care? Do yourself a favor and stop caring for the useless Mikaelson." Y/N tells Marcel anger bleeding though his words as he left the compound and headed for the woods. The woods was where Y/N spent most of his time to draw or to let his anger out but like his father he still held onto it. Y/N sat drawing weird circles that he had been seeing in his dreams lately then got up seeing it was getting dark and as he walked home he was attacked by two vampires.
"Man Klaus is going to pay. And what better way than to drain his kid and leaving the body on his door step."
"Yeah I guess he should have kept a better eye on the weakling." The vampire holding Y/N said and a flood of anger filled Y/N just as the vampire sank his fangs into the boy's neck when there was a sudden burning. The vampire let the boy go pushing roughly as he screamed and Y/N watch the vampire burst into flames.
"What do you do to my friend brat." Vampire two growled grabbing Y/N by his throat and the boy growled deeply as his eyes flashed red. The anger of years being ignored and loneliness was let loose as Y/N tore the heart from the vampire's chest. As things calmed down Y/N was surprised and stared as his hands as happiness bubbled in his chest as he realized he wasn't useless and maybe his family would care for him again.
"Dad! Mom!" Y/N shouted running into the compound with a grin that fell as he noticed he could hear everything but his family. Y/N found they left him so he made up his mind grabbing a bigger backpack his packed his things and didn't bother to leave a note.
"Fine I'll leave and get stronger without them if they don't want me then fine." Y/N growled as he left his childhood home not looking back. Two months, it took two months for someone in the family to notice that Y/N wasn't around but they brushed it off as the human boy was with Marcel but no he was in the mountains of Montana with an older man that Y/N ran into his week away from home. The man whose name was Alias, was an Hellhound that was almost as old as the boy's family and Alias took the boy in trained him to control his hound form and hellfire which when Y/N learned he could do that the boy was excited.
"Calm yourself pup." Alias told him as he had the boy sit in front of a fire the first day of training. At first Alias was annoyed with Y/N at first but the boy grew on him and the older Hellhound became a father figure to Y/N.
"Hey Al why are in the mountains?" Y/N asked following the man.
"Going to train you in the cold so you could control molten lava veins. From there we are going to wake your full potential, pup."
"Why the cold?"
"Can't risk you burning yourself until you get control." Alias tells Y/N as they came up to a cabin. While in New Orleans Hope and Freya was trying to find the older twin with a locater spell but so far they came up with nothing.
"Where could he be Elijah?" Klaus growled pacing angry that his first born was gone. Elijah watched Klaus closely while Kol called Davina to come help.
"I understand you are upset Niklaus but we will find the boy." Elijah said as Hayley came in crossing her arms.
"The wolves lost his scent just out of the city." Hayley said getting everyone's attention as they hoped they could find the boy soon. A year passed and Y/N had unlocked his full potential and had bested Alias many times in training. But sadly the boy's father figure had passed and Alias had passed his family Crest to the boy asking him to spead his ashes in New Orleans.
"Don't worry about me, pup. You'll fine as you are strong." Alias told Y/N the night he passed as their foreheads touched and in his honor Y/N howled and swore he hear othe Hellhounds howled too. Y/N walked though the streets of New Orleans carrying the urn holding Alias's ashes while on his way home Y/N had ran into other Hellhounds apologize for his lost and if he needed anything they were happy to help.
"Y/N?" Y/N heard Hope's voice and he turned saw his sister who shocked to see him. Y/N was no long thin and kinda scrawny, he was now lean with muscles with five a clock shadow on his nice jaw line.
"Hope." Y/N said his tone not welcoming surprising Hope as she eyes looked at the urn in his arms. Someone called out for Hope making her turn to see who it was then looked back to find Y/N gone and pulled out her phone calling Hayley.
"Mom, I found Y/N."
"May you find peace dad." Y/N said speading Alias's ashes in the bayou at a cabin the old hound had and left to Y/N.
"Here I thought I was your father?" Klaus said smirking stepping out from the tree line and Y/N looked over his shoulder seeing his father.
"You stopped being my father when I turned six." Y/N said looking back out at the lake as Klaus frowned watching his son. There was something was different about his son and Klaus couldn't put his finger on it but he was going to find out. Y/N was annoyed that suddenly his family would come out to see him while just shut them out and they still didn't know he was a Hellhound.
"How you have fallen hybrid. Your son hates you and now your dau ......." the vampire was cut off by a huge black hound jumped on his chest growling as it tore his thoat out. The hound had glowing orange eyes as it growled killing the rest of the vampires saving Hope and Klaus.
"Is it a wolf, dad?" Hope asked watching the hound look back at them as something about it was haunting.
"No. It is bigger than a wolf." Klaus said as it ran off and both followed it to find it was Y/N come morning.
"Fuck." Y/N muttered rolling his sore shoulders as he still wasn't used to shifting at night going inside to take a cold shower to cool down. Y/N sat down studying a few old books he gotten on his travels as his door opened and Klaus walked in with Elijah and Hayley following.
"Yes please come in Klaus." Y/N said annoyed not looking up from his book.
"You have failed to me you are a Hellhound."
"Because it was none of your business. I made it clear I want nothing to do with any of you."
"Then why come home?"
"If you must know Hayley, I am carrying after my father as protector." Y/N told Hayley there was anger in his voice as Elijah saw the anger in the young Hellhound's eyes that reminded the older Original of Klaus.
"Protector?"
"Yeah, now If you excuse me I got work to do." Y/N said walking out leaving them as they realize they had years of anger and loneliness to undo from the young man unsure if Y/N will ever forgive the family.

Expecting... Pups: Chapter 0 - Intro {Klaus Mikaelson x Caroline Forbes}
Intro

Disclaimer - (Cause fanfiction is tricky ground and I hope not to offend the creator of the original story and get sued)
I do not own "The Vampire Diaries", it belongs to its original creator Kevin Williamson, Julie Plec, and L. J. Smith. This is only a fanfiction that I was inspired to write by the original work. Please support the official release of "The Vampire Diaries". Most of the media - such as the art and illustrations, gifs, video's, etc. used in this fanfiction - are from the web. Thus, most of them aren't mine (because I really, really can't draw) unless mentioned. To fit the story, images are also edited by various apps and websites. So they aren't mine, just edited.
Also if you own a picture or Video that I found online, and you either want your name added, or me to take it down. Please contact me and we can talk it out. P.s. I also ask that you do not copy my work and publish it onto any other website.
If you're gonna use my idea, please ask me (If you ask nicely, I for sure, will agree). If I don't contact you within a week, then just assume I'm giving you the all clear and go for it. Just remember to credit me and the story you are getting the idea from.

What if Klaus had not only gotten Hayley 'pregnant', but Caroline pregnant with his child as well. How would they take the news?
What would happen when a certain doppelganger brings Hayley's secret to light? Would it finally earn her, her long desired freedom.
And the biggest question of all, how would the story change if it was Caroline that was pregnant with Klaus's triplets?
*****
Tumblr media
"The were-slut. You forced me into the same league as that were-slut!"
*****
"I need you to jump into a pool with her to cool her down. That should buy us some time." Klaus nodded, instantly picking her up. Worry filled his chest as he felt her temperature only rise.
He jumped into the pool, holding her close to his chest. "I can't lose them. Klaus. I can't." Caroline cried, holding onto his shirt.
"We won't Love. I promise." Klaus told her, holding her close. Her temperature had slowed down, but still didn't stop rising.
*****
"I'm telling you! Neither me or my wolf, can feel even so much as a sliver of a connection. I couldn't care less what happens to her or the thing in her womb!"
Tumblr media
*****
Here's something you can look forward to:
Klaus not being as nearly as welcoming of Hayley's pregnancy, as he was of Caroline's. (Is that something to look forward to, honestly, for me it is.)
Also inner wolves are mostly like a 6th sense. That helps them connect more with there wolf side more.
Other main pairings will be: Katherine x Elijah, Kol x Bonnie, Matt x Rebekah
*****
I really haven't watched the originals. So this story will be kind of following the canon, but at the same time I will be changing up anything I don't like.
God, I really am going to have to watch The Originals for this, aren't I? (Groans.)
I can not, for the life of me, stand Hayley. I don't get why people keep calling her a queen and stuff. And don't even get me started on the Klaus x Hayley shippers. Oh well, I guess they're entitled to their opinion, and I'm entitled to my own.
But I am going to make my distaste for Hayley, Cami, and Tyler very clear here. So don't be surprised when I bash them in the story.
Hope, Josie, and Lizzie will be Klaus and Caroline's daughters.
I also have a Klaus x Caroline one shot book, where I have a one shot of a similar concept of a werewolf Caroline being pregnant with Klaus's children posted. You may like that, if you're interested in this.
Anyways,
Klaroline for life!

oh my god ok so i decided to write a little smth about my girl amelia because i love writing and i used to do it all the time but i stopped and i rlly rlly wanna get back into it
so i wrote smth that takes place at the end of s17 after the amelink proposal
TW: mention of drugs/addiction/death
Sometimes --- more often that usual, it feels like the world is ending, like life will never slow down, no matter how many times she wishes and she prays that she'll be able to wake up and it will feel like a breath of fresh air; to be able to wake up and have the rays of the morning sunshine creeping it's way through the dark curtains, hitting her boyfriend's face at an angle that made him look absolutely breathtaking, an angel sent from God himself, so beautiful that it'd take her breath away, and maybe even her heart would skip a beat-- literally. And then his eyes would flutter open so delicately and the rays would make his blue eyes sparkle, looking even more blue than she ever remembered.
But instead, she woke up with the alternative.Alone--oh, ever so lonely. He had sprung up the big question, getting down on one knee and pouring his absolute heart out, even giving her four rings because the boy was worried and conflicted on exactly what he wanted the ring to look like. It wasn't like she didn't want to, or that she didn't love him because oh my god, she loved him. Loved him so much that sometimes it made her chest feel tight and it made her want to understand what she did to deserve someone like him, someone as amazing as him.
You challenge me... you-you.. thrill me. You.. impress the hell out of me.
On top of the world-wide pandemic, Scout-- Meredith's kids, her mind is going a million miles a minute and for once she wants to take a step back-- out of her own mind, her own life and just breathe.
And there's definitely nobody on Earth like you.
She can't get the image out of her head, the heartbreak that spread across his face, the absolute sadness and pain that washed away the big big smile he had previously been giving her. She didn't mean to just blank and stare at him with no words, no expression-- she just froze.
So now, she woke up alone, her boyfriend not beside her. She felt like she couldn't catch her breath and maybe it was because life sucked or maybe it was because of the nightmare that kept flashing through her head, in bits of pieces like a flash on a camera. Appearing back into her mind for a second before she completely forgets what the dream was even about. It was about her father-- it's always about her father. But this time, it was about her father-- Ryan, Derek and even Christopher. Four of the most important people to her; gone. The curtains were closed, the rays couldn't peak their way inside, or maybe it was because it was ten o'clock at night-- the room so so dark, almost as dark as her mind as been lately.
Meetings had been harder to attend, the pandemic had only been allowing them to do meetings over a computer screen, in the same atmosphere that is making her feel like she's going crazy. Scout takes all of her free time away-- actually all of her time. She loves him, more than she loves herself but for months now she hasn't been able to breathe, especially with her nieces and nephew also needing all of hers and Link's full attention. She's doing this because they're her family and Meredith is on a vent, the world trying to take even more away from her.
A day or two at work is what she needed this week to feel like she was alive again, cutting into someone's brain to give her some kind of feeling, even if it was just adrenaline. Sometimes, Amelia wishes that the adrenaline was enough. Was enough feeling for her to keep going-- god, she wants to give up so badly.
So, that night instead of waking to her boyfriend's beautiful blue eyes, she woke up to an empty room and an empty house because her sister was nice enough to take the kids for a day, the day after her wedding because hell-- she was that nice. She broke down, tears staining her cheeks and she was worried she wasn't going to stop.
You're loud and fearless and it scares the crap out of me. How am I supposed to call you up and tell you that I've been shot? I can't tell you about my pain-- I don't want you to know that pain exists.
Derek--- she missed her big brother more than she has ever missed anyone. Her father being an exception but Derek, her favourite person in the entire world was taken from her too soon and once again it felt like her world was crashing down around her. His voice was repeating in her head like a broken record and it was loud--- so loud, was she crazy?
         You're my favourite sister.
She couldn't breathe, it was like she was reliving the news all over again. Her chest felt like it was caving in and Derek's voice was still ringing in her head, like he was haunting her.
"We did that." Amelia nodded, standing next to her older brother after a successful brain surgery that saved the mother of her friend's son.
"We did that." He agreed. "We gotta publish." She joked, Derek looking over at her and replying with, "Oh hell yeah we do... You ever think about doing drugs again-"
           "Remember this?" Amelia interrupted.
"I was gonna say call me and I'll fly down to Los Angeles to knock some sense into you." He joked, causing them both to laugh. "But okay... remember this. But that doesn't work,"
"Yeah, you can totally kick my ass." She joked, extending her arm to shove him in the arm gently, both of them laughing while he pulled her into a tight hug. "Done. I love you." Derek said softly while he tightly held onto his little sister, and she was hugging him back as if she never wanted to let him go.
Her favourite person in the entire world was gone and she didn't know what to do anymore, grief comes in waves and it never goes away. It's true what they say about grief-- it gets better with time...  because it does and she knows that better than anyone else. But what they don't say is that when it does come back, it's like a wave hitting you when you least expect it and then you're drowning, trying to catch your last breath before you're suffocating.
"You didn't kill Ryan," the girl with the dyed red hair had stated, someone that had became her friend after her first night at the treatment centre.
"Excuse me?" Amelia asked, mostly taken by surprise because it was in front of a group of people, a literal group of people.
"You didn't kill him. You might've wrote the prescriptions but he took the drugs himself." Everyone was listening now, her secrets now out in the open. Secrets she never shared with the group.
          "Shut up, Hayley." Amelia snapped.
"And that guilt-- that's gonna kill you. That's what killed my best friend, it was guilt. Cause her mom was so freaked that she had a breakdown and her dad left-" It was like it was just the two of them, direct eye contact with each other. It was like everyone else that was in the room disappeared.
"Hayley... you don't know what the hell you're talking about, you're a child and you need to shut up." She cut the girl off, getting frustrated that she was even sharing her own personal secrets with everyone else. She could feel the pain rising in her chest, a tight feeling stuck at the bottom of her throat. She didn't believe that.. she did kill him.
"You didn't.. kill him!" Hayley tried again, the girl clearly wanting to get her point across. "Okay? He took the drugs himself, you didn't make him take them. He took them himself! You gotta get that, before I left here.. you have to get that. Because if you don't-- you're not gonna make it," Amelia's vision was blurry now, the tears drowning her sad blue eyes. "And I need you to make it. I know you loved him, and I know he loved you. But he took... the drugs... himself."
Amelia finally broke down, sobs taking over her body. They were loud cries, cries of pain, cries for help. There was pain all over her body, rushing throughout her body like waves crashing against the shore. Burying her head into her hands, pulling her legs onto the chair and pulling them against her chest, trying to make herself feel small because that's how she felt--- small.
It was cold in the room, and she was numb. Memories were flooding in, Derek, Ryan, Christopher-- her father. The room was cold, almost as cold as the hotel room was when Ryan died. He died-- right beside her. Her boyfriend died right before they were going to get sober, be happy together.. he died. He didn't make it. And no matter how many times she thinks back to that day in rehab when Hayley reminded her that it was not her fault, it was her fault and not a day goes by where she doesn't blame herself.
She wasn't crying anymore, she was just sitting in her bed with her legs pressed against her chest, no emotion and no thoughts other than the faces of everyone she has ever lost. The short moments she spent with Christopher, her dad getting shot and Derek holding her so tight that she couldn't move, Owen telling her the news about Derek dying. Link hadn't checked in, he hadn't called, he hadn't texted and she didn't blame him. He was hurt, like he deserved to be and she couldn't be mad at him for not showing up at the house to see her. But she did need him, she needed someone, but her one sister was in a hospital bed with machines breathing for her, and her other sister was with her husband and the kids--- her kid.
After she ended up forcing herself out of bed, her mind still loud and her entire body numb, a lump constantly sitting at the bottom of her throat--- she was walking through the front doors of a quiet, dark and small bar. Not many people were there, just a few people eating some food with their friends, some had a beer in front of them. Amelia doesn't know how she got here but she was sitting down at the bar, blue eyes heavy and sad, old makeup from earlier in the day staining her cheeks.
"You look like you need a drink," The bartender spoke as he made his way over to her. He was tall, sandy blonde hair with green eyes, he definitely didn't hurt the eyes to look at. "What can I get ya?"
Her sad eyes slowly glanced up at him and she didn't answer. She didn't know what she was doing-- a drink? She hasn't a drink in a few years, the last time being when Meredith was in the hospital for being attacked. It's been a while and she thought she was doing good-- better. She thought about Link, and Scout, who needed him. Scout needed her, more than he needed anyone. It was almost enough for her to stand up and leave the bar until her mouth opened and she was ordering a drink. "Vodka tonic."
"Coming right up." The boy winked, moving to the opposite side of the bar to mix her drink. Amelia thought she'd feel some kind of regret, but instead she continued to sit there; numb.
The glass was placed in front of her and her hands were reaching for it, as she lifted it to her lips and took a sip, the feeling of the Vodka burning her throat. Memories continuing to flood her mind, only causing her to drink back the drink faster, which only caused the bartender to place another drink in front of her.
-----
Five drinks; she already drank five drinks and at this point she could feel the alcohol in her bloodstream, already making her feel much more calm and more relaxed. The feeling of being drunk again was a good feeling; scary good. Scary to the point where she was worried about slipping again, which is what she already did. She's at a bar, five drinks in, almost onto her sixth with a young male; attractive male sitting beside her making small talk. She already slipped.
She had eight missed calls from Maggie, none from her boyfriend. Her state of mind was making her more and more angry, angry that he hasn't checked in. Sober Amelia would be telling herself, it's not his fault, you said nothing to his proposal. Give him space. But drunk Amelia, is angry, pissed, hurt--- angry that he stopped checking in. He told her he'd check in, he promised her he'd check in but instead he went to his best friend, Jo's house and she hasn't heard from him.
"Where are you headed to after this?" The green eyed boy was moving closer, his eyes trailing down her body as she sat there, body feeling like she was floating.
"Nowhere with you," she answered. "I have a boyfriend." Would Link be still considered her boyfriend even though she never responded to his proposal?
"That's unfortunate," he sighed, pulling his drink up to his lips. "Where's your so-called boyfriend?"
Jo's, is what she wanted to reply but it's not like the boy would know what she was talking about, nor did he even care, he was just wanting her to come home with him. "Just at home."
Her phone was buzzing on the table again, and she was already six drinks in. The memories that had previously filled her head were now gone and all she felt was dizzy. Dizzy, numb--- great. She felt great, amazing. Maggie was calling again and she was about to decline the call before she remembered why she might be calling. Scout.
"Maggie, hey," Amelia answered, trying her best to sound sober. "So sorry, I was asleep." She was hoping that Maggie would believe her, despite her words slurring together.
"Amelia, where are you actually? I just came by the house to drop the kids off and you're not home and I don't know where Link is, are you with him?" Fuck fuck fuck. She's so stupid, stupid for showing up to a bar knowing damn well that she'd have to take care of 4 kids by the end of the night. She had a debate with herself, debating on whether or not she should tell Maggie the truth or lie.
"I was asleep, I had to run to the hospital for a consult," she lied. "I'm on way back." Amelia thought the lie was good, even though she was slurring. But Maggie didn't sound too convinced but she agreed that she'd see Amelia at the house before they both hung up the phone.
One more drink she told herself before she was dialling a cab so that she could get home safely because even though she slipped she can't be responsible for someone else dying.
-----
It was late. Almost one in the morning when Amelia walked through the front door, stumbling is the right word to describe it. She assumed Maggie and the kids would be asleep but she was greeted with Maggie, her arms crossed in front of her chest as she stood up from the couch.
"It has been a long day," Amelia started, so obvious she was drunk. "My bedroom is calling my name."
"Amelia," Maggie said, with so much sadness in her voice. Maggie was far from stupid, she was brilliant, a genius, she could see right through Amelia.
"No questions, just bed." Amelia headed towards the stairs, swinging her bag over her shoulder before Maggie walked up to her, stepping in front of her to stop her from going up the staircase. Maggie made a face, a you smell like vodka face and then she was putting her hands on Amelia's shoulders and pulling her into a hug, a tight hug, so tight that the hug itself almost made Amelia break down into a puddle of tears. A hug is exactly what she needed, especially right now. "I'm sorry..." Were the only words Maggie could form and she just held her. One hand was pressed against the back of Amelia's head while the other was wrapped around her, it never seemed like she was going to let go.
Amelia was dizzy, and she was sad and she could barely stand so she used Maggie to hold herself up. "No," Amelia cried out, a single tear dripping off of her soft eyelashes. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry, I did it again. I'm a mess, I did it again."
"No, no, no," Maggie said, pulling away from Amelia before brushing a single strand of hair out of her face and pushing it behind her ear. "You're not a mess."
Amelia just stared at Maggie, her eyes heavy, her blue eyes drowning in a puddle of tears and Maggie could see the pain in her eyes and it made Maggie sad, she cared about Amelia so much. Before the two could exchange any other words, Scout was crying from his crib upstairs.
"I'll get it," Amelia slurred, dropping her bag to the floor and stumbling backwards as she grabbed onto the railing of the staircase.
"No," Maggie said sternly. "I'll do it, just go lay down, I'll join you after." Maggie helped Amelia up the stairs because honestly--- she thought she was going to fall down, the girl could barely walk.
Amelia was already laying in her bed, the room spinning around her and before she had even a minute to rest, she was running to the bathroom to empty out her stomach into the toilet. Six drinks didn't seem like very many but maybe it is for someone who hadn't had anything to eat because she forgot to and she hasn't had a sip of alcohol in a long time. She was doing so well, dammit.
She wasn't alone for long because while Amelia was gripping onto the toilet bowl, knuckles turning white her hair was being pulled up and out of the way. Maggie was rubbing her back in a comforting way, trying anything that she could to help the girl.
After puking, she stayed sat on the floor, sitting with her back against the wall and the room was still spinning. Maggie slid down the wall to sit beside her, pulling Amelia into her side.
"You're going to be okay," Maggie said, pulling Amelia closer to her and since the room was spinning so fast, she had to rest her head on Maggie's shoulder because she needed to sleep. "We'll start fresh tomorrow."
She closed her eyes, taking deep breaths and even though the alcohol made her feel good, she also felt regret and shame. So much shame. She hated herself, she hated that she did this to herself again.
          She did this to Scout.
And to Link. And to everyone she cares about.
Everyone she's ever lost would be so disappointed in her, she knew they would be because that's what she was. Disappointed in herself.
But maybe she was right, one day at a time and even though she got to this point again, she'll try again tomorrow and hope and pray that she doesn't start spiralling.
The last image in her head before she started to doze off was Derek and her dad, the most important people in her life.

Hi! I saw some of your tags about Steve and Peggy and I remember how angry I felt after Endgame and how it made me reconsider everything about their “relationship” and even Peggy and I was wondering what is your detailed opinion about her/ their relationship? I remember how I used to think she was this incredible female character, but now I realize it was mostly because the mcu lacked good female characters because looking back, there are some very questionable things about her.
Endgame has caused a lot of us to reconsider Peggy and the “relationship” with Steve. I honestly never gave much thought to her. She was in the first movie and then he moved to the future and she was a part of his past who had lived her life. An old friend he could reconnect with. Endgame, however, changed all of that.
Also, I apologize to my followers. This got long.
Peggy Carter is a very questionable, morally gray character. To me, it’s obvious that she held very little interest in Steve other than as a viable candidate for Project Rebirth until he became Chris Evans-sized. The little interest she shows at camp and in the car ride is because he is literally unlike any man she has ever likely encountered, like the guy she punched, who likely always objectified her. Her interest in Steve seems to stem from the fact what he can do for her career. This is a theme that carries on though not just TFA but through Agent Carter as well. The colors she wears in the iconic first season shot of blue dress and red hat, naming the whole organization SHIELD as a nod to Captain America. The rewriting in the radio program of what happened to Bucky suddenly becoming Betty Carver. It’s like a big red arrow saying “I knew Captain America (Captain America, not Steve Rogers). I was his one and only!”.
They don’t talk for months throughout TFA. Literal months. There’s nothing that shows us them getting to know one another, them writing letters, etc. It indicates they haven’t spoken in months by the time he shows up to entertain the troops. My good friend, @cosmicmechanism, did a timeline that shows how very little contact they actually had in the movie. [LINK] He’s off being the showpony, she’s doing whatever it is she is doing. Which is another issue. We are never actually told what they hell she does. Is she an agent for MI-5? Is she a spy? Is she a secretary? We never know, other than for no real reason, how/why she seems to be pulling a paycheck from the US Army and appears in meeting with high ranking army officials when she shouldn’t have been there. Had they kept her the Virginia heiress she is in the comics, her presence in the US Army would have made a little more sense.
The AC tv show presented a lot of problems in trying to elevate Peggy’s importance to Steve. She certainly wasn’t leading the Commandoes and wasn’t anywhere in the field with them, otherwise she would have been shown in the montage in TFA with them and she would have had a prominent part of that exhibit in TWS instead of a brief interview ABOUT STEVE RESCUING HER HUSBAND IN AZZANO.
Anyway, there’s also the way she acts with and around Steve. She stops the safer transport to Azzano to drop him off in a war zone with bombs actually going off around them. There would have been soldiers on the ground tracking Steve’s descent. He would have been easily captured. Then, there’s the red dress trope. The vixen appearing in a scene for no other reason than to seduce the hero from the other person in the scene, whether it’s a friend or other love interest. Even if you don’t ship Stucky, you can still read that scene as the seductress looking to come between two best friends. Plus, there was no reason for her to even come to the bar dressed like that. If she wanted to remind Steve of a meeting, she would have appeared in normal clothes.
And of course, we have the attempted murder scene. This is the scene that made so many, including me, not like Peggy Carter. That scene of Peggy shooting Steve behind is new shield is played for laughs and a moment to make seem badass but it’s toxic, violent, and downright abusive. She acts like she already had a claim on him. He was not hers. They weren’t dating in any way. And yet, her reaction to walking in on a free man kissing another woman was to shot him. In a closed environment with a big metal circle the only thing protecting him. She didn’t know that shield would protect him. She didn’t know those bullets wouldn’t ricochet. She could have easily killed Steve or any person in that room including Stark.
The next major grievance to me that they gloss over the fact that as a director of SHIELD, she would have had a hand in hiring Zola, the same Nazi scientist she knew had captured and tortured Bucky, the best friend of the man she supposedly loved, who she knew was HYDRA. She allowed him to continue his work, likely signed the paychecks that funded his continued experiments. She was a founder. She would have had a say. She would have been a part of that decision. That indicates something darker as well. Based on the fact that we saw Howard Stark call Zola Arnim, shows that they became close to him. And that hints that it is entirely possible that Stark and Carter knew about Bucky or at least the Winter Soldier program, which is human experimentation. That doesn’t look too well on MCU’s golden girl, does it?
If they had allowed her to be the morally grey character and actually showed Steve realizing that HYDRA had corrupted SHIELD from the beginning and she was involved in that, I think a lot of us could have come to terms with the character. It certainly would have been a better story and added layers upon both Steve and Peggy. Instead, they pushed this false ‘love of his life’ narrative and how she made him the mad he was for a woman he had kissed once, talked to maybe 4 times, and a relationship that likely wouldn’t have worked out due to a difference in morals and ethics.
Their relationship is a problem because we are never fully shown them developing that love. We get a few flirty glances, an attempted murder scene, a kiss in the middle of a mission, and a compass with a picture that Steve had obviously cut out himself. They could have had them exchange letters, had her send him a real pic, etc. Anything to show them getting to know each other. Instead, we get him staring at a compass that honestly would have been destroyed in the crash or would have been thrown from the window on impact. It shouldn’t have survived.
I do think you’re right, Anon. I think a lot of us thought she was an amazing, badass character because she was only one of three female main characters at the time. Until we are introduced to survivors Nebula and Gamora, and genius Shuri, and strong, beautiful Okoye and Nakia (true badasses all of them). And let’s face it, Hayley Atwell (a problematic woman in her own right) did a good job pushing Steggy and trying tot elevate Peggy’s importance to Steve as more than it really was and shown to be, also negating the whole reason Steve became Captain America, trying to enlist in the army 6 times and always fighting, and the relationships he had with Bucky and his mother, Sarah, pre-serum.
So I hope you enjoyed this reading! Thanks for the wonderful ask!

United vs Chelsea - Conti Cup Semi Final - 29/01/2020
So the line up and bench for this one was interesting. Aimee Palmer was cup tied for this one, having already lined out for Sheffield United earlier in the season, Ella Toone is currently serving a 3 game suspension following a (questionable) red card vs Spurs, and both Kirsty Hanson and Leah Galton are out injured, which led to a very sparse bench, and pretty much the same XI as vs City. Lauren James started in place of Jane Ross, which was very clearly a good idea.
First half:
This game was a little cagey to start with, but ultimately a lot better than Saturday’s showing vs City. LJ had a decent shot around 6 mins, after some great build work from Groenen.
Abbie’s constant back passes to Earps returned, as did my anxiety. To be honest, Earps never looks completely comfortable to be on the receiving end of back passes so I don’t understand why the majority of that back 4 insist on playing that way so often?
Aside from those back passes, I though Abbie had a really good game. At least until she was forced off injured deep into the second half. She played an absolute stormer from the first whistle, and she was literally everywhere. Had a decent chance to get the first goal too around the 25 minute mark, very unfortunate to have that header go straight at Telford. She really, really redeemed herself after that performance vs City at the weekend.
‘27 - some Wales on Wales crime. Sophie Ingle booked for an almighty challenge on Hayley Ladd. Fair enough, the way Hayley fired herself into Ingle may have made it look more than it was. Entertaining tho. I’m also gonna take this opportunity to confess that I may be a little bit (a lot) in love with Hayley Ladd. I gotta be honest, I didn’t really know much about her before she signed in the summer, but she’s really, really great. I feel like she’s kinda underrated a little bit? Anyway, I genuinely don’t think this girl feels any pressure, like at all. A little bit like LJ I guess. She just gets her head down and does her job - calm and cool 100% of the time. I would very much like her to stay forever. I’m definitely gonna have to start watching more of this Wales team aren’t I?
‘34 - Earps with a cracking save. I feel like she’s more of a shot stopper than anything else, her distribution can be a little off sometimes, but she did really well to deny Chelsea there.
I think James and Arnot linked up quite well last night, especially around the 40 minute mark, unfortunately Lizzie was called just offside. She’s really impressed me (whenever she gets a shot) this season tbh, I hope she manages to get herself in the XI more often from now on.
‘42 - Jess Sigsworth pulling double shifts again. She’s constantly down around that back four, helping out and sometimes doing other people’s jobs for them and I’m kinda terrified that she’s gonna run herself into a brick wall at some stage? Like I think it’s fairly clear that we need to reinforce and add depth and quality defensively but I also think it’s pretty clear that Jess isn’t the answer to that particular problem, as impressive as her drive and her work rate is.
‘43 - United should have been clear and away on the counter there. There was an earlier challenge from Ladd (I’m pretty sure) that the ref took an age to make up her mind on, and by the time she decided to call it back, Groenen (again, I’d have to rewatch to be 100% certain) was up and over the halfway line on the break. Annoying af.
Halftime:
Tbh I thought United did really well to not have conceded and to still be in the game at the half. The first half as a whole was pretty decent, Chelsea ultimately had the better chances and were the slightly stronger team. I just wish we could have taken the few chances we had in the first half and made something from them, Telford isn’t the world’s best keeper and I feel like we could have tested her more and I was kinda disappointed we didn’t.
Second half:
‘47 - a fairly decent (surprisingly. It’s no secret we’re pretty piss poor at set pieces) from Zelem resulted in Amy heading just over, which hurt my soul. (I wanted her to score so bad youse have no idea)
‘52 - Arnot had a decent chance, and was 100% in cause Telford came about 82739 miles off her line, but unfortunately it was cleared away. (Sidenote: I HATE when keepers come off their line and out of their box like that, even opposition keepers. It just really shits me out. Anyway)
‘53 - a decent Chelsea opportunity goes wide. I saw somewhere (twitter probably) that it took a deflection, but I’d have to rewatch to be certain. FA Player get your shit together and upload the game so I can double check challenge 🙄
The game really started to come to life around the 50 minute mark. Both teams had decent chances within about a minute of each other, and United’s intensity really stepped up - they came out guns blazing in the second. Both teams pressing and passing really cleaned up around this time too.
‘61 - decent chance for Sigsworth. Angle was just too tight, but I think the build up was massively overworked. She passed it off the Zelem who held it for a little too long imo, before sending it back to Jess who lashed it into the side netting. Think Jess could have made something of it first time but hey, what’s done is done now.
Game started to get a little scrappy heading into the last 20 mins - back to the rushed and mismatched and intercepted passes of the first half.
‘70 - Chelsea free kick saved well by Earps.
‘71 - Goal - Chelsea. Really tight angle, just about squeezed home. Really good work from Mjelde in hindsight but I feel like Earps could have saved that one. I hate to blame her entirely but she really should have done better with closing that one down.
‘72 - almost an instant response from United. LJ had a fantastic chance to equalise but unfortunately scorched it over the bar. I’m not gonna lie, I expected a little better from her there, but I understand the urgency.
‘73 - pretty soft yellow for Sigsworth
‘74 - Ross 🔁 Arnot.
Seemed like all the wind was sucked out of United after that goal, approaching the 80 minute mark. Most of that intensity and urgency was still kinda there and evident in small bursts, but was mostly lacking.
‘80 - United forced into a change. Harris (don’t talk to me) 🔁 McManus. Abbie took a bit of a blow around 20 minutes in, committing a challenge she was ultimately booked for. Fair play to her, she played through it, but she was definitely struggling for a while there. Apparently she was on crutches after the game, so I hope it’s nothing too serious. Also interested to see what Casey does with that back 4 if she’s out for a while. Amy obviously goes back in and CB but it would appear Martha is higher than Ökvist in the pecking order, which is annoying. I get that Casey is more defensive minded and might not want to play two more attacking FB’s at once (Ökvist & Smith) but Martha... 🤐
Tumblr media
‘84 - James had a great ball in that forced a corner that - you guessed it - nothing came of
‘85 - Earps had a great block to deny Chelsea a second (and really and truly kill me off)
‘88 - Harris decides to try her luck from a little way out. It was a decent shot to be fair, given the circumstances, just couldn’t get the dip it needed and never really troubled Telford on it’s way over the bar.
4 minutes at the end of the 90 but United couldn’t get anything to stick, which was massively unfortunate.
Two semi final defeats in a row is absolutely gut wrenching, and very hard to take, but last night taught me a lot about this team. I personally thought that this game was miles better and such an improvement on Arsenal away last season. They were much better all round, in every position than last weekend vs City. To come so close against the 3 best teams in the league 5 times now and walk away with nothing is hard, and I feel so bad for those girls. They give their all everytime they step out on that pitch, and they deserved more. This week in particular. Seeing them all in literal bits at the final whistle nearly broke me tbh.
But it’s becoming more glaringly apparent as the season goes on that we are in desperate need of a more clinical, stone blood killer up top. I’d also be open to giving Mikalen a run in goal to prove herself - I think Earps has been a bit off lately.
Galton and Hanson were massively missed last night, and I think we could have done with Toone as well, but oh well.
I had my issues with the ref as well last night, I have to say. I thought she handled the knocks and (most of) the bookings correctly, as well as the penalty shout (which was not a penalty, sorry Jess) but she missed a clear foul on Jackie (59 mins) as well as a clear tug on Arnot (64 mins) in the second half. I also thought LJ was very lucky to get away with just a yellow for her foul on Ingle at the end of the first half, looked a little more like a red to me 😬
Hopefully Galton will be back for Sunday - she absolutely tore Reading to shreds the last time out and I would very much like to see more of that 🔥, but I’m kinda worried about that midfield trio too. The last thing we need is three defeats on the bounce, but they must be dyinggg cause they literally never, ever stop.
I know this one is a little later than usual and the format is slightly different too, but I was watching the men (for some reason) as well, and it was kinda hard to keep track of two games at once lol. Plus I just wasn’t really in the mood to try and to this last night. Also - if anyone has critiques or corrections or questions about my opinions or anything else pls don’t hesitate to drop them in my ask and I’ll edit things and answer whatever as best as I can ✌🏽

He’ll Never Love You Like Me- Ben Hardy
‘A lil something with Ben hardy and the songs He'll never love you/Curious by Hayley Kiyoko’
Summary: After a year of hell trying to get over his ex, Ben decides he’s sick of living without her, but unfortunately, she’s with somebody else.
Word Count: 1662
Part 1 of 3.
A/N Written in third person as I thought it was the best way to capture the entire situation.
Let me know what ya’ll think :)
Tumblr media
------------------
Him
Ben had been anticipating Summer the entire year. He was desperate to feel the sun on his skin, heat through his veins, alcohol in his system from long days of drinking with his mates.
Ben had been anticipating Summer though, for reasons much more than those superficial things everybody in England was craving. He was anticipating the memories of last Summer, and the one before that and the one before that. In fact, a few Summer's it had been that he had spent with her; three to be exact. He was anticipating the pure heartbreak he was going to feel all over again when all he could think about was her and what they did every Summer, just like he did with every holiday, special event and birthday that had passed the year just gone. But then again, that was nothing new, he always thought about her.
Summer though, would hurt him more than everything else that had happened without her. Last Summer was the last good time they had together before she told him she couldn't do it anymore.
"What do you mean 'you can't do it anymore?'" he had asked her frantically in the middle of the kitchen in the flat they had shared together for two years.
Her beautiful face was screwed up, he could see the thoughts flying through her mind, searching through the mess in it to try and come up with answer for him. But she couldn't and she didn't. Instead she just shook her head in sorrow, grabbed a suitcase she had packed while he was away filming and walked out of the apartment and out of his life.
Ben never cried, or at least he never had in the presence of other people. But over the week that she left, he cried in front of anybody that was around him. She had literally taken his heart out of his chest and thrown it recklessly on the ground like it was a piece of chewing gum that had lost it's taste. And he supposed he had lost his taste in her mouth. He just didn't know why.
He had just started filming 'Bohemian Rhapsody' when she left. Only a few weeks into his new gig, he couldn't believe she would do it to him, she knew how much that role had meant to him.
The cast and crew had only met her a few times and other than the fact that she had left with no real explanation, no one had any bad words to say about her. She was delightful, it was the truth.
He hated her so fucking much for what she had done to him but he loved her so much more.
Rounding out the year, he was used to living without her. It was his apartment that she had walked out of, although she lived there, it was technically his. And once her best friend had come round and collected any things she had left behind, he was free to begin moving on.
So move on he did. The attention he started receiving from females (and males) all around the world once the movie was out made it very easy for him to lose himself between some gorgeous girls legs. And it was easy for a while until it wasn't.
He'd been drinking more this past year, it was what helped him get through every day. Whiskey wasn't his thing, he was more of a vodka guy.
It happened one night when he was cuddled on some girls couch, Sophia was her name...maybe Sarah...whatever. She was kissing his neck, trying for round two but he was distracted and bored. She tried climbing onto his lap, knocking his phone out of his hand in the process. He told her he was tired, leaning to grab his phone from the floor only to see it open to his messages with her.
What the fuck?
He hadn't spoken to her in a year, why would their conversations even be high enough in his text messages to be selected?
The girl was trying desperately to bring his attention back to her but it was a lost cause now. She begged him to sit back down once he stood up, his phone still in his hand. Disbelief.
"I uh, sorry, I gotta go." He locked his phone, grabbed his jacket and abandoned ship.
Once he was home he laid on the couch and read and read and read. He felt himself falling back into his old frame of mind those few months after she left. He knew it wasn't good for his mental health yet he couldn't stop himself.
He got up off the couch, the clock hanging in the living room, the vintage one she had found at a market they went to one Sunday, it read 2:13am.
"Fucking hell," he sighed at yet another memory. Pouring himself a shot of vodka, then another smaller one, he threw them back and meandered to his bedroom.
He'd gotten a new bed since she'd been gone. He couldn't bare the thought of sleeping in the same one they had made love in more times than he even had the brain capacity to remember. He also couldn't bare having any of these girls he'd met lying where she used to. The thought alone made him sick. He remembered the way she would lay on his bare chest after they'd had sex and play with his fingertips, biting her lip.
As he lay in bed, his phone on charge at only 2% forcing him to leave it alone, he wondered if she was with anyone. Who was loving her now? Who was making her feel the way he used to make her feel? Who got to be on the receiving end of the smile she gave that always lit up a room?
He wondered if he would be leaving marks on her neck the way he used to. If he thought it was as entertaining as he did to watch her frantically trying to cover them up with her makeup before she went off to the job she didn't like all that much.
He wondered if she'd finally left that job.
But he mostly wondered how he was going to get her back.
Her
She normally loved watching television. The Real Housewives, Ellen, NCIS, bring it all on. But lately, lately she found herself shying further away from it.
Her boyfriend had asked her why. "We never just chill out on the couch watching telly anymore," he had said one afternoon when she decided to clean out her wardrobe instead of watching a movie.
"Don't really feel like it," she had replied. It was the truth, she wasn't lying.
She didn't really feel like watching television where every ad break there was a promo for her ex boyfriend's blockbuster movie. She didn't really feel like wanting to cry every time his handsome face came onto her screen. She didn't really feel like explaining all of this to her current boyfriend. Her current boyfriend who she was meant to love, but sorta, kinda, didn't. No, not really.
She'd experienced love and she knew what it felt like.
Her heart rate would quicken the second her eyes laid on him.
Her breath would hitch when he would speak to her.
She would miss him the second he was gone.
She felt none of these things when she was with this new guy. Sure, he was nice and he was very good looking. But he didn't make her sweat, giggle with excitement or send shivers down her spine.
It was different with this guy. When she looked at him, he'd be looking out the window. When she looked at Ben, he was already watching her; his eyes were always on her whenever she was around him.
She wanted him back and she had for a while now. But she was stuck in a relationship she didn't really want to be in. One she kind of fell in like you would when walking through a puddle and finding it to be deeper than you first thought. It'd been four months now that she'd been with him, she had no idea how she'd let the time go by so quickly.
She missed so much about Ben. His laugh, the way he would hold her, make her feel, kiss her, fuck her. Softly when she wanted, holding her like she would break in his arms. Hard, when she would beg or when the mood would strike them both.
She hadn't had good sex in a year.
Laying in bed one night, her boyfriend snoring loudly beside her, she couldn't sleep so she wandered downstairs. He stayed over most nights and she hated it because she barely got any sleep. She was used to functioning on five hours every night now.
She checked the time on her phone in her hand. 2:13am.
She couldn't stop thinking about Ben. He had been on her mind so much more than usual lately. Her heart hurt to think too much into what actually happened when they broke up. It hurt to think of where they would be now if they hadn't.
She hadn't told him she'd found the Tiffany's box in his underwear drawer.
She hadn't told him that was why she left.
She wasn't ready to marry him. She loved him, that wasn't a question. But marriage, that was a huge step and she wasn't even sure she had even wanted to ever get married. To anyone.
Turning on the television, lowering the volume to five, she started blankly at the infomercials playing and watched the time click over on her phone. She found herself re-reading her messages with Ben. It was impossible to read all of them because there were thousands over the three years they had spent together.
It was the vibration in her hand that startled her, the curser in the messages that moved right back to the top. A message from Ben.
'He'll never love you like me."

Sum Cannon Stuff About Lavender cause turns out I haven't told yall shit about her yet lol
She experiments with her powers all the time.
She doesn't really have a consistent color aesthetic, she'll wear whatever.
Her singing voice sounds like a mixture of Barrett Wilbert Weed from Mean Girls on Broadway, Demi Lovato, and Hayley Williams from Paramore.
She plays ukulele, and mostly plays it for fun when she's bored.
Her hair retains some magical properties in it. Even thought it doesn't matter how long or short it is, as long as it rests atop the head, it keeps the same amount of magic in the strands. It retains "gentler" magic and when she either trims or cuts it, she saves it for making medicines and healing type things, and she can also make caffeine shots out of it too. Arthur is not allowed to ask her for it lol. She can also make clothes and things like that out of her hair. It's kinda time consuming but she'll usually do it anyway.
She is THE MOST touch starved/affection starved child you will probably meet. If you're gonna give her a hug, you better be prepared to stay there for a while. If she wants to show you affection, then you must return it or she'll be heartbroken. If she says I love you to anyone, she means it and will probably kill people for you. If she gives you little pecks on your forehead, you are family now whether you like it or not.
She is the literal personification of "looks like a cinnamon roll and is a cinnamon roll, but could also kill you if she wanted to"
She is a good liar. Like, REALLY GOOD. She doesn't do it very often because then she'll feel guilty, but when she has to, she's really good at it. It's almost impressive.
She lives in Lewis' mansion and since she doesn't phisically go to school, she usually goes to the education dimension (as she calls it) and that's where she gets her daily education from until she goes to real school.
She'll sometimes ask Lewis about his life before he died, but doesn't do it too often cause she doesn't want to make him sad or anything.
She has her own room and decorated it with a pink aesthetic and definitely has a bulletin board with little ideas for spells and stuff like that.
Her bed is rarely used for anything other than sleeping or relaxing because she's always wandering around the house.
Her bed is also the home of her plushies. She only has 2 but they mean a lot to her.
Her flower is a pink azalea OwO.
Also, she has shiromori's plant clippers in the back of her closet and she keeps it as a novelty weapon.
Has very strong magical powers
Is 14
Her hair grows a little fast, so it only stays short for a few months before it starts to reach her back, so she just keeps it nice and long. But she does like it long like that.
Personally voiced by myself lol
She sings!!! She's still improving, tho
When her emotions are extremely strong, her eyes change color a little bit. Example: Super sad, eyes tint blue.
Her most used "spell" is copying and pasting things. It's not exactly legal sometimes, but she'll do it anyway.
She's Demi romantic/asexual
She's all for platonic and familial love. It's one of her favorite things in the world.
Loves peaches. Best fruit of all time, don't @ her.
The gang has cute nicknames for her. They'll call her either Peaches, Lavie, or plain sweetie. Lavender loves it.
She loves all fluffy animals.
When she first stayed with the gang, she didn't laugh in front of them for the longest time. But the moment she did, it was like her chains were finally broken.
It was the first time the gang had seen her laugh, and it was and still is one of their favorite memories together.
Since she is human, she can get hurt/sick, but not as easily since her magic makes her immune to some poisons and sicknesses and she can tolerate some heavier pains.
She can fist fight God. And win.

__________
A year later
Toronto
Caroline and Bonnie looked for Elena as they got through the arrivals and seeing her friend they waved at her, hurrying to the brunette and they nearly went into a girly screaming frenzy as they did a group hug.
"How was your flight?"- Elena inquired her friends as they were walking on towards the exit.
"Fine. Now- what’s this message about you and Enzo? Can’t believe you two got together again"- Caroline kicked right in- "does that mean you are over HIM??"-
by HIM, Caroline, of course meant Elijah. In one of their many conversations over the phone, Elena asked Caroline and Bonnie not to mention Elijah to her and what he was doing - treating it as if he never existed.
"Who?"- Elena said but she could not hide the flicker of sadness and pain in her eyes as she knew who Caroline was referring to.
Bonnie just sighed, shaking her head a bit.
"Lena- wow- seriously- Oh!-"- Caroline just gasped, but Elena knew what she meant.
"I am undead"- Elena then said- "at least that is how I feel. You can say his name- I say his name- Elijah- and- my heart is not responding. I am slowly forgetting- "
"Oh, really? Could have fooled me!"- Caroline went on- "I know what it is- I had that with Tyler- it's like someone stuck a particle of magic evil ice in your heart- like from the story about the Snow Queen- remember- the school play-"Caroline remembered the fairy tale Snow Queen by Hans Christian Andersen.
"Yeah- and Gerda melted Kai's frozen heart "- Bonnie remembered the story.
"You are like the Snow Queen has done it to you!"- Caroline now said.
"Didn't we start talking about Enzo and me - kind of getting together- not that we ever had anything except that one night stand?"- Elena then cut to the beginning of the conversation.
“Ok. I want to know detail. How? When? Where?”- Caroline said-”didn’t see this one coming.”
“I am surprised he didn’t say anything to Damon.”- Bonnie said.
“Because - we both, took it slow and didn’t really want to say anything -”- Elena explained. It’s still kind of - just a fun thing. Nothing serious. Feels good!”
"Feels good?"- Caroline then uttered and thought- "feels good not to feel" - and she knew her friend was maybe in some kind of transition period. Maybe it was a way forward. Maybe it was not. She, herself had done it with Klaus.
"Hey- this is where I am at now"- Elena then added and continued- "you are hiding something, I can tell!"
"Me? Nothing really"- Caroline acted all innocently.
"Care, spill!"- Elena urged her now and looked at Bonnie, who was mimicking with her eyes to press Caroline for an answer.
Caroline knew there's no avoiding it- and how could she- Elena was her best friend and she would tell her everything about herself and so she spilled-
"Klaus asked me to move in with him!"
"Whoa!"- Elena exclaimed and looked at her friend wide-eyed, but glistening with happiness.
"And I said yes!!"- Caroline said- "next weekend is the great move!!"
"When did this get so serious?"- Elena remarked.
"You know when Bonnie and I said we are going to Hawaii - well, yeah- Klaus went, too- with Kol and Bekah. We stayed on for another week just us- I just- with the whole Elijah thing and you- really - ugh- I just didn't want talk about it - didn’t want things to be awkward."- Caroline tried to explain why she kept the full expose of her and Klaus' bliss.
"OMG, Care- if you are happy I am happy for you!! I thought we had a pact!?"- Elena now said.
"I know- it's crazy - you are right!"- Caroline felt relieved.
Elena would lie if she denied that her soul was in peaceful equilibrium talking about the Mikaelsons. She now swayed to another subject of Caroline's redecoration plans, as she knew she would want to change things around Klaus bachelor pad. This now involved Bonnie as she was managing the designs.
There was actually much more grimmer news, but Caroline could not break to her friend and kept it quiet.

In New York
Elijah was going through the papers familirizing himself with a new case.
Rebekah walked in and straight from the door scolded him for having found him working-
"You know that it is not ok keeping Davina still here at this hour?!"
"What hour?"- Elijah said not picking his head up continuing to read the notes.
"It's 8 p.m. We had dinner at 7! Why is your phone on silent??"- Rebekah went on.
Elijah now looked at his sister-
"I am working. I have sent messages that would not make it!"
"It's like all you do lately is work work work- I know you are sad and it's not easy losing-"
"Don't say it!!"- Elijah now got up and if he was a vampire he would have showed his fangs out to her.
Rebekah took a breath. She knew that he would hide like a snail back in his own little house when his soul was filled with tremendous pain as it was in this case.
"Elijah- this was not your fault. None of it"- Rebekah said.
"Right. I have not done anything. But - you don't know"- Elijah now lowered his voice and said his eyes watering- " just leave me be. Please."
" I am sorry- I didn't want to be insensitive. We thought you could do with some time with us- cause all you do is work and go to sleep and work- and yes- I don't know how you feel- I miss her too- Hayley and I were friends- and whatever I say would be wrong-" Rebekah said calmly.
"You don't know-"- Elijah said again.
"What is that I don't know, Elijah-?? Hayley didn't tell any one of us that she had this diagnosis! This was not your fault!"
"No, it's not my fault! But why is it that I feel like shit! What kind of a husband doesn't know that his wife is sick?? She never talked to me about this stuff! I should have known! Shall I tell you what kind of a husband  I am!? A shitty one! A shitty one!!!!"- Elijah now shouted completely losing his cool.
"Ok- please- I am sorry- I didn't want to upset you!"- Rebekah now walked over to Elijah, who now tossed away the papers and files from his desk breaking down in tears. Rebekah froze for a second and then enveloped him in her embrace as he sobbed his soul out.
" I am not a good man- I am not a good man!!!"- he cried.
"You are, Elijah! You are-"- Rebekah held him tight wishing she could take all of his pain away. _____
Three years fast forward
Sadness after losing someone dear is one of so many emotions that is lingering but in time the fondest and happiest memories take over and the heart finds its breath again.
Elijah put flowers on Hayley’ grave.
"I am so sorry that it took me such a long time to come here. I wrestled with so much, but mostly with this feeling of guilt"- he said and took a pause looking up in the skies and then back at the tombstone and continued-"I should have done things differently-  neither you or me were truthful to one another - and I don't really know who we really were- I didn't really know you, did I?"
He stayed a while longer silently making his own peace with the tremendous mix of different feelings that were attached to her, him and her death.
***** In Toronto
Elena's life had changed as well. A lot. Her life was work, but she had continued to see Enzo. And it had brought a new addition in her life - a baby girl, whom she called Jen after her aunt. Enzo was immediately wrapped up in his daughter. Elena loved being a mom. She felt it was a blessing of a special kind. Everything seemed to be right as rain. Except that she evaded getting married.
"It's not that I don't love you, we are good together - the three of us!"- she said to Enzo as he mentioned the M word.
"Someone must have hurt you so bad, that you have closed your heart forever"- he said.
Getting married just because of Jen would not be right. You know what you mean to me, but"- Elena started and Enzo finished for her-"I know- you are not in love with me!
"Elena sighed-"Please, let's not spoil what we got"
"I love you- but I guess, someone else has taken your heart and-I get it! You could never let go. Not really."- Enzo said- “I want more and you will never give me that- and I just - can’t go on like this”
“I’m sorry”- Elena sighed, tearing up-”I am really sorry.”
“It’s ok- I - not really, but - yeah- Ok. I’ll see you”
Elena hated hurting Enzo, as he was a good guy. They came to an agreement soon after that they would always share the parenting duties, but whatever their relationship was - it was over. Months floated away in what seemed a new course for her, Caroline, Klaus and even Elijah. And Caroline had the biggest thing happening in her life centering everyone's lives around her.
___
Elena put her two year-old daughter Jen to sleep. "Sweet dreams" - Elena whispered blowing a little kiss before she moved away from the girl's bed.She then went to the living room checking her phone. They were loads of messages from Caroline about her wedding planning agenda.
"Call me asap"- was the last one.Elena smiled and now pressed the speed-dial.
"Seriously, Lena- everything is going wrong- I will fire her as well"- Caroline shot before Elena could say anything.
"This would be the third wedding planner you would fire, do you know that?!"- Elena tried to be the voice of reason and calm."I should have done this all by myself"- Caroline continued in her stressy tone.
"You definitely should have taken six months off and do it yourself- I told you that!"- Elena reminded her friend.
"OMG- I can't believe that no one can organize a simple wedding?!"- Caroline moaned. "SImple??!!"- Elena had to react to the word that was a paradox since Caroline never did anything simple.
"I wish I could have you here-"- Caroline then said lowering her tone."I can't fly out- there is so much work- and Jen-"- Elena said.
"I know- I will send you all the notes and pics and the last three dresses- I probably will choose the Carolina Herrera one"- Caroline said."Send it now"- Elena said. And they continued exchanging opinions about the wedding and Caroline's input.
******
An hour later, In Toronto Elena poured herself a glass of red wine, as she put her daughter to sleep and as she went through some photos of her friends and her, she also found one with her and Elijah from the office.
At the same time in New York, Elijah, took a sip of beer and took a photo from a pile
Tumblr media
Elena’s flashback
Elena opened the door for her friend saying-" Come in"
Caroline walked in the apartment seeing three suitcases packed and ready in the hallway-
"What is this? Where are you going?"-she asked-”Bonnie called me from her honeymoon - and she is like - stop her from leaving!”
Elena sighed a little and said-
"I am leaving!"
"Leaving? Why- where are you going??" - Caroline just looked astounded.
They walked in the living room-
"I just can't go on- huh, I am in love with him. I tried not to feel what I am feeling, but it's not going away!"- Elena poured her heart out finally, having kept it all inside of her for more than a year.
"So why did you break up with Jackson I know it was a rebound, but it's clearly"
Elena now cut in blurting out-
"It's not Jackson?!!"
"Who then?"- Caroline uttered, her eyes widened in astonishment.
"Elijah! It's Elijah!!"
"Wow! Seriously, but he - oh- is getting married-"
"Really?!!"- Elena said, her eyes watered-" you see, how wrong this is!??"
"Huh, Elena. I don't know what to say!"- Caroline wished that she had wand of some kind and make her friends heartache disappear.
"I can't look at him everyday at work. The way he is -sweet, clever, charming, sexy. So, I went to Will and accepted his offer."
"OMG- You accepted Toronto??"- Caroline concluded.
Elena nodded taking a deep breath and then turned away as if she was compelled  collecting herself looking at her friend as if all her memories were erased.
"Elena- this is crazy!!"-Caroline now protested about Elena shifting her mood like that.
"Everything new will help me get it out of my heart. Change is always good!"
"It's really that bad?! I don't get it- you never ever said anything. "-Caroline said.
"It's worse than bad. It's like I can't breath- and I need to breath again! -Elena said, tears welling up again in her eyes again.
"You are not telling me everything!"- Caroline couldn't believe her friend would keep such emotions from her and make crazy sudden decisions without telling her .
"I can't-"- Elena then said and it was obvious that something was going on and she kept it to herself.
"So you will just shut down?!"- Caroline said.
"Please- I just want to forget everything."- Elena said and looked at the clock.
Caroline reluctantly let go, although it was not in her nature to do so.
"I will come to Toronto and - oh- come here-"
The two women now hugged.
"This is not a goodbye!"- Elena said.
"Of course not- I am so visiting you! "- Caroline said.
Elena saw her to the door and as Caroline left she looked around to see if she had forgotten to pack something. She opened a drawer and saw a book she had forgotten about-"Interview with a Vampire"
She took the book out and saw that something stuck in it. She opened it and there was a photo of her and Elijah from a office party.
Elena and Elijah’s Flashback at the same time
Elijah knocked at Elena's office walking in-
"There is a rumor that you are leaving and that you have accepted Maxwell's offer!"- he said.
"Yeah"-Elena gulped a bit seeing him trying to hold it together-"ready to fly!"- Elena answered trying to hold her breath gulping a bit hoping he could not hear her heart jump.
Open up next to you and my secrets become your truth And the distance between that was sheltering me comes in full view Hang my head, break my heart built from all I have torn apart And my burden to bear is a love I can't carry anymore
All I have, all I need, he's the air I would kill to breathe Holds my love in his hands...
And they are both silent for a moment as if there was a truth both denied.
"I hope you weren't going to escape without paying us round at the Mystic Grill?"- he then said.
"I was hoping I would avoid all the goodbyes and skip town-"- Elena tried to joke now just to steady herself. Elijah said something more, but Klaus got into the office needing to consult her on a case and Elijah then just waved off and left.
"Later"- rang in Elena's ears all day long afterwards.
******
Now, Elena looked at the photo again and slid it in the book, she was reading, taking a sip of the wine, and walked to the window gazing out in the night.
In New York, Elijah, got out on the balcony, the cold air hitting his burning face.
Elena and Elijah’s Flashback at the same time
"Elijah?"- Elena looked at her colleague and friend surprised to see him come to the roof top of the firm they were working for.
"Yes- it's me Elijah!"- he joked a bit as he approached her-"thank you!"
"What for?"- she didn't understand what it was he was thanking her-
"If it wasn't for your clever input- we wouldn't have won the case!!"
Elena now remembered what it was about and let a jubilant yay out- hugging him.
How and in what moment they got  nearly into a kiss- it was strange milliseconds- and then they moved away from one another as if  some crazy magic swept them over. They both just looked  somewhat awkwardly without saying anything like the kiss was something forbidden. That was that.

Because yes
1. Your first OC ever?
I would say Queen Mana, my self insert alicorn pony princess, but in all honesty I'd say my Littlest Pet Shop toys from 3rd grade that I gave each a persona or my mouse character "Licky" and his sister "Lucky". Yeah Licky had quite the unfortunate name. As for my LPS toys, I'm not sure which was my FIRST among all of them, but I do know the first ones were Trevor and Erica! They were a happy married couple~
2. Do you have a personal favourite among your OCs?
Ooh, I gotta say I have one for each story. Though among all of them? I HAVE to go with Cobalt Zaffre from DOTS: DD. Honestly my fave out of the DOTS peeps, I love his design (thanks Raven), her persona, his character arc, god I love this dickhead
3. Have you ever adopted a character or gotten a character from someone else?
Honesty no? I did base Rose off of a friend's OC, but that was years ago and she's more original now.
4. A character you rarely talk about?
I gotta say Agent Silver and Agent Neon from MAR, mostly since I've been pretty dry with MAR ideas and have near no hope to revamping them both from their 5th grade counterparts. That and the protag of D.exe, since I'm revamping them too. Pretty much any character I've planned on revamping but haven't really gotten to yet...
5. If you could make only one of your OCs popular/known, who would it be?
COBALT ZAFFRE. I honestly feel like he's worth the fame, though I'm probably biased-
6. Two OCs of yours that look alike despite not being related?
Yang and Tig! When designing one of them into DOTS, I created Yang with Tig's original palette concepts of 2016 with no intentions of bringing Tig into the story yet. Though that changed, and I brought Tig into DOTS: DD and got too attatched to their palettes to change them. I have thought of changing Yang's design, but I got too attached so Tig and Yang just so happen to share the same hair and skin tone.
7. Are your OCs part of any story or stories?
The real question is who ISN'T apart of any story? I get too attached to OCs easily so I'd either need to make a story or put them into a story! I did have a void character for a week named Benvolio, though I found him a place in "Dragon Destiny"
8. Do you RP as any of your OCs? If you do, introduce one of your RP OCs here!
I've never actually roleplayed before! I have thought of opening an askblog for Turquoise Sky from DOTS: DD, though I've lost most motivation for continuing it
9. Would you ever be willing to give any of your OCs to someone else?
I'm too attached to my babies!
But in all honesty my brain makes so many character concepts that I could legit probably sell them at this point for the characters I REALLY don't need.
10. Introduce an OC with a complicated design?
I don't have a picture of her on-hand, but the first that comes to mind is Nio from Chrisis! Mostly due to her rainbow sleeves and cards...
A close second is Iris from the DOTSverse, though it's honestly just due to her hair being a gradient AND layer mode at the same time.
I'm sure there's more though, I can never keeo track of them all!
11. Is there any OC of yours you could describe as a “cinnamon roll”?
Rose Morganite from DOTS: DD and Nimbus Fulmen from AuAg! Both are sorta naive kids who don't know what's going in too well...
My other kid OC is basically Ed Elric except with Queen Moon's look-
12. Name an OC that isn’t yours but who you like a lot
fuck it i'm calling them out @ravenwolfie97
I REALLY LIKE SKYLAR BINCH
13. Do you have any troublemaker OCs?
Tig is sorta on the border between troublemaker and full-blown villain. Though my new OC Roman Rho from Dragon Destiny seems to fit that description? Others include Kaiser and Shadow from Last Light, Aquamarine from SOTGC, the entire cast of Sky Games, Viobalt and Charoite from Chrisis, Ater from the DOTSverse (somewhat), Ala Blaster from DOTS: SF, Reed from ROP, Akumu from D.exe, Mika from ZP, and... yeah I hope that's all of them
14. Introduce an OC with a tragic backstory
Cobalt Zaffre from DOTS has a pretty angsty backstory so far, though I can't spoil that right now. Iris actually has a sad story too, but I can't spoil that either. Have some runner ups!
- Bluebot (Beyond Repair) Bluebot is the only android that is utterly seen as useless by Eris, the main AI
- Storm Gray (Dragon Destiny) Storm was treated more as an experiment than child by the scientist who made him, having him be bullied by his scientist's son, Roman
- Ventus Fulmen (AuAg) while he isn't a full blown "angst son", Ventus got into prison thinking his girlfriend was shot dead by soldiers
- Viobalt (Chrisis) Viobalt is trying to strive beyond the void since his own universe was erased from existence by the creator
- Pretty much all the Darksiders in Last Light. Each Darksider succumbed to a dark, deep form of Despair, which caused them to turn into monsterous beings seeking revenge, acceptance, pain, or freedom
- The Squire (A Story Told) The Squire lost his kingdom to an evil king, and wants to try and get it back
Those are the ones from the top of my head!
15. Do you like to talk about your OCs with other people?
Oh honey I could talk about my OCs all year
16. Which one of your OCs would be the best at biology (school subject)?
I'm gonna say the scientists in Dragon Destiny, since out of the two other brands of scientists in my story (D.exe and BR), the DraDes scientists had to deal with organic matter way more in order to create the dragons. Vincent from D.exe is a close second, though he's more of a specifically neuroscientist than biologist
17. Any OC OTPs?
- Storm x Orlene in DraDes
- Cobalt x Ruri in DOTS: DD (and by extension, DOTS: SF)
- Ruby x Blaze in DOTS: DD
- Yin x Tigerlily in DOTS: DD
- Yang x Vio in DOTS: DD
- Ventus x Vepris in AuAg
- Momo x Ringo in PSG!
- Alpha x Zetto in DOTS: 5x5
- Iris x Alba in DOTS: 5x5
18. Any OC crackships?
- Cobalt x Yang in DOTS: DD. The two palabros honestly are hilarious together as a hugely dumb couple
- Reed from ROP x Zetto from DOTS: 5x5. This is a REALLY odd one, but one time I had a dream that created a new OC that looked like a fusion between the two with a dark blue color scheme. So of course I joked about them having a son, though it's extra funny when Zetto is just a humanoid snorlax made of pure light and eats flowers, and Reed is an energetic anime prince protag boy who's... well, not made of light. And of course, some crossover ships are absolutely hilarious
But my favorite:
- Turquoise x Cobalt in DOTS: DD. Gotta get that good ol fashion Oncest 👍
19. Introduce an OC that means a lot to you (and explain why)
All the Chrises tbh, but especially Cobalt in particular. Cobalt (and by extension, the other Chrises) is based off of the guy who inspired me to continue making stories and OCs, and I can never thank him enough for helping me find that spark that gave me a purpose. Cobalt's everything to me, a coping character and a tribute to the man who inspired me to be this creative. I created the other Chrises because I want the creativity that the guy gave me to be a symbol of all my stories, and a tribute to the man himself. Cobalt as I've developed him has represented all the things that remind me of the guy, so he's the closest to him but also with my own twists I adore so I can't help but love him so much! Cobalt, out of all the Chrises, represents the man who's inspired me to be a creator to this extent the most, so he means so much to me. The other Chrises are a VERY close second, since they represent him in various ways too that is both a tribute to him and a symbol of me, though Cobalt represents him the most.
20. Do any of your OCs sing? If they sing, care to share more details (headcanon voice, what kind of songs they like etc)?
HA! EASY! The Zero Percent crew 100% (pun intended)
Robin I can see sounding probably like a mix of the singer from Set It Off (Sorry I don't know his name!), Natewantstobattle, and I think Billie Joe Armstrong/Gerard Way?? There's so many good voices crie-
He likes rock music tho! He's in a band so that's a given but... yeah.
Elliot is a newer OC from the same story, but not from Robin's band! He's a lone singer cause I wanted a singer OC who sounded like Adam Lambert-
Outside ZP, I had the headcanon that Yang from DOTS: DD had an embarassing rap phase in high school. Ash Embers from the same story was also in a band, though it disbanded as soon as it was made ;n; I'm not sure if she was the vocalist though? Def rockstar, though. Cobalt I can see having a good singing voice since I've really liked Chris Niosi's singing (sing more Chris ;o;), and Ruri too since her voice claim is Rose Quartz from SU! Not sure on their genres, though... Other punk rockers include Ruby, I have been thinking her voice claim changing to Hayley Williams? Not sure, though...
Lastly, The Bard in A Story Told. She plays medieval music, though it's not particularly good since she'e pretty much a drunken bard who gets around by riding her horse backwards.
Anyway that's 20 questions, hope you 5 peeps enjoyed it, ehehe-

Only Forever (Part 1)
Story # 2 of the night!!! So I’ll preface this by saying that writing about this video is something that I’ve wanted to do for a very long time. Just didn’t really know how to do it or where to go with it, but I have a pretty good idea so I’m going to run with it. There is a 2-3 min video on youtube of paparazzi talking to Val and Sharna where he mentions the bikini picture of her in hawaii. If you haven’t seen the video, I think it’s a must watch for this story (and in general for a chmergess shipper) so I’m going to copy the link! The first chapter is going to stem around that! Also, the story is going to start out with it seeming like it’s going to be about Sharna and Artem, but I promise it’s not! Enjoy! Let me know what you think!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hJVtib2pwn8&t=78s
“Red Velvet! Red Velvet! Red Velvet!” The crowd was cheering as they danced together, screaming their ship name, along with their individual names. The energy in the room was intense so made everything come across as much more intense. The show had gone great, but everyone was super tired so after briefly stopping at the buses they all went on the bus and started a movie. Sharna sat next to Artem who had his arm up on the ledge that was behind her. He tapped her on the shoulder and whispered to her, “You know what one of the fans just asked me outside?”
“Why we dont date each other?”
“How’d you know?”
“They asked me the same thing.” Sharna patted his leg and laughed as he threw his head back and shook his head. “So what’d did you say?” He asked her.
“I said that we’ve been friends for a long time and it wouldn’t be worth ruining that.”
“You think it would be ruining what we have?”
Sharna turned more into him realizing that it seemed as if Artem’s feelings on the situation were changing, “Artem, I know it would be ruining what we have.”
“You don’t know that. We can try.”
“I do know that. I do.”
“How? Tell how you would possibly know that?”
“Because-” She lowered her voice even further. “Because I’ve had it happen before.”
“With who? What do you mean?”
“Ok, if I tell you something, you have to promise that you will not tell as soul.”
“Cross my heart.”
Sharna looked down in her lap and then up at him, “I used to have a thing with Val”
“What?” Artem yelled out. Everyone on the bus looked at them, “Sorry” He said lower and then turned back to Sharna. “You’re kidding.”
“I’m not.”
“Well you didn’t ruin anything. You and Val are still best friends.”
“I mean, I guess. But, it’s different. It’s not so much that it ruined our friendship for the two of us together, but more so that it changed our chemistry when either of us are in a relationship. Because we’re not technically exes but when we have others it certainly feels like we are and that we shouldn’t talk to each other. It affected us that way.”
“But Val’s with Jenna now, and she doesn’t treat you weird-” Artem took note of Sharna’s reaction, “She doesn’t know? Does she?”
Sharna shook her head slowly. “Oh my god. Sharna.” Artem covered his mouth.
“Me and Val talked about it but we decided that it would just hurt her more to know. And then we can act like our normal selves with each other.”
Artem was quiet, “I’m sorry. This is just a lot to take in.”
“You promised you wouldn’t tell anyone.”
“And I won’t.”
Sharna turned away from him thinking that the conversation was over but then she heard him talk again, “How did that happen?”
She turned to him and slid in closer so she wouldn’t have to whisper as loudly, “You really want to know all the details?”
“Got nothing better to do.”
During season 19 of Dancing with the Stars, the dancers had all decided they were going to go out to celebrate one of their shows. They all went to mixology-Maks and Peta, Derek and Hayley, Emma and Sasha, Artem and Tori, Lindsay and Sam, and Witney and Carson. Sharna and Val had been invited but were the only two who weren’t in a relationship as the other single dancers already had plans for the night. Serge had tagged along but mostly stayed with Maks and Peta. They had bought a table for the night so some were sitting in the booth while others were dancing. Drinks came one after another after another.
“So there was this one point, where mostly everyone was on the dancefloor-I think you and Tori had left- and It was just me and Val sitting in the booth. We were playing a game, taking a shot everytime we didn’t want to answer a personal question about our past relationships. So as you can imagine, we got buzzed pretty fast.”
“Ok, so what was wrong with Paul? Thought you were going to marry him.” Val poured another shot from the bottle of tequila.
She looked at him knowingly, and lifted the shot glass, raising it in the air and throwing it back in one gulp. “I’d rather take 100 shots than answer that question.”
“Fair enough.” Val pour another one into her glass. “Anyone you’re interested in now?”
She looked at him and raised her glass again, “You are trying to kill me.” She threw back the shot.
“Seriously. You can’t answer that question? What am I going to do?”
“There’s one guy. But it would never happen so I don’t think about it.”
“Who is it?”
Sharna took another shot getting herself to the point of no return, “I’m. looking. at . him.”
“So then he said, “Me?” and I nodded. Given I was worse than him, I thought when he answered he would be in his right mind. He said, “You want to give it try?” I stared back and him and smiled, thinking that he was joking.”
“So then what happened?” Artem leaned on his hand as he rested his arm on the ledge of the couch.
Val got up, looking for Serge, he found him and patted his shoulder, “Yo. I’m leaving- if you want a ride.”
Serge nodded and followed him back to the table. Val put his arms around Sharna’s waist as they walked out of the restaurant, and turned to Serge who was signaling to him to explain what was happening. They walked out of the restaurant and were greeted with a ton of paparazzi.
“And I’m sure you’ve seen the video on youtube. That’s what really happened that night.”
Artem laughed, “I actually haven’t seen it.”
Sharna looked at him to make sure he was being serious but then she reluctantly pulled out her phone and googled the video. She hit play and then covered her eyes halfway as she showed Artem.
Sharna walked out of the restaurant, “Hey Guys.” Serge took her hand to keep her from talking as much as possible as Val went to get the car.
There is a lot of you out here tonight!” Sharna exclaimed. “He did so well tonight, I’m so proud of him.”
Artem continued watching the video and laughed and how far gone Sharna was when she was having a conversation with the paparazzi. But he stopped laughing when it got to the part with Val so he could hear.
“Ohh we’re doing the bikini shot?!” She asked the photographer as she signed the picture.
“Yooo, is that Hawaii right there?!?” He asked as he threw his arm around her.
“This is not hawaii, this is like 5 pounds before Hawaii.” They all started laughing and Val pointed at the picture, “I like that tho.”
“Oh you like it?” She looked up at him.
“That’s way better. Way better.”
Artem paused it at that point, “What did he say in your ear?”
“Something that will remain only for my ears. Then he asked me if I had money to tip the valet.”
Artem played the video again and watched as Val’s car was pulled up and three of them walked to it.
Val told Serge, “You’re in the backseat.” and they walked until they all got in the car. They were dancing, talking to the paparazzi who said, “where are you going, you going home?”
Sharna shrugged and turned to Val who got asked the question again, he nodded silently and timidly and then he soon after, drove off.
Artem put the phone down, “So he wasn’t driving you home-”
“He was taking me home.” She spoke to him slowly.
“And I’m assuming you guys had-”
“We did. A lot. That night was the start to when our relationship took a turn in that direction.”
“How long did that go on for?”
“A couple of weeks. Until I got back with Paul. Which was my stupid ass decision.”
“What do you mean?”
“I always go back and question whether I would be dating Val today if I hadn’t gone back with Paul. It seems like that was the direction it was headed.”
“Was that the last time you were with Val?”
“No, it used to be a pretty on/off thing, now it’s off and it’s staying off cause he’s with Jen.”
“But if he was single you’d want him?”
“Maybe. I guess I always was thinking of something more when we were doing our thing. I know we would have worked. But it’s a mute point because he’s not single. And the entire point of this conversation was to steer you away from wanting to do whatever with me.”
“Sharna, you’re just letting him go? I love Jen, you know I do. But you should talk to him.”
“Out of the question.”
“Sharna. Please tell him. I know Val and I know what he would want to know.”
“Nope.”
“You tell him or I will.”
“You promised you wouldn’t.”
“That was before, I knew that I had two friends who were in love with each other.”
“I never said love.”
“It’s love. I know it. And he told me the same thing.”
“What?”
“When he first got back with Jen, we were talking about relationships and he said he had a girl who he was only sleeping with in between relationships but that he had always thought about having more with her. He said he didn’t think that she felt the same way.”
“No he didn’t.” She said doubtingly.
“You need to tell him, Sharna.”
“I can’t do that to Jen. She’s one of my best friends. And it would destroy her.”
“Didn’t destroy Emma when she found out you had been with Sash.”
“Also wasn’t in love with Sash!” Sharna said back to him without realizing what she had said but when she did, all she could say was, “Oh shit.”
“Talk to him. I’m done with this conversation until you do.”
“Artem.”
“Sharna.”

S2E8: Look What You’ve Done
This episode contains a musical cue. When you come upon the hyperlinked phrase, please click the link to be taken to a YouTube video that will play a song chosen to accompany that scene.
“Alright, focus.”
Hope looks up from the candle, glowering at her uncle. “I am focusing.” She retrains her attention on the flame. She tries to keep her body as still as possible, but her leg is starting to fall asleep, and her nose itches. And then, of course, there are the voices.
Kol watches, unimpressed. “You’re not focusing.”
She lets out a strangled groan and flops back onto the floor of the attic. “This is pointless.”
“It isn’t pointless,” Kol insists. “If you’d like not to go crazy before you’re old enough to drink the alcohol you keep slipping, you’d best devote your energies to keeping those ancestors at bay.”
Hope narrows her eyes. “Have you ever fought off hundreds of the most opinionated dead witches in history?”
“Yes, actually, I have.”
“Oh.”
Kol squats down, hovering just above his niece’s head. “I know this is no fun. I know you have a thousand other things you’d rather be doing, but you didn’t see what I saw in Côte d’Ivoire. There was a girl, barely older than you, her life an unending stream of misery because of the duties thrust upon her. I refuse to let that be you.”
Despite herself, Hope quirks a small smile. “And here I was thinking you didn’t like me.”
“I mean, you’re alright.”
Hope rolls her eyes and sits up. “Okay. I’m focusing.”
“Right. Let the flame consume your every sense. Watch it flicker, cast shadows on the walls. Smell the wax melting and pooling. Feel the heat warm your skin.”
Hope starts to feel floaty, as if the tenuous link between her mind and her body is stretching. The candle looms larger in field of view as the outside world falls away. Her skin feels hot as the flame burns brighter, brighter—
—not over—
They’re coming.
—dumb boy can’t find my grimoire where I left it—
Did you see what that Tremé witch did?
—It’s not over—
—out in the bayou, can you believe this—
You tell Vincent this, he should know where to go—
It’s not over—
A hot flash of pain sears across Hope’s skull, and she cries out, clutching at her head. Kol’s immediately kneeling in front of her, hands on her face. “Are you alright?”
Hope nods, despite the throbbing still sending stars behind her eyes. “I don’t think focusing is working, Uncle Kol.”
Kol stays silent for a moment before saying tentatively, “You know, another witch might have a better chance of helping you block out those voices. Another witch like, say, your aunt—”
“No.” Hope stands up, pushing Kol’s hands away. “I don’t want her help. I’ve had enough of her help.”
“Hope—”
“She’s done enough,” Hope insists. She paces for a minute, working each of her hands with the fingers of the other. After a while, she shakes out all of her limbs. “Okay, let’s try again.”
Kol sighs, and then moves out of the way so Hope can settle cross-legged in front of the candle once more. “Okay, now, focus on the flame…”
The sun beams happily on the tiny patio of Mama Rae’s. An untouched coffee and danish on the table before her, Freya ignores the hordes of passersby, mostly eager tourists traveling to their next tour through historic New Orleans. Instead, she stares at the phone in her hand, difficult to see in the bright midmorning light.
“You gonna call her?”
Freya looks up to see Mama Rae hovering over her shoulder, looking significantly at her phone. “I’m sorry?”
“You’ve been starin’ at that girl’s contact for five minutes now. Are you gonna call her?”
Freya looks back down. Amaya’s contact entry stares right back at her, the black of the numbers seeming to grow bolder by the second. She shakes her head and clicks the phone off. “Maybe later.”
Mama Rae tuts. “Ain’t gonna win her back with that attitude,” she chides, and then wanders off to check on another table.
Freya regards the phone on the table warily, as if it might spontaneously explode, before picking up her coffee and taking a long, scalding sip.
As a gesture of good faith, Hope goes to them, walking into the vampires’ favorite daytime hangout cautiously. All heads snap to her as soon as she creaks open the door. “Close that,” someone snaps. “You’re letting all the light in.”
Hope sneaks inside as unobtrusively as possible, clicking the door closed behind her. “Hi.” Silence. “So, I have good news.”
“You lettin’ Ricky and them outta the Penitentiary?”
“Um, no. They terrorized some witches and did thousands of dollars’ worth of property damage. They are exactly where they’re supposed to be.”
“Those witches’re killin’ us!” someone else shouts.
“But they’re not! That’s the news.” Hope takes a deep breath. “For the past few weeks, there has been a vampire hunter in New Orleans. He was the one killing your friends, and he was the one causing these rifts in our communities. I came here to tell you that he is dead, and that you’re safe again.”
The vampires in the bar eye each other, unsure if they believe her. “What if you’re wrong?”
“This sounds like a convenient story.”
“How do we know you’re not just tryin’ to defend the witches?”
Resisting the urge to roll her eyes, Hope says, “I got to my uncle Elijah seconds before he and his sire line were killed for good. I understand why you might not trust my motives, but trust that I love my family, and I don’t mess around when it comes to keeping them safe. There was a hunter. He is dead. It’s over.”
There’s a light mumbling through the crowd, and Hope can tell there’s a general atmosphere of assent. Still contemplating the sudden revelation of a hunter in their midst, the vampires return to their drinking and darts. Hope’s shoulders sag in relief; they believe her, and maybe the tension in this city can finally ease.
“So, a hunter, huh?”
Hope turns to see Josh off to the side, leaning against the wall. She half-shrugs. “He’d been here since the end of summer. If I had known, I would have told you much sooner.”
“I believe you. These guys will too, once they stop being afraid they’re going to die every time they go out after dark.”
“You know, I’m trusting you to be the one to help them see that the witches aren’t their enemies.”
Shaking his head, Josh begins, “No, that’s Marcel’s job—”
“You’re good at this, Josh. They respect you.”
“They respect Marcel.”
Hope throws up her hands in a shrug. “I’m not saying you should depose him as…whatever he calls himself. King of the vampires. I’m just saying…don’t diminish your sway over them. They listen to you.” With that, she slips back out of the bar into the bright New Orleans sun.
When Elijah wakes up, the sun is already high in the sky. He can’t remember the last time he slept so late, but then, nearly being murdered tends to take it out of a man. His eyes still closed, he doesn’t have to look over to know when he’s being watched. “Are you staring at me?” he asks, his voice low and gravelly.
There is a soft pair of lips on the bare skin of his shoulder. “I resent the accusation.”
“I’m sure you do.” He turns his head to look at Hayley, who’s looking back with soft eyes. “There’s a face I worried I’d never see again.”
Hayley brings a hand up to rest against his cheek, lets her thumb explore the warmth of his skin. “Fifteen years, I forgot how much loving someone can feel like dying.”
Elijah slides his hand up her arm, takes hers and presses its palm to his lips. “I forgot how much dying can feel like dying.”
Hayley breathes a laugh. Then she shakes her head. “I knew. I knew there was something I missed with Joel. River told us that the man who shot Hope had a scar on his neck, and I missed it.”
“Now I know that I didn’t fall in love with a woman foolish enough to blame herself for the actions of terrible men.”
She lets her head tip to the side to rest against his arm. “Fifteen years I fought to get you back, and I almost lost you.”
Elijah kisses the top of her head. “I am more thankful than ever the gift that is your daughter.”
Hayley hums in agreement, and they lay there, warm in the New Orleans sun.
Hope trudges up a rickety wooden staircase, on her way back up into the attic for some more training with Kol. She stops when she hears a voice behind her say, “Hope?”
She turns, and frowns when she spies Freya at the bottom of the stairs. “I can’t talk right now.”
“Kol told me of your efforts to keep the ancestors at bay. Perhaps I can be of some help—”
“Let me be clear.” Hope descends to stand a few steps above the bottom, so she’s staring down at Freya. “I don’t need your help, and I don’t want your help. You had your chance to help me and this city and you shot it down.”
“I made a mistake, Hope, and I am begging for your forgiveness.”
“It’s not mine to give!” Hope cries. “I was asked to defend New Orleans, to speak for the people who live here and who died here! They are the ones who suffered because of what you did, they are the ones who nearly saw war in their streets because you kept this a secret! My forgiveness doesn’t matter, theirs does.”
Freya shakes her head. “I didn’t do it to hurt you, or New Orleans. I did it to protect her.”
“I really, really wish that were enough.” Hope spins around and dashes up the stairs, leaving her distraught aunt behind.
Freya knocks on the apartment door, her fist shaking ever-so-slightly. She has to wait nearly a full minute before the door swings in, revealing Amaya’s face, swollen and red. Freya stares at her, crestfallen. “I wanted to stop by. I…heard about your brother.”
Amaya stares at her. First, it’s as if her gaze slices right through Freya, as if she’s focused on a spot on the wall behind her. Then Amaya’s eyes focus on her, and she croaks, “Come on in.”
Amaya spins and walks away, leaving Freya in the open doorway. Cautiously, Freya steps inside, pressing the door shut behind her. The apartment is littered with tissues, and Joels leather jacket, the collar hard and sticky with blood, lays across the couch. Amaya sits next to it, runs her hand over the leather. “I’ve been sitting with my phone since the cops left. I figured…I figured I should tell people that he’s dead. But we don’t have anyone left to tell. He’s got…he’s got some friends, I don’t know them too well. Don’t know how to tell them that he’s—” She barks out a sob, and claps a hand over her mouth.
Freya settles next to her and wraps an arm around her shoulders. “I’m sorry,” she murmurs. “I’m so sorry.”
Hope and River walk through the Quarter, side-by-side, people-watching. Hope’s quiet, lost in her own head, so River gently nudges her with her elbow and says, “Thinking about Freya?”
Hope works her jaw tightly. “I’m trying to understand where she’s coming from, I really am. But she knew what was going on in this city and she chose to stay quiet about it.”
Nodding, River points out, “From what I’ve heard, Freya’s always been the big sister. She’s always put her family first. Maybe…maybe this time she wanted something for herself.”
“But it wasn’t just her family that got hurt. It wasn’t just me, or Uncle Elijah, or my mom. It was every vampire, every witch in New Orleans. I mean, god, four nightwalkers are dead, and the Penitentiary is full of people who got caught up in a mess they didn’t even understand.”
“That’s true.” River sighs. “I just…I don’t know. I just can’t help but think about how you defended me when your dad found out that my venom was the key to curing your uncles.”
Hope side-eyes her girlfriend. “Are you taking her side?”
“Hey, no.” River hooks her arm through Hope’s. “I am on your side, all day every day.”
“But.”
“But…you can be stubborn sometimes.”
Rolling her eyes, Hope argues, “Have you met my family?”
“Yeah, the headstrong apple doesn’t fall far from the ornery tree, point taken. But still. Freya screwed up, and you have every right to be mad at her, but maybe…maybe there are worse crimes in the world than falling in love with someone with a complicated family. I mean, look at me. If I didn’t love you, I would be trying to run the hell away from your crazy-ass relatives.”
Hope wrinkles her nose. “That’s fair.” She pouts. “I hate when you’re right.”
River laughs. “Better get used to it.”
Freya passes Amaya a cup of tea, and Amaya takes it with shaking hands. “They wouldn’t let me see him,” she says, voice quiet. “They told me…when they told me it was a hit-and-run, I wanted to go see him, but they said it was too…too bad.”
Freya keeps her expression as schooled as possible. Hit-and-run was what she asked Rebekah to compel the police to tell her, but the lie still hurts all the same. She runs a hand up and down her back. “It’s best you didn’t see it. You should remember him as you saw him last.”
Amaya sniffs. “I wish I knew where he was going.”
“What do you mean?”
“When he left, he seemed…excited. Like he was going to do something big.” She shrugs. “I don’t know what it was, or if he did it. But as least…at least the last memory I have of his face, he was smiling.”
On his way to murder my brother, Freya thinks. She smiles softly. “That’s good. Hold onto that.”
Amaya side-eyes Freya. “Why are you here?”
Startled, Freya starts to answered, “I told you, I heard about your brother—”
“No, I mean—” She takes a deep breath. “When you walked away from me in the farmer’s market the other day, I thought I was never going to see you again.”
Freya swallows thickly. “So did I. But then I thought about you, alone, mourning this most horrible loss, and I knew…I knew that staying away from you wasn’t an option. Not anymore. Not after…not after everything.”
“I don’t…I don’t know what that means.”
“It doesn’t matter. Just…just know that I’m sorry. For Joel, for the way I treated you, for…everything. I’m sorry and, if you’d like, I could…be here for you. In whatever capacity you need. A—a friend, a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen—or, if you’d rather, I can leave you be. Whatever makes things easier for you.”
Amaya stays silent for a long time, studying the whorls of the wood grain of the coffee table. Then she says, “My parents are dead. My brother is dead. I’m living in a city of strangers.” She looks up at Freya. “I’ll take all the help I can get.”
And then she tips her head onto Freya’s shoulder, and Freya, heart heavy, rests her own head on top of hers.
Klaus finds his elder brother in the dining room, alone at the long table, a glass of bourbon in hand. Elijah sips casually as his brother pours a glass of his own. “How are you feeling, brother?” Klaus asks, settling in a seat across from Elijah.
“Oh, I can’t complain. I could very well be dead right now, were it not for your daughter.”
“I imagine we shall all get used to Hope saving us before long.” Klaus smirks devilishly. “From what I could hear, Hayley was quite relieved that you returned to us safe and sound last night. She was relieved several times, in fact.”
“Niklaus…” Elijah groans with a put-upon sigh.
Klaus waves him off with a laugh. “Fine, fine. I suppose you’ve earned a day or two of respite from your bastard brother’s reign of terror.”
“If only I knew it took nearly dying for you to behave yourself.”
After a few more sips of bourbon, Klaus asks, “Have you spoken with our sister?”
Elijah stares into his glass. “I assume you’re referring to Freya.” He looks up at Klaus. “I’m not angry with her.”
Klaus seems surprised. “You were moments from death, Elijah. And Freya knew—”
“Freya owes us nothing, brother. Since she was rejoined with our family all those years ago, Freya has sought only to put her siblings before herself, a dedication to the Mikaelson name that rivals even my own. I do not begrudge her the choice of putting someone else’s wellbeing above ours for once. After all…” He raises his glass to his lips once more. “…I know the peculiar madness of being in love.” He takes a long sip.
Klaus makes a face. “We don’t know that Freya loves this girl.”
Elijah just smiles. “Yes, we do.”
Amaya’s curled up on her couch, her brother’s jacket clutched tightly to her chest. Something thumps her ankle, and she looks down and sees a lump in the jacket. After rooting around in the pocket, she pulls out her brother’s phone. It flickers to life, and her eyes well up at his background image, a photo of the two of them at the county fair when they were teenagers. She blinks rapidly and unlocks the phone—it only takes her two guesses to figure out that his passcode is the year he was born; he never was particularly clever—so that she can search through his contacts. She sees a name scattered throughout his recent calls list: Sebastian Sharpe. She decides to give it a go, and presses the phone to her ear. “Hi, is this Sebastian? My name is Amaya Ruiz. I’m Joel’s sister. I, um. I have some bad news.”
Steptoe, Nevada
Standing in his kitchen, Sebastian Sharpe hangs up the phone. He strokes a tired hand over his gray-flecked beard, and then makes his way down the hall. He wrenches open a door to reveal a set of stairs descending into darkness below. He flips on a light switch and makes his way down into a half-finished basement. Once there, he gropes around the wall for another switch, and suddenly the entire space is flooded with light. He passes the table heavy with weapons—crossbows, handguns, knives, expertly-carved stakes—and shoves the shoulder of a man on a cot. “Wake up.”
The man groans. “Go away. I’ve only been down an hour.”
“Wake up. Joel’s dead.”
The man sits up, stunned. “Joel’s dead?”
“His sister just called. Hit-and-run.”
They’re silent for a moment. Then, “I knew that harebrained plan of his was going to get him killed.”
“Get up, Jordan, and call the others.” Sebastian walks back over to the table, selects a gun, and slides it into the back of his jeans. “We’re going to New Orleans.”

🌻 questions tag 🌻
I was tagged by the lovely @fsstudies to answer all of these questions. Thank you very much! I shall attempt to make myself look interesting, haha.
I tag @affinityscience @hayley-studies @my-little-studyblr @georgestudies @raven-studies. I don’t talk to very many people on here so you have been chosen at random (mostly). If you don’t wanna do it, then ofc that’s chill. I also tag anyone who sees this n kind of fancies doing it. Go wild, kiddo.
LAST:
1. Drink: water, and before that, tea.
2. Phone call: probably my best friend
3. Text message: well, the last time I messaged someone was on facebook (my friend from uni), but the last time I properly texted someone it was probably my best friend, again.
4. Song you listened to: la devotee - p!atd
5. Time you cried: watching a film. I can’t for the life of me remember what it was. I cry a lot, tbf.
HAVE YOU:
6. Dated someone twice: no
7. Kissed someone and regretted it: I don’t think I regret any of them, no. Well, I’ve kissed someone and regretted it months later if that counts.
8. Been cheated on: nope
9. Lost someone special: yes
10. Been depressed: yes, I suppose so.
11. Gotten drunk and thrown up: yes. All of the time. My stomach is very bad at handling alcohol, so tactical chunders are usually the way to go. I’ve never been absolutely plastered though, and vomiting not by choice; I’ve usually always chosen when I’m going to throw up (usually to make myself feel better/avoid a hangover).
LIST 3 FAVORITE COLORS:
12. Black
13. Blue
14. Grey
IN THE LAST YEAR HAVE YOU:
15. Made new friends: yes, I started university last September so I made a fair few.
16. Fallen out of love: not in the romantic sense, no.
17. Laughed until you cried: yes, a week ago, actually.
18. Found out someone was talking about you: oh lord, yes, haha. It’s been the cause of all my problems, this past month or so.
19. Met someone who changed you: no.
20. Found out who your friends are: most bloody definitely!
21. Kissed someone on your Facebook list: yes, I think I did. I regret it now, haha.
GENERAL:
22. How many of your Facebook friends do you know in real life: The vast majority of them I’d say. Most of them are people I went to school with, and if I didn’t go to school with them, they’re people I’ve met drunk on a night out. There’s only a handful on there who I’ve not met.
23. Do you have any pets: yes, we have a black labrador, called Breeze.
24. Do you want to change your name: I’ve never really been fond of my name, it was very popular the year I was born so I always find a lot of people my age called Sophie. If I were to change my name I’d change my last name. I’d make up something completely new so I wasn’t associated with either side of my family.
25. What did you do for your last birthday: I went to see Morrissey live in Manchester with my best friend, that was a brilliant weekend, one of the best experiences of my life. And with my family I think we went out for a meal? It was so long ago now I can’t even remember properly, haha.
26. What time did you wake up: today it was 6am, because I’ve got to travel 180 miles North to move some of my stuff in to my new uni house. Usually I’m very bad at getting out of bed before midday, but if I’ve got stuff to do I can wake up any time.
27. What were you doing at midnight last night: Probably watching old Whose Line Is It Anyway  episodes. The UK ones, of course.
28. Name something you can’t wait for: going back to university in September, though I’m going to miss my best friend desperately.
29. When was the last time you saw your mom: I saw her 8 hours ago, I think? Just before she went to bed.
30. What is the one thing you wish you could change in your life: my anxiety (lol, #deep). Deep down I know I’m supposed to be a very extroverted person, but it prevents me from being that.
31. What are you listening to right now: other than the noisy sodding birds outside my window? Nothing, lmao.
32. Have you ever talked to a person named Tom: yes? I knew two guys called Tom in middle school.
33. Something that is getting on your nerves: probably one of my ex-friends (that sounds dramatic af). She’s been very irritating recently and I wish she’d just stop being such a child and leave me the hell alone.
34. Most visited websites: twitter, facebook, tumblr, youtube. The usual suspects, haha.
35. Mole/s: yes. Lots. According to my mum they’re a sign of strength. That might well be bollocks, but who knows.
36. Mark/s: I’ve got a scar on my right eyebrow from when I ran into the corner of a wooden table as a child. I used to get called “Sophie Potter”, Lords knows why cos it ain’t bloody lightning shaped.
37. Childhood dream: when I was 5, probably just owning a tractor would be enough for me (a Ford one, because they’re blue); when I got a bit older I wanted to be an author, or an illustrator, or an author who illustrated her own books.
38. Hair color: brown
39. Long or short hair: long. I only had it cut for the first time in 2 years a few months ago. It was ridiculously long then.
40. Do you have a crush on someone: no, not a crush. That’s the wrong word.
41. What do you like about yourself: I actually quite like my appearance nowadays. I’m very proud of my intelligence, my knowledge of useless facts, my sarcasm, how funny I can be, and my art.
42. Piercings: ear lobes and my nose. I’d love to get more done.
43. Blood type: I have absolutely no idea, not even my own mother knows.
44. Nickname: I don’t have one. Some people have attempted to call me “Soph” in the past and I’ve quickly shot them down, only my dad gets to call me that and even then I don’t like it, haha. Occasionally I’ve been called by my last name, and some jokes have been made out of my last name but nothing’s ever really stuck.
45. Relationship status: single… as a pringle..?
46. Zodiac: I don’t know much about this. I know I’m a Leo…
47. Pronouns: she/her
48. Favorite TV show: Doctor Who, TLOG, anything Reece Shearsmith & Steve Pemberton write, Green Wing (recently), House, Lie To Me… There’s loads more but I can’t list them all, I’d be here all day.
49. Tattoos: I have a tattoo of some planets and stars over a mountain on my inside left wrist. I got it about a year ago. I want lots more!
50. Right or left hand: Right. Though weirdly I started out life left-handed and then switched of my own accord when I was about 5. Unfortunately that doesn’t make me ambidextrous though, dammit.
51. Surgery: twice. Had my tonsils removed as a kid, and then I used to be tongue-tied so I had to have that sorted a few years after.
52. Hair dyed in different colour: not yet. I’m planning on it soon though, my hair’s a little drab at the moment.
53. Sport: I used to love football (soccer) as a kid and I was fairly good at it, mostly because I was vicious, and at school I was on various sports teams but nowadays I rarely do any.
54. blackpink in your area???? I’ve no idea what this means, so I’m gonna skim past it.
55. Vacation: as a family we’ve been to Greece together (Kos, specifically) and it was wonderful, and we’ve been caravanning on the coast a few times. We haven’t been on holiday in years, but we’re all going to Jersey next month, unfortunately for some not good reasons.
56. Pair of trainers: two pairs of grey converse, one very new, one very tatty. And a pair of grey generic trainers for the gym (I like grey, apparently)
MORE GENERAL
57. Eating: mashed potato, gravy, pie, cheesy chips, my mum’s roast dinners, my grandma’s baking.
58. Drinking: tea, always. I bloody love tea, not that I’m upholding a national stereotype there, but oh well. Wine is lovely, but vodka is my absolute favourite when it comes to alcohol. Or gin, though I can’t handle it very well. Tequila shots, yes, jaeger bombs, always.
59. I’m about to: get dressed and go to my grandma’s for an hour before we drive up North to my new house
60. (there is no 60, this is odd)
61. Waiting for: my exam to be over (it’s on Tuesday, send help).
62. Want: to be at the pub with my friends, and a night out at Welly (the best club ever, pop punk and indie trash on a loop).
63. Get married: I doubt it. I’m not interested in marriage really.
64. Career: my dream career would be artist. Quite possibly a portrait artist. But I know that’s not exactly a safe bet, so I’ll save that until I’m financially stable. I’m doing a chemistry degree at the moment, so I suppose I’ll get a job using that. In research, maybe.
65. Hugs or kisses: depends on the person. Hugs from everyone. Kisses are also wonderful too, though.
66. Lips or eyes: eyes.
67. Shorter or taller: neither. I’m tall compared to most of my friends, but not too tall that I can’t get away with wearing heels, so I’ll stick to where I’m at, cheers.
68. Older or younger: younger I think. I miss being so carefree.
(dammit why is there no 69 ffs)
70. Nice arms or nice stomach: on me? Stomach probably. But both I think. My arms are odd, I’d like to edit them a little.
71. Sensitive or loud: both. Loud, naturally, I think. Sensitive not entirely out of choice.
72. Hook up or relationship: hook up. I think I have commitment issues, I couldn’t be in a relationship with someone.
73. Troublemaker or hesitant: depends. Mostly troublemaker. If I’m hesitant it’s only usually for a few seconds before I go “fuck it” and do it anyway.
HAVE YOU EVER:
74. Kissed a stranger: yes. Many a time.
75. Drank hard liquor: yes. It’s lovely.
76. Lost glasses/contact lenses:  nope, never, thank god. Let’s hope this continues.
77. Turned someone down: yes, very gently.
78. Sex on the first date:  I don’t think you could call it a date, but I’ve had sex with someone the first night I’ve met them? If that counts?
79. Broken someone’s heart: I don’t think so, no. Not that I’m aware of anyway.
80. Had your heart broken: no.
81. Been arrested: never.
82. Cried when someone died: yes, of course.
83. Fallen for a friend: no. Not really. I had a brief crush on a friend, but it didn’t last.
DO YOU BELIEVE IN:
84. Yourself: sometimes yes, sometimes no. I can be very arrogant depending on my mood, so in those moments I do, yes. In the more anxious ones, definitely not.
85. Miracles: no way

Haunted (drabble)
Pairing: Elijah Mikaelson x reader
Word count: 1,928
Warnings: Angst, one bad word, suicide, happy ending?
Summary: You're the product of an experiment and Elijah makes you feel alive. You are taken from him and the pain drives you over the edge.
A/N: I had this stirring in my mind for a while now and I finally got around to typing it out. I originally made this out to be a short oneshot but I got a bit carried away. This one is super angsty so be warned.
You had been in love with one of the most dangerous men in New Orleans. But to you, it was all worth it. Every time your heart fluttered when he was around, made the world seem to revolve you two. Nothing else mattered to you in those precious moments.
Elijah wasn't a vampire in those moments and you weren't a potential time bomb. Around him, you were stable, calm, happy. He made you happy and he didn't see you as other saw you. Dangerous, a threat. They were right to fear you because of what you could do to all of them, if the fancy striked you.
You were the result of an experiment that left many test subjects dead in the process. You were a monster, a literal bomb. With one small flash of anger, you could destroy city blocks, leaving roads upturned and hundreds of people dead. New Orleans wasn't a logical place to drop you off with the amount of people that lived there. But they wanted you to kill, to become what they created you to be.
You met Elijah in a quaint bakery, mindlessly dreaming of the sweet tastes that could grace your taste buds. But all you could do was dream because you couldn't get a job. You had no identity, having it wiped when you were part of the experiment. You begged for money but not a lot of people gave you money. You were desperate and you enjoyed being around the sickly sweetness of sugar.
He seemed to see right through you and bought you proper food, and not just sugar. He had taken care of you, sheltered you, fed you. You had felt bad because you had nothing to give him in return. He just told you that you didn't need to give him anything. Just being around you was payment enough.
You remembered his kiss, his touch, the way he made you feel. It was all a ghost now and just a silly fantasy and it was all your fault. You knew what you were and you knew that you shouldn't have let yourself be so easily seduced by the promise of love, commitment. You were not meant for it. You didn't deserve it.
All it took was a small flicker of anger, harsh words thrown your way, and hundreds were dead. You had destroyed the streets of New Orleans, taking many humans and supernatural creatures with your anger. You didn't remember committing the act but as you lay in the wake of your rage, you knew what you done and how you had been lulled into a false sense of security.
Elijah had found you in the middle of it all, sitting numbly over a young child's body, and brought you into his chest. The security blanket was gone and you realized just how foolish you had been. Elijah did not deserve a monster and you had become what they wanted you to be.
"He fought for you, he really did." Rebekah had told you.
You were taken away by the government, meaning to be isolated, never to see the sun again, never to see Elijah again. He watched you be taken away, while you had tried to run back into the arms that had held you the night before. But he just stood there, not wanting to cause a scene.
You had felt betrayed but you knew that this was for the best. You would be better off away from him, away from people. They said that you would never hurt anyone ever again. But no one told you that no one would be damaging your heart again.
Your only mirror into the outside world was the newspaper. It didn't provide a lot but you listened to the gossip of the other prisoners, mostly the ones that came from New Orleans. You wanted, needed, to know about Elijah. Did he still love you? Was he hatching a plan with Klaus to come get you?
They told of a woman, Hayley, a wolf who was pregnant with Klaus's child. The Mikaelson's were protecting her and you were happy to know that Elijah hadn't stopped being a gentleman. But as the years passed by, the news become more about the developing relationship of the two and of the baby, Hope.
Your heart had slowly started to become hollow with the news of their attraction to each other. The prisoners told you all about it and they didn't seem to notice how hard the news hit you. You didn't know him for very long but the feelings you had for him were real and you had liked to believe that he felt the same. The news said otherwise and you cried for your lost romance, for the man you loved.
Then the news stopped. The Mikaelson's were indisposed and you were glad to not hear anymore news about the romance. You waited for five years and then it started up again. New prisoners brought in new news but every time they told you, their voices became more and more garbled with the silent tears that streamed down your cheeks. He had forgotten you and he haunted you in your dreams.
You sat out in the foyer with the windows when a newspaper was dropped in your lap. Your eyes flitted to the front page and you felt the world rumble around you. Sadness had become your main trigger now and the bold headline that jumped off the front page didn't help. You ripped it to shreds and curled up in a ball, surrounded by a pool of your own tears.
They started to sedate you heavily and when you were conscious, you were so drugged up that you couldn't think properly. You were kept in your room most of the time, thinking that something was wrong but could never connect the dots together. Something was wrong...
You felt the warmth of the sun on your skin as you sat outside and felt the sweet caress of the wind against your skin. You heard the whispers amongst the prisoners and turned to see one of the New Orleans vampires being set free. Lucky. The government would never let go of one of the most dangerous women on the planet.
But what had caused a slight turn in your brain was the man who was collecting him. He looked familiar but you couldn't remember who he was. Suit, stubble, body language that said he was powerful. You frowned a bit and then carried your eyes to the newspaper that laid in the hands of one of the guards that was sitting in a white chair by the door.
"Elijah." You whispered and suddenly everything cleared.
The clearing of your mind brought the sadness and the heartbreak. He had forgotten about you and married the woman, Hayley. Your eyes blurred and you didn't register your feet moving until you were stopped but the guards at the doors. It all moved in slow motion around you as you tried to move toward him, to make him see you. Your voice wouldn't work as he seemed to move too quickly towards the front entrance then you wouldn't see him again.
"Don't leave me. Elijah. Elijah." You whispered again to yourself.
Then he was gone and the world rumbled.
----
No matter the amount of drugs they pumped into you, you remembered. You remembered Elijah. You remembered the heartbreak and the hollowness of your heart that lurked within. You saw the hallucination of Elijah every single day as you sat in your room, willing the world to open up and swallow you whole. Then you could escape the feelings.
You watched as more New Orleans vampires were freed and on those days, you were not allowed out into the foyer. Elijah was always there to collect them and you knew exactly what days that he'd be there. It was like clockwork and you were going to hack the system, make a demonstration. The pain was too much.
As the guard came by your room to give you your food, you easily incapacitated the chubby man and took his gun from him. You stopped the guards in your way, quicker than they could raise an alarm, cutting off your chances to see Elijah. You needed something beautiful to see beforehand.
You went out into the foyer and shot the people who got too close. They quickly backed off and the vampire wasn't allowed to go any further. Everything stopped and the only sounds you could hear was the living heartbeat of yourself. It was a lie. You weren't alive, not anymore. You had lost your life the moment Elijah had sent you away. You were just too foolish to realize it until it was too late.
He looked at you with the gun in your hand and it took him a moment to recognize you. The last time he had seen you, you were being taken away, screaming his name to save you. He couldn't save you.
You looked at him and then the golden band around his finger. A small part of you hoped that the newspaper was a fake, amusement from the guards who liked to see you suffer. But, no. it was real and the whole thing came crashing down around you. Suddenly, it was just you two, lost in the color of your eyes.
If you tried hard enough, you imagined yourself to be back in New Orleans, wrapped up in his arms, his lips against your skin, whispering sweet words. Your heartbeat thumped against your skin and you felt alive, stuck in a memory. He could have made his move, incapacitated you, taken you away from the hell you were in.
But he didn't. All he could do was watch you put the gun in your mouth, and fire a single shot. The whole thing lasted just a few seconds. A few seconds that he could have used to save your life, brought you back home, and made you feel alive again, as much as he could.
He put a bouquet of flowers on your grave and once everyone had gone, he kneeled on the fresh soil and let himself grieve for the woman he should have saved, should have kept hidden, should have loved.
"I'm sorry, (Y/N)." He spoke to the piece of stone that marked your grave.
You stayed behind a single tree, a ghost, watching him.
"I know." You spoke, knowing that he couldn't hear you.
So you continued to haunt him, to feel alive, to feel loved, to not feel like the monster you were. That's all you ever wanted and death was the place that gave it to you.
----
For 20 years, Elijah grieved. He let himself remember you and the memories that he had left of you. He never forgot you, no matter how hard he tried to forget. He found himself visiting the bakery often, remembering how you smelled like sugar from being around it for a while. He left fresh flowers as often as he could and Hayley accompanied him sometimes, to ease his mourning soul.
He found himself walking down the streets of the main square at night, breathing in the night air. He then smelled something familiar. Sugar. He followed it and found a woman dancing near the open doors of Rosseau's. She was smiling and losing herself in the music. She was new, not haunted by the loss of heartbreak.
She stopped for a moment and looked at him. She smiled a bit and continued to dance. She would always haunt him, now that she was alive and she would never feel the touch of his poisonous love. The only monster left was him.

memories with TS songs
Today I’m thinking about how many memories I have with Taylor songs and imaging how there are even more coming just waiting to happen.
I was in sixth grade when Taylor’s first album came out and I used to steal my older sister’s hot pink iPod nano so I could listen to Taylor on the bus drives to and from school. It’d be me sitting alone, slouched on the seat with my knees propped up, staring out the window daydreaming while listening to Our Song. Or thinking about Teardrops On My Guitar and changing the lyrics to “teardrops on my violin” bc I was an orchestra kid with massive crushes on people who always looked past me.
Every time I had a falling out with someone or a friend that was going through a breakup, Picture to Burn was there with me. On more than one occasion my sister or I brought the small kitchen pot and a lighter to our bathroom and turned on the blower so we could literally burn pictures or notes or letters without starting a fire.
I’m Only Me When I’m With You has been the longtime anthem of me falling in love with my best friends over and over, and them not feeling the same way.
The summer after Fearless came out, I was absolutely obsessed with the album. I was away from home for a month or so and I would listen to it on repeat. Sometimes I’d g-chat (bc it was the newest feature on my new gmail account) with my cousin and we’d watch the You Belong With Me music video at the same time and gush about it.
Fearless was really That Album—so many iconic bops. Hey Stephen was my first favorite on that album. The Best Day made me want to cry and hug my parents and I still think that if I ever get married, that’s gonna have to be my father daughter dance song. I still scream sing the bridge of Tell Me Why every time it comes on. Fearless is the song that got me and still gets me gassed up to shoot my shot (archer pun not intended). Fifteen. White Horse. You’re Not Sorry. BREATHE. Forever & Always became my sign-off salutation and it’s still one I use. The Way I Loved You! I didn’t have the deluxe version of the album (bc I didn’t know there was one) but damn. I still stan fearless.
Speak Now was definitely the album my sister loved the most. It’s a lyrical masterpiece. I don’t know if I’m remembering this right but when Mine dropped with the music video there was this story circulating that it dropped early because Taylor and her team found out that it had leaked while they were on a flight or something crazy so they released as soon as they landed, ahead of the original date. And I remember watching that video and being so in love with all the pictures hanging on strings in the forest. I have so many memories of me playing Speak Now from my CD player and jumping around singing and dancing to my favorites songs or lying on the carpet like a dramatic bitch for the slow ones, especially Dear John. I’m pretty sure the only way I listened to Dear John was lying on the floor in the puddle of tears (imagined and real).
Red came out when I was in high school and everyone was so shook when it dropped bc we were like yooooo is Taylor experimenting with dubstep (back when dubstep had its little hay day). 2012 was such a weird year. It gave us Kony 2012 and apocalypse theories. But mostly, Red is the album that was the soundtrack to my last years of high school. It was sitting in the passenger seat with the music up and windows down, on long drive to the country or to get milkshakes and slushees. It was me falling in love with my best guy friend again, him choosing to date my best girl friend, and then him breaking both of our hearts. It was forbidden moments with him knowing he was dating my best friend. It was me singing “don’t look at me you got a girl at home and everybody knows that” and then being a fucking hypocrit bc all our friends would be over hanging out and we’d be snuggled up, never holding hands or kissing but always being a little too close.
Red was the first concert I got to see Taylor. A relative got me tickets for my birthday. I wore my cowboy boots and favorite hi-low dress and curled my hair. And every drive I took that year, after every pool party, after every movie date with the boy, every last adventure before my friends went off to college, every late night at a friends house was awash in Red.
1989 is the soundtrack of my first years of college. It was me feeling left behind and awkward, and turning that into a fresh start in a new city and trying to shake off negativity. I remember when the Shake It Off video came out and I literally screamed and laughed and cried tears of happiness bc I felt so seen. Loving to dance even though I wasn’t the best at it. I remember late nights walking around campus in the dark in the winter listening to Welcome to New York and letting that feeling of endless possibilities and new beginnings wash over me. I remember countless times I zoned out standing in the shower thinking about Clean. I remember feeling like 1989 sounded like such a mixtape (in the best way—it captured such a specific set of feelings).
Reputation. Where do I even start. I think up until Rep, my love for Taylor Swift and her music was such an internal part of me, but EVERYONE was talking once the singles started coming out and it was when I finally found myself getting defensive over Taylor. I remember literally screaming the first time I watched the LWYMMD music video. My eyes nearly popped out of my head. When the lyric video for CIWYW came out, my best friend and I were staying at this hotel while she was visiting me and I cried and all I could say was that I was just so happy that Taylor found someone to love her whole. reputation was quite literally the only thing I really listened to for MONTHS. I was obsessed with the album. I would have died for that album.
I initially didn’t think I would get a chance to see her on tour because the tickets were soooo expensive but I ended up getting a surprisingly cheap floor seat just 3 days before I saw her in Foxborough night 1. That entire performance blew my mind. I was 5 rows back from the B stage which ended up being the perfect place cause Tay was soooo close while performing Shake It Off (one of my all time faves) and the surprise acoustic song was 22, which made me literally melt because I had just turned 22. I actually danced so hard during SIO that I twisted my ankle and fell back onto my seat during the concert—almost everybody that was seated around me had moved up by that point to get closer while Tay was on the B stage, but my ✌️social anxiety ✌️ was not about that life. I think I lost my voice from singing. And definitely was shooketh to the core when Hayley Kiyoko came on stage. Truly unforgettable.
This era has been such a whirlwind and I cannot wait for the memories it will bring and the lyrics that will destroy me. If Taylor talks at all more explicitly about dealing with family illness or sexuality/identity or the monumental effort it takes to really love yourself, just know that it will probably end me.
ANYWAY I love you @taylorswift
Your music has been the soundtrack to so many parts of my life. I know there are countless fans out there with stories like mine, or even more powerful ones and I just want to share how much your craft and dedication to your fans means to every single one of us whether or not we meet you. In these last couple weeks before the album is released, I hope you see and hear SO MUCH positivity and no more of the drama.
Lol if anyone, if a single one of you actually reads this 1) wow thanks 2) please reblog with some of your #TS song memories or times when #Taylor Swift was there with me AND USE THE TAGS so we can share these awesome memories with each other

You can find all of the reviews for the Marvel Cinematic Universe at the link here. At that link, you can also find the dates that the other reviews for the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be posted. My plan is to release one every single day, and because I’ve already reviewed Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 here, and Spider – Man: Homecoming here, they will not be included in the two weeks leading up to Thor Ragnarok.
As such, I will now move onto the actual review of the film, and I hope you enjoy!
The Avengers: Age of Ultron Trailer – Source: Marvel Studios
Cast and Crew
This film was written and directed by Joss Whedon, returning for the last time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe after he was ‘absolutely drained and exhausted after this film.’ Now, I’ve already mentioned his previous work in the review for ‘Marvel’s The Avengers’, however, I will do a quick recap of it here. Before joining the MCU, he was known for directing and writing hit television shows including ‘Firefly’, ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ and Dollhouse. He has since worked on writing and directing portions of the ‘Justice League’ movie that is coming to theatres on November 17, 2017, and is currently working on ‘Batgirl’ for Warner Brothers as well.

The cast for the ever expanding Avengers: Age of Ultron includes Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, James Spader, Samuel L. Jackson, Don Cheadle, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Cobie Smulders, Anthony Mackie, Hayley Atwell, Idris Elba, Linda Cardellini, Claudia Kim, Andy Serkis, Stellan Skarsgård, Thomas Kretschmann, Kerry Condon, Josh Brolin and Stan Lee
Review
The opening sequence of this film is straight out of a comic book onto the big screen, and it was beautiful. The scene featured the Avengers all working together, having been clearing out the remnants of Hydra and going after Loki’s Scepter to finally get rid of the threats left behind by the Chitauri. It was exciting, and fun, and even has Cap telling people to watch their language. We are also briefly introduced to two new characters in Wanda and Pietro Maximoff, who use their powers to mess with the Avengers a bit.
The one thing that I had a problem with at the beginning of this film was the lullaby, that was used by Black Widow to soothe the Hulk, and to calm him down enough to get him to revert back to Banner. While that is something that they would have obviously tried to figure out as a team, I didn’t like the execution of it, nor the implications that would later be revealed between the two characters.

Dr. Helen Cho, developed a machine that is able to create and synthesise quick healing of flesh wounds, and perhaps more (never explored further). It’s a quick and easy explanation that can be used if ever the Avengers are scene injured in one scene, and ‘fine’ the next. I enjoyed that little scene where Barton was getting fixed up, as it displayed the camaraderie that the Avengers had with one another.

With the Scepter back in the Avengers hands, the mad scientist, Banner and Stark (mostly Stark), decide that it would be a good idea to use the scepter that they’ve been studying to help them in creating Ultron, the peace program that would be able to protect the planet. As everything Stark does with good intentions, it doesn’t really go all that well.
The celebration scene where we get to see the Avengers all relax and have fun, is somethign that the movie did extremely well. They managed to make these superheroes extremely relatable, especially in the Mjolnir scene, where all the men try and take turns in lifting the hammer. The best part of that scene was when Rogers made it budge, and the priceless look on Thor’s face was extremely satisfying and hilarious.

Ultron as a character in this film starts off really terrifying as he has no control over the emotions that he has, and translates the phrase ‘peace in our time’ into meaning that to have peace, humanity must be extinct, as they are the ones fighting one another, and destroying the planet. It’s not a wrong analogy that Ultron comes up with, but the execution of the idea of manufacturing peace is not humane.
Over the course of the movie, he becomes more obsessed with destroying the Avengers in a grand and theatrical way (something he got from his creator (Stark), that he comes off as weak.

The music in Avengers: Age of Ultron was done by Brian Tyler & Danny Elfman. I feel that they both delivered great scores and themes for the heroes, while also being consistent throughout their differences. Before writing this review, I was under the impression that it was only Elfman who had worked on the score, not realising that they worked together and separately on this film.

The cinematography of Avengers: Age of Ultron was done by director of photography Ben Davis. This film featured really somber framing, as well as gorgeous shots. I enjoyed and am surprised by how many characters he was able to fit into a single frame, as the group is only getting bigger. I really enjoyed the action scenes, and appreciated the one shot scene in the church with the Avengers fighting the Ultrons.

The character of Vision in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is the ultimate android, using the Mind Stone as some sort of super battery. To Ultron, Vision is the perfect being, and as displayed when he picks up Mjolnir, he is worthy of that ability. I feel like they might be backing themselves into a corner with this character whenever the character meets Thanos. Once Vision loses the Mind Stone, will he be finished, or will he somehow live. Infinity War will answer a lot of questions, and will probably feature a lot of deaths. I hope that one of them isn’t Vision just to be able to see people’s reactions if ever Marvel Studios decides to further explore the love interest between himself and Scarlet Witch as implied in Captain America: Civil War.

The Maximoff twins, without the use of Mutants in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, they have been named ‘miracles’, given their enhancements via the Mind Stone that was in Loki’s Scepter. Wanda / Scarlet Witch was portrayed wonderfully and creepily by Elizabeth Olsen. I really loved what they did with the character, even showing glimpses of the potential of her power after her brother’s death. I am happy that they chose to keep Wanda, and ‘let Fox have Pietro’, however I wish we could have had both.
Pietro Maximoff, Marvel’s ‘answer’ to the Flash from DC. He is able to run extremely fast without getting tired, however they chose to add that limitation in the movie so that he would not be overpowered. I feel like the back and forth that he and Clint Barton had throughout the film was fun and enjoyable, and I was happy to see that he will be remembered in the MCU through Nathaniel Pietro Barton, Clint’s third child, after Quicksilver sacrificed himself to save Clint and the child that he had gone to get.

Scarlet Witch got to mess with everyone’s minds, and show them visions of either their worst memory or their worst fear? It wasn’t very clear on that, one thing I truly enjoyed of that was Clint Barton’s response in not wanting to be mind controlled again, and decided to electrocute her with one of his non-lethal arrows.
Tony’s vision showed him the death of the Avengers, and the gaping wormhole that the Chitauri were coming through in New York, it leads him to really go after the Ultron project as wants to prevent that from ever happening, and continues the journey that he was on in Iron Man 3, with wanting to protect those that he cares about.
This slideshow requires JavaScript.
Natasha’s vision was a memory of her training that she went through in the Red Room, forcing her to remember the horrors that she experienced, including the graduation ceremony where she was sterilised, which influences her to taking the path towards Banner, especially because he doesn’t want to fight, and she just wants to escape, as he once did.
Steve’s vision included him back in the 40s, after the end of the war, where he survived and got to have that dance with Peggy Carter. It was a touching scene, where you realise that his worst memory / fear? is that he couldn’t grow old with the person he loved, and that everyone that he cared about is now long gone. I was surprised that we didn’t see Barnes in that scene of his, even if it was only a glimpse.
This slideshow requires JavaScript.
Scarlet Witch had one more victim in mind for her mind games, and unfortunately we don’t get to see what caused the Hulk to change, but it’s easy to figure out, most likely the hulk is his worst memory / fear, and in that becomes self explanatory. The good thing about that scene, is that it displays to the world what the Hulk is capable of, and we also got to see the Hulkbuster armour go toe to toe with the Hulk. They caused so much destruction, and the fight was so intense and fun to watch, that you can understand that the Hulk is something to be afraid of, especially if he loses control as he was forced into doing.

Avengers: Age of Ultron is also the start of the rift that will grow to cause the Civil War between the Avengers, with Tony wanting to protect the planet at any cost, while Rogers wants to have the power of free will, and be able to save who he wants and when he wants. The scene between the two chopping wood really shows the tension between the ‘two leaders’, and I feel like it was brilliantly acted by Evans and Downey Jr..
The part of the movie that I feel was the most forced thing out of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe was the whole Banner / Romanoff ‘relationship’ throughout the movie. It wasn’t needed, it was awkward, boring and just plain weird. Natasha must know that there could be no sex life with Banner, as evidence from ‘The Incredible Hulk’, where Banner can’t sleep with Betty Ross because he can’t even get a ‘little bit excited.’ I feel like it was forced, as I’ve already mentioned, and I still don’t know why Marvel thought it would have been a good idea.
This slideshow requires JavaScript.
The final confrontation between the Avengers and Ultron felt weak, and copies the same third act formula from the first Avengers film. A shit ton of robots (Chitauri) that are extremely expendable and able to be taken down with ease, versus the Avengers team, with two new heroes added, after an inspiring speech from Hawkeye to Scarlet Witch.
That is one of the greatest problems with the film, was that it felt very much like a carbon copy of the first one, while also throwing in Deus Ex Machina of a Heli Carrier with the help from Maria Hill and Nick Fury. It felt like they just didn’t know how to properly do a third act of the film on this one, and that’s a shame because the first act was fantastic, the second one was good, but the third one was weak.

I really enjoyed that Clint Barton had a secret family that Natasha of all people knew about. It was a little convenient in that Ultron had access to everything on the internet, but wouldn’t have known that Barton was married and had 2 kids. I found it really touching, as it gave a reason for Barton to be a part of the team, he is the most human out of them all, and he is doing the superhero act because it’s his job, and he wants to protect his family. I thought it was touching to see the Avengers reactions upon finding out.
This slideshow requires JavaScript.
At the time, I thought that Thor’s vision that Scarlet Witch had given him was kind of lame, and took him out of the story and it added a storyline that wasn’t needed in that movie. I still believe some of that, as it doesn’t add anything whatsoever in the film, but it does set up the next movie that he is set to appear in, Thor: Ragnarok. He sees the infinity stones that have been seen in the MCU thus far, and he knows that it’s not a coincidence, so he decides that the best thing to do, is electrocute the cradle to bring Vision to life with the Mind Stone. One thing that doesn’t really make sense is how would he know about the Power Stone being in the MCU?
His vision also hints at the whereabouts of the last Infinity Stone, the Soul Stone, when he questions Heimdall about what happened to his eyes, which were white in this scene, but are usually orange, the colour of the Soul Stone).
This slideshow requires JavaScript.
The Hulk, after being tricked and forced to turn by the Black Widow, decides to leave the Avengers after the events in Sokovia, and ends up disappearing. We will hopefully find out exactly what happened in Thor: Ragnarok, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they just gloss over that little detail.
This slideshow requires JavaScript.
The Avengers end up getting a new facility, courtesy of Stark using one of his father’s old warehouse in upstate New York to avoid a confrontation where civilians can be hurt near their base of operations. We also get to meet the new Avengers, which include Black Widow, Vision, Scarlet Witch, War Machine, Falcon and Captain America.
We get a fun little chat between Thor, Steve Rogers and Tony Stark where the ‘humans’ debate whether Vision being able to lift Mjolnir counts, as he’s an android. Thor finally leaves, running Stark’s lawn, and heads off towards Ragnarok.

There was only one post credit scene in this film, and that was of Thanos grabbing a gauntlet and saying that he’s going to have to do it himself, leading into Avengers: Infinity War.
Josh Brolin as Thanos ‘doing it himself’: Post Credit Scene – Source: Marvel Studios
Overall, I feel like this movie could have been a lot better in terms of how the villain was used, the manipulation / release of the Maximoff twins, the lullaby, the hinted relationship between Banner and Romanoff, and being too much like the first Avengers film. There was a lot of good moments, which is why the score might be higher than people think. I really enjoyed the opening sequence of the film as well as the after party that followed. I feel like it made the Avengers relatable and fun to see them interacting as the friends that they’ve become since their first mission in New York.
The twin’s ability was visually well done, except I had problems with Quicksilver being tired. I loved the realization that Barton was hiding a whole life from his friends, having his family off the books at S.H.I.E.L.D. which was really convenient but held true to the character. This film also helps in setting up a lot of films from Phase III of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with; Ulysses Klaue for Black Panther, Stark and Rogers starting to have more friction due to their beliefs for Captain America: Civil War, Thor on his side mission & Hulk disappearing for Thor: Ragnarok, and Thanos in the post credit scene for Avengers: Infinity War.

At the end of the day, this movie had a lot of shortcomings, and was extremely noticeable after coming off two very great movies in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy. I have to give this film a score, and that score is 7/10.
What did you think of the film? Are you excited for Thor: Ragnarok? Let me know in the comments below!
