i’m taking this to mean the creation of teyvat as we know it. the human realm. not the light realm aka the elemental realm aka the vishap realm

there’s a story somewhere in one of the books about the solar chariot that fell from the sky and created the chasm. i saw a theory one time about zhongli being a piece of that chariot. but the story itself phrases it as something like “when rex lapis was still young, the solar chariot fell” so i kinda shrugged that one off But technically he would still be young if he was apart of the chariot lmao

pretty sure the legend goes that the chariot was so saddened by the archon war that it plummeted so zhongli could have already been warring and shit. but we also know that the archon war was not a short period by any means. he happened to be a victor but that does not mean he had to have been there from the start

just dunno how that lines up with the creation of the chasm and the move of its people to chenyu vale and all that jazz

timelines are hard man

there’s also the theory that rex lapis is the sun god, which i personally buy into honestly lol

istg there was some book somewhere that alluded to zhongli having spent time in celestia prior to descending to teyvat. i could totally be making that shit up tho lol

anyway we know that fucker knows some shit. and he’s bound by a contract so he cannot divulge any information. whether it’s the contract w the tsaritsa or celestia itself idk i can’t remember if that was said somewhere

but it just puts things into perspective if he witnessed the creation of the human realm. all that shit about the descenders and the phanes and the shades and the divine nails and the moon sisters

man knows it all. probably. and can recall it like it just happened a minute ago. 6000+ years later

the idea that he’s the second descender is also one that has me intrigued. whether it’s true or not, the possibility is fun to play around with

writing this fic in zhongli’s pov is a challenge for sure lol my brain is wired to latch onto any information regarding him and how it could fit into the narrative. we know so much about him but also so little and the possibilities for him are endless

we might be hollow but we're brave (reddie) - ngl, i think about this fic a lot, and not just because i listen to 400 lux often. as my first reddie fic, it holds such a special place in my heart and i actually do think my writing is pretty great in this one, even though it's short and was mostly written on the bus.

when the sun came up (i was looking at you) (reddie) - lesbian reddie can be something so personal !! i loved writing this and exploring where their characters differ as ciswomen, and how that changes some relationships.

If sebek liked you he would let you be with malleus. I don’t think he’d bitch about it. He only starts whining and gets ‘annoying’ and complains because he thinks you’re not good enough to be around malleus. And with Sebek early on in the story this happens because he hates humans because of everything he’s been taught about them and how he views them as lesser than. But I think after he gets over his hatred for humans and yknow the racism he would be so happy to support you. If he thinks you’re lovely and great he will be your biggest fan! Like I think Sebek would stop being so uptight about malleus. But if he sensed any reasonable red flag about you he would get bitchy and not allow you to be with malleus. And like he would be very fair with his judgement. Like idk I think he can grow… he can realize good and bad traits about people and how they would work with malleus because he loves him so much, yknow? Like that’s his hyper fixation. Or at least. He would try his best to analyze who would be best for malleus based on what he knows and what he thinks he knows

I just recently got caught up so I'm still reeling in the revelation so bear with me here. The fact that the doodler is just a kid, just a teenager, is actually insane and I love it so much. Despite everything the dads did in season one to save their kids and even improve their relationship with them, it ultimately didn't matter because the world its self wasn't safe. The world traumatized the kids because the doodler was never truly dealt with. Because the doodler wasn't saved.

So the next generation of dads took it upon themselves to kill the doodler and due to their trauma couldn't recognize (or refused to recognize) it for what it was: just like them. It took the new dads trying to break the cycle of generational trauma and sheltering the s2 kids (with mixed results) for the s2 kids to recognize themselves within the doodler and try to help it. Ignorance is bliss, especially in the case of Willy still being a major antagonist, but the generational cycle is being broken and even when the s2 fully realize the horrors of the situation they're in, I do believe they will be steadfast in their kindness

Hi howdy this episode is so sad :( I'm so sad constantly about this episode. this episode. :( can't wait until the FUN season 5 bits where it's like they're GAY and there are so many ANALOGIES! instead we just have to wallow in sadness for a bit. so upset!! aa!!

Anyway yeah, lets go. I think when I listened to it at first I was really upset that I was at the end, like I was thinking "oh no I'm nearly at the end" back with 151. I still haven't listened to goodbye for now because it just makes me really sad that my favourite podded cast is over. I mean, good thing it's not now, but I still don't think I can make myself listen to it. I did put off MAG 200 for a while, and then when I actually did listen to it I immediately read Citrus' (CirrusGrey) fics about it.
