Sometimes I think humans evolved with tribalism and xenophobia. And we've always hated and feared strangers and the unknown and people different from us.

And then I remember we spent tens of thousands of years absorbing our neanderthal and denisovan lovers into human societies. Neanderthals and denisovans explored the world before humans did. We came second and could not resist these dashing explorers.

Also, socializing with them would've just been practical. They had a lot of experience in Eurasia and humans didn't. Yet humans somehow adapted quite quickly and easily to strange new environments and ecosystems. It seems to me like they had some help.

"But humans and neanderthals were at war!" That's another anthropology story that has no solid evidence behind it. If we were actually in a prolonged violent conflict, neanderthals would've won. Instead, we exist today as humans with a large helping of neanderthal and denisovan DNA.

Our ancient ancestors were exploring the world and partying hard with all the rare elves they met.

If i could give the trans community advice, it would honestly be that y'all motherfuckers need to start gatekeeping way harder. Like, deny it all you want, but trans isn't like black or gay. No. You don't get it. This is not for you." In fact i'd argue it's imperative for the success of the movement.

Remember, back in the good old days? Like in Silence of the Lambs, when the FBI profilers were like "Oh, yeah, Buffalo Bill ain't a trans woman, he's a violent autogynephile, it's a completely different psychology"? Why don't y'all go back to that?

Again, not to sound Machiavellian, but i want to stress that rights movements that want to be all-inclusive and for everyone and are more concerned with being good people than getting shit done are destined to fail
