CupheadAU: King Dice adopted Ms. Chalice. Dice is also in a relationship with Devil. So after all, now Chalice has two dads.

I didn't think through all the details in AU, but here are some ideas 👇

Chalice lived in an orphanage and she is still a half-ghost

Chalice was rather forced on Dice, but in the end he did legally adopt her and treats her like his own daughter

Chalice has abandoned issues

She's not evil or anything, her personality is basically the same as in show

Dice and Devil's relationship is much healthier than in show (but of course they still have some problems)

So far, they are just a couple, not husbands

But Devil also loves Chalice and calls her his daughter

But in the beginning, Dice hid Chalice and Devil from each other (out of good intentions). This situation did not end well

But now they're family

Because of her parents, Chalice has many problems in finding friends

But that didn't stop Cuphead and Mugman from becoming her bff

Usually Cuphead bothers Dice (cus biggest fan), and Devil bothers Mugman (just for fun)

For a while Devil, like in the show, tried to take Cuphead 's soul (and still daydreams a bit about it lol)

Henchman and Chalice are good friends, their relationship is like uncle and niece
