Yes, because who the fuck is going to tell me I can't (Spoilers)

WARNING: I kinda popped off a little here and there, I do not mean harm... I promise. I just really enjoy putting my thoughts on paper sometimes. <3

I would like to start off with a bit of a disclaimer, I am skipping through like 70% of this show because after watching ep 1 I kinda already lost it but I would like to share my opinion anyway. I in no way am trying to make fun of the show or the actors or anything like that. I am just stating my findings that are based on legit nothing other than my opinion on like the few scenes I have fully watched.

In general

The concept/storyline is actually really cool, I think it's a very interesting idea, and was excited to see how this was going to go.

The biggest issue I have with this show is the acting and I ain't here to shit on actors at all but... Can I just say what I want to say? Golf (Best)... Honey... This ain't it... (Idk if he has roles in other shows that do work better for him..) But to be very honest... Art is carrying this show atm.

I legit would get on my knees and bow down in a worshipping manner to translators. Their work is legit so, so important and they are all literal angels. BUT the translation of this show is so insanely distracting, the mistakes are hard to overlook and often cause some massive confusion for me personally. Again, translators deserve some hella praise but... I tried to ignore it, I really did.

But okay. Can you please look at this entire ordeal from my perspective for a HOT SECOND? I just wanna go home mate, I wanna go find my family..

i have not heard *anyone* talk about this series so i will take this opportunity to scream about 'till the world ends'

i won't lie the plot is a bit uh,, questionable – the moon is going to crash into the earth and the government has a load of bunkers for pretty much every single person, but you can only get in with a qr code (rip old people ig)

in at least two scenes, the guitar version of 'away in a manger' is playing as background music, but thai bls are very much their own genre, and if they want to use a christmas song as background music, then i will not be the one to stop them

dsspite the stranger stuff, it is genuinely a beautiful show. it's very very rare that i actually cry at shows, but this had me bawling. every happy moment was so bittersweet, but that's kinda what i wanted because i knew this was just gonna be *pain* (and oh it was)

i'm really surprised that not many people are talking about it, i mean, there's apparently only 10 people on letterboxd who've watched it (one being me), and i just think it deserves so much more

there's also straight aids & hiv rep!! i really wasn't expecting it, but it was done really well

The best bl scene ever created - The rooftop

Here are my thoughts on why I believe this rooftop scene was one of the most beautiful scenes ever created.

The visuals

The moon looks incredibly realistic and extremely beautiful. Even if it impossible to see the moon this closely with naked eye it still looks beautiful. The falling stars are very gently added and they actually fit well with the whole vibe of the seires and specifically this scene.

The honesty

Talking is the most important thing in any relationship it always is and always will be. This entire scene is just Golf and Art speaking their mind and speaking their heart.

The scene starts with Golf sitting on the roof alone and Art coming to him and showing him comfort by wrapping him in a blanket. By Art's expressions you can see he wants to comfort Golf badly but he just does not know how to that. Golf slowly started to break down once again and this time Art trying to comfort him with his small smiles. And it worked because Art is Golf's everything now and Art starting to talk about how happy he was when Golf entered his life shows that Golf is everything to Art as well.

THE Love confession

Golf admitting he fell for Art the moment he spilled his coffee on him and Art teasing him by asking "So you know the meaning of love?"

Golf talking about his meaning of love and how the meaning changed for him when he met Art must be the sweetest thing ever. This whole confession was so sweet and lovely and each word they shared ment the world to them. Art fake cringing on Golf's definition of love while he was probably meltingbon the inside.

"For me you completely replaced the whole meaning of love." and then giving Art the most precious thing he owned. The bracelet that his mum gave him... It just shows that Golf loves and cares for Art wholeheartedly. And I know that Golf and Art are married but I think that Golf giving Art his bracelet means much more than any ring ever could.

And they just keep talking not stopping just sharing everything they think and feel. Golf keeps talking about how grateful he is for Art, how he loved everything about him and how he loved protecting him. Both of them tearing up to this. Golf being ready to spend the afterlife with Art without even knowing where they would end up, he just needs his other half. (Art cried so beautifully in that part)

The apology that should not have been an apology

Art apologising for being selfish and annoying and for being being hard to handle. But Golf pushing those thoughts away by saying he does not have to be perfect. Nobody is perfect and Golf is far from being perfect but Golf loves him for who he is

The Past

Golf suffered a lot in the past because of his 7 day curse. He starts to like people fast and because of that he has been heartbroken by many before but he still wouldn't change anything because all those bad relationships, all of those heartbreaks brought him to Art and to where they are today.

The Love making

It needs to be addressed. The scene was perfect without it but the love making just made the scene complete. (Also Golf is kinky af he was so happy about doing it on the rooftop)

But the sweetness and gentleness in their touches needs to be shared and those soft kisses they shared were so perfect. I also loved how Golf thought of comfort before anything and layed down the blanket that Art gave him (still don't understand how they didn't slipped off the rooftop).

lmao I just finished defending an artist who got dragged into negativity unnecessarily simply because he drew Jason as a volleyball captain instead of Percy in an AU.

The comment was basically whining that Jason shouldn't have been better at volleyball than Percy, and that Percy should've been drawn as captain. The percy obsession coming at the expense of disrespecting others, artists, specifically for having contrary opinions is seriously going to be the downfall of this fandom, y'all are going to drive ppl away with this bashing, and it better fucking stop.
