Something I really like about Raph and Leo’s relationship is that Raph noticeably doesn’t hold back with Leo nearly as much as he does with Donnie and Mikey, and it’s really nice to see that from him.
Leo too would frequently fall into a natural strategist and second-in-command role of sorts, often actually giving his worries and thoughts to Raph where he wouldn’t normally.
Then the Shredder happens and this dynamic is thrown into a loop where they both stay solidly in their own camps of “we’re heroes, it’s our duty” and “we’re teens, who cares?” And during this, Raph not holding back from Leo is cranked up to an eleven and Leo flips around to mask more with Raph than he ever had before and deliberately riles Raph up so that fights are all but guaranteed.
Post-invasion, it’s clear they’re (mostly) back to how they were before for the most part, with an added level of respect and maturity (and trauma) there too, and it’s great to see because they’re an amazing duo when they’re on the same wavelength.

I also want to talk about how Tubbo is so accepting of Sunny’s death now bc he was talking about it for a while.
Personally, I found it as a codependency thing of “if you die I die” because he’s no longer afraid of death or the people he leaves behind. When he pulled himself out of the lava the only person waiting for him was sunny. Most people barley have him a second glance when they saw him again, just saying “I thought you died” before going back to their daily lives. Acting like nothing substantial happened.
Tubbo now knows that no one cares enough for him to even make sure that sunny is okay. The signs on his bedroom wall were testament to that. If he dies again, he won’t be going alone. He won’t let sunny go through that again. They have a suicide pact after all

Toxic codependency and mutually assured destruction is quite often seen as something vicious and sharp and cruel. But what if it was the opposite.
What if it was soft and sweet and loving. What if instead kisses that leave skin bloody and raw it was a gentle peck on the lips. What if there wasn't hate or greed rather sonething kinder. What if every brush of skin was a silent 'I love you don't leave me I can't live with out you'.
Maybe instead of blood and jagged nails it was feather-light touches and rustling leaves. What if instead of fire it was sickness. Creeping through the soul and hollowing out your insides so flowers can grow from your heart.
Looking and eachother and knowing that if this person was gone you wouldn't be able to function or so much as breathe. You would simply lie down and not move until your body was covered in oleanders and moss and your soul found a home again with the earthworms.
what if toxic codependency was a love so deep you could drown in it? Or something

The codependency issue:
(probs not a popular opinion but...meh)
Steddie break up after a couple of months because of how codependent Steve and Robin are. Eddie's fed up because he never gets time with Steve without her, unless they're literally going to be intimate. Even then, Robin makes a face and a jokes about it, while Steve laughs and walks her to the door.
Eddie can handle that, kind of, but he can't handle it a few days later when Robin stays in the bed with them after a night of watching movies. It's the first proper fight that he had with Steve, and they don't even see each other for a couple of weeks, let alone talk.
When the kids ask, Steve and Robin have wound themselves up to the point where they think that Eddie was being really controlling, and as a consequence the kids are all pissed at Eddie, who disappears off the radar.
Nothing much changes until Robin gets a girlfriend, and is instantly spending less time with Steve. Instead of being together 24/7, she's suddenly busy all the time and Steve feels lost without her. They have a fight about this too.
'You were with me and Eddie all the time' versus 'I'm allowed to want privacy Steve'.
He bumps into Eddie, who's very upset when Steve tells him how they're fighting too. 'I get called an asshole for wanting to hang out with my boyfriend alone, but it's fine for Robin to want the same with her girlfriend? Screw you both, man.' He says, and walks off, blaming them for turning the kids against him.
Steve's reeling by all this. He feels like he's being abandoned by everyone he loves, and ends up working through a six pack with Hopper, who gives him fatherly advice.
Steve wants everyone to be happy all of the time, Hopper says, and sometimes it's not possible. Nobody is entirely in the wrong, but Steve is gonna have to talk to them both to explain how he feels, and see how they feel. Hopper also makes a gentle point of saying that Steve might feel like he has to give people whatever they want so that they stay with him, which is probably a consequence of his parents abandoning him.
Steve goes to Eddie first, and it takes less than a minute for him to start bawling his eyes out. Eddie crumbles too, he was genuinely upset about losing Steve, and after a long talk they decide to try again, but with boundaries in place.
It takes a few days for Steve to work up the nerve to talk to Robin, and she immediately apologises too. Her girlfriend had pointed the same things out to her about their codependency, and she was similarly embarrassed by how she'd treated Steve and Eddie and indirectly contributed to their break up.
Things are a little awkward for a while, but they're fully patched up by the time Robin and her girlfriend head off to college together.
Steve and Eddie stay in Hawkins for a while, saving up to go on a long road trip around the country in style. They end up in Robin's college state and hang out for a while before going their separate ways again until the following summer.

i need someone to be as insane about my apocalypse jayrose as me
“You can just…” the words are hoarse, quiet, barely more than a croak; “you can just...keep going without me.”
Rose looks over at him, panting heavily. The veins of his face are pitch-black by now, green eyes dulled to a dark gray. It doesn’t look like he’s breathing, or even alive. “What?”
“Just…” Jason takes in a ragged breath, entire body shaking with it. She thinks she hears his ribs rattle. “Go on without me.”
That’s not an option in her mind. Maybe once, long ago, when they first found each other. But not now. Not when they’re so close to somewhere they’ll finally be safe. Not when Jason’s all she has now, all she’s ever had. Leaving him behind isn’t an option. No matter what. Infected or not, it’s both of them. Always. “Fat fucking chance,” she breathes out.

My favourite thing about the buffy fandom is that the show is filled with evil awful men who consistently drag Buffy down and make her miserable but fandom will ignore all that to focus on a few of the traumatized child soldiers who are either orphans or have abusive parents and they'll be like hmm actually THIS character sucks and is the worst because they were not nice to Buffy. If I ignore everything else and focus only on a handful of episodes it proves that they were horrible people the entire time and Buffy deserves better. The only one who was REALLY there for Buffy is MY fave.
(Their faves tend to spend a solid third of their screen time being misogynistic but shhhh no trust me he GETS Buffy like no one else. It's a special romantic bond, dark gothic horror or whatever. He calls her a bitch 10 times but look how sad he is when she finally snaps.)
Like absolutely Buffy deserves better she deserves therapy and a fresh start and healthy boundaries but we simply wouldn't have a show if they weren't all messed up kids with ptsd who hurt each other horribly and the love that saves them is also what dooms them, an endless vicious cycle until the whole city collapses. They start off as friends and end up as... something else. Buffy and Xander and Dawn are family and no matter what happens or how shitty they are to each other at times nothing can change that loyalty. It doesn't matter if x or y deserves better they're never going to go searching for it they've simply been through too much trauma for anyone else to come close! Willow would need an entire other post to summarize the friendship development she and Buffy go through but it's so good exactly because of how it goes from sweet to pure pain and grief.
Everyone is free to like and dislike whoever they want but I do feel bad for people who genuinely hate Buffy's friends because what a miserable way to watch the show considering what a huge part of it they are lmao. Yeah yeah Angel and Spike scarred her for life and their love is so powerful whatever. Willow literally will not let Buffy stay dead she is going to get an A in best friend sidekick, something that is normal to want and possible to achieve. Buffy has no choice in this she's the hero so get your ass out of heaven girl we need you to pose and fight monsters so Willow can pretend to have self esteem. Oh you got shot? Walk it off bullet fixed. You might be needed later if the one who healed you decides not to kill the entire world.
Cordelia and Anya take turns being the funniest and most refreshingly straightforward person on the show. Tara is genuinely lovely and I am so sorry Willow and the Scoobies happened to her but it is very nice that they all get a kind friend who stays kind until the end. Dawn is so fascinating her life is a horror story and she wasn't even real at first or there at all for the first four seasons and yet I clap and cheer whenever Buffy gets extra violent with the people that hurt her. Xander... yeah no I get the Xander hate fully he's exhausting especially as a teen. But the fact that the mental wellbeing of two of the most powerful people on this planet is tied to the aliveness of Just Some Guy? It's delightful. He made friends with a shy autistic girl in kindergarten and they later both trauma bonded to Buffy and it saved the world. Amazing.

"It's annoying how much of Disco Elysium fandom is shipping!"
I mean, sure, but somebody drawing smooches doesn't necessarily mean they didn't enjoy the haunting, beautiful writing; deeper messages; well-rounded characters; or the wonderful world of Elysium that was loving crafted over a decade then cruelly stolen by money-grabbing fuckwits
"I mean they're cops! And horrible people!"
Babes, I'm a Metal Gear Solid fan: I have been 👀ing at the fat tits of dudes who should be locked in a concrete box and dropped in the sea for the good of humanity long before 2019, as is the nature of faggotry
