Okay so like

This is first of all very cool and immediately terrifying. Anyone who knows d20 history and extended lore (Exandria) was frothing at the mouth. Aabria's going to make us all suffer this season and it'll be glorious.

But. I've been seeing people debate on who the "air" GM is going to be, because at this point we have to round out the set. There have been some good suggestions, but one I'd kill to see is Connie Chang. Not only because the Transplanar brainrot is all-consuming, but because Connie muthafuckin Chang has a great storytelling niche of "fucked up deities" and I would pay an embarrassing amount of dollars to see him bring that energy + weird queer chaos to the dome.

In light of what happened last night (and what's been happening, let's be honest) I'm going to linking ttrpg shows centering LGBT people of color! I'll be adding to this list with reblogs as I find more!

1. Transplanar: An all trans, mostly POC and POC led team playing fun D&D in a fantasy world with NO colonialism or imperialism. The players play witty and emotionally driven characters and Connie is an amazing DM. I'm not too far into Transplanar but they're amazing!

2. The Seven, by Dimension 20

Run by Brennan Lee Mulligan, The Seven are a wonderful group, many of who are trans, LGBT people of color, playing a group of high school adventurers trying to graduate in the face of a quest so dangerous it could tear the multiverse - and worse, their friend group - apart. Heartwarming, ride-or-die found family, with incredible humor and brilliant character moments and original combats. Highly highly recommend, and you don't necessarily need to get into D20's other shows to enjoy this one, although many take place in the same world.

3. Misfits and Magic: run by the amazing Aabria Iyengar, a magical boarding school set D&D campaign with I think the premise of taking that genre back from people who don't deserve it. I personally haven't watched this one yet but I've seen Aabria kill it in other games so I definitely recommend it! Can't personally speak to its contents yet but maybe I'll be able to update this soon!

I'll be adding more as I find them, but please support smaller LGBT & POC-centered ttrpg shows! They would treasure your support and they're fantastic to watch.

Here I go drawing on animating apps again. Anyways I have been listening to Transplanar rpg dnd stuff. Highly recommend. Pro going to draw Dragon-ish Vee. I’m on Arc 3 please no spoilers! I’ve been binging it. Prob, Some Hyperfixation? Idk Add thing. I have been listening to it almost non-stop the past almost 2 weeks. Connie is inspiring me to Gm a session.
