Vintage Pride Shirts - Pride 2023

This year for pride I’m taking inspiration from the pride protests and figures of history. This set includes 18 unisex t-shirts all made from real designs from the 70s-90s.

CREDIT: These shirts were made using meshes from @its-adrienpastel, who graciously allows meshes to be included in recolors. The fem mesh uses their Talia T-Shirt, and the masc mesh uses their Repeat T-Shirt. You do not need to download these for my recolors to work, but you should definitely still check out their CC if you haven’t. 

Note: To honor the real history here, I am choosing not to translate any of the text into Simlish. This is rare for me, and I know a lot of people hate English text in the game, so just know that I almost never do anything in exclusively English like this.

I was trying to recreate my home in TS4 recently and when I went looking for wall mounted pride flags, I found the options limited.

I didn't feel like grabbing an alpha mesh from TSR and the ones already in game didn't suit what I needed so I set about doing a mesh edit of the flags from University. Learned that I'm not anywhere near ready to mess with object animations after remapping the flag failed to change what parts of the mesh were being animated (vertex animation? weight paint? I can't figure out what actually controls the animated regions) so I moved the mesh over to a base game object for now.

Anyways, I eventually got my mesh working but it's static for now. Maybe I'll come back to animating it sometime but it's good enough. Expect a proper post and download link within the next few days :)

7 Sins Legacy - generation 4 (pride)

Supriya's wedding dress arrived in time for the wedding and it was better than she could have ever imagined. The wedding took place in Myshuno Meadows central park that had been completely transformed to accommodate one of the biggest weddings in this legacy so far. They had invited over 30 guests (which is quite a lot in sims terms, because imagine trying to get all these guests to behave when you just want your sims to get married), and by the time everyone had arrived and was sort of seated, the sun was already setting. But this turned out the best scenario because the sunset made the sky turn all shades of pink an purple. It was dark at the end of the ceremony when the fireworks went off which just looked amazing.

Pride Bralette

18 swatches with assorted pride flags. I found this top at Spencer’s and I thought it would be cute for Sims, so here it is. It can be used as a swimsuit top, underwear, or just as an everyday top. 

Pride Bandana (V2)

Back in 2019 I recolored a bandana by waekey in pride flag colors. This is an improved version of that. The texture is better, the flags are all updated, there’s eight additional swatches and most importantly: the gender tags are fixed so it actually shows up.
