Eddie paused, placed the knife (carefully) next to the chopping board, and turned to reply to Buck in what he hoped was a calm voice. "I'm sorry, you want me to do what?"

Okay, so maybe calm was a bit of a stretch.

To Buck's credit, he didn't back down. If anything, he looked even more mulish, arms crossed tightly and teeth digging into his lip so hard Eddie nearly winced in sympathy at the pain he must be feeling.

"I need you to kiss me."

Eddie took a breath. "Okay," he said, leaning back against the sink and mirroring Buck by crossing his arms. "Hearing that a second time didn't make it any clearer, so I'm gonna need you to explain it for me a bit more, Buck."

Last song: Dynasty by Rina Sawayama (I was just binge-listening to her albums late at night and it slaps.)

Favorite colors: I'm boring. It's blue lmao.

Currently watching: The Percy Jackson show for now. I think that's pretty much it. (Can't diss the color blue after this)

Last movie: It was during Christmas time and I was watching The Holdovers. Letterboxd gave me a recommendation. It is such a good film, you guys. It's one of the handfuls of contemporary films I enjoyed. With the soundtrack and the vibes, it's everything.

Currently reading: How Do You Live? by Genzaburo Yoshino. It's a Japanese classic - a coming of age story that tackles a lot of life's themes. Also trying to sluggishly finish American Gods by Neil Gaiman. It's a tough book to finish, I'll admit.

Sweet/spicy/savory: Going with savory at the moment. Could use a lot of comfort food lol.

Last thing I Googled: “Slipperiest alcohol”. Trust me, it's for a wip. (C'mon, it's not like I have a handy index of the most slipperiest alcohols!)

Current obsessions: My obsessions literally change every other week. I'd say I'm enjoying some trivia games online and doing more digital art.

Currently working on: Fixing everything lol. Or at least repairing things momentarily. I'm sorry the answer isn't too specific, and that's exactly why. I repaired my eating habits the same way I repaired the chains in my bicycle. Grease. Lots of grease.

I mostly use Spotify now, but I couldn’t figure out how to shuffle all of my songs and doing it via one playlist felt like not following the rules. People You Want to Get to Know Better

I was tagged for this by the lovely @blind-the-winds. You can find their post here. I don't have a full nine people in my taglist that haven't already done this, I don't think, so I'm sending them out to people I know have interacted with me and that I haven't seen tagged yet.

Current Book I'm Reading: I'm currently making my way through the Wordbearers Omnibus from Games Workshop's Black Library. Even though it's a Warhammer 40k series, it's giving me so much inspiration for the more... questionable clerics in Fangthane's Folly.

Last Song I Listened To: Far From Me by Chase Noseworthy. It popped up in my recommended while I was listening to my Titan playlist and it is an amazing Vox Machina fan song. I've popped it into my Emotional Songs playlist since it's a little too specific to put into the Titan one.

Currently Watching: My husband and I are currently going through our annual re-watch of the Netflix Castlevania series. We're having a bunch of fun pointing out the memes and generally just enjoying all the feels of the early parts of season 3. Also we are both so into Striga, it's unreal ^_^;.

Current Fic I'm Reading: I'm not really into any fandoms currently, so I'm not really reading any fanfic at the moment (not unless you count all of @druidx's Titan stuff, which I am re-reading a bunch of)

Next On My Watch List: Most likely a re-watch of Castlevania: Nocturne directly after the original Castlevania series, but after that I'm hoping hubs will indulge me in going through yet another re-watch of Alfabusa's If The Emporer Had a Text-To-Speech Device, including all the voxcasts and shorts and random segues. It's such a fun series. Even if you're not into Warhammer 40k, it is a really fun satire series. Just be aware that the creator had to abandon the project due to Games Workshop fuckery (if you guys thought the WotC stuff was bad... oof) and currently has no plans to return to it.

Current Obsession: At the moment I'm obsessed with two things: youtube disaster documentaries and my many, many WIPs, which now include a 'what if' AU thing I wrote the week before I took over the Destiny's New Servants campaign way back when that I plan to clean up a bit and possibly share. It's nothing more than a snippet, but , y'know. As for the disaster documentaries, that's just a recurring obsession that's randomly popped back up.

Frost Ice (No frost, only ice)

Stella watched a whirlwind of emotions swirl their way across Indre's features at Nilions words. A splash of confusion, a dash of anger, and a wisp of fear. Frustration, annoyance, nervousness, determination, all vying for a place within her eyes, before she tightened her shoulders and the emotions vanished behind the kind of mask that Stella had seen soldiers wear hundreds of times.

"Then if you're heading for the basement, you'd best be on your way, girl," Indre ordered, a bite of ice in her tone that had Stella backing up another step in spite of herself.

Dust

If she hadn’t already known that the building was a base for a guild, the moment that her booted feet sank into a thick plush carpet would have told Stella something wasn’t right.

No dust rose around her as she stepped across the room, and the bed in the corner had fresh sheets. She paused at the door, listening intently for any movement on the other side, and when all she could make out was silence, Stella slipped out of the room and into a wide hallway with various doors scattered along both sides and a flight of stairs at the far end.

Burst

"Time to call the mother hen, then," he grumbled, "get Dara's fussing out of the way sooner rather than later."

"Honestly, you could do with some mother henning," Stella teased, "you look like shit."

He gaped at her for a moment in surprise, until she burst into delighted giggles, and he took a single self indulgent moment to just watch the blonde laugh before he forced a scowl on to his face, despite the ache it sent through his cuts and bruises.

"Thank you, Stella, you really know how to stroke a mans ego," he growled, sending her into fresh peals of laughter as he shook his head...

West

There was a flicker of recognition in his expression before his features settled back into stoic indifference, and Stella snatched her hands away and took a step back, stuttering an apology.

"Ah, you're Reilly's newest project," the elf said, leaning his shoulder against the doorframe, and crossing his arms as he studied her, "I thought he'd have you shut up inside a glass box, protected from even the mere mention of 'Vine'."

9 Favorite TV Shows (that I don’t always talk about)

I got tagged by @blairwaldcrf​ - and am gonna take a page from their book, because this list is just always the same. So. Cutting out all the shows I always talk about anyway.

(The 9 that are on the obvious main list: Buffy, Relic Hunter, Leverage, Once Upon a Time, Shadowhunters, Sailor Moon, One Piece, Teen Wolf, Charmed)

These are in no particular order because it’d break my brain to actually rank them!

1. Community

One of my favorite comedies! It is so silly, but it is also very consistent - it does drop a little in the later seasons, but I love the originality of the show in the overall.

2. The Nanny

My all-time favorite comedy show. I used to rewatch all the re-runs. One of the down-sides of streaming is that you no longer just... end up watching reruns (also so much content, no real time for casual rewatches, I should make the time for another rewatch). Will they/won’t they rom-coms all around the world want what Max and Fran had. Jealous bitches want to be CC but never will be. No butler has ever sassed like Niles.

3. Hustle

I love this show a lot! It is severely underrated! It’s if Leverage was a band of British bastards who steal for themselves and break the fourth wall. I love them a lot. I think everyone who loves Leverage should go and watch Hustle too, honestly. It’s about the found family and the con.

4. Grey’s Anatomy

Listen, this show isn’t perfect, it has flaws, but anything that has run for 19 years has to have flaws. But I love it so much - and the friendship between Cristina and Meredith is quite frankly absolutely amazing. The way they prioritize each other, and the way their partners accept that? And so many more things I love about this show.

5. Stargate SG-1

Genuinely my favorite scifi show. It is so well-written with such compelling characters and arcs and just genuinely so funny, it has no right to still hold up so well and be that funny - and I’m saying that as someone who didn’t grow up on it and only discovered it a couple years ago.

6. Recess

My comfort cartoon from my childhood. I loved this as a kid so very, very much and it still brings me a lot of joy and warm childhood memories to rewatch.

7. Kekkai Sensen

I can’t explain this one. I hate blood/violence in anime, I usually skip these parts. I don’t know. But I have so much love for this anime. I regularly find myself rewatching it because I love it so much (though also, admittedly, due to its short length. Can’t casually pop in a full rewatch of One Piece).

8. Kuroko no Basuke

Favorite of the sports anime! An absolute classic. The color-coded basketball monster boys! It also masters length quite well, to be honest? Many either stretch out the length of games far too long (side-eyeing later seasons of Haikyuu), or more recent anime that just... cut everything so very short and speedrun through it all a little too much? I think KnB has the right balance to stretch it out but keep you in suspense.

9. Shadow & Bone

And you know what! Another ongoing show, beside Grey’s. I really do love SaB a lot, what can I say. I’m weak for flawed fantasy shows with great characters.
