Off the top of my head, I think I’m going to go with Laurel, one of my TW OCs. I just put her through way too much from being an orphan to having to leave her home, but at least she has her aunt, brother, friends, and Liam! It’s the least I can do on my end!

I’m rewatching stuff and noticed it’s a big thing.

Vampire diaries: Elena should never be in a car. Girl should have to just walk around.

Pretty little liars: Hanna gets hit, a car go through Emily’s house, Spencer and Melissa get hit by some rando (could’ve been A Marlene).

Ravenswood (🙄): Miranda dies when car goes off bridge (Elena did it first 😏)

Glee: The horrible “don’t text and drive” reminder that they did to Quinn

Veronica Mars: I’m counting the car bomb with Logan even if they were adults at the time

The OG 90210 (which is the shit btw!): Brandon was the first of many crashes in the show (season 1 episode 11)

Did that make kids afraid of driving? I’m sure older teen shows and even adult shows showed it, but this is about as far back as I could think of off the top of my head.
