That is the reality of people in Gaza, due to constant hostility by Israeli forces. Over 20,000 people are dead. Millions have been displaced. This isn’t the action of a government trying to simply deal with terrorists. This is the action of a government trying to erase an entire population to take their land. This holiday season, don’t get distracted by holiday deals and celebrity events. They are trying to distract us, to make our speaking about the Palestinian people a trend. Don’t let them. Show them that power comes from people coming together and shouting from the rooftops against atrocity.

Meh. Stupid move and disappointing but in the grand scheme of things…? His money is probably doing a lot worse things in the world than buying a cup of coffee. As is yours and mine, just on a much smaller scale. What he should have done is spoken up and used his voice to show support much earlier.

Also fwiw, it’s important to know why people are boycotting Starbucks - the original call to boycott was because Starbucks sued a union in Iowa for trademark infringement in their posts in support of Palestine. Not for directly funding genocide.

I just love the fact that a bunch of other social media platforms are going under and somehow Tumblr is coming out in top. Like, first, everyone jumps ship from Twitter because Elon bought it, then Reddit went apeshit, and it’s just amazing. Can’t wait until Insta or TikTok screw up and it just gets better and better.

actually cannot fucking stand when people take a serious issue & say bc of it's seriousness you have to do/not do minor thing that barely influences the issue as if it's akin to active support.

right there with you mate terra swoop force is ableist because i can't process what i'm seeing quickly so it literally looks like a flat wall coming towards the screen. the solution is clearly to take to twitter like the brave activists we are and @ noxcrew and scott in endless threads until we end their reign of ableism once and for all.
