saw ppl talking about this on twatter last night, but doesn't the fact that lilia said he just picked a random date for his birthday when he enrolled at NRC imply he... didn't really ever celebrate his birthday before he started going to school there? if he picked the date when he enrolled, that means there wasn't a date he'd already been celebrating his birthday on before then, right? so did silver and mal and bekky never celebrate his birthday before he started going to NRC?? and we know the queen took him in when he was an orphan, did she just not like give him a day he could celebrate for his birthday?? did mallenoa and levan and the queen never celebrate his birthday growing up?? if they had done so, then he would've already had a date he could've jotted down on his enrollment forms, but he apparently didn't so???

is that why he always plans a celebration for silver's bday and (*sometimes) puts a lot of consideration in what he gets for people, because he wants these children to be able to enjoy something he never got to growing up??

I am waiting and saving for Malleus’ dorm- whatsoever I don’t think/know if I am going the right way-

Okie imma give u a tip that saved me: do weekly missions. Do them every single week. And log in every day.

I know it sounds like a lot but honestly? It's not. If u can't/don't wanna play that day u log in just to receive your daily login bonus (which are a lot of stuff but sometimes a week they give u some gems); weekly missions are not hard either, just do your exams one by one. This is important, if u do all 5 at once it will count as if u only did 1 exam! They also ask u to clear 5 twistunes but you don't need to play them. You can just have the twistune playing in the background as you do something else, and it will count as if it was cleared!! They ask u to do a specific number of lessons so do those as well!! Then you'll have weekly 120 gems (I think?? I don't remember actually but it's a good amount of gems) guaranteed!

Since u don't mind playing twistunes over and over, highly recommend doing those, I don't bc I don't really like trying to challenge myself on harder levels (I'm not a player I just like twst bc it's story focused). Also do your best to read as many vignettes as you can! Since u read Idia's uniform vignette you already know but each one gives u 5 gems!!

Also also, on Sam's shop, on the gem shop part, buy the tenfold key set! It'll give u a tenfold key for like 250 gems I believe while tenfold pulls ask for 300 gems! So it's totally worth it!

Other than that, just keep reading the main story and try your best to resist pulling on most banners unless u really want that card!! I hope you can get Malleus💙

Hello, I saw you had a post or two about how to buy gems in the JP version of Twst but can't find it now.

I tried using a Japanese VPN but it still says all my payments aren't available in my country.

I need 9 more pulls so I can get Leona's birthday card and they don't keep those around long. 😭 Any info you can provide will be appreciated. Thank you!

No panic no panic, you have until 1st of August for Leona Birthday mirror banners :3

That means you can get your daily logins + weekly missions (although weekly missions will be very very last minute) for free jewels. Also, have you completed the Training Camp and got all the jewels there ?

About buying jewels for JP version, first thing first:

the payment method is controlled by Android or Apple, not by the game, so you need to update the country of your payment method in Google Account / Apple Login,

I suggest your create a new account in Japan rather than update your current one (you can use this JP account for most games you'd like in JP stores + bonus is that you won't need an apk or qooapp to download games anymore as this JP account will propose you the entirety of the JP apps available as if you were Japanese)

just use an email address you do not already have account for, create account, and say you live in Japan > if you do not have a Tenso address, you can pick any postal address for it (easiest option is to pick an hotel with their phone number),

then, once the account is created, it will ask you for your payment method and if you're on your phone on Android, it will probably synch with Google Pay if you already have it, or you can just use your international credit card (if both don't work, you can buy pre-paid Play Store cards same as for iOS) | for iOS it might be naughty and ask you for a JP credit card so you'd better buy pre-paid Apple Store credits on Playasia and input the pre-paid card number into your account instead (I've personally used this method several times),

all along, you do not need to use VPN, it's mostly about the details contained in your billing information :3

WARNING : the fact that we lie about our domicile in Japan means we can't claim after-sale services from the game or from Google (I haven't heard about any major issue on this, but better give a heads-up so that Leona knows how much trouble you're going thru for him)

and omg yes okay delusion’s tip guide to getting gems! (really long, i’m sorry i got carried away 😭)

1. be very selective about which ssrs you want; plan ahead for events. there’s a reddit thread i found where someone who plays twst jp ordered out all the card events in when they came out, specifically when they’re likely to come out in en as a model. here it is.

2. DAILY LOGINS !!! even if you’re really busy, just try and sign into the app for just 2 seconds even, because every other login or so gives you gems.

2a) another bonus to the logins is that for every 100 daily logins, you get a key! (personally i think we should get more for a 100 logins, but eh what can you do)

3. weekly missions! obvi, i know, but 60 gems per week is not a bad deal!

4. twistunes are your lord and savior. even if you’re not good at them, you get rewards for just replaying them! (5 gems for the first 5 replays of a twistune, 10 for the first 10.) and, if you practice enough, you’ll get 5 gems per mode of difficulty depending on the challenge. i’ve made myself learn to like them; for the good of the gacha roll!

4a) until you hit a certain point of replays, general missions also give you gems for completing 20 twistunes at a time. 20 twistunes = 10 gems. if i dont have the energy for playing them, i just let the twistune run through until the end over and over; the game still counts that as a playthrough.

5. TRADE ITEMS FOR KEYS!!

5a) every month in the gems shop, there is an offer to trade 250 gems for one 10 key pull. always buy it if you have the gems for it. it saves you 50 gems. there is also an option to buy a key-lesson bundle. buy that too if you can.

5b) the exam token shop also has offers for keys. once a month, you can trade 50 gems for one key. you can also trade 150 tokens for a key (2 available at this price per month.)

6. EVENTS!! events almost always have shops where you can purchase keys. take advantage of this. play the events, collect the items, get those keys!! they also sell other useful items like spell materials and awakening perfumes, but the keys and groovy items for event cards should be your priority

6a) current real life example of this: ghost bride shop. 3 keys are currently available!

7) vignettes are worth your time! (obvi ik 😭) not the vignettes for student uniform rare cards, but the vignettes for all srs, ssrs, and rare pe uniforms give you 5 gems per chapter for reading them !

8) lessons level up ur player rank, for each five levels u go up, you get 10 gems!! tbh, a lot of general missions like doing specific subject exams (10 exams per subject = 10 gems, generally), give you gems! general missions = love

9) just because you get a 10-key from a character’s bday does not mean you have to use it! sorry cater riddle sebek and other miscellaneouses, i dont love you enough to waste a ten-key on you 😔

Love how during my twst hyperfixation so far, I've obsessed over a different character every week. At first it was leona. Then malleus. Then epel. And now it's jade. I really can't stick to a favorite out of these guys huh
