Plus size creator creates petition to try and force airlines to offer larger passengers bigger seats | Daily Mail Online

Jaelynn Chaney, a travel and lifestyle creator based in Vancouver, wants the Federal Aviation Authority to 'protect' plus-sized travelers and make flying in coach 'comfortable and accessible for everyone.'

As plus-size travelers, my partner and I have unfortunately experienced discrimination and discomfort while flying,' she wrote in her petition, which has been signed by around 4,300 people as of Saturday afternoon.

She added: 'All plus-size passengers should be provided with an extra free seat, or even two or three seats depending on their size, to accommodate their needs and ensure their comfort during the flight.'

Chaney admits that price tickets would have to rise if she were to get her way, and concedes non-overweight passengers could be faced with higher ticket prices to help cover improvements.

About three quarters of the nct nation movie was actually so much fun i recognized all the songs except the dream songs lmao there were a lot of ppl but not many with light sticks and half of them were in my row and there was even another leekbong !!! I was woo-ing so much during the wayv parts really showing up for my weishens and turned my lightstick off during nct dream parts that was my compromise for not actively booing but they got a big cheer unfortunately. there was a gaggle of dreamzens behind me it was really annoying but i made up for it by talking to my friend at full volume the entire time they were on screen explaining the intricacies of nct politics. The biggest sing along bits were kick it and 2 baddies and lets play ball ?? ppl do love kick it i have to give it to them. But there was no love talk OR kick back i believe in the power love talk couldve had. another one of sm's scheming little tricks. But to be fair i dont think they included dream's popular songs either. Phantom was also the best looking stage by farrrrr if i didnt know better i would accuse them of wayv favouritism lmao. i was also surprised at how big of a reaction yangyang got??? he had some of the biggest cheers like on par with ty and jaemin but he had less screentime we really do love pink yang. To me him and xiaojun were the most striking on the big screen. And jaehyun is soooo handsome sorry he got me again. And what else. They shouldve gotten rid of that animation in between clips thats like listen to nct and develop parasocial bonds buy more posters and dont be sad. they couldve fit in like four more songs. OH and it pissed me OFF that they included ty's solo song id never heard the full thing before and it was actually just as bad as i imagined its crazy how he managed to not sing AT ALL the whole song and also barely dance. and my friend said it was worse than sticker so congrats to the geniuses at sm for giving this dipshit the first solo mini 👍

thinking about the convention i signed up for where i plan to sell physical copies of Suddence and i'm scared!! that no one (aside from my friends maybe) will buy my books!! and it's not in a self depreciating "woe my book isn't good enough" way. it's just that once you've been to enough convention,s you realize original stuff is hard to sell, and the vendors with books are the ones with the least amount of action and interest. i DO have other stuff for sale at my table (it's actually 90% other stuff) so it's not like i'd be ignored completely but that doesn't mean it wouldn't hurt to see ppl look at everything on my table EXCEPT my book. i'm just 😳😳😳 how many physical copies do i even bring. how do i market it more. ah.

#my classmate and acquaintance (though he seems to actually like me more than several closer friends. i like him too but he's so busy it's #hard to hang out often) is a super prominent member of the local furry community; he met remy boydell by sitting next to her on an airplane #(that's how we all learned she's also a Vancouverite; since then I've met her at a convention but i only know her as a fan of her work)#they became friends and exchanged socials and shit and realized they've been basically neighbors this whole time lol #and obviously remy boydell has made lots of art for car seat headrest and was thanked as an inspiration on the 2cd of twin fantasy

it is actually incredibly fucked up to require people be encased in three thousand pounds of machinery to be in public. I should be able to exist on my street, in the dark, without fearing for my life. I should be able to do so even if I am blind or deaf or using a walker. I should be able to walk to the local grocer without darting across six lanes of traffic. My children should be able to ride their bike in public spaces without the fear of becoming a smear on someone's bumper. There is no excuse for how rampant car culture has become in north american urban areas. Make it make sense.
