Honestly kataang is just so bland even if you don't ship zutara. Realistically I see Aang to be the type to have many different lovers with his free spirit rather than only be with one person the rest of his life. Katara too would want to make a name for herself rather than being overshadowed by Aang and considered just the avatars wife .

THIS is exactly the kind of shit that makes even zutara shippers hate other zutara fans.

Stop sending Kataang hate to people who literally just fucking said they like Kataang and believe they're a good match. Nobody fucking asked for your shit opinion.

Also how the fuck would Katara be "overshadowed" by Aang when:

1 - He is the reason she got to see the world and become a powerful bender who saved a lot of people, plenty of which barely interacted with Aang. She then became his waterbending teacher and he called her Sifu.

2 - Aang was the one to give her hope for a better world, and she then did the same to him by giving him emotional support when he lost everyone.

3 - If it wasn't for her, the Avatar cycle would have been over for good and the Fire Nation would have won the war and killed everyone.

Literally nothing in the show erases Katara's importance in her own rights. In fact, we see that her relationship with Aang, regardless of romance, it's one of mutual love and support.

Denying how important he is to her and pretending she was never treated with respect by him/was overshadowed won't make their relationship less meaningful OR make Zutara less fanon.

It's been nearly two decades, people. Stop lying to yourselves and above all stop expecting the whole fandom to agree with you. You're not fucking special just because you ship zutara.

Jaelynn Chaney, a travel and lifestyle creator based in Vancouver, wants the Federal Aviation Authority to 'protect' plus-sized travelers and make flying in coach 'comfortable and accessible for everyone.'

As plus-size travelers, my partner and I have unfortunately experienced discrimination and discomfort while flying,' she wrote in her petition, which has been signed by around 4,300 people as of Saturday afternoon.

She added: 'All plus-size passengers should be provided with an extra free seat, or even two or three seats depending on their size, to accommodate their needs and ensure their comfort during the flight.'

Chaney admits that price tickets would have to rise if she were to get her way, and concedes non-overweight passengers could be faced with higher ticket prices to help cover improvements.

Lol well you're the one that's on my blog, so clearly at least one person reads my crap.

On a more serious note, I decided to actually respond to this dumbass message rather than delete it like I usually do with trolls like this, because I think it's important to address my commission prices for those wondering why I set them at the price I do.

I know that my prices are higher than what a lot of people charge here on Tumblr. But that's not because I think I'm better then them or anything. It's because a lot of people here DRASTICALLY under-charge for their amazing work to appease people like this. Writers especially, I can't believe how little some of these amazing writers charge for their commissions compared to artists. And you know, I'm even a little guilty of this too. The prices per word that I charge are less than half of what I make in my professional writing. But I know that a lot of people who read my works are young adults who may not have as much disposable income and I wanted to still keep my commission prices in the realm of possibility for them.

Thaaat being said, I know what my time is worth at a minimum. And I put A LOT of time and care into my writing and commissions especially. It's that simple. Any less than this, and I just can't guarantee the quality of work that I'm known for in this community, and that's just not fair when charging people money.

I'm sorry that you can't afford the prices Anon, I really feel for you, times are TOUGH. That's one of the reasons I opened commissions, because times are tough for me too. But it's time we all change our perspective and pay artists and writers what their worth, rather than feeling entitled to custom, professional writing for pennies.

I just had the misfortune of running into someone i went to high school with, and she legit tried to make two disabled people with mobility aids get out of the reserved disability accessible seats so she could put her damn stroller there. Then threw a fit and started THROWING THINGS when i and some other passengers pointed out how fucked up that was. And SOMEHOW has not been kicked off the bus yet. I now remember why i let that friendship die the moment i transferred back out of that school… she just keeps yelling at her mom. If she keeps this up, I’m gonna start saying shit.

A while ago an asshole verbally threatened a food service worker. Threatened, as in, that she would be attacked by said asshole if she was seen walking down the street.

The asshole's 4-5 year old son then ran up to the food service worker and called her a bitch because that's what his parent was doing. To which said parent responded: "I don't need your help."

Before leaving the asshole made racist comments about the business "not paying taxes" despite having come to a flea market in the first place.

And then she threw her food at the food truck.

All while the asshole's husband stood back and watched.

Anyway, moral(s) of the story: Women are just as capable of raising misogynists as their husbands. They don't get to pass off responsibility for their sons just because they're women.

White women can be just as entitled, and just as racist, as white men.

When radfems talk about male violence it's to excuse their complicity in violence against POC. Including other women.

So I was watching videos in which entitled people get taken to jail, because watching people like that get karma is strangely satisfying for me.

It was... honestly getting to the point where I felt like I could easily slap or cuss out any of these people and not feel guilty about it.

I mean, the police are just doing their jobs, what is wrong with these people? They just keep making it worse for themselves!

But I can't do that without getting arrested myself, so I did what any sane artist would do: I projected my feelings onto a fictional character.

I chose Lui, because I feel like he'd act how I feel.

Context: An entitled Karen was being loudly rude to the other officers, so Police Intern Lui Shirosagi stepped in and said a few choice words to the woman that instantly made her shut up. His methods are harsh, but at least the police station has a little more peace and quiet than before.

I don’t know, I just see Lui biting the heads off whichever inmates he feels irritates him the most, then when they threaten to sue him and end his career, he just laughs and says “Joke’s on you - I’m just an intern.”

I’d love to set Lui on a screaming Karen and see how that cat fight plays out. I think I’d start looking for the nearest popcorn vendor.

Do They Really Want Home Ownership?

Many kids are spoiled and entitled. lt seem several young ones don't want the burden, cost, restrictions, responsibility of home ownership. They spend their money on luxury items (rental, clothes, vacations, coffee, expensive colleges, phones...). Unfortunately, they are not saving and, as a result, have little money for a down payment when they want to buy. This is unlike previous generations who were frugal and saved.

They also don't want a starter home (1200 sq ft) but want a upscale house (2500+ sq ft).

Spoiled by low interest rates, ~3%. Note: previously 7% was a low interest rate.

Teach your kids morals, manners, self discipline, etiquette, financial discipline, values... Too many were not taught these lessons and now these adult kids are living at home with there parents still paying their bills.

Some adults are so entitled, tbh. Because it was almost 11pm tonight and I was working on completing a delivery for work, and a guy about late 40s to 50s was having trouble starting his car. He approached me and asked if I could jump his car for him. I responded, "no, sorry, I'm working." And this man was grumbling at me, talking shit to me, etc. And we were in a parking lot with at least seven other cars, maybe more. The business we were at was open. Surrounding businesses within .3 miles were open.

You do not need to be bitching at a very fem presenting person who doesn't want to help a grown ass man at night while they've told you they're working.

Fuck it, I'm gonna say it. Tyzula/Azutara is the Azula fandom's version of Zukka/Zutara. They are the completely fanon things you cannot criticize, be indifferent to, or even like while acknowledging that they're NOT CANON without people full on harrassing you over it - and I say this as someone who LOVES Tyzula. That's how bad it's gotten.

Why is it that EVERY FUCKING TIME this fandom is becoming tolerable, some headcanon/ship starts being forced down everyone's throats, and even we just stick to our corners of the fandom, don't go looking for content with it, and even go as far as blocking the fucking tag and entitled people it STILL barely changes anything because this fandom seems to believe that harrassing other fans is the way to get writers to change canon.

Also:

1 - "Lesbian Azula" has full on become the new "Awkward Turtle Duck Zuko" - started out like a completely normal, fun thing to explore, and devolved into "Write this character EXACTLY the way I invision them, and if you stray even a little bit from it, I'll fucking cut you"

2 - It's VERY funny how saying "I personally don't headcanon Azula as a lesbian, but you do you" is treated as homophobic, but saying that writing her as bisexual is the same as making her completely straight/doesn't count as making her truly like women is NOT treated as biphobic even though that's EXACTLY what it is.

Old people

Masculine presenting people (who tend to stand around with their arms crossed)

Young people who, regardless of gender presentation, appear to be white-passing

My conclusion: entitled people

**It’s important to note that there were people who fit all these categories who were wearing masks. These categories just seem to increase the likelihood of someone not complying to the mask rules

Part 1: "So we have a cat. Not our cat... The neighbours cat, but likes to sleep in our back porch because of the shade and comfort. Me and mom don't mind this. My father decided to sit outside to drink coffee, while doing so, said cat appears and lays in the way of the back door. Father decides to come in and cat still naps in the given place. (every day occurence- we (mom and me) just nudge the cat a little bit or push him and he understands and gets off the way.

My father decided that the best solution is STARTING TO BEAT THE CAT WITH THE DOOR. I ran out and said stop it immediately!!!! Which he screamed at me "WHY SHOULD I !!!!???"

I go inside and started yelling "WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM!? Why are you so angry?"

Reply: " M, YOU SHOULD REALLY CONSIDER YOUR ATTITUDE AND TONE TOWARD ME!!!!!
