7. Which part of writing do you struggle with most?

I find my writing style quite repetitive. I struggle with varying my sentence structure the most.

9. Do you prefer to write AUs, canon divergence, or canon-compliant fic?

I like to try and make my fics conform to canon as best as I can. Does this mean they're always 100% canon compliant? No. But I like canon to be recognisable in my work.

10. Do you enjoy writing dialogue, exposition, or plot the most?

Oh, dialogue for sure. I love writing dialogue to the point I have multiple dialogue-heavy fics and I have been known to struggle adding narrative to balance the dialogue-to-narrative ratio.

13. Is there a trope you wouldn’t write if it was the last trope on earth?

Most sex tropes. A/B/O specifically comes to mind.

30. Tell us an idea for a longfic you want to write in the future.

Hoo boy.

I'm not sure if I've mentioned this fic idea anywhere on my blog before, but the longfic I am dying to write is set post-Cold Day In Hell arc, and diverges from canon just before the Grips of Strength arc.

Axel, out of Iron Heights thanks to the CCPD building a case against Warden Wolfe, is bored. Despite being out of IHP, he's still in custody, just protective custody. He's only out of his 'room' to speak to officers and lawyers. Then, one day, Captain Singh asks if he'd like to speak to someone.

"What, like a shrink?"

"Not necessarily."

And that's how Axel ends up meeting up with Hartley Rathaway, ex-Rogue and Rogue-support group leader. Axel is incredibly reluctant and suspicious at first, but over time, he and Hartley bond and Hartley gets Axel involved in some more constructive hobbies, even if he can't dissuade him away from being a Rogue.

It's a fic I'm desperate to see written but also don't feel like my writing is good enough to do justice. ;--; I am still drafting little bits of it occasionally. Maybe one day it'll get done.

My dad met a woman in Belarus and then flew her to Turkey and moved her into our summer house....while he was still married to my mum and then told this to ME instead of her in high school.  They haven’t spoken to each other since.

Now my grandfather is a respected conservative academic (former YÖK).  They are not bffs but he knows Erdogan.  So then as you can imagine this was a big scandal in the family which led to my dad being almost disowned 😂 AND the fact that he only married her BC he knocked her up did not help.  At all.

My dad’s side is honestly all AKP and quite unpleasant...except I have this one cool cousin, he rocks.  I had the time of my life when he came and stayed with us for a whole summer and shadowed my dad (who is a doctor) when I was in middle school and he was in med school.  Except then he had a summer fling with my music teacher who was a ...very modern, shall we say, woman, and when his parents found out they never ever let him stay with us again 🙈

His current wife still doesn’t know about this which i find doubly hilarious

My favorite pet was this german shepherd we had while I was a kid.  But then he stayed with my dad after the shenanigans in #2.  One day we heard from a former neighbor that my dad was not taking good care of the dog so my mom orchestrated a rescue mission in which we DROVE to my og hometown, got the dog (who always liked my mum more tbh and was happy to come) and drove off.  The dog lived his last years very happily and well looked after at my (maternal) uncle’s farm and my dad only found out about this last year LOL
