A Goblin Market isn't for the faint of heart, especially not one this big.

Goblins of all shapes and sizes hawks their wares at the tops of their voices to be heard over the constant dull roar of conversations and objects clattering together; in addition to all of the sights and the smells to be had, both good and bad.

Thick and heady steam from the food vendors mixes with the dank animal musk of the livestock traders, the rank stench of leather tanning, and the sour bubbling of fermenting goods. It all swirls together with the perfumes and incense for sale until there is an absolutely snout obliterating miasma that settles over the market like a blanket.

Zeb gagged, clapping his hands over his nose and refusing to take a single step closer to the noisy, filthy menagerie of shops and stalls. His eyes were watering, stomach churning, suddenly dizzy with over stimulation he stumbled back to the entrance tunnel and half collapsed on the floor.

You rubbed his back gently as he took gulps of relatively clean air with all the ferocity of a drowning man fighting to keep his head above water.

"How... how are you not s-sick too?" He says, now lightheaded on top of being dizzy and everything else.

"Do you know how many diapers I've changed? How many number two's have destroyed my nose? How many buckets of animal crap I've had to scoop every day?" Your smile is wry. "You'll get used to it after awhile but here, this should help."

You hand him a wooden mask, grown not carved into the shape of a rabbit's face. It smells like summer days full of warm sun, cut grass, and chlorine choked pools.

"...what is it?" He shies away from the mask, eyes narrowed and suspicious. He can feel the raw magic curling off of it like smoke and he wants no part of it.

"It's a charm my mom made, it should help with the overstim some, it won't hurt you I promise." You rub your thumb over the mask's cheek where the wood has gone smooth and shiny from too much loving, there are tear tracks burnt into it, where acid tears ate away at the still living wood.

"...do I have to wear it?" Zeb takes the mask, gingerly as if afraid it would grow teeth and bite him.

"No, I just thought it might help." You stand up and dust yourself off. "If this place is too much I could just zap us home if you like, I don't wanna stress you out."

"N-no!" Zeb cries out, you flinch at his outburst and watch him flinch back in sympathy. His eyes sweep across the market with the same wonder and joy you've seen a million million times but will never tire of. "I... I'll wear it, we're here to get stuff for Egg and Null right? I wanna get them stuff too, so I can say I'm sorry."

He puts the mask on, and it fits like it was made for him, like a new skin almost. The effect is immediate, everything around him is suddenly sharper, brighter, clearer.

Muddled scents straighten out, becoming singular and defined.

Sounds do too, what was once an unruly chorus has become... not a song, but something similar, each voice rings out on its own in perfect clarity.

Zeb looks you in the eyes and for the first time he Sees what coils there in their depths, he does not flinch, but you can feel his sadness and concern.

"Whatcha standin' around for?" Tigger asks as he bounces up to the pair of you, his arms already full of assorted trinkets. "C'mon c'mon c'mon we're burning presh-ee-us daylight!" He grabs Zeb by the hand and tries to tug the boy to his feet.

"Ok ok!" Zeb giggles, actually giggles, as he stands up.

Tigger grins, bouncing and bounding in circles around you before picking any direction at all and racing off to do more shoppin'

"C'mon," You say, offering Zeb your hand again. "We better catch up before he buys something weird."

The boy still hesitates to touch you, but he holds on so tight like he's afraid you'll just disappear.

The Wizard's Search For The Witch

Characters: Scar, Pearl

Moonlight broke through the leaves above, barely illuminating his path. 

Scar had been walking aimlessly under the trees for some hours now. He knew what he wanted to find, but he didn’t know where it was. Nobody had given him clear directions, but that was fine. He was used to traveling long distances to sell his magical wares, so he wasn’t afraid of what lurked in the shadows. But something about this forest felt different. He felt like his feet moved on their own, lured in by some outside force he couldn’t control. Each step took him deeper into the forest, and his conviction that he was on the right path grew with each tree that he passed.

In this forest, there was a lady who defied the rules they all abided by, who decided to break convention, to become a witch, isolated from everyone else for her taboo. 

She broke her soulbound. 

He needed to find her. 

He didn’t know the full story, and he needed to know. Nobody would choose to break a soulbound without a reason, and even with a reason, that was too extreme a move to pull. Too risky. 

Scar had found his soulbound once in his travels, but the man had somebody else, so Scar left him alone. Now, Scar would hold no resentment towards him, except the first thing this ‘Grian’ character did when he found out they were bonded and Scar’s choice in career, was to scold him for his ‘reckless behavior’ and ‘unnecessary injuries’. Since then, Scar made sure to harm himself in stranger ways to annoy the man from afar. His fault, really. Couldn’t blame Scar for taking drastic measures.

But enough about himself, he had a witch to find.

All he knew was that she lived in the middle of the forest, high on a tower she built and that she tamed wolves for fun. Dangerous, they all called her. Scar wanted to see her to believe it. There was little that couldn’t be stopped with one of his crystals.

He kept his boogie detection crystal on hand all the way, just in case. You never knew when you’d meet someone with the infection. Better safe than sorry. He’d already been infected once and he shuddered when he remembered the heinous acts he had to commit to satiate it.

He’d been walking for long enough that his legs started to hurt. He popped open a healing potion and took a sip. It was never good to ignore his body when it was nearing its limits, he learnt the hard way. The potion was just enough to null the pain and accelerate the healing of superficial wounds he may have gotten along the way, but his pains extended beyond that. He knew he would regret it the next morning, but he couldn’t stop to rest now. He was so close already, he knew.

Scar first heard about the woman from a man who claimed her a devil. She ‘called upon him an enderman’, he claimed. If that was the case, Scar was impressed — he’d never heard of anyone with such an ability — but it was unlikely. Surely something else was going on.

His feet stopped in their tracks before his mind noticed and he stumbled forward.

In the distance, he could see what they had been talking about.

A large tower, built of stone and topped with wood. He couldn’t see the details from far away, but the skill was impressive. 

It was exactly what he was looking for.

Immediately, his legs picked up speed. He stumbled over himself a couple times — he really was gonna regret exerting his body — but never stopped moving. 

Only when he was under the tower — and wow was it tall. Much taller than it seemed from afar — did he stop, already a sweaty mess, heaving for air. He really really didn’t like running, besides the obvious reasons.

Now, Scar didn’t know the etiquette for speaking with witches. Sure, he was a wizard, but those were different niches, very different cultures and education types. Normally, he wouldn’t want to intrude just in case she found offense in that, but he doubted she’d hear him yell from below.

Unless… 

It was worth a try.

“Helloooo? Lady witch with the dooogs?” 

There was a second of silence, only interrupted by the rustling of leaves, and then— 

She dropped right in front of him. 

Scar shrieked, arms going everywhere and he fell on his back.

The witch laughed.

“Didn’t think I’d meet somebody this way! Or today. I really scared you? Aww.”

“Yeah, yeah, rub it in,” Scar said as he pushed himself off the ground and then dusted himself off.

“I wasn’t kidding when I said I wasn’t expecting anyone,” she said, more serious now, and started circling him like a wolf to its prey. “Who are you?” Her eyes narrowed. “Who sent you here. Was it Ren?” 

“Ren?” The face of the man who claimed her a devil came to the forefront of his head. “Oh, but I’ve never met a Ren!” 

From the look on her face, she clearly didn’t believe him. A good strategy normally, but it really wouldn’t do him any favors now. 

“Don’t worry, I come here on my own. I’m a wizard, see?” He splayed his arms open to show off his robes.

“I see…”

“Look, I just want some answers.”

“Ah.” Immediately, her posture hardened.

“Not— not for anyone else, mind. I just… some things don’t really add up. I think they may be lying about some things.”

“You think? Enlighten me.”

“Oh, I don’t know, just— like the enderman thing! You can’t sic them on people, they don’t follow orders!”

At once, she growled in frustration. “Right? But people don’t listen!”

Scar smiled. Caught her.

She seemed to realize at once and dropped her shoulders.

“Yeah, yeah victim of circumstances. Tell me about it.”

He thrusted an arm forward. “I’m Scar. Nice to meet you!”

She paused. Then took it. 

“I’m Pearl. There’s no harm in talking, I guess.”

I sit and null over the chances more on Vigor … If he were to join, that’d boost me further towards being able to deal with Body, more so the ability to withstand the turmoil that would be in becoming him. On the other hand, I’m not sure if he’d even be willing to join my side, especially after so many years of neglect or dogging … shit … might just kick my ass to get in a workout and then tell me to fuck off. On the other hand, he is as of now, a necessity … because first came Vigor then came Valor. Minds equivalent to Vigor in a way … but there is not acquiring the second without the first. I thought about maybe getting some help, seeing if I could find The Knight again … partially was hoping to see him at this bar when I walked in, just by chance. He would be able to support me in the fight more than anyone, considering he was one of the main reasons Vigor even was birthed into this shit-eating world. How I got 10000 YouTube subscribers in on Month

I started video blogging in February 2020, I had just finished high school, full of energy but I didn’t know what to do, I didn’t have anyone to guide me. The only place I had to seek information was the internet. I loved watching YouTube videos a lot and I decided to start an YouTube channel and emulate on of my favorite YouTube stars -Mrwhosetheboss. I had watched all his videos and on of the things that stood out for me was that his initial video s ware not all that great, therefore I was confident that I need not be perfect but rather what was important is I get started  and this is exactly what I did.

I was not going for the tech review niche like ‘Mr whose the boss’ instead I was going for a much simpler niche that I was more comfortable with and I was confident of that I will deliver. The niche I Choose was inspirational videos. I went for this niche because I saw it had a big audience, everyone likes some positive vibes, It’s a niche with a big audience, I also did null want to show my face in the videos, I was going for a faceless channel. Basically my plan was was to upload inspirational videos with voice overs and related images or videos, I was to all work all by my own, from research, editing and voice over, some of the videos I was to use non copyrighted music.

After I got started I realized that it was not as easy as I thought, I was planning to upload like 3 videos each week but this was a hard task especially since I wanted to upload only original videos. I got lots of inspiration from other videos in the same niche from YouTube and Tik Tok but Still I I could not make 3 videos consistory every week as I had a full time Job and the YouTube videos was only a side gig. Thus I had to adjust my target to two videos per week. Consistent is very important in YouTube if you want your channel to grow. I started uploading one video every Monday and Friday, this way I had enough time to do all the required work to get these video ready.

After I uploaded the first few videos, I started focusing my energy in marketing them to make sure they got views. I researched a lot on how to market my channel but all the information I was getting was not getting me anywhere, I read a lot and tried many ideas, I even almost bought 10 000 YouTube subscribers, a website I got from one of the YouTube creators forums but I was on a strict budget so that was not an option. I had some success in commenting on other similar channel and that would bring some traffic to my channel though that traffic was not enough at least it kept some views trickling in and kept me hopeful that I will make it. I have to mention that some of the early success I got was through coping the style of videos that was going viral in my niche, this was my easiest way to get views and I still use this style today.

Today my channel has almost 700k YouTube Subscribers and I love every bit of it. I would urge everyone to not give up and to keep pushing. Success is around the corner. Thank you

Kat is a smart girl for someone's age, she always roleplay solar system stuff for her own

Kenneth is a shy boy, he is sometimes a great boy

He is adopted by Zaz

His parents died, because they got killed by agents, but Zaz saved him from them

He loves Zaz as his father

Matilda and Milo are great twins.

They also see The end V100 as their little brother.

Matilda is the oldest twin

Matilda and The end V100 didn't know about their dad leaving, and they thought he really went to get milk, but Milo knows about their dad leaving, he knows that their dad divorced their mom

After a "fight" with one of my dearest friends who helped me through insecurities and made me cry with beautiful words of encouragement and affirmation I, partially, broke. And that mental necrosis that orbited that fight engulfed other aspects and minor insecurities I had in different sides of my life.

But from mid-2022 to now, it seems everything went right. Ever since the start of this year I made numerous friends who I treasure and love, who make daily life calmer and less anxious. And from said period of time to now, as I said, it seems everything went my way.

The "fight" I had with my friend at the end of 2021 that destroyed my social confidence? That got resolved. She never hated me, it was just my own paranoid mind.

The academic anxiousness I felt? Well, success in the local chemistry olimpiads of my country showed I can. I am capable. And the severe chemistry and just general knowledge I acquired this ye- I mean last year (not really accustomed with 2023 yet) made me feel capable. I still have a lot to learn, I gotta reinforce and learn even more chemistry to eventually achieve IChO participant status and I still have a lot to climb on the calculus mountain. But it's fun. Learning is absolutely joyous.

And the feeling, that looming feeling of not being enough for my family and just generally feeling undeserving of... basically everything. This year showed that they will be proud of me for as long as I am.

I know how to properly groom myself now (just need to learn how to shave because this facial hair is annoying) and have my sense of style shining. I swear, if I were rich I'd be the flyest mf in this school.

While the insecurities about my physical appearance still remain, it's something I feel I can fix. My sleep schedule still fucked, but this year I promise I'll fix it.

And though my love life is still null (still haven't had my first kiss), that's just how it is. It'll (hopefully) come someday.

Now for the weird part

The future feels... strange. I don't feel like I'll lose any friends when we're out of school, so that good. Oh yeah, just remembered.

It's my last year of school.

This has been all my life. Wake up in the morning, shower, choose the outfit, go to school, spend the morning and noon there, learning, studying, taking tests and making memories with friends, go home and relax or study.

Adulthood just feels like it's being rushed. While I don't expect to live with my parents all my life, the fact that, ideally, I'm only spending everyday with them until the end of the year just doesn't feel right.

And I want to go to a university outside of my country. The familiar neighborhoods and shopping centers, the bread and sweet house from the corner, the subway. It'll all be gone. I'll have to search for streets in English, I'll speak English on the daily with classmates, cashiers, colleagues and such.

Oh, yeah, also that...

I will have to start working.

I was blessed to not have to labor in my childhood nor my teenage years. But, money doesn't come out of nowhere. My parents arrive late at home tired putting food in the fridge and stability to our bank accounts.

Cristina, mein Buddy der letzten Woche, sowie das russische Vater-Sohn-Gespann und ich hatten bis zu unserer Anschlussverbindung (ich per Boot, der Rest per Flieger) nun also noch gut 4-5 Stunden Zeit zum Vertreiben. Nachdem wir unser Gepäck zwischengelagert hatten, machten wir uns per Fähre auf nach Malé City… wir waren uns zwar bereits im Vorfeld darüber im Klaren, dass es sich hierbei um eine der weniger schönen Städte dieser Welt handelte, aber es war eigentlich so ziemlich alles irgendwie besser, als am Flughafen zu verschimmeln. Ich nutzte also direkt die Gelegenheit den Bootsanleger auszukundschaften, von dem um 15 Uhr mein Speedboot nach Hangnaameedhoo startete - das ersparte mir zumindest schonmal die spätere Sucherei danach inkl. Gepäck! Wir schlenderten ein wenig durch die viel zu engen und vollgestopften Gassen, besuchten hier und da ein paar Shops und fanden uns beim nächsten Regenschauer erstmal beim großen und überdachten Händlermarkt ein, bei dem ich neben ein paar landestypischen Snacks auch noch einen großen Beutel Chili erwarb. Von da aus ging es weiter in ein wirklich nettes Café in der Innenstadt, bei der wir nochmal ein letztes gemeinsames (zweites) Frühstück samt viel Kaffee einnehmen konnten. Bevor es von dort aus so langsam wieder Richtung Flughafen ging, wollte ich aber auf jeden Fall nochmal einen Abstecher beim Fischmarkt machen, bei dem in einer langen Reihe die ansässigen Fischer nicht nur mit dem Verkauf ihrer Ware sondern insbesondere auch mit der Entnahme der Eingeweide beschäftigt waren ;) - hätte man mir einen Grill zur Verfügung gestellt, hätte ich auch schwer Lust gehabt, direkt was von dem Fischgut zu brutzeln!

Nachdem dann alle am Flughafen verabschiedet wurden, sammelte ich schließlich meine Koffer ein und machte mich erneut per Fähre rüber zu meinem Speedboot. Ich muss sagen, dass ich aufgrund der Bewertungen von booking.com etwas wesentlich Unkomfortableres erwartet hatte… aber das Ganze machte auf mich einen soliden Eindruck. Die ca. 80 minütige Fahrt war zwar sehr laut, aber es war in jedem Fall eine erträgliche Art sich zwischen den Inseln fortzubewegen. Wie die Mutti an Bord es allerdings geschafft hat ihr sehr frisches Baby die gesamte Fahrt über ruhig zu halten, bleibt mir nach wie vor ein Rätsel. Angekommen auf meiner Zielinsel mitten im Nirgendwo begann ca. 5 Sekunden nach dem Abladen meiner Koffer am Coral Beach Guesthouse zu einem fetten Platzregen. Ich nutzte die Zeit erstmal, um einzuchecken, mich einzurichten und mich von den Betreibern willkommen zu heißen. Nachdem der Regen vorüber war, bekam ich auch direkt noch eine kleine Führung über die Insel - bei gerade mal 1 km Länge war die Tour jedoch recht überschaubar und ich konnte mir doch ziemlich schnell einen Überblick verschaffen :) … sehr basic, sehr local, null touristisch. Nach meinem Geschmack der perfekte Ort, um sich die nochmal 8 Tage vom Rest der Welt abzukapseln!
