I agree with you about ace representation but the show has heavily implied that vampires are able to have regular sex in this universe. Antoinette, Jonah, Claudia's diary and the appendiges line are proof of that.

Big fan of sun motifs in characters not necessarily being about positivity and happiness and how they're so " bright and warm" but instead being about fucking brutal they are.
