i don't think the divide between a self-contained fan who is not super concerned with achieving any particular mark of fame or recognition or garnering an Audience vs a Content Creator who feels powerfully obligated to have fans and a following and cater to them and get their work in front of as many eyes as possible is a totally generational one. I'm so glad that the FNAF movie goes back to a point made in FNAF2- implying that the animatronics are protective and not as hostile to children, because the series overall has gotten so flanderized and blown out of proportion at this point; like why would 1. a cat even be in a pizza ria 2. Bonnie suddenly decide to kill a cat and 3. why on earth would he need to eat? He would basically only be biting and chewing it.

Like there's a reason why people were mad at the fort scene, being that people have just forgotten that they are 'just kids' after all- but the series and fandom has monster-fied the characters too much it feels forced just for shock value and gameplay.
