#this was just supposed to be me testing out an alt design for the sniffer so I can retexture it oops hsdnfsdfg #rambling but the design i did made me think of a sheep so pair that up with the sniffer being ancient and maybe that was its old equivalent #?? like idk man but I know I wanted flowers in its overgrowth at minimum :") I had alt ideas that was more cyan colored like ocean plants? #its funny cuz my world literally has an ancient fallen kingdom and the sniffer popped up with its minimum lore and i just went :O #puzzle pieces coming together- anyways;;; yeah oops there wouldve been more doodle concepts but I got distracted #fwuffletail

A couple of years ago I wanted to start doing a minecraft monday thing where I post screenshots and/or a little doodle of my minecraft shenanigans every monday, but health and lack of time got in the way. Last year I posted some screenshots of the house I built on this world, and now I want to start my minecraft monday idea up again! Since the last screenshots I built an enchanters setup and a blacksmith so this is what they look like 83c Feel free to share your own minecraft creations in reblogs i cannot stress how genuinely I would love to see them!!

i love frontiers with my whole heart but it would have benefited so much from having the platforming be tied into the environment itself instead of placing assets all over the islands. i don't necessarily have problems with the assets either but i'd imagine they would've served their purpose better when used far more sparingly and probably have them tied further into the ancients' technology to emphasize their artificial nature. that probably would've made the exploration angle of the game more memorable as well by making the player concretely interact with the environmental storytelling at hand more often instead of giving them funny rails and springs and platforms that take the focus away from the environment around you in favor of delivering a more traditional platforming challenge where the island is just a backdrop

#soda offers you a can #i think 06 and the adventure games did a far better job at making the environment part of the platforming actually #probably unleashed too tho iirc there are a lot more of platforming assets in that game bc the boost formula benefits from that stuff #like y'know rails and springs and pulleys #not that there aren't assets in the older games but they definitely lean more into the stage geometry being your platform #rather than making “generic platform with collision” and placing that everywhere like frontiers did #which in turn makes the stages more memorable #also im not trying to downplay unleashed's stages btw they are extremely memorable tbf and have a ton of detailed places in them #i also haven't played it in a hot minute again so i could be remembering things wrong #and unleashed also gets around repetition in assets by retexturing stuff for different areas so they feel more unique #however i think with the introduction of boosting it may have brought along this new reliance on assets and specific stage layouts #that don't translate well into open world environments #tl;dr uhhhhhhhh idk is it time to change up the boost formula??

383 packages of plants in total. Included my previous version with flowers and grass (177).

What's new? Retextures of hedges, bushes, shrubs, more flowers, ferns, mushrooms some stumps and logs from new worlds, plant for Woohoo (or toilet plant), and pretty log for collect frogs etc. Album with screenshots of every world.

if you had my previous version with flowers and grass replacement before, just delete old files or folder [Moriel] Flowers and grass replacement;

download file and unzip it in your Mods folder;

don't mix overrides with other CC and don't hide it in other subfolders. Just leave them in folder ![Moriel] Plants replacement in your Mods foder.

my plants will conflict with other plants except trees overrides.

Hi guys.

I caved and downloaded 1.69 patch to use caw again.

so here some things I have updated with Newville, I took out the warehouse on the docks, there is now 4 new lots to build houses, retextured the docks also.

fixed plants in front on that dock's also, no longer floating or in the area tbh.

added one massive lot size, for the map size it's only 512

the issue I can't fix is seeing the world edges, this would mean me making a direct custom distant terrain, I have no knowledge of this yet, though it's not that you see it apart from map view or if you're near there... painted the sea thou still doesn't hide it...

also two new lots on the smaller docks side cafe and laundromat and a meshed sign.

This does come with s a custom lighting mod within the world itself, to link back to the original post for the download of the cc within the world itself, in this download, this will replace the old version, also i've included the old Boroughsburg files incase, the ones in the final version don't work with this world.

Post Apocalyptic Evergreen Harbor Wip #3

Hi !

So, I am still working on Post Apocalyptic Evergreen Harbor and I think we a close to the end ! Of course there are a lot a things to replace/retexture remaining but they should go faster than buildings and cars replacements. I am almost finished with cars, you will have a dedicated wip post for it.

The new things I have gone through are containers (you will see it in the next wip post), trash objects (fridge, bathtub etc), random replacements (the ones in this post).

This post is only about replacements (from industrial area), as there are no new retextures.

II still must replace some road signs, other streetlights, traffic lights, manhole cover and remove some stuff like flags that I don't know with what I coul replace it otherwise.

The plants and trees you can see in the pics and some of the ground retextures such as gravel are made by @k-hippie
