Thank the gods that he’s such a big guy.

When he picks you up it’s like an immediate, deescalating and loving hug.

He doesn’t do it very often in public but he definitely does it when the both of you are in private or just aren’t around a lot of people.

If he feels like talking isn’t working too well and you really need an immediate relief, then he’ll pick you up.

How he picks you up tends to vary by the situation and where you are.

If you’re really distraught and are about to have an anxiety attack, he’ll pick you up bridal style and hold you close.

If you’re calming down but still feel like you’re needing some comfort, it’ll probably be an over the shoulder sort of thing so he can walk out with you to someplace different.

If you just want to be held, or if he’s feeling like picking you up, then he’ll do it.

If he’s feeling content to a more obvious degree, he’ll pick you up and hold you to his front with a laugh.

If you want to be held, he’ll happily hoist you up and carry you off to wherever.

Compound V has it’s perks and this is definitely one of them!

He definitely gets an ego boost and even more of a power trip when he has the opportunity to pick you up.

If he’s gotta shoot off somewhere and you’re together, he’ll pick you up and fly off with you.

At home and want to be held while he’s busy? He could hold you with one arm and keep doing whatever it is, no questions asked.

Homelander definitely seems like the type to just want to hold or carry you because of how close it makes the two of you.

It’s a level of intimacy that he doesn’t experience very often so he tries to hold you as much as possible.

On that note, if he’s really going through it then please let him hold you in silence. It calms him down and it makes him feel like you really care.

He’s not against piggyback rides either. He doesn’t do it often but when he does, it’s fun.

If you feel like you’re having a panic attack or need to leave, he knows already. He will leave with you in his arms and will make sure that no one can say anything about it.

He knows he’s powerful already but being able to pick you, his s/o, up, makes him feel like the most powerful man in the sky.

Black Noir

If only you could see the hearts around him whenever either of you even entertain the idea of him picking you up.

He loves it so much. Like Homelander, he does not get a lot of physical intimacy, if any at all.

He understands being overwhelmed really well but he doesn’t want you to keep it inside like he does so he’ll be right there to pick you up if you need him to.

He doesn’t even care if he’s in public either.

If you’re even slightly upset, he’s right there to make sure you’re ok.

Sometimes he feels like he does it too much but when you assure him that it’s ok and that you like it, he’s so relieved.

Do you just really need time with him so they you can recuperate? No problem! He’s already got his arms wide open and waiting for you.

Sometimes he needs to hold you when he has an episode.

There’s also times where he needs to be held.

These moments don’t happen too often but please repay all of his snuggles and embraces with ones of your own!

Your Choujin X writeups are great, it's a shame the fandom is so small that they get relatively few notes. I'm glad you appear to have a more sympathetic view of Azuma than most CX readers I've seen. I think I remember you predicting before the time skip that Azuma would be the one to leave Yamato Mori, but recent chapters look more like Tokio will diverge from them - any predictions for the how our main trio may be split up?

This is a great question anon, and my answer is... I dunno. By which I mean to me it could go either way at this point. Me and my friend have actually debated on this, which one is more likely to side Sora and which one is going to stay with Yamato Mori. I'm still leaning towards Azuma leaving Yamato Mori, but there's evidence for both sides of either Azuma or Tokio leaving. Predictions about the Azuma and Tokio breakup underneath the cut.

Evidence of Azuma Leaving

The first piece of evidence is that Azuma is pretty clearly headed for a negative character arc, to parallel with Tokio's growth. While Tokio grows more self-confident and independent, Azuma in turn starts to feel inferior and resentful. Azuma states it pretty clearly at the end of their first fight, he's no longer Tokio's hero, the relationship they had in the past where he was the one who Tokio looked up to is gone now. Azuma can't really handle the shifting power dynamic because he was as dependent on Tokio as Tokio was on him.

Instead of bridging the gap in their relationship, Tokio leaving has made Azuma even more distant from him. Azuma isn't even on speaking terms with Tokio right now. When he's introduced to Tokio, the first thing he learns is that Tokio freed an entire province from a dictator while Azuma just a few days ago failed to stop a plane crash resulting in the deaths of so many people.

It's not like Azuma wasn't training while Tokio was gone, and yet from Azuma's perspective it seems like Tokio is still leaps and bounds ahead of him. Which could push him to conclude that Yamato Mori is not enough, either out of a desire to be stronger, or personal resentment for Tokio.

Evidence number two, Tokio and Azuma are a clear parallel to Sandek and Batista. The two of them trained alongside each other to be heroes, probably all their lives, only for one of them to betray the other. Batista is the one who either left Yamori, or fled after his brother attempted to kill him. Azuma is the Batista in that parallel, he has the ability that's less powerful than Tokio's, and Batista has multiple times took a vested interest in him even asking Zora if she could hand off Azuma to him.

Azuma also made Tokio promise to kill him if he ever went rogue, which is another parallel to Sendak being commanded by their profit to kill Batista.

Why go so far to make this continued parallel throughout the story, unless Batista was planning on inviting Azuma to their side?

The third is more recent and may just be me going out on a limb here, but Azuma met this clearly supsicious girl searching for corpses on the beach, and didn't really investigate into her any further. Noh Mask met with her shortly after this scene and dragged her into a bigger conspiracy with The Tower / Zora's followers, so she's going to be plot relevant and the fact she ran into Azuma isn't a coincidence. After all, every single detail that happens in a story is purposefully put there by the author to mean something. IE, if they ran into each other once it's likely they'll run into each other again.

One more important detail is, Azuma's not dumb. He found her right next to a washed up corpse, and even the girl thought she was done before at that point. Only for Azuma to quickly change his tune and act totally oblivious. This is the face he makes, before he smiles and offers her crabs instead. It's likely he actually knew what she was doing there, but for some reason decided to let her go, maybe to investigate her further instead of blowing his cover right there.

While Tokio is the one who is more curious right now about hearing what Zora has to say, he's also steadily growing and gaining influence in Yamato Mori.

It's Tokio of all people who spoke up against the Opium mission, and Tokio who convinced the higher ups to listen to his plan instead. He's once again the one gaining more strength and confidence, while Azuma's position in Yamato is stagnating. Sato even makes a comment along the lines of Yamato's soldiers not being what they once were.

If Azuma isn't making progress with the Yamato Mori, if he's stagnating and not getting any better that's even more reason for him to want to leave.

Evidence of Tokio Leaving

The first and most obvious is that Zora is pretty desperate to choose Tokio as her successor. Tokio is also the one who seemed to have inherited the most power from Zora, as she comments that being an iron choujin makes Azuma unworthy of the mark. In the parallel between the big three Choujin X of the past, Tokio is clearly the parallel to Zora, he uses the same wings and scythe swords she did. Azuma is the parallel to Queem because they both use recurring tank and gun imagery in association with their characters, and Azuma's choujin power seems to have come about because of his obsession with war, weapons, the military, etc...

Tokio is also the only one who's spoken in favor of listening to Zora about her prophecy. Azuma's been keeping his head down the entire time just listening to orders in Yamato Mori, Ely even points out that Azuma didn't speak up when he disagreed with Tokio. It's Tokio who's questioning authority and speaking up directly in front of them.

Tokio is also the first person who sympathizes with Zora, when the whole of Yamato Mori who are the ones who cast her out seem only intent on hunting her down. He's expressed a clear interest in talking to her.

Tokio also has been diagnosed with a clear case of Kaneki Ken SyndromeTM! By which I mean Ishida Sui reuses ideas from previous works all the time, and in Tokyo Ghoul his last manga he had the hero defect from Anteiku when he became too afraid that he lacked the strength to protect his friends. Tokio seems to suffer from a similiar fear of losing people. He even resolves to strike Zora down if the danger becomes too much and just ignore her prophecy.

Tokio has also already left once, leaving both Ely and Azuma without a word because he feels he'd become too dependent on them if he stayed. His growth was also jumpstarted when after the island arc he wasn't able to contribute a single thing in the battle because he wasn't strong enough. He could leave for a similiar reason, if Yamato Mori isn't enough to protect his friends he could try to go off on his own and work from the outside instead.

The last piece of evidence is that we still have Tokio's prophetic dream to worry about. Considering Tokio shares so many of Zora's powers, he might have even inherited some of her future seeing.

Tokio hasa dream of a ruined Yamato, and an Azuma who turns around to face him and declares that the disaster is all his fault. Tokio defecting / siding with Zora could start the chain of events which leads to this. In a version where Tokio defects, we could see an arc of Tokio joining with Zora, only for Azuma to hunt him down while working with Yamato Mori.

It still fits the general pattern I outlined before of their positive and negative charater arcs, if Azuma stayed with Yamato Mori he might become more like a blind servant to justice, hunting down Tokio no matter what the cost without listening to his friend. Especially if Tokio really is the cause of a disaster.

To mention Ishida's previous work again, Tokio shares a lot of parallels to Arima Kishou, to the point of even wearing glasses like him and having worsening eyesight. The fact that Arima for most of his life was a blind follower of the CCG is not a good thing and led to his tragic ending as a character. So Azuma's character could follow the same general pattern if he chooses to stay with Yamato Mori and hunt down Tokio after he defects.

There's plenty of evidence for either side of the argument, so we may just have to wait and see how it plays out. Considering it's Ishida though, it'll probably be painful when the boys finally do break up.

It's warm. Why?

Kaneki opened his eyes. Now one of his eyes was like Rize’s. He could hear the beeping of the hospital machines. He closed his eyes and succumbed back to sleep.

The next time Kaneki opened his eyes. He felt a weight on him. He glanced down. His (Y/N) was laying on him. He blushed Wait his (Y/N)? Yes, his (Y/N). He raised his hand to play with her hair. It was as soft and silky as it looked.

(Y/N) shifted and raised her head. She yawned and rubbed her eyes.

She’s so cute. And all mine.

She smiled at him so sweetly as tears filled her eyes.

“You’re awake”, her voice trembled.

“(Y/N)? What's wrong? Are you hurt? Why are you crying?”

Kaneki was franic. Why was his (Y/N) crying? What did he do?

(Y/N) didn’t speak. She simply wrapped her arms around Kaneki. Though it did take her to basically crawl into Kaneki’s lap. Damn her shortness. Her tears soaked Kaneki’s hospital gown.

Kaneki’s face went red. He couldn't believe that his (Y/N) was in his lap, giving him a hug. Oh god. She smelled so good. He could just eat her up.

(Y/N) started to pull away.

Kaneki wrapped his arms around her.

“Don’t leave me”, Kaneki cried desperately.

He couldn’t let her go. Not now. Not ever. Not when he finally had her to himself.

(Y/N) readjusted herself to fit better on the bed. She shook off Kaneki’s clinginess because he had been in the hospital for a few days. She settled down on the right side of Kaneki. Her legs were slightly overlapping Kaneki's legs. Sleep was rapidly luring her in. Her sleepless nights were getting to her. She laid her head down on Kaneki’s shoulder and closed her eyes. She couldn't help but feel safe by Kaneki’s side. She fell asleep in a matter of minutes.

Kaneki blushed as he gazed at (Y/N)’s form. He was so lucky. He tightened his arms around her. Nobody could have her.

He closed his own eyes. He let (Y/N)’s slow breathing pull him to sleep.

Kaneki awoke a few hours later. He glanced to where (Y/N) was supposed to be.

(Y/N) was no longer by his side.

Kaneki looked around frantically. He saw only her jacket.

Where had she gone? Was she okay? Was she safe?

He needed her by his side. Need her now.

His eyes noticed a tray of food in front of him. He saw a note that had his (Y/N)’s handwriting on it. He picked it up to read.

"Hey Kaneki!

Sorry I left without saying goodbye. You were just so cute sleeping that I couldn’t bring myself to wake you up. Sorry for falling asleep on you. Paranoia does that to a person. Anyway, make sure you eat some food. Hide came to get me. So don’t worry about me. I’ll make it home safely. Afterall Hide will be there to protect me. See you later!

P.S. Don’t worry me like that again.”

(Y/N) thought he was cute? (Y/N) was worried about him? She is so cute! And so sweet for writing a letter to him. However: the word paranoia bothered him. Was she not safe? Was someone messing with her?

Kaneki frowned at the mention of Hide.

Stupid Hide. (Y/N) would still be by his side if Hide hadn’t interfered. If Hide kept taking his (Y/N) away, Hide would have to disappear.

He picked up his chopsticks to take a bite of food. It tasted disgusting. Kaneki was quick to spit the food out onto a napkin. He couldn’t stomach anymore of the food.

He heard the door open. Kaneki pulled the blanket over him. If it was (Y/N), he didn’t want her to see him like this.

A nurse entered the room.

“Mr. Kaneki! Is this all you're going to eat? Oh, right. Your friend came by again today”, she spoke.

Friend? (Y/N)?

Not long afterwards Dr. Kano entered the room. The nurse left the room.

“How are we feeling, Kaneki?”, the doctor asked

Dr. Kano gestured for Kaneki to open his shirt. He placed his stethoscope on Kaneki's chest. The doctor hummed before pulling back.

The door opened, and (Y/N) stepped in. She blushed when she saw Kaneki’s semi-naked self.

“I’m sorry”, she stuttered before turning away to leave.

“No wait! (Y/N)”, Kaneki cried.

(Y/N) halted.

“I am not turning around until you are properly dressed”, the girl stuttered.

Kaneki looked down at himself confused. He blushed when he realized that (Y/N) saw him half naked. He yanked his gown closed.

Though in reality, he wanted (Y/N) to look at him when he was dressed like this.

“I-I am decent”, Kaneki stuttered out.

(Y/N) hesitantly turned around.

“I came back for my jacket”.

She couldn’t look at Kaneki. Her face is still red.

Kaneki glanced toward (Y/N)’s jacket.

“Stay with me.”, Kaneki asked.

(Y/N) blushed even more.

“K-Kaneki”, she stuttered surprised.

“I mean-I’ll need help after I get discharged”, Kaneki explained.

(Y/N) nodded in understanding. She walked past the two men. She picked up her jacket and stood towards the side so she wouldn’t be in the way.

Kaneki moved over and gestured for (Y/N) to sit with him.

“You can sit here so you don’t get tired standing.”, Kaneki suggested.

(Y/N)’s blush deepened, but she did not turn down Kaneki's offer. She moved to sit by him.

Kaneki turned back towards the doctor.

“I hear you haven't eaten anything since you were admitted, but there doesn't particularly seem to be anything wrong though.”, the doctor said.

“I feel okay. My sense of taste is off”, Kaneki said.

His hand found (Y/N)’s. He held it tightly

(Y/N) didn’t pull away so Kaneki counted it as a win.

“Sense of taste? Care to explain”, the doctor asked.

“Everything tastes disgusting to me”, Kaneki explained.

The doctor hummed before smirking a little.

“That could be psychological in nature. It was a pretty serious accident, after all.There's no need to rush to rush yourself. Take all the time you need to heal.”, the doctor spoked.

The doctor stood up and left.

It wasn’t long before Kaneki was discharged.

(Y/N) and him left the hostipal together.

“Nothing particularly wrong? It almost seems like the events of that whole day with Miss Rize were something that never really happened. But one thing is for sure. Ever since then, something has been something has been strange.”, Kaneki thought.

(Y/N) reached over to squeeze Kaneki’s arm.

“You okay Kaneki? You are worrying me”, his (Y/N) asked.

“I’m fine. Just ready to be home”, he replied.

(Y/N) let her hand slipped into Kaneki’s hand.

Kaneki blushed. Her hand was so warm.

From a distance, two very different ghouls watched the couple.

One regretting not killing Kaneki the first time. And the other ready to torture Kaneki.

Unknowingly having eyes on them, (Y/N) and Kaneki walked to Kaneki’s place.

The two arrived at Kaneki’s apartment. A bag was hanging on the door. Kaneki picked it up so he could read the note.

"Kaneki! Congratulations on your discharge! Presenting some leftover high-quality ingredients from my place, along with your favorite hamburger.

I hope you appreciate it! Wah-ha-ha!

“I see Hide gave you leftovers. I’ll put them away.”, (Y/N) offered.

Kaneki handed her the bag.

(Y/N) went to the kitchen and started to be everything away. She returned shortly.

Kaneki had flopped onto the bed. His eyes were closed.

(Y/N) smiled. She pulled the covers over Kaneki. She leaned down and kissed his forehead. She turned and left but not before writing Kaneki a note.

It was dark when Kaneki opened his eyes again. He sat up and felt something in his hand. He has crumbled up the note (Y/N) had left him.

“Sorry to leave you without saying goodbye again. I went home by the way. Take care of yourself and call me if you need me.

(Y/N) was so cute. Kaneki brought the note to his nose. It smelled like her. His mouth watered. He began to have a visitor. Kaneki blushed. He was such a pervert. He was so dirty. Kaneki couldn't help but wonder what (Y/N) would say if he knew this happened from her scent alone.

Kaneki flipped on the television in ordered to distract himself. He wasn't paying attention to the news report that was airing though. His mind on (Y/N).

“A ghoul doesn't have any need to eat this much in this short amount of time in the first place. One dead body will allow them to survive for a month or two”, Mr. Ogura said in the news report.

“Mr. Ogura, can't ghouls be satisfied by eating the same food as humans do?”the spokeswoman asked.

Kaneki’s attention focused on the news report.

“No, ghouls are only able to derive their nutrition from people. It could be detrimental if they are anything else.Not to mention that their tongues work differently than ours do. When they eat human food, it tastes incredibly awful to them.”, Mr. Ogura continued on to say.

Kaneki shot up from his bed and towards the kitchen. He tore open the hamburger bags. He raised the hamburger to his mouth and bit it. He couldn’t hold it down. He covered his mouth and ran to the bathroom. He throw up the food in the toilet.

Oh, no Oh, no.  

Kaneki started to devour food after food and drink after drink. He ran to the bathroom each time to throw up the food into the toilet. He squirted condiments and poured soda down his throat. He had tears in his eyes as it all came up and into the toilet.

He broke some plates before breaking down. He sobbed on the floor. How was he supposed to take care of himself like (Y/N) wanted? She was going to hate him. If he couldn’t take care of himself, how could he take care of her?

His hand gripped a hamburger steak bag.

“Presenting your favorite hamburger.”, Hide’s voice echoed in Kaneki’s mind.

Kaneki stood. He got out a lot of water and started to cook the food.

“Hide... Did you go out and buy this just for me?”, Kaneki thought.

He finished cooking. He brought a piece of hamburger to his mouth. His hand was shaking. He ate it. Tears streamed down his face. The fork clanked against the plate of food. Kaneki sank to the floor.

“This can't be happening. “

Kaneki’s phone started to buzz. It was Hide. Kaneki clicked denied. He couldn’t talk to anyone. Not even (Y/N). Well maybe he could talk (Y/N). He could definitely talk to (Y/N).

Hide watched as his call to Kaneki went to voicemail.

“Friend of yours?”Nishio Nishiki asked Hide.

He typed on his computer.

(Y/N) entered the room after going to the bathroom.

“I’m back”, (Y/N) said.

Nishiki looked at her. He glanced over her body and licked his lips.

”Yeah. He was supposed to get out of the hospital today, but I can't reach him. I went to see him several times, too, but he didn’t want any visitors.”, Hide continued on.

“That’s strange,” (Y/N) piped up as she moved a box.

Both men looked at her.

“I visited him a few times. Well I fell asleep on him once so I don’t really count that as visiting. I even took him home after he was discharged. He was asleep though when I left. Maybe he is still asleep.”, she continued.

Hide’s eyes narrowed. Was Kaneki trying to take (Y/N) away from him?

Nishiki didn’t like the sound of that. Even if he had just met the girl, he was still so attached to her. He should check out this Kaneki guy.

“Hmm If it were me I'd cut off ties with anyone as rude as that.” Nishiki said as he stopped looking the girl.

He glanced at (Y/N).

“Not sleeping well”, Nishiki asked the girl.

She handed a box to Hide.

“Not really.”

She picked up another box.

“I feel like someone if watching me”, she slipped while not paying attention to her words.

Both Hide and Nishiki were alarmed. Someone was stalking (Y/N)?

“What were you saying about Kaneki? Hide? Nishiki?”, she asked as she looked back and forth between Hide and Nishiki.

“Kaneki, (Y/N), and I have been best friends since we were kids. I don’t know why he didn’t let me see him”, Hide continued.

(Y/N) and Hide continued to move boxes.

“Best friends. How sweet”, Nishiki smirked.

“Hello? Kaneki? How are you feeling? I was just at the bookstore in front of the station, and Takatsuki- what's-her-name is doing a book signing, so I thought I'd tell you. Anyhow, give me a call when you're feeling better. (Y/N)’s has been asking about you ”, Hide said in Kaneki’s voicemail.

Kaneki was in bed. He slowly sat up. He slowly got dressed. He then made his way to the book store.

It was drizzling when he got there. He read the sign.

"The Takatsuki Sen book signing is now over."

He signed and turned to leave.

“Kaneki?”

Kaneki turned. And before him was (Y/N). His (Y/N). The rain appeared to make her glow.

She smiled at him.

“May I join you?”, she asked.

Kaneki nodded. He couldn’t speak as he looked at the beauty that was (Y/N).

The two walked in silence.

It wasn’t long before Kaneki’s stomach growled. He started to sniff around. He smelt something so amazing sweet.

“Hungry”, (Y/N) asked.

“We can stop and get some food.”, she suggested.

Kaneki didn’t hear her. He was too busy trying to find the source of the sweet smell. He glanced around. There were too many other smells for him to find the source.

“People People People People Children People People --Woman --Flesh --Girl --Flesh --Man --Flesh --Family --Flesh --Children Boy Woman --Flesh Flesh Flesh --Child Boy --Flesh Flesh --Flesh Flesh Flesh --Flesh Flesh Flesh Flesh!”, echoed over and over in Kaneki’s mind.

He couldn’t take it. He ran and ran while leaving (Y/N) behind.

She called out his name and started after him.

Kaneki was too fast for her to catch him.

Kaneki didn’t stop running until he made it back to his apartment. He slammed the door shut and locked it. His shoes slipped off as he ran to the bathroom. He looked into the mirror. One of his eyes was the same as Rize’s eyes. He whimpered.

“What’s happening to me?”

Rize appeared in his mirror.

Kaneki yelled and slammed his fist into the mirror causing the mirror to shatter.

I know what's causing it!

Transfer her organs into him!

Blades such as knives or kitchenware cannot hurt them.

Let’s see if that’s true. If that's true, then I’m a ghoul.

He scrambled for a knife.  He raised it.

This won’t hurt.

He drove the knife towards his stomach. He screamed as the blade of the knife broke off from the handle and onto the floor. He tumbled backwards onto the floor. He sobbed.

What am I supposed to do now?

Kaneki stood outside the area where the accident occurred.

“Kill a person take their flesh! And eat it”, Kaneki’s hunger spoke.

Kaneki snapped back.

“What’s gotten into me?”

He started to sniff around. There was a sweet smell in the air. But not as sweet as the Scent from before. Kaneki turned towards an alleyway.

“What is that scent? It's the first time I'm smelling it, but it seems so familiar.  A sweet aroma, like Mom's home cooking.“, Kaneki’s hunger talking.

He could see his mother’s cooking as he started to stagger towards the smell.

“There's something over here that even I can eat! Where is it? Where is it? Where is it? Where is it?!”

Kaneki made turns and moved quickly. He was so hungry. He ran into some trash. He was drooling as he stood up to follow the smell.

“It's close”

Kaneki stumbled on a ghoul and his kill. He watched the ghoul devour the human.

“A ghoul.  A human! How could I have been enticed here by the scent of a corpse?!”his mind screamed.

Kaneki collapsed into his knees.

The ghoul looked up from his meal.

Kaneki sobbed. What would (Y/N) say if she saw him like this? Would she be scared or even sympathetic towards him?

“You're a ghoul. What's the matter? Are you all right? Don’t cry, it’s okay. My name's Kazuo.”, the ghoul offered up.

The ghoul looked at his food and reached down to pull some meat apart from it.

“It's been a long time for me, so I can't share too much with you, but here, eat-- “, he said.

Blood splattered from the ghoul. Some even got in Kaneki.

“Good riddance. Don’t go plundering my feeding grounds. Hmm? I've never seen you before. Why is only one of your eyes red? That's nasty.”, Nishiki spoke.

Nishiki walked towards Kaneki. He gripped Kaneki by the neck and slammed him against the wall.

“Do you think you could hunt on my territory and get away with it?”, Nishiki said angrily.

He was pissed. (Y/N) walks on his territory. He had to protect her.  This one eyed ghoul would eat her.

“I-I wasn't I didn't know I just happened to be passing by”, Kaneki strained.

“Do you think I believe that. Okay, imagine this. (Y/N) is naked and lying on the ground. Then some guy was there with his pants down says to you, "I wasn't doing anything.I just happened to be here.”, Nishiki said as he tighten his grip on Kaneki’s neck.

He didn’t even notice that he said (Y/N). He was too angry to notice.

On the other hand, it caught Kaneki’s attention. This ghoul knows (Y/N)? She’s in danger! He has to protect her!

From above, Touka watched them. She was debating if she should interfere. If she did, (Y/N) wouldn’t be hers and hers alone. If she didn’t, (Y/N) would be hers.

"That's the same as what you're telling me. If someone did that to my (Y/N) , I'd kill the guy. That's why I'm killing you, as punishment for trespassing on my feeding grounds”, Nishiki spoked.

Touka dropped down from her place on the building. She was going to regret this.  Really regret this.

“This isn’t your territory. Which means he wasn’t trespassing, Nishiki. So let him go”, Touka demanded.

Nishiki turned towards her while holding Kaneki up.

“Touka”, he said.

He dropped Kaneki.

Kaneki gripped his neck as he coughed.

“I don’t see what the problem is. I know that Binge eating bitch is dead”, Nishiki argued.

“How does that make these your feeding grounds?  You don’t have any say on the task of distributing the feeding grounds Rize stole. It will be distributed among the weaker ghouls. Just leave it up to those of us at Anteiku.”, she spoke.

Her eyes turned into their ghoulish color.

Nishiki turned towards her.

“Huh?! You know, I still don’t understand why we have to rub everything by a bunch of fence-sitters like Anteiku. I am just reclaiming what is mine”, Nishiki said angerly.

Nishiki started to walk towards Touka.

“Because you were weak”, Touka started off.

“I don’t appreciate being insulted by a punk with a smart mouth. Watch it. You’re starting to piss me off”, Nishiki snapped back.

The two ghouls started to walk towards one another.

“You think I’m scared”, Touka asked.

The two engaged in a fight. They flew to one another.

“You should be”, Nishiki shouted.

Touka passed by Nishiki with ease.

Nishiki was shocked when he got pushed back. He grunted.

“Is that all you got, Touka”, he taunted.

“What for it”, Touka answered.

Nishiki’s eyes widened. Wounds opened on his body and blood splattered out.

He semi-fell to the ground.

“Do you want me to go harder next time?”, Touka asked.

Nishiki grunted. He turned and ran tail.

“Do you want to take your corpse with you?”, she said as she watched him flee.

Kaneki was gasping.

Touka turned her attention to him.

Kaneki reaches out for the corpse. He stopped when Touka stepped over the corpse.

Touka reached down and picked up a hand from the corpse. She offered it to him. She knew that she could use him to get closer to (Y/N).

“You want this?”, She asked.

Kaneki reaches for it before using his other hand to pull his hand back. What would (Y/N) say if she knew he ate human flesh? He hunched over.

“You're not eating? Oh wow, only one of your eyes is different”, she said.

Her eyes widened as she remembered something.

“You're the one who was with Rize. Why weren't you eaten? Then again your eye.”, Touka pretended to be shock.

She knew what happened. However; she wasn’t quite sure how Kaneki survived something like that.

“Please help me! I know you may not believe this, but I'm human. And yet I want to eat that I want to eat it so bad I can't help it But if I do, I won't be human anymore! (Y/N) won’t love me anymore!”, he sobbed hungerly.

His hand reached out once more. He was struggling to keep it at bay.

“If you're in that much pain, then eat.” , Touka encouraged.

Then (Y/N) won’t love you. She’ll only love me.

Kaneki was sobbing as he reached for the hand. He was so close but couldn’t bring himself to take the hand to eat. He hit the hand out of Touka’s hand. It flew off to the side.

“No way! No way! No way! No way! No way! No way! No way! There's no way I can eat another person’s flesh. (Y/N) would hate me!”, he desperately spoke.

Let her hate you.

Kaneki had his head on the ground.

“Killing people.  Killing each other.  I'm not like that! I'm human! I'm human! I’m not a ghoul! I’m human like (Y/N). Her love makes me human”, he cried out.

“This is ridiculous. (Y/N) may be human, but she love belongs to ghouls”, Touka stated.

Belongs to me.

She turned and knelt down by the corpse. She broke some bones to get to an organ. Blood splattered onto her cheek.

“Why not give in already? If you don't have the nerve to eat then I'll give you a hand!”, Touka angrily said.

She turned and ran towards Kaneki. She shoved the organ into Keneki’s mouth. She was doing this for (Y/N) and (Y/N) alone.

Kaneki swallowed.

Summary:Reader starts working at CCG and falls in love with the adorable but weird Juuzou, thing is he hates ghouls and reader is one. Not to mention they are secretly working for the Aogiri Tree.

Arima announces to everyone and I bow my head respectfully "Hello it's a pleasure to meet all of you." I smile and stood back straight, everyone welcomed me and someone in the back caught my attention, a young boy or girl with white hair,pale skin and red eyes waved his or hers arms around excitedly.

"Hiya (Y/N)!"

Oh, he's a guy then! I get nervous when he grabs my hands and shakes it while smiling wide, he has a couple of stitches too, on his arms,lips,and on his neck down to his chest. "It's so cool to have a new member, i'm so excited to get to know you."

"I agree it's delicious." this is so disgusting. "Excuse me,Juuzou, I have to use the restroom." i walked away and ran to the toilet and puked out the cake. "That was disgusting..but i'll do anything for Juuzou."

It's been a couple of weeks since I joined the CCG and my relationship with Juuzou was growing, but being here in the CCG and working with Aogiri Tree wasn't easy, I was sent as a spy by Yamori. I was too focused on Juuzou to even pick up on my mission. I wish Juuzou accepted me as a ghoul but he won't understand.

Today's the night Juuzou will find out i'm a ghoul.

Slowly i walked out and sat down where Juuzou was, "Why are you crying (Y/N)?" i look back at Juuzou surprised and i reached up to feel that I was indeed crying. I smile and began to wipe my tears, "It's nothing for you to worry about."

It was no use because I began to cry some more and ran out of the café. I never thought i would have feelings for a human...

I looked back to see the man sliced in half, I had to kill him he's my co-worker and if I left him alive he would tell everyone that i'm a ghoul. All that blood is making me hungry..slowly i knelt down and began to eat him up to regain my strength. I was half way when I heard a scream, Juuzou screaming.

I got up and jumped the building following where his scream was coming from, I landed down a roof and saw Juuzou looking at Shinohara's body as the owl was in the center staring at him.

Eto you better not hurt him. The Owl laid it's eyes on me and I glared at her "(Y/N)?" i heard Juuzou stutter from behind me. My heart was beating faster, i was afraid to turn around and meet his eyes filled with anger.

"Juuzou..." slowly i turned around and looked at him disappointed with myself in doing this in the first place. Juuzou's leg was broken but he was still holding into his quinque Jason. He stared at me surprised with tears in his eyes.

"You're a ghoul." his eyes didn't leave my red and black ones as he also stared at my back,my kagune. "Juuzou I-"

"You're the reason why this is all happening! Shinohara is dead because of you along with Mado!"

"I am so sorry Juuzou..i still love you" i replied beginning to cry when he got up and glared at me staring at the ground,his white hair covering both his eyes,i stared at him surprised when I saw him smiling and laughing as he held into his scythe tightly.

"Oh,well" he sang looking back at me "I guess it's my fault for even trusting a pretty girl like you." he grinned and began to launch towards me. I jumped back and avoided his attacks, "I won't fight you Juuzou so stop!"

I was knocked back when he hit me and he cut my cheek, i gasped when stabbed me with his scythe on my waist and I stared back at him,tears falling down my cheeks, The owl or Eto growled and threw Juuzou away and grabbed me letting me be far away from Juuzou.

Eto placed me on the ground away from the battlefield and went back to fight, "(Y/N) you okay?" i held onto my wound applying pressure to not lose any more blood.

"Naki,didn't know you were here." i wince when he grabbed me and began to wrap a bandage around my waist.

"I can't believe i left Juuzou down." i tell myself and hid my face with my hands.

"Eh? juice you say?"

"I said Juuzou you idiot! not juice!" i shout at him but tried to calm down "He was a friend.."

"Friend? I only have Gagi and Guge."

"Your friends even though no one understands what the hell they are saying?" i scoff and Naki smiled, "There you're all good."

"Thanks." i pulled my shirt back down and my eyes widened as i looked up and the clouds all cleared up and it began to snow. It feels so cold,the snow is pure and white just like Juuzou..i'll miss him a lot.

"I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings Juuzou." i whisper to myself and clinged onto my jacket.

Yamori

He couldn’t get back to sleep. A common place thing when your nights are full of quiet nightmares so he elected to just lay there and hope for sleep to take him again anyways.

Sometime later in the night he heard you gasp and then the whimpering started. You were tossing and turning, seemingly having a nightmare yourself. He watched you for a moment before turning and resting a hand on your shoulder, squeezing slightly.

You shot up with a sharp gasp, your hands trembling as you brought them to your face. He sighed and sat up, pulling you into his body before running a hand down your back.

After a while he asked you if you were alright and what happened. He reassured you and got you to lay back down. He made sure you know that you were safe, he was here, and that there’s a really good chance that if anything or anyone did try to get you, they wouldn’t last very long.

And so, as you drifted back off to sleep, his words repeated in your head, finally silencing your thoughts.

“The only waking nightmare you have to worry about is me.” Well, he’s not wrong and you’re happy that that’s the case.

Naki

He always wondered what you dreamed about. Sometimes he’d lay awake just watching you, thinking, waiting for his own dreams to take over. That is, until you bolted up and almost fell out of bed.

He grabbed you before you could fall completely off and frantically asked if you were ok as he brushed your hair out of your face. He listened intently to everything you told him, nodding off and on. When you were done he hugged you tightly and comforted you as much as he could. His quick and muddled words made you laugh which in turn caused him to smile.

He eventually got you to lay back down with him, the two of you cocooned in blankets. He made small talk to comfort you more as you went back to sleep, asking questions like what your day was like that day, what you like to dream about, even why you like the kind of bread that you like. Even when you finally did get back to sleep, he didn’t let go.

“If you found a monster living under your bed would you charge it rent?“ A weird question but one that calmed you down and confused you.

Homelander

He woke up quickly once he heard your sporadic heartbeat. When you panic, he panics, so he was waking you up immediately to see what was wrong.

You expected him to scoff when you told him that it was a nightmare but instead his eyes softened and he held you close to him. He wasn’t used to being comforting but he tried to remember what Stilwell and some of the people who “worked” with him as a child used to say. It was comforting in it’s own way and eventually you fell asleep.

“We have nothing to fear but fear itself.” Of course it was a patriotic quote.

He finds it endearing. Naki tries to do this, to a rather annoying degree, so for you to be subtle about it is a good change.

He noticed the handwriting bit on one of the days he was going through paperwork. There was a slip that he didn’t remember writing. He was about to write himself off as crazy until he noticed a small deviation in the handwriting. It was your handwriting.

He notices that your sleeping and resting positions start to mirror his own. He finds it sweet.

When you start cracking your knuckles like him, he does get a little concerned. His reasons for doing so aren’t pleasant and are just out of trauma induced compulsions. In the end he decides that he doesn’t mind since you’re coming from a place of love. It makes him realize that he doesn’t have to associate it with pain anymore now that you’re here.

He also notices that you’re starting to do the same quick grin that he does. This gets him grinning more.

Naki

The king of mimicry getting mimicked? He’s so happy!

He mimics Yamori because he loves and admires him so when you start mimicking him, he’s just elated and thankfully, you now match that enthusiasm!

He notices that you start doing the same giddy mannerisms that he does when you’re excited.

You’re even developing a bit of his emotional streak, you don’t cry like he does though, you just get a bit more choked up than you usually would.

He’s a quiet man but he’s got plenty of mannerisms that are so unequivocally him that it’s hard not to notice when you’re mimicking him.

You get quieter and more thoughtful like he does.

You start to stare off and situate yourself like he does.

He’s another one who finds it extremely endearing and personal. It’s another thing that cements your love for him in his mind.

He doesn’t bring it up but when he sees you start to doodle on papers more than you usually would, he gets really happy.

Considering that he also struggles with affections, he considers this to be the peak of PDA. It’s like something out of a documentary…A documentary that he could make…Quick! Get the camera!

Eey I got an idea

Yamori, Naki and ur homelander boyos with a gn or male s/o that's autistic and has a lot of cute, happy stims, like swaying from side to side, flapping their fists when bored, whistling like a bird, hopping a bit on their heels, swishing their leg from side to side or bouncing their leg and such

But s/o has too anxious stims that can be confused by the happy ones, like flapping their open hands with a rather neutral expression when being rlly anxious, tapping their foot real fast and having to switch which foot their tapping since they get tired fast and that makes them sway a bit from side to side, whistling a rlly specific melody over and over again when scared or anxious, trying to swishing their leg/foot a but too agressively and bouncing it way too fast to be comfy and maybe scratching their own hands and arms ¯\_(ツ)_/

Idk I just got my own stims and hope that's some good examples and you can work with it, I was just curious on how the boyos would react to a s/o like that and such

He’s a very patient man so he doesn’t get annoyed with you at all. He also just loves you so annoyance is off the table for him when it comes to you.

He goes out of his way to make sure that you’re not put in a position that could make you feel overwhelmed or uncomfortable when you’re with him.

He strikes me as a guy who has days where he just prefers not to talk so if you get like that too, he already understands.

Feeds into whatever you hyperfixate on. He’s got money to throw around so go crazy.

He makes sure Naki understands your boundaries. He’s sweet but he’s a little too overexcited sometimes.

Likes to hear you babble on.

Gets on people for making you upset in any way. He doesn’t tolerate that.

His quiet and calm demeanor at home is a huge comfort and is seriously grounding.

Naki

He genuinely didn’t know until you told him.

He wants you to tell him if there’s anything that you need or if there’s anything he can do.

Your boundaries and needs are very important to him. Your comfort is his top priority!

Pays attention to your mood and surroundings just in case you feel like you need some time and space for yourself to collect yourself.

He likes how you think a bit differently than others. He’s a little odd so he likes bouncing his goofy ideas off of you.

If you’re someone who needs to be moving your hands or fiddling with something then please play with his hands. He really wants you to and he gets to be helpful!

He wants you to be open with him about how you feel so he’ll try his hardest to lessen any anxiety you might have about telling him things you’re feeling or needing.

Have hyperfixations on specific things? Tell him about them! He likes hearing about what you like and why you do.

Those days where you just don’t really feel like being sociable or verbal, he lets you do you.

He’s as supportive as a person can get so he’ll do anything and everything he can to be accommodating and make you feel loved and understood.

Homelander

Like I said in my OCD post, he doesn’t totally understand or have patience for it at first.

He’s probably one of those people who does the whole “Just be normal!” type of spiel.

He does soften up and become more understanding later on.

It’s a bit of a “learning curve” for him.

During your relationship, his tolerance for people gets a little better as he learns what you need, what your limits/boundaries are, and how you do things.

The first time it really becomes something he gets and finds common ground with was at a Vought event.

He didn’t want to go, and he knew that you really didn’t want to go but you had to.

The music and the people were very loud. It was overstimulating but he had to keep going. Gotta keep up appearances. Then he heard your breathing really change.

He looked across the room to see you in the corner. He knew he was overstimulated but he could handle it, you couldn’t.

A wave of sympathy hit him hard. Excusing himself as politely as possible, he quickly cut through the crowd to you. Taking your hand, he nodded at you. Within seconds, you were out of there and on the roof. The air was cold and it was quiet in comparison. To your surprise he asked you if you were ok and sighed. He really understood you now.

Mmmay I have some Yamori, Naki, the people from The Boys and whoever else you feel like writing with a s/o that has some tics, obsessive compulsions and rituals?

For example if u want something more specific time work with, maybe s/o shakes their head a bit randomly, whistle for no reason, sometimes squeak when they're anxious and literally can't hold back from doing it (<that's for tics),

When goin a certain path to a ceirtan place they Have to step on a very specific crack on the floor/manhole/floor tile on the way there or they get anxious for the whole day thinking that something bad will happen or feeling physically bad bcz they didn't step on it, having to count a exact same number while stirring the sugar in their coffee in the morning or any time they drink it (<for obsessive conpulsions),

Or maybe needing to have ceirtan stuff in the room arranged in a very specific way before going to sleep and Always counting the things they need to get arranged before turning the lights off or putting things in place in a very specific way when getting back home from work and getting anxious if they're stopped or can't make it right?

Idk, just some stuff I do and can't get myself to stop doing, got curious on how the Cc's would react to that stuff

Notices before you tell him about.

He doesn’t think too much of it. He has his own compulsive tendencies so he won’t say anything about yours.

He does get a little concerned for you. He knows his aren’t great, especially the reasons for them, so he wonders if yours are from the same type of thing.

Starts counting what you do for things like coffee so that he can make sure everything you need is exactly how you like and need it.

If you pick at yourself, he’ll keep it in mind and carry bandaids for you.

If you’re starting to feel anxious, he’ll help as much as he can.

His arms wrapped around you are a good distraction.

He knows it’s a condition and it can make your life hard but he likes the squeaks and whistles you make. It’s distinctly you and he likes it.

He knows that there’s a degree of comfort that comes with fulfilling a habit so he’ll let you do your thing.

If you want to try and change your habits, he will help you as much as he can.

Naki

He has some habits and whatnot himself so he doesn’t really think much of it.

When you tell him that it’s OCD and that it can give you some anxiety, he gets worried.

He calms down after you reassure him that you’re ok if you can chill out and do your thing.

He watches you a lot. Putting exactly 3 cubes of sugar in your coffee because 2 is ok but 3 feels less anxiety inducing, especially because 4 is unlucky but while makes it even, it divides it in a way makes you uncomfortable? Write that down, write that down!

He might start mimicking your compulsions just because he wants to do what you do.

If he notices you getting anxious, he’ll try and get you to think of something else like “Remember that time we talked about how 15 was a comfy number?”

Is acutely aware of your vocal tics. He can’t always distinguish them from distress and just a normal sound.

Wants you to tell him more about your condition so that he understands you better.

His adoption of things like counting has started to help him when he gets overwhelmed and emotional.

He likes your nightly routines. Locking doors, checking windows, and turning on and off lights? He feels safe and now you do too.

Black Noir

He understands.

He has routines for himself so that he can keep his cool so he has no qualms with anything you do.

He won’t even call attention to your tics or any habits you may have. You’re just being you so there’s nothing to say.

He likes having a routine with you and he’ll help you stick with one that calms you down.

Subconsciously listens for/to your noises and breaths.

Immediately notices the excessive movement and tics when you’re nervous. He doesn’t talk but he’ll grab your hand and get you to focus and count or he’ll give you something to focus on.

He likes being neat and tidy so he doesn’t mind the need to have stuff set a certain way.

He really appreciates it if you help him with his compulsions or when he gets really anxious.

He tries his best to make you feel better on those days when you get anxious or restless.

He’s probably one of the best people to be around if you’ve got OCD.

Homelander

As much as I love John, I know that he’d probably be annoyed at first.

Why do you keep doing that? It’s annoying him.

When you tell him why he’s just kind of like “Ok?”.

As much as it confuses him at first, gods forbid someone else brings it up.

Sassy Homie time.

He gets seriously defensive if someone even hints at not liking what you’re doing.

Like Black Noir, he starts to subconsciously listen for you.

Each squeak or timed breath calms him down.

If you ever get anxious or feel like you’re having a breakdown, he’s right there for you. He has his moments so he’ll be there for yours.

He learns your routines pretty quickly so he’ll go through them with you.

Feeling bad? Don’t worry! He’s here so no misstep on the sidewalk will harm you! What do you mean that doesn’t make you feel better?

Might accidentally adopt your habits.

The first thing he does that morning is tell you that he really wants to go to the beach or the pool. And with how excited he is, how could you say no?

He’s so excited that he can barely sit still the whole way there.

If y’all go to the beach, expect to see him charging into the water. He falls on the way to the shoreline but you totally didn’t see that.

He’s a sand castle fiend. Get him a bucket and some seashells and he can build a sand empire.

He loves all the animals that he gets to see. He’ll stop everytime he sees a crab, starfish, snail, etc.

This one’s pretty specific but I love the idea of sitting on a rock on a far end of the beach and holding his hand as he kicks his legs in the water.

If y’all go to the pool then he’ll be equally excited.

He’ll act confident in his swimming abilities but he’ll probably actually need water wings. Does it embarrass him? Probably. Is he still cute? Absolutely.

Definitely slips on the edge of the pool multiple times.

I can see him being one of those people who would hold onto you and drift behind you while in the deep end.

Yamori

He’s a furnace so best believe he’s hot too.

I can see him being partial to snow cones and sorbet. He doesn’t eat either very often but when it’s considerably hotter than usual, he’ll get some.

Undershirt exposed time! Don’t be surprised if you see him walking around in a wife beater and his dress pants.

He doesn’t mind taking an off day with you if it gets too hot.

If you want to go to the beach or a pool then he’ll get it figured out so that y’all can go.

I don’t feel like it would happen often but he looks like someone who’d be able to be in the sun for a good while but the moment they stay out for just a teeny bit too long, they’re a lobster.

He likes to get you lighter clothes during this time. Things like sundresses, skirts, airy shorts, etc.

He’ll want to lay with you in bed with the fan on.

He pulls off sunglasses really nicely.

The hotter days just end up being his free days one way or another so expect to spend a lot more time with him towards the hotter months.

Homelander

He’s completely unphased.

He knows that you’re hot so he does what he can.

Thankfully, he’s got great AC, any and every cold thing you could want at the ready, or he can take you on a “flight” so that you can cool off even faster.

There’s also the Vought pool if you’d rather go swimming.

He wouldn’t mind sitting on the couch, watching reruns, and eating ice cream with you.

He also takes to cat naps on hot days.

Want to fly somewhere colder? Why not!

He’s all about your comfort so even though he’s on his high horse a lot of the time, he still wants you to be happy and safe.

He’s empathetic but sometimes he gets a little overwhelming with the constant questions about how you’re feeling. It’s sweet, and you love him, but sometimes he just needs to understand that you need your space. Eventually he gets it and begrudgingly and nervously leaves you be.

Hugs at moments where he knows you’re really in your head. He’s quiet when he hugs you during these times and you can really feel how much he cares. He loves you so much and he knows how you feel.

He’ll try to set up stuff like comfort movie/show nights on the couch, he’ll try to get you out of a funk with a bit of a schedule, lots of words of affirmation, and cuddling like there’s no tomorrow when y’all go to bed.

When you start to feel better, he’ll be so happy. He’s always going to be there for you no matter what. You mean the world to him.

Yamori

He understands because he goes through similar episodes himself.

He’ll take time off of work to be there for you and make sure that you’re ok. He’ll be sure to give you space while he’s home.

While he wishes that you’d talk to him about how you’re feeling, he knows that sometimes there just isn’t a reason or you don’t want to talk. He respects this decision.

A lot more affectionate when you’re like this. He’ll try to be subtle with it but other times he stops you in the hallway and just hugs you for a while in silence.

He’ll try to take you to places that might make you feel better. You like animals? Why don’t we go to the bird sanctuary so we can sit down and look at them for a while. Want to go to a petting zoo? Rented out so you can be there for as long as you need by yourself.

When you start feeling better he’ll be happy and very relieved. When you go to sleep that night, he’ll hold you tighter than ever.

So, we all know how gorgeous Yamori's kagune is right? So, remember when Nishiki's gf got all frozen with how pretty she thought that Touka's kagune looked? So, Yamori with a s/o that reacts the same way when they see his kagune for the first time and loves looking at it, petting it and even seeing Yamori fighting with other people using it

Idk I just rlly love the design of his kagunes and they look rlly soft even with the pointy tips and such and thought it would probably feel nice to cuddle with them so yeh

He’s got a beautiful kagune, there’s no doubt about it.

Their glimmer, their form, how they move, it’s all so amazing! It’s almost like watching liquid crystal flow and move. Gods you want to touch it so bad.

Is that too invasive or in appropriate? You don’t know for sure but while you save yourself the embarrassment by not asking, you’re still stopping yourself from experiencing him fully.

The first time you saw it was life changing.

You’d been out with him on a rather dangerous outing and things did not go well. It was at a point where he had to use his kagune.

Watching him use it was amazing.

It was an odd thing to think but it was almost majestic in a way.

The more you watched him, the more your need for contact grew.

It made you somewhat sad once it was over. You obviously didn’t want him to get hurt but you also didn’t want to miss the opportunity to get closer to him.

He knocked you out of your frozen stupor to ask if you were alright. You said you were fine and then the both of you went on your way.

It’d been a good while since then but again, the need was still there.

You were honestly at a point where it was almost painful to not say anything. So you finally decided that you would.

Because you were worried about what he might say, you decided to wait until you were both winding down and getting ready for bed.

Lordy it was tough to form the words but you managed to.

He gave you an unreadable look before getting up.

You expected him to get up to leave but he took off his shirt instead. Then came what you’d been dreaming of.

Crystalline.

You stood from your spot on the bed and made your way over to him. It was almost surreal.

And then he told you to touch it.

It was like a dream come true.

They felt warmer than you’d imagined but also a tad strange. They were scaly but smooth. You could feel a slight pulse in them as you ran your fingers across them.

He stiffened slightly as you made it back to his shoulder blade before relaxed again.

You knew he wasn’t one for sappy words or niceties so you opted to show your love and appreciation another way.

It was a tad tough but he curled his kagune in once he got what you were going for.

You couldn’t get your arms all the way around him and your front pressed to his back was a bit rough but you didn’t care. The feeling of him was perfect and you knew he understood what the hug meant.

It was probably the most intimate moment you’d ever shared.
