Part 7 is here. Check out my MASTERLIST for more.
You didn't want to open your eyes.
You had woken up a while ago and realised you were back home when you heard your father's voice. He was singing to you, more humming than actually saying the words but... you recognised the lullaby. It was something he used to hum to you when you were sick or couldn't sleep as a child.
It was incredibly personal, one of the few memories that you cherished with him.
So why did he have to do it in front of Keigo?
It took every fibre in your being to not get up and strangle him while pulling his eyeballs out.
"You have a soothing voice." Keigo whispered from your side, brushing your hair with his hand, while you clawed the sheets from under the covers.
Dabi smiled, feeling perfectly content now that he had his most precious treasures in front of him, safe and sound. "How are you feeling now? Do your wings still hurt?"
"Not as much. Emperor Kai's healers did their magic. I'll be flying again in no time." Keigo sighed as he looked at you. "Its her I'm more worried about, Dabi."
"Why? Kai already healed any minor injuries she had-"
"Physically, yes, she's healed. But what about mentally?"
"What about it?" Dabi pushed, eyes narrowing. Keigo sat up straighter. "Dabi, regardless of what AFO did or that you saved her-" "we saved her, Keigo." "- right. Regardless, she... she will be affected by all of it. That was her mother's homeland, her people, and AFO was her grandfather. You and I both know Y/n isnt one to just- just hate anyone or hold grudges. She'll be crushed by AFO's death, or all those villagers deaths. I mean, you did see how she reacted to Tomura's death-"
"That's enough." Dabi snapped, voice barely containing the rage he felt. "You will never speak of those names again, Keigo. What happened to them, what I did to them- it was a kindness! A mercy compared to the punishment that they deserved and would've gotten if it weren't for Y/n being there."
"But Y/n-"
"We will take care of Y/n. You and me, together will help her forget about those traitorous bastards and everything will return to normal." Dabi closed his eyes, pausing before opening them again. "We are all that she needs, Keigo. Now more than ever."
The blonde smiled softly before moving off the bed and over to Dabi, the latter gently pulling the blonde into his lap, hands cautiously settling on the base of his wings.
"I never doubt you, Dabi." Keigo whispered as he kissed him. "I trust you with my life, and Y/n's." Dabi smiled against his lips. He adored how protective Keigo was over you, and he's the only one who is allowed to be possessive over you.
"I know, love." Dabi murmured, tightening his grip on the blonde's hips when he tried to move. "Where are you going?"
"Gonna make something for Y/n to eat."
"The kitchen staff-"
"-will mess it up,I just know it. Just let me handle this Dabi. I'll be back soon, hm?"
Dabi sighed. "Dont take too long." He watched him leave before turning back towards you, taking your hand in his as he resumed humming the lullaby.
He traced his thumb over your wrists, staring at it absentmindedly as his mind went back to the events of the battlefield, heart swelling up with joy at his victory over AFO and his entire kingdom. His lips quirked up slightly as he recalled the screams of the people burning.
They deserved it.
They deserved it and so much more for what they did to you, for taking away his one and only child and torturing you in god knows what horrendous way they came up with.
Isn't that why you looked so miserable and devastated at the battlefield?
Dabi's eyes flicked to your face, widening when they met your own.
You were awake.
"Y/n!" Dabi squeezed your hand before getting up to sit on your bed. Taking your face in his hands as he looked at you with concern. "I- are you okay? How are you feeling now?"
Hollow eyes stared at him, your mouth remained sealed shut as you looked at him. But just before it creeped Dabi, you blinked and then tears started to fall down your face.
Dabi immediately (but gently) pulled you to his chest, practically sitting you in his lap like a child, arms wrapping themselves around you like a warm cocoon to calm you down as he continued to look down at you with even more worry when great sobs racked your body.
"Y/n? Oh baby- its okay, its okay! You're fine." He pulled your face away from his chest, cradling your face in his hands as his thumbs wiped away the tears from your cheeks. "No one is mad at you. I am not mad at you, more concerned is all. When you went missing, I- I thought you were dead. I thought you were dead and it hurt, Y/n. It hurt me that you died hating your father, and I never want that. I just-" Dabi closes his eyes and sighs before opening them. "I dont blame you for your actions. You ran away because of me, and while that may not have been the wisest decision, I understand and... I forgive you. You were misled by people you trusted, and they paid for their actions. Now, I want us to start anew again. Put everything behind us and become a happy family again. You, me and Keigo, together against the world, hm? How does that sound?" You all but wailed louder at the mention of that whore's name, but Dabi just percieved it as you being overwhelmed and pulled you tighter against his chest.
With one hand rubbing circles in your back while the other was carded in your hair, Dabi kissed your temple, smiling softly as you cried hard into him.
"Its okay. Let it all out, Y/n. I've got you, baby. I've got you."
And I'm never letting go. Ever.
-
Dabi left once you'd calmed down, saying that he was going to inform Keigo that you were finally awake. You of course, would rather gouge out your eyes than meet that murderer, but that idea was thrown out the window when your nanny knocked on your door, Inko looking visibly surprised to see you awake.
She all but rushed over to hug you, tears falling from her eyes as she pulled away from you suddenly, bowing her head as she apologised for touching you. You smiled sadly before opening up your arms, and Inko hugged you again. She was allowed to drop royal protocol, the woman had practically raised you.
A few minutes later and you heard Keigo and Dabi walking in the hallway. You pulled away from Inko and told her to tell them that you were taking a bath.
"Please! Just tell them you drew me a bath, I- I-" Inko didn't need to be told twice as she ushered you towards the bathroom and quickly shut the door behind her, right in time for Dabi and Keigo to barge in.
"Where is she?! Where's Y/n?" Keigo asked, whipping his around for you, as if you'd be hiding somewhere. Inko bowed, greeting the two men, raising her head only to see Keigo looking at her impatiently and Dabi raising a brow at her.
"Well?"
"The princess is taking a bath, your Majesty. I had recommended it to help heal her wounds better-" She began lying, but Dabi cut her off.
"Let me know when she's ready. Dress her in soft clothes, I want her to be comfortable. You will take care of it, hm?" Dabi ordered, and Inko bowed her head in obedience.
"Of course, your Majesty."
"Come on, Keigo. She'll be back soon. Why don't you continue making her lunch? We'll all eat here." Dabi suggested, his hand on Keigo's back guiding him out of the room.
You sighed as you heard them leave, closing your eyes as it dawned that you had escaped facing Keigo but only momentarily.
Inko entered the bath, smiling apologetically as she knew that you didn't like Keigo.
"I'll draw you a bath, princess. Why don't you wait on the bed, hm?" You nodded, going to sit on your bed just as someone else knocked on the door.
You nodded at Inko and she opened the door to see who it was before harshly whispering at someone to leave.
"Who is it?" You asked, standing up. Inko looked back at you apologetically before pushing the door open and revealing-
"Izuku." You whispered. Your childhood best friend was wearing his Knight armour as he beamed brightly at you.
"Princess." He greeted. "May I come in?" He asked only to be whacked on his head by his mom. "Izuku! She's busy and besides, the Princess needs to rest-"
"Its alright, Inko. He can come in." You nodded, as the woman let out a sigh of relief before going back to drawing you the bath.
Izuku walked towards you and you motioned for him to sit down next to you on the bed. "Its been a while." He started. You hummed. "It has. And I'm sorry."
Izuku gave you a quizzical look. "What for?"
"For how I treated you before I left." You looked down at your hands, playing with your fingers. "For snapping at you. That was uncalled for-"
Izuku grabbed your hands, his large rough ones engulfing yours. "You don't have to explain anything to me, Y/n." You shook your head. "I want to." You whispered, as your voice turned wobbly. "I don't want to lose- I cant- T-Tomura-" Izuku pulled you into a hug before your tears could fall. He patted your back and hushed you. "Shh, you won't lose me. I promise, I won't go anywhere."
-
You sat on your bed uncomfortably with Keigo and Dabi in the room. The maids had brought up a small table and chairs with food to your room, since Dabi thought it'd be best to dine here while you rest. You however, can't rest as long as that murderer is in the room.
Sure, Dabi killed your grandfather and killed many of the villagers, but you could see where he was coming from. Your father's reaction was somewhat reasonable since his daughter, his only heir, was kidnapped and he didn't know whether you were being tortured or dead. And you can see it however you want, but deep down you blame Keigo for AFO's death.
You blame him for the villagers deaths.
You blame him for your mother's death.
You blame him for Tomura's death.
"How's your soup?" Dabi asked.
"Its good." You said without looking up from your plate, just like the past 20 minutes. You can't bare to bring yourself to look up at him, unsure if your heart will break more at the sight of him whoring to your dad or if you'll end up raging and kill him on the spot.
"Of course it is. Keigo made it himself for you." Dabi locked eyes with the blonde, who blushed. "Dont you wanna say thank you?"
Here we go again.
There was a audible shift in the energy of the room. The tension could be cut with a knife, as Dabi once again forced you to interact with Keigo.
Keigo leaned towards the king. "Dabi, I don't think that's necessary-"
"Thank you." You said, finally looking up and directly at Keigo, a small courteous smile on your lips. "It tastes delicious. Thank you for going out of your way for me."
Keigo's mouth parted in shock, this was- this was the first time you looked at him with genuine respect- talked to him nicely. Even Dabi was surprised at your change in behaviour, he didn't expect you to actually be grateful, maybe spat out a forced thanks with a grimace but not this, not you actually finishing the bowl of soup.
"I- oh, it's no trouble. I'm glad you liked it." Keigo managed to say, looking at Dabi with confusion, but the king only grinned.
He was glad you were coming around, beyond happy that you were going to turn over a new leaf with him.
It's about time.
Just then, a guard came in, apologising for interrupting but requesting the king's attention for an urgent matter.
Dabi left, promising to return soon with letters from Enji and grandma Rei, and his siblings.
Keigo cleared his throat as the two of you were left alone. "Oh, you finished your soup! I'll give you some more- oh, where are you going?" He asked, watching you peel the covers away and get off the bed. "To the bathroom? Let me help you-" He moved to grab your hand but you snatched it away, before continuing to move to the bathroom.
You didn't close the door behind you, perhaps you wanted him to follow you if you fell or something. But when you got on your knees in front of the toilet bowl and locked eyes with him, Keigo knew he wasn't going to like what he was about to see.
In the next second, you had shoved fingers down your throat and gagged until you induced vomiting, emptying your stomach out.
Keigo rushed towards you, eyes wide in horror as he asked why did you do that. But you didn't answer him. Instead, you called out to Inko (who intentionally pushed Keigo away from you when she saw you on the floor, looking faint and out of breath).
"Princess! Are you alright? Should I get the physician?" You shook your head.
"No, just- just had some disgusting soup that made me sick. Could you- could you do me favour and get rid of it? I swear, just the smell of it in my room is making me lurch again." You commented while looking at Keigo.
Inko only nodded as she helped you back in bed before taking out all the food in your room, but not before asking Keigo to leave.
"My apologies, sir, but I think it'd be best to let the princess rest for now." She said, not sounding sorry at all, practically blocking his view of you as she stood in front of him, eyes staring into him boldly.
Had Keigo not been shocked by your actions, he would've had smacked her across the face for such blatant disrespect.
But Keigo left silently. He needed to process what just happened.
-
Two more weeks passed by, and you had received many letters from your loved ones and friends. Your father was still far too paranoid or perhaps it was his possessiveness that didn't allow you to have any visitors. The option of you stepping out of the castle was out of the question, even you knew that. But he could've let your grandparents see you, or even your friends who were actually there with him on the battlefield.
At least uncle Shotou was here. He sat by your side on a chair, while you were in your bed, back propped up against the headboard.
"They're all worried about me." You mumbled as you opened another letter. "I feel bad making them worry over me. Don't you think I should meet them to let them know I'm well?"
Shotou nodded. "I agree with you but your father still hasn't budged from his decision. He says that it's just not safe yet for you to meet people, and that you should still rest until you're better."
"But I am better! Any minor injuries that I sustained have healed ages ago." You whined. "Its just- its frustrating being alone in this castle!"
He tilted his head slightly. "You're not alone, Y/n. You have me, your father, the servants, the knights-"
"You know what I mean." You sighed. "Its okay if he doesn't want me too meet anyone else, but can't I at least visit... mum? I can go with him, or you, or even the guards- I just- I just need to see her! It's been too long."
Shotou heaved a sigh. "I had brought it up to Dabi, but... he said no."
You remained quiet for a few moments, looking down at your lap as your brows furrowed.
"He's mad at me." You mumbled.
Shotou's head shot up. "Y/n?"
You nodded, sniffling a little. "He's mad at me. That's why he won't let me meet anyone. That's why he won't let go see mom. He- he thinks it's my fault that I was with AFO." You bit your lip. "And it is. I did run away from him. But only because I was mad at him. I thought that some time away from each other would heal our problems. But... nothing changed. If anything, we're more far apart than we were before. He- he's punishing me. And people are getting hurt because of that- because of me-"
Shotou cut you off by holding your face and turning you to him. "Y/n, this isn't your fault. None of it is. And your dad, he's not mad at you. He's not punishing you. He's just- its just taking him some time to cope with all of this. You have to see where he's coming from, hm? He lost you- he thought you were dead. And now that he got you back, he's just- he doesn't want anything to hurt you, anyone to take you away from him again." He said, which made you cry even more and Shotou pulled your head to his chest, patting your back as your tears wet his garments.
After Shotou left your room, he went upto Dabi's office, hoping to convince him to let you meet Rei and Enji at least. But before he could knock, he overheard Keigo's moans and he immeadiately turned on his heel and left, hands clenching into fists at the thought of that disgusting whore.
He reached his room and sat on his desk, thinking of what to do to help you. Even if Keigo wanst there, Shotou doubts Dabi would've listened to him. So... if he wasn't going to do something, then maybe Shotou could help you?
You are the princess after all, the next heir to the throne. It is his duty to help you in whatever way possible.
Pulling out a sheet of paper, Shotou grabbed his quill and began writing away.
-
Keigo and Dabi laid in each others arms, Keigo's hand resting on Dabi's bare chest while the latter played with the blonde's hair.
"What's on your mind?" Dabi asked.
Keigo raised his brows and shook his head. "Nothing much."
"You should know better than to lie to your king by now, hm?" Dabi commented before asking again. "Come on, tell me."
Truthfully, Keigo was concerned over his last interaction with you. Why were you so hostile towards him? But earlier, in front of Dabi, you were so nice to him.
Keigo sighed, nuzzling closer to Dabi. "I'm just concerned about Y/n."
Dabi softly smiled. He liked it when Keigo worried over you.
"She'll be fine, Kei. She just needs to adjust to everything. Time heals all wounds." Keigo didn't reply and Dabi could see that he was still thinking about you. When you were gone, Dabi felt like this was the end of the world. He could only imagine the heartbreak Keigo was going through. They both loved you, and now that they had you back, their anxiety didn't go away completely. They still couldn't believe it, that you were still alive and well with them. In fact, the first night after they brought you home, Dabi didn't sleep a wink. No, he kept on checking in on you. Keigo, despite his injuries and heavy medication, was in a similar state.
"Why don't you go and check in on her? It'll put your mind to ease." Dabi offered, sitting up to pour himself some wine. Keigo nodded happily as he pulled away, kissing Dabi's cheek before wrapping a robe around him and scurrying out of the room, the king chuckling at the sight.
Even when you were a kid, Keigo often found himself watching over your sleeping form, something about it made him feel at peace. To see you safe and sound, in arms reach to protect you from any harm that should befall you... perhaps that's exactly what Keigo needed at the moment.
He made his way to your room, the guards at your door knew not to stop him- it was Dabi's orders. Keigo softly knocked on your door, waiting to see if you're still awake. After a few moments of silence, he slowly opened the door and crept inside.
There you were, lying on your side, tucked under the floral covers that reached upto your nose. Your hair sprawled out over the pillow, a few wisps framing your face under the glow of the lantern in the room. Your lips were slightly parted and Keigo smiled at how you looked the same as you did when you were a baby.
He walked closer and brushed the hair out of your face, and leaned down to kiss your forehead as his hands pulled the covers closer to you. He turned to leave but halted when he heard a whimper.
He looked at your face, which was now scrunched up as if in pain. Before he could do anything, you started mumbling frantically, your head moving side to side, your voice turning loud as your words became audible.
"No! No! Stop, Im sorry- STOP! STOP! STOP! KEIGO STOP-!" Keigo rushed to wake you up from your nightmare, only for your eyes to snap open as you began thrashing in his arms, pushing away from him as you began screaming for help, tears streaming down your face as you backed away so far that you fell off the bed, still shrieking for him to get away, just in time for the Dabi to burst in your room with your guards.
"DAD!" You yelled, your body shaking as he made his way towards you. "HE'S GOING TO KILL ME! HE'S GOING TO KILL ME!" You cried out, pointing at Keigo.
"Y/n, honey, calm down. He's not going to hurt-" Dabi tried to console you, taking your shoulders in his hands but you were inconsolable. He looked at Keigo, and the blonde saw the slightest flicker of doubt- no, accusation; an incriminating look in those cerulean eyes.
"I didn't do anything, Dabi. She was having a nightmare and-" he tried to explain himself, something he didn't think he'd need to do with Dabi.
"HE'LL KILL ME! HE'LL KILL ME! HE'LL KILL ME LIKE HE HE KILLED TOMURA!" You continued rambling on, tears streaking your cheeks, not taking your eyes off Keigo for a moment, as if afraid that he'd strike you at a chance.
Dabi looked at your face, concern arising at the raw fear in your eyes. Its only when a trail of crimson left your nose and your chest began heaving heavily did Dabi finally say the words.
"Keigo, leave."
The blonde took a step closer towards you. "No Dabi, I can help-"
Dabi snapped his head back at him and with unbridled rage in his face, he yelled at him.
"I'M ORDERING YOU TO LEAVE! NOW!"
Keigo's heart shattered at the venomous tone, and his face showed it. But right now, Dabi was more concerned about his daughter not having a panic attack or passing out. He could worry about Keigo later, you were the priority now.
You're the priority.
As Keigo left, Dabi picked you up and placed you back in your bed, promising to spend the night by your side. With the way your eyes remained wide open, he was worried you wouldn't sleep. But sleep finally overcame you as you were held by Dabi, your head lying on his warm chest, barely hiding the coy smile as he told the guard to inform Keigo that he won't be returning to bed tonight.
-
The next morning, when you woke up, you were still curled up in Dabi's lap. True to his word, he stayed with you the entire time, and it didn't seem like he slept much.
"How are you feeling now?" He asked, eyes slightly tired from the lack of sleep.
"I'm better, thank you." You whispered, getting off his lap. You looked up at him, brows knitting together as you tried to think of what to say next, or about last night. "I- last night... I-"
He waved you off. "We'll talk after breakfast. I think you're well enough to join us in the dining hall, hm?" You nodded as he got up and walked closer to you, cupping your cheek with one hand as he leaned down to kiss your forehead.
"My precious." He smiled before leaving your room, right in time for Inko to come in to help you get ready for breakfast.
Dabi returned to his room where he wasn't surprised to see Keigo pacing around, worriedly. From the dark circles and red eyes, Dabi figured the blonde hadn't slept.
"Dabi, I am so sorry-" He started but was cut off by Dabi wrapping his arms around him.
"Its okay. Not your fault." He sighed, pulling away to kiss Keigo on the lips. But the blonde wanted to still clarify himself.
"I didn't do anything, Dabi- she just- she had a nightmare and I was just trying to he'll her-"
"I know, Keigo. I know." Dabi stared into his scared eyes and his gaze softened. "But you need to understand that when I tell you to do something, you do it without question. Without a second thought. Y/n is- she's still a child, as much as she pretends to be a grown up, deep down all of these events have scarred her in way or another. We have to give her time and we have to help her, hm?"
Keigo only nodded before resting his head on Dabi's chest, wanting to be comforted as well.
"Let's eat, hm?"
-
The three of you sat on the dining table, eating in awkward silence. You and Keigo didn't meet each other's eyes, Dabi kept looking between you two, hoping one of you would finally start talking.
He cleared his throat.
"I'm sorry-!" You and Keigo said together. You spoke again before he could (as you should, according to royal protocol. But everyone knows the King's favourite isn't one to follow rules.)
"I am sorry, for how I behaved last night, Keigo. I- I was having a nightmare and-" you sighed. "-Its not your fault. I reacted very poorly and I shouldn't have pushed you away or been afraid of you, I just- I just-" Dabi grabbed your hand and squeezed it affirmatively when he saw remorse in your eyes.
"Its okay, really. I didn't mind it, and I know it wasn't your fault either. But I have to ask... was the nightmare about me?" Keigo asked cautiously.
You looked up at him before looking away, eyes slowly welling up with tears. That was enough of an answer for him and Keigo could feel his heart drop at the thought of you being afraid of him.
"I am- I think I just need- I need some time to get used to you again..." you say.
Dabi hummed, giving a quick glance to Keigo who nodded begrudgingly as well.
"Well, now that this topic is over, I was thinking of sharing some good news." Dabi said, making the two look at him. "Since you seem to be in good health, I was thinking you could visit your mother. What do you think?"
"Really?" You whispered in disbelief.
Dabi nodded. "Of course, I'd be accompanying. Don't want you fainting or-" you cut him off by a big hug and loads of "thank you's".
He let you be excused so that you could get ready while Keigo watched him with a slightly hurt expression in his eyes.
"So... I shouldn't come with you two?" He asked in a low tone.
Dabi met his eyes and held his gaze before softening them. "I think some space between you both would benefit for her. After last night, I don't think she's strong mentally, Keigo. Her mother is a sensitive topic as it is... I can't risk her having another episode like last night."
Keigo stared at his plate before nodding, not meeting his eyes. "I understand. E-excuse me." He left the room.
Dabi knew being apart from you was the last thing Keigo ever wanted but... he could make him understand later. For now, Dabi needs to focus on you.
-
"Thank you." You said to your father who was behind you, holding the reins of his horse you rode on together. He insisted on sharing one ride, and you felt closer to him while he felt content now that you were in his arms, safe and secure.
"What for?" Dabi asked.
"Everything." You looked down at your hands and then ahead at the road. "For going with me to see mom. And for taking care of her grave. For last night, when you held me."
Dabi smiled and kissed the top of your head.
Soon you two had reached the castle and were getting off the horse when Shotou came out beaming.
"Someone is waiting for you-"
"Y/N!" Rei yelled as she dropped royal protocol and practically ran down the stairs of the entry door to hug you. "My child!" She began crying into your shoulder as her arms squeezed your form so hard that it almost began to hurt.
"Honey, you're going to break her." A familiar voice said, making you pull back from Rei.
"Grandpa!" You squealed as the older man caught you when you jumped, spinning you around as you buried your face into his neck, arms barely reaching around his broad shoulders.
"My doll, my little princess." He cooed as he kissed your forehead, his own eyes getting a little misty.
"Enji, stop hogging her." Rei smacked his arm.
He frowned. "Honey, I'm not hogging her-"
"Yes, you are!" Someone yelled as they yanked you out of his arms and into their own. "I've missed you so much, my baby!" She cried as she rubbed her cheek against yours.
"Hello, Aunt Fuyumi." You chuckled as you patted her arms to let go but she held you tighter. Fortunately, Dabi came to your rescue.
"You're hurting her, Fuyumi." He said as he pulled you away and behind him. Fuyumi gave him a quick bow and "Your Majesty." Before punching his shoulder. "I was worried about you! Would it have killed you to write back to me?!"
"I've been... busy." He replied. "Besides, I needed some alone time with my daughter before you came to hog her."
"I can't help it that she's my favorite neice!" Fuyumi defended.
"I'm your only neice..." you mumbled from behind Dabi. "Also, Where's uncle Natsuo-"
A loud crash was heard, making Dabi immeadiately turn and push you behind him. Of course, speak of the devil and the devil shall-
"I'm here!" Natsuo huffs as he gets off the horse he just crashed into some poor guards (their unconscious bodies are being dragged away).
He walks up the steps and quickly bows to his parents and Dabi before locking eyes with you and manically grinning as he lifts you up in his arms and spins around, making you chortle as you slap his arms to slow down.
"Oh youre a sight for sore eyes, you little brat!" He came to halt and you had to grab his arms to stabilise yourself. He pinched your nose, making you whine. "I'm never letting you go alone now! Gonna take you to battles with me, if I have to. Missed you too much."
You smiled sweetly at him. "I missed you too, uncle."
The Todoroki clan had decided to stay a week or two over at Dabi's castle, much to his dismay. Of course he doesn't like the fact that Enji and the rest of his family will be breathing down your neck, but Shotou convinced him to let them spend time with you here rather than whisking you away to Enji's kingdom where it'll be harder for Dabi to keep an eye on you (and not to mention the trauma he still hasn't recovered from since that was the place he lost you last time).
While you were being coddled and spending some quality time with the Todoroki clan, Keigo was finding ways to stay out of their way. He had initially greeted them when they arrived, but from their cold attitude and death stares, he'd much rather be ignored by them. And it's not like he or Dabi doesn't know how the royal family dislikes Keigo, so Dabi would often leave you with his family while he went to console his lover.
By the end of the week, as much Dabi wouldn't like to admit, you had looked much better and healthier since his family came. You looked happier, brighter. They were all having dinner together in the big dinning hall. Dabi sat at the head of the table, Rei to his right, then you and then Enji because of course your grandparents want you squished between them. Fuyumi, Natsuo and Shotou sat to Dabi's left.
"Baby you need to eat more! I could see your ribs from here." Rei said as she put another serving of food on your plate.
"But I'm full-"
"No, you're not. Now eat those veggies, I don't need your pretty hair falling out." Rei cooed as you begrudgingly followed her orders. She then narrows her eyes at Dabi. "You too Dabi, eat your veggies. Only drinking wine isn't healthy!"
Dabi hummed nonchalantly. "Yes, mom." He said, eyes trained towards the door. He sighed before beckoning a servant, whispering something to him. The servant nodded obediently and left.
"Aww, are you really going to eat veggies? What a good mama's boy you are." Natsuo teased, only to be whacked on the head by Fuyumi.
"Yeah, I'm having them bring more food." Dabi smiled.
A few minutes later, the hall doors opened and in walked-
Concubine Keigo.
The man who had been good at hiding himself for the better part of the week, was now walking towards Dabi. He bowed to him first, before bowing to the rest of the family. Even though his siblings masked their displeasure at seeing Keigo, his parents, especially Rei, made no such efforts.
She threw a nasty look when Dabi had someone bring a chair and seat Keigo next to him.
"You're going to eat with us?" Rei asked, not holding back the disgust in her tone.
"Mother." Dabi warned.
"What?" Rei shrugged, slicing her steak elegantly. "I'm just curious. I thought this was a family dinner."
Dabi's eyes darkened. "He is family." He looked at Keigo before bringing his hand to his lips, kissing it softly. "And if he wasn't before, he will be now."
The table had went dead silent as they all looked at Dabi, anticipating the bomb he was about to drop on them. Somehow, you already knew you were going to dread the news he was about to share.
"We're getting married."
And just like that, the curtain of happiness drops, your world shatters.
"I was going to wait a few more weeks before announcing, but since Y/n had been feeling better and you all came, I decided now would be the best time. I had proposed to Keigo long before Y/n was kidnapped-" you stopped hearing after that, you couldn't even if you tried. Your heart was beating too fast, too loudly for you to hear anything.
Is your father really going to marry Keigo? The man who killed your mother? The man who killed Tomura? Did Dabi even care about you anymore-
"Y/n?" Dabi called. Under the table, Enji held your hand and gave it a squeeze, pulling you out of your thoughts.
You looked at Dabi and Keigo, who were holding hands.
"Congratulations." You smiled. "When's the date?"
Everyone was surprised at your composure, Keigo who was holding his breath finally sighed in relief while Dabi looked proudly at you.
You've really matured.
"Well, we were thinking later this week, since everyone is still here. What do you say, Y/n?" Dabi asks, sipping his wine.
You hummed. "Very wise. Let me know if I could be of any help." The dinner soon ended, and you could feel everyone's eyes on you (except for Dabi and Keigo, they were looking at each other like they wanted to rip their clothes off).
Instead of joining the family in the garden for a walk, you excused yourself and left for your room. And only after you had closed your door did you finally let the tears fall.
How could he do this to you? How could your father marry that murderous skank? Was it to show you up? To teach you a lesson? It couldn't possibly be- because he loves Keigo, could it?
"No." You whispered harshly, as you sat on your bed. If this marriage happens, it'll put Keigo in a much powerful position, and it'll br far harder for you to take him down.
And not to mention, by law, you would have to bow down to him.
Concubines never get to be more superior than legitimate heirs, but since Keigo was already a favourite, and your lack of a quirk makes everyone question your legitimacy as a heir and a ruler, you have no doubt that Dabi will make you kneel to his slut.
Someone knocked on your door. "Come in." You said, fixing yourself.
It was Rei and Enji, concerned looks etched on their faces. Looking at them, you couldn't help the tears that welled up.in your eyes again.
"Oh honey~" Rei cooed with open arms as she hugged you, letting you sniffle into her gown.
"I- I'm sorry-" you tried to say, as you pulled away only for Rei to pull you closer to her. She sat on your bed and positioned herself in a way so that you could lay your head in her lap.
"You don't have to be brave anymore, Y/n." Rei said as she ran her finger through your hair. Your tears slipped down your face as you watched Enji sit on the foot end of your bed, taking your feet in his lap and rubbing your ankles.
"None of this is your fault, Y/n." Rei said. "I still want to go and yell at Dabi for even letting that whore sit with us, let alone marrying him-"
"Rei." Enji warned.
She huffed. "Your grandpa says that wouldn't be wise." She kissed your cheek. "How about you come with us? Hm? I can talk with Dabi and convince him to let you come with us until the wedding is over-"
"No!" You shook your head frantically. The last time you went away, your father proposed to Keigo. Who knows what that blonde will do this time when you leave. Take away all of your mother's belongings? Kick you out? Make Dabi question your legitimacy?
"I- I already told them I'd be here to help them. Besides, I shouldn't be away from my father on this joyous occasion. Really, I'm happy for him- for them." You wiped your tears away as Enji and Rei looked at you with pity. "I just- I just miss mom a little."
They stayed with you the rest of the night.
-
After the announcement to the family, Dabi had announced of his wedding to his kingdom. The news had gotten mixed reactions, they cheered and congratulated Dabi out of fear, while also throwing pitiful looks your way, hushed whispers about "poor princess Y/n". Good thing was that you spent most of your time in your room, so you didn't have to bear the embarrassment much.
You were standing in Dabi's office. He'd called you, and Keigo was there too. You didn't think it would be possible for them to be more closer and show more disgusting displays of affection, but here they are, shamelessly eating each others faces.
"Y/n! How have you been?" Dabi asked as Keigo got off his lap, giving a quick squeeze to his bum (you wanted to burn your eyes with acid).
"I'm well, thank you." You smiled, trying to contain the contents of your gut. "You asked for me?" Might as well come to the topic before they start doing more...stuff.
"Ah yes. Well, since the wedding is approaching, I wanted to ask if you'd like to be the maid of honour?" He said, shuffling through some papers- invites.
"You want me to be your maid of honor-?"
"Mine? No. I have Natsuo. I was asking if you'd like to be Keigo's, since he has no one to walk him down the aisle, Keigo suggested you. And you two are close, so it seems like a good idea, no?" He said in a tone that made it seem more like an order than a question.
How could he ask you that? Has your father lost his mind? Is he that horny to not give a shit about his own daughter?
You looked at Keigo, who was standing there with a chalice, his golden eyes piercing through you, a satisfied smile on his lips.
Of course, he'd convinced Dabi to suggest something as preposterous as this. Perhaps as a revenge for earlier.
"I think it'd be better if someone else stepped in. Perhaps one of the other concubines?" You offered. You'd much rather eat a bag of nails than let his filthy hands hold yours as you walk down the aisle.
"No, no. Keigo isn't close to any of the concubines. Besides, I think it'd show the rest of the world of our united front. Put all the rumours about conflict among you and Keigo to rest." Dabi said, deciding for you.
"Yes, your Majesty." You said, bowing as you left the room.
-
The next day was rehearsal day. The servants were working hard to decorate evey inch of the castle, making sure to prepare for guests from far and away, perhaps because Keigo told them that this was going to be "the biggest wedding of history."
You were standing in the church with Keigo holding your gloved hand. Just because Dabi said you have to walk him down the aisle, doesn't mean you need to touch him. The gloves were only the smallest barrier.
"Thank you for doing this for me." Keigo said as you both walked down the aisle towards Dabi. Every fiber of your being was screaming to rip yourself away from him.
"Anything for my father." Your lips formed into a tight lipped smile.
Ignoring your comment, Keigo asked you something even more cursed. "Have you thought of how you'd address me now that I'm marrying your father?"
Bitch. Skank. Whore. Pig. Murderer. Ostrich. Ass hat. Pile of shit. Slut-
"I have more important affairs to be concerned about." You said, dismissing the topic, but of course Keigo wouldn't let it go.
"Well, I have and I'd prefer if you'd call me dad or papa. Mama is also fine, but spare me the royal titles. I don't care for them and I don't want you to be formal with me. We're family now." Keigo said as you both reached Dabi who took Keigo's hand from yours, both leaning down to kiss your cheeks.
You wonder if his touch would still linger if you placed a hot iron poker.
You were walking towards your room, when you passed by your mother's. Opening the door, you saw Inko was there as well, going through your mother's closet.
"Princess!" She turned around, bowing to you with a gentle smile. "Look what I've found!" She showed you some dresses, your mother's beloved gowns, her tiaras, her jewellery.
"I was thinking that you could wear them on the wedding!" Inko said, as she pulled out a beautiful baby blue gown with jewels and sakura blossoms embroidered on it. "They should be of your size, bit I'm happy to make a few alterations to it if you'd like!"
You smiled as you tried on the gown, it fit you perfectly. "And if you pair it with this tiara and your mother's favourite ring!" She placed the white princess tiara on your head, along with the turquoise ring that had diamonds around it, with a gold band. "Your father gave it to your mother on their wedding night. Your mother adored this ring so much, she often said the turquoise stone reminded her of your father whenever he went away om wars." Of course it did remind her of Dabi, his eyes had the same colour as the stone.
"I'll wear this." You said as you admired yourself in the mirror, happy at how you resembled your mother. "Will you have them polished for me?" Inko nodded as she took the ring and tiara from you.
At least there's something you could look forward to at this awful wedding.
-
Guests had started arriving two days before the wedding. Few had been invited to stay at this castle, while others had rooms arranged for them at the other castles nearby.
You had insisted on at least letting your friends stay at the castle, but Dabi turned you down, saying something about security concerns. But he allowed them to visit you during the day.
"Katsuki!" You giggled as you hugged the barbarian king, who only lifted you up and twirled you around.
"Stop acting like a buffoon. Set her down, she's a princess, not a cat." Momo chided as she fanned herself. Katsuki only huffed as he set you down.
"Empress Yaoryuzu-" you started bowing but she hit the top of your head with her fan lightly.
"Forgetting how you're supposed to address me?" She asked, raising her brow at you. You sighed before giving a peck on her lips.
"Hey! What the heck that?!" Katsuki asked as he pulled you behind him. You placed a hand on his shoulder to calm him. "Katsuki, it's just a traditional greeting in her land."
"Yes, but I don't expect uncultured barbarians to understand what traditions mean." Momo snickered.
"Alright, that's it-"
"Enough!" You yelled at them. "I have bigger matters to handle than to stop you two from fighting like children. So if you insist on bickering, please do it outside of this palace and on your own time. Do I make myself clear?" You glared at them as they finally nodded.
The "matters" that you need to handle are about you making sure that when Keigo marries Dabi, he doesnt get to sign a contract that states all about Keigo's new powers and "governing" opportunities. You need to make sure that Keigo doesn't get more power than needed, that he doesn't get a superior title to you, the legitimate heir, and that he doesn't get to add a clause or two that would benefit him and harm you.
A familiar servant passed by you, gave you a nod. Of course, you had initially thought of finding ways to stop the wedding altogether, so you had a servant bribe some concubines and knights to flirt with Keigo, if only to arouse rumours and better yet, catch him in a compromising position.
But you knew that with the wedding approaching, Keigo would be more cautious than ever, and it's not like Dabi would take off the veil of love off his eyes to even suspect that Keigo is cheating on him.
You sat in the garden after returning from the office, asking your uncle Shotou if the contract for marriage had been drawn up. He told you no, that its still in the works and should be coming in tomorrow evening, and when he asked why you wanted to know, you'd made some excuse about wanting to see whether your father was going to have new stamps made with Keigo's face in it.
He only chuckled, but both of you knew Dabi wouldn't be above doing such an abomination.
"What're you doing here alone, bub?" Dabi asked as he sat down next to you. "Everyone's inside, waiting for you."
You smiled softly. "Just... needed some air. Nothing to worry about."
Dabi hummed as he gazed ahead at the tree line. "I know everything is happening so fast and is hectic, so I haven't had the time to talk to you but-" He looked at you and smiled with soft eyes. "- I want to tell you how proud I am of you. For being so mature, for handling everything with such grace. I know this news wasn't easy for you, but I am grateful that you have accepted Keigo and have chosen to be a part of my happiness."
Chosen? There was never a choice.
You leaned your head on his shoulder. "Of course, dad. I will always love you."
He kissed your forehead. "And I, you."
-
The next day went by blur, mostly because of the guests and servants running rampant. Momo and Katsuki were in the backyard, away from the party, and you only spared a few glances when they began to duel. You couldn't deal with them right now, not when you had to go and read the marriage contract before Keigo could sign it.
You were on your way when you heard Inko arguing loudly with someone. For a sweet lady like her, it's not normal for her to yell at anyone. So, you went to check out the commotion first.
"THIS IS NOT THE JEWELLERY PIECES I SENT FOR YOU TO POLISH!" Inko said furiously, slamming her hands on the table. You peeked at the man she was yelling at, recognising him as the royal jeweller. "WHERE IS PRINCESS Y/N'S RING?!"
"I- um- they-" the man stumbled over his words as you finally let yourself in.
"Your Majesty!" They both bowed, as you waved them off. "What's the matter Inko? Where's my mother's ring?"
She shot a furious glare to the man, who cowered. "That's what I'm trying to find out."
You stepped forward and looked at the man with a calm smile. "Where's my ring? Did something happen to it? Did you lose it?" You asked and you could only imagine Inko's murderous intent if the man said that he did lose it.
"No, princess- I didn't lose it! The ring- the ring it's with- concubine Keigo!" You face never dropped as fast as it did in that moment.
"What? How is this possible?" You interrogated.
"After- after I took your jewellery from Inko, King Dabi had called me in to display all of the royal family's jewels, including yours! When he left the room, he told concubine Keigo to pick anything he'd like to wear in the wedding ceremony, and- well- he picked the late queen's ring, saying that it'd remind him of the King's eyes." He explained helplessly, but you had already left the room, storming up the stairs to take back your ring.
You didn't even have to go to Keigo's Chambers as you found the concubine standing in the hallway, a drunk blush on his cheeks, and wearing something glimmerd in the dim halls-
Your mother's ring.
"Y/n! I've been looking for you! Come, come to papa!"
All sense of logic and manners went out the window as you stormed towards him and slapped him so hard across the face, that he fell.
Keigo hadn't even begun to recover from the shock of being slapped when you began punching him.
"WHO THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE!?" You screamed. "WAS IT NOT ENOUGH FOR YOU TO KILL MY MOTHER, TAKE HER THRONE, MARRY MY FATHER, THAT YOU HAD TO TAKE HER RING AWAY TOO?! THOSE ARE MY THINGS! THEY BELONG TO ME, YOU FUCKING SLUT!" You shrieked as Keigo tried to dodge your hits without hurting you.
His eyes went wide when you wrapped your hands around his throat and began choking him. "I'm going to fucking kill you! I'm going to end this for once and for all!"
"Y/N!" Someone yelled as they ripped you away from Keigo. "HAVE YOU FUCKING LOST IT!?" It was Dabi.
"YES!" You screamed. "I HAVE LOST IT, JUST LIKE YOU HAVE WHEN YOU DECIDED TO MARRY THAT FUCKING WHORE! IN FACT, I HAVE LOST A WHOLE LOT MORE THAN YOU! I HAVE LOST MY MOTHER BECAUSE YOU BROUGHT IN THAT FUCKING BITCH! I HAVE LOST MY GRANDFATHER BECAUSE YOU WERE BUSY SCREWING AROUND WITH THAT WHORE! I HAVE LOST MY ONLY FRIEND, BECAUSE YOUR MURDEROUS LITTLE SLUT DECIDED THAT I DO NOT DESERVE TO HAVE ANY HAPPINESS! AND I HAVE LOST MY MOTHER'S ONLY LEGACY BECAUSE YOUD MUCH RATHER GIVE IT TO YOUR NEW BED WARMER THAN TO ME!"
"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Dabi yelled, getting dangerously close to your face. "I WILL NOT TOLERATE ANYMORE INSULT AND DISOBEDIENCE FROM YOU! TOMORROW IS OUR WEDDING-"
"FUCK YOUR WEDDING! EVERYONE KNOWS YOURE GOING TO BE MARRYING A MURDERER AND ID MUCH RATHER KILL MYSELF THAN BE A PART OF THAT SHITSHOW!" Dabi went silent at your words, deathly silent. Then... he chuckled as he looked over his shoulder at Keigo who was already shaking his head, as if to stop him before he does something he regrets.
"Its about time she knows, eh?" Dabi said as he laughed.
"Dabi, dont-" Keigo started, but you cut him off. "Know what?" You spat.
Dabi looked at you, and his eyes held a cruel expression.
"Keigo didn't kill your mother. I did."
You couldn't- couldn't process the words that had left his mouth. So, you made him repeat himself.
"What?" You whispered. Dabi knelt down to your level, leaned closer to you so you could look into his eyes and see he wasn't lying.
"I. Killed. Your Mother." He said slowly, as if talking to a child. "I hated your mother, and the only reason I had been putting up with her for so long was because she was taking care of you. But one day, she thought she could threaten me by saying that she was going to leave me. I told her fine, signed the divorce papers and gave them to her. She wasn't expecting it, so she said she was going to take you with her. Now, that was something I couldn't allow. So, your mother decided to try to hurt me by poisoning you. When I found her plans, I confronted her and told her to either drink that same poison she bad for you or she was to leave tomorrow morning and never see any of us again. She instead chose to kill herself because she believed it'd be far more of a dishonour to return to her home as a divorcee and without child."
Tears slipped down your face. "N-No, you're lying. I saw Keigo-"
"Keigo tried to save her, but I told him no. I made him stop. The very thought of harming you was punishable. She deserved to die, and I had no sympathy for her when she dropped dead in front of me. I even had the antidote, but I chose to watch her die." Dabi said coldly. "All this time, Keigo had been covering up for me. He didn't say a word when rumors started, knly because he didn't want to have people see me as a murderer. He adored you, he's taken care of you, has quietly taken every insult you've ever thrown his way. And this is how you repay him?"
"Only Keigo and I have truly ever loved you. Your own mother wanted to kill you for her own selfish gains." Dabi said harshly as your world finally collapsed around you.
You couldn't say anything, do anything as you tried to make sense of his words, tried to find a way to that would tell you that he's lying. But you couldn't.
"GUARDS!" Dabi called. "Lock the princess in the hightower. Tie her to her bed, make sure she doesn't hurt herself or escape." He said before helping Keigo up. You couldn't protest as the guards dragged you to the hightower, didn't move a muscle as they tied you to your bed. All you could do was look up at the ceiling and cry mutely.
All these years, all this time, you'd been blaming Keigo, when everything that has ever happened to you was your beloved father's fault. The man you loved, the man you looked up to, the man you cherished... he had been the one who killed your mother?
The more you thought over his confession, the more you felt yourself age. By morning, you didn't have energy to even breathe.
The doors opened, you continued to look up at the wall, tears brimming your eyes.
Dabi walked in, and you didn't need to see his face to know he was still mad at you. No, the anger was practically radiating off him.
"You are to get ready and smile as you walk Keigo down the aisle. If you do something stupid, I will have your friends hunted down and killed. Do I make myself clear?" He didn't wait for an answer.
-
"Princess, please, at least eat something." Inko said pushing the slice of bread to your lips, but you didn't part them. Simply looking ahead in the mirror with a blank stare as the maids did your hair and makeup. "Izuku, she hasn't said a word since morning! I'm getting worried."
Izuku nodded and signalled the maids to leave. He turned your head towards to him and smiled warmly at you. "Y/n... princess, what's the matter? Tell me, so I can fix it, hm?"
Some things can never be fixed.
You didn't say anything, only looking at him with that hundred yard stare, and Izuku couldn't help but feel a little spooked.
He helped you walk towards the church where Keigo was already waiting for you. He was dressed in a white fitted gown that was sleeveless and backless, and had a fishtail. The dress itself had body chains made of gold and Ruby and sapphires sewed in an intricate pattern. And his veil? He didn't opt to wear one.
He looked at you and smiled kindly, although you couldn't really tell the difference at this point. "You look beautiful, Y/n." He held out his arm for you. "Ready to walk me down?"
You didn't have the energy or want to link your arm with his. Inko had to help you place your arm around his.
The doors to the church opened and the choir began singing hymns. The guests turned to look at you and Keigo, who was beaming as he looked at the end of the aisle where Dabi stood, a satisfied smile on his own face.
Your body felt weak, too weak and... different. You were dragging your steps, which fortunately no one could tell since they were hidden under your gown. At some point, it felt more like Keigo was walking you than you were walking him.
You weren't smiling at all. No, you still had the blank stare on your face, which luckily few people noticed since everyone was focused on Keigo.
"What's wrong with her?" Momo whispered to Katsuki as they saw your face. "Why does she look so... disturbed?"
"She must've seen your face." Katsuki remarked, although truth be told, he was also very concerned. Something felt off. Very off.
When you reached the end of the aisle, Dabi took Keigo's from you, and as rehearsed, they both kissed your cheek, but not before Dabi whispered-
"You forgot to smile. Behave."
Shotou guided you towards your seat in the front row, where you were sat next to your grandparents.
The officiant began the ceremony, but you couldn't pay attention to his words. All you could focus was on the turquoise ring on Keigo's hand.
"Y/n, are you alright?" Rei asked, a frown on her face. You didn't reply, opting to look at your father now.
Your father, your dad, the man you trusted more than anyone, the man who murdered your mother, who had murdered Tomura, who had murdered AFO, who had-
You couldn't breathe, you felt too warm, too hot, everything was burning inside you.
"You may now kiss the groom!" They locked lips, only breaking apart when someone screamed.
It took you a few seconds to realise that it was you who was screaming, only because-
Your hand was on fire.
By the time Dabi or anyone else reached you, your entire body had been engulfed in wild blue flames. Flames that were so hot and out of control, that neither Dabi or Enji or even Shotou could control them. Rei tried to use her ice, but it evaporated before it even came within 6 feet of you. The flames began spreading, making the guests panic and leave the church.
Shotou was the first one to piece it together. "Its her quirk!" Immeadiately, Enji and Dabi began giving you commands on how to control it, to calm yourself, to listen!
Dabi even tried to approach you, maybe if he were to touch you, you'd listen. But your fire was too hot, and you backed away anytime they tried to come closer, only screaming in agony as you burned yourself.
After 5 minutes, only when you fainted from pain and exhaustion did the flames stop. Your body... the aftermath made it beyond recognisable. Parts of your limbs were burned so badly, you could see the bone, while the rest of your skin had charred and burned well enough to know that no nerves will be working there.
Despite everything, you were still somehow miraculously breathing... barely. Dabi couldn't believe the nightmare he'd just witnessed, but his disbelief could wait as he gathered you in his arms and yelled at Shotou to get a doctor.
Everyone left the church, except for Keigo. He had dropped to his knees and was trying to wrap his around the horrible sight he'd seen. Be was trying to compose himself, trying to lie to himself that this... this was not his fault.
He knew he was wrong.
-
Dabi couldn't peel his eyes away from you, he needed to make sure that your chest rose and fell evenly. The moment it stopped- it wouldn't- but if it did, he needed to be there to resuscitate you.
Emperor Kai was fortunately right outside the church, waiting to be of assistance. It was a good thing he was from the land of healers, he was able to stabilise you.
While Dabi kept his eyes on your burned form, Kai opted to talk with Shotou. "It was her own quirk that brought out those flames, seemingly she got the dominant Todoroki quirk." He commented, glancing your way. "What she didn't inherit was the skin resistance to bare those very flames. She burned herself quite badly, and it doesn't help that the smoke from her own burning has damaged her lungs as well. She's still in a critical condition, I've done all I can. All we can do is wait and watch to see if her body can heal itself."
He also explained to Shotou that since its very rare to get a quirk at your age, that's why you couldn't control it. Kai reasoned that the reason your quirk did develop at that moment was probably because you were under some stress, maybe something had tipped you over emotionally, making your quirk appear so fiercely and harshly.
"Like an outlet, when we cry when we breakdown. She burned herself to release that stress." Kai explained.
Shotulou had walked him out of the room, only after ensuring that no one else was around did he ask that question.
"Her chances of survival... what are they?"
Kai's blank stare didn't give away the type of news he'd give. "Anything is possible, but it all depends on her body's ability to heal itself, her willpower to live. Medically speaking, I've done everything I can. Now, only she can save herself."
Can you save yourself, Y/n?

Keigo Takami~Hawks
Pfft, the mans literally never has time for you, like- ever.
He’s working 24/7 so whenever he’s in the area he’s(quite literally) swoop by and give you a kiss or something then dip.
He also has to cut dates or dinner together short for work, or just make it quick. Quickies very common
The whole feather thing is very much real, it helps him keep tabs on you while giving him a way to let you know he loves you when he’s busy.
Often times he comes home to you asleep on the couch waiting for him, and he feels something stirring in him he pushed down a long time ago: Attachment.
If he comes home and he really needs to work one out of him then he’ll ask you can he use you then carry you off and thigh fuck you, but if he’s feeling frisky he’ll stick himself inside you and just feel you clench for that added bonus.
Commitment scares him, but you’re patient with him and he appreciates it. It show when he finally falls asleep around you.
When days get rough for him, you can tell. His clothes and hair are more disheveled than usual, his feathers are spread out, and he has to remind himself not to hiss when you come close(bird shit).
You insist he talk to you but he denies since he always feels he’s being watched and judged. Then you insist he takes it out on you and he refuses even harder, he’s stressed and doesn’t know how to unwind
Then you go for the wings and he will either: dodge you and scold you for trying orrrrrr. . .
Fucking snap on you and rock your shit.
“Oh, now your playing with fire, little birdie. Touching my wings is bold, now don’t regret it. You’ve ruffled my feathers and riled me up.“
Touya Todoroki~Dabi
MEAN, MEAN AS HEELL. HE GIVES ABSOLUTELY NO FUCKS FOR YOU!
Toxic relationship built only on sex and a power complex.
He gives no fucks for you but let him catch you even looking at someone the wrong way and he’d burn the fuck out of you both. Then push you out his way so he can burn the fucker fully to a crisp.
Not gentle burns fucking third degree you need a hospital burns. Also he wouldn’t apologize.
Yandere? Fuck no, he doesn’t care that much.
He’d watch you writhe in pain with tears in your eyes and enjoy it. Then snatch you up immediately and drag you back to the base to fuck your brains out.
Why are you dating him? He loves degrading you, pride? None of that here. You are his to use, break, and throw away as he pleases.
He owns you in his eyes, and if you run your fucked when he finds you
Very much breaking down in front of you but don’t touch him, don’t try to help because again: he will cremate you in a second without hesitation.
He likes to see the fear in your eyes, it lets him know he has power over you.
Big Hunter vibes from him, please do run. He likes the games. He’ll chase you down a dark alley way and take you against the wall once you hit the dead end.
The fucking snarls and growls of this mans, dear lord.
He’ll fuck you literally anywhere, the more populated the better. Try being blindfolded and set on a stage in a club full of villains and have him dick you down for all of them to see. He’s fucked you in front of the League on several occasions.
Your so far mind-broken and gone you won’t leave even if you could. Not that he’d let you walk out, you’re his only form of stress relief. Saves him the time of finding 1 night stands then burning them afterwards.
“You wanna leave, huh cocksleeve? Go ahead, I won’t stop you all you have to do is get off of my cock first. You won’t? Then quit whining and let me break you.“
Kai Chisaki~Overhaul
HE TOXIC TOO JUST LIKE DABI
Overhaul is also super busy like Hawks but you spend a certain amount of time with him since he has his schedule specifically planned out.
You live in the base but he doesn't let you nor want you as a part of the whole Eri thing or any of his work. You are not his equal or lover.
You’re less of a partner and more as a stress reliever, you're like a concubine basically.
He has you take a disinfecting bath before he sees you just to make sure he doesn’t get sick.
Your routine is very strict and you’re guarded, rarely ever changes unless you request it or there’s an emergency.
He's really fucking mean to you and uses his quirk on you to keep you in line, he'll break you and fix you just like he does Eri just to discipline you.
He also fucks you very brutally, like just for no reason fucks you hard. Everyone just let’s it go because better you than them.
The only time other members are nice to you is when they’ve fucked up and you need to either take the blame for them or ease Kai’s anger so they don’t end up dead afterwards.
Your knocked out after every session just because he's very rough with you and doesn't care, and if you don't preform to his standards he'll break you and put you back together.
He has a bad habit of fixing you just to keep going as well.
You’re a kept woman of the Yakuza, so pretty much whatever you want is given to you on a silver plater.
You are not his first lover, and you more than likely won’t be the last.
You clean up afterwards as well. Even more so if it’s in his office.
“What’s wrong? Can’t take another round? That’s alright, I’ll just fix you up good as new and keep going. You know better than to complain, right? Good pet.“
Taishiro Toyomitsu~Fatgum
He’s a good boy, he brings you food all the time and let’s you know when he’s doing something dangerous.
Whatever you wanna eat, name it and he’s got it. Has all the popular food joints on speed dial and gets discounts literally everywhere.
He loves it when you snuggle into his hugs, but he gets worried he may accidentally lose you in his fat you would love this actually
He has no problem fucking you when he’s not patrolling, no one visits the agency often so you two have his entire office to yourselves.
This man is into food play, no surprise there. Eating off you, yes. You eating off him, yes. Food with sex, yes indeed.
The biggest cuddlebug on the planet, he’s so used to being unattractive by most standards that once you two started dating he was so touch-starved he wanted to hug you ALL THE TIME
He’s not-so-surprisingly a good combat teacher.
He’s very vanilla and gentle, he doesn’t want to hurt you but he’s a BIG BOY so no need for the extras to make it super spicy.
All giggles, you guys have tried BDSM before, it doesn’t work he’s too goofy.
The agreed safeword is. . . . meatpie. Yes. He’ll back off and you’ll be laughing to yourself about it just enough to relax once more while he gets ready to praise you like a goddess.
Butterball, butterbean, and love muffin are his go-tos for nicknames. Though when your wearing that outfit he loves so much he has a habit of calling you “Devil’s food cake”, making him want to sin in all the sweetest ways possible.
Into Cock-warming, a lot. Not to mention teasing him will result in a harsher than usual upward thrust from his hips, he’s a bucking mess.
Body positivity king, there is not a day that goes by where he does not praise your figure for hours on end.
Literally fought someone one time because they objectified you and then had the audacity to say you weren't a whole fucking snack in front of him.
Kinkiest thing he’s done: Used you as a human fleshlight, it was only once but secretly neither of you can get rid of the thought.
THE DILF VIBES FROM HIM. Everyone says Kiri and Tamaki are his hero-children, you see it. It’s lowkey highkey attractive adorable.
OH THE AFTERCARE. I’m talking fresh warm baths with your favorite scents, massages for your whole body, and food. Endless amounts of food, cuddles, and praise.
“My little butterball, you look so good. I’m gonna push all the way in now, okay? Heh, no butterbean, I’m just halfway in your little hole. You know the safeword, just say the word if it’s too much.“

Enjoy!
You rode on a horse besides your grandfather- King AFO. Tomura and your entourage were following behind with the King's knights. The island was full of cherry blossom trees, and after a 15 minute ride, you finally saw your mother's home.
The marble castle standing in between the two mountains, was huge and had a combination of Greek and Japanese architecture. The island didn't look big or even populated when you first saw it, but now that you'd crossed the cherry blossoms, you felt like you'd entered a secret haven. The kingdom was surrounded by nature and stretched as far as you could look, and it was bustling with life all around, despite it being just an hour after sunrise.
AFO only smiled as you looked around in awe. He couldn't stop staring at you every now and then. You just looked so much like her- like his daughter.
He nudged your shoulder and winked. "Come on darling, let's go home." He began trotting ahead of you.
"My King!" One of the people cheered when he spotted AFO and immediately, all the people fell into a bow. You were amazed at how happily they showed submission. With your father, people always bowed out of fear. Dabi wasn't a bad king per say, but when he got angry, he wreacked havoc upon everyone. No one would be spared.
AFO waved a hand and the people stood up, heads still down. A couple of them saw someone new had arrived, and so they decided to steal a glimpse. After all, they didn't get many visitors here.
But those who looked at you, gasped audibly, making the others look at where they were looking. And then they understood the shock.
"P-princess M/n (Mom's Name)?" One of them whispered, making AFO halt in his place and look back at you. Perhaps it was the way the sun was hitting your face, or the soft smile you'd inherited from your mother, but AFO swears he saw his daughter for a second.
He closed his eyes and composed himself. No, she's dead.
"No." AFO said, turning his horse back around. He saw the hope shatter in their eyes.
AFO got off his horse and walked over to yours before helping you down as well. He took your hand and pulled you in front of the crowd. "This is her daughter, and my granddaughter- Princess Y/n."
The people were too stunned, and it was dead silent for a few seconds. But then one by one, they broke into tears.
You looked at AFO nervously. "W-what is happening?" You whispered to him.
"They're happy."
"They're happy? Doesn't look like it."
He chuckled. "They haven't seen you in so long and didn't expect to. So now they're crying tears of joy."
One of the women stepped ahead and looked at AFO. "M-my King, may we?"
May we what?
AFO nodded.
The lady then looked at you with a longing look before bending down to grab the bottom of your dress, lifting it a bit and then kissing the end of the cloth.
"What-" you looked at AFO, but he only gave you a look to "bear it". One by one, the people began lining up to kiss the bottom of your dress, some paying you compliments and others saying how much you looked like your mother.
After a few minutes, AFO raised his hand and the crowd stopped. "The Princess has traveled a long way, she must rest now. But do not fret, she will be staying with us. I hope that you treat her well." And the crowd cheered and waved as you and AFO got back on your horses.
You began riding towards the castle with your grandfather. "Why were they kissing my dress?"
"They were paying their respects. They would've preferred to hug you, but I didn't want them to spook you." He raised a brow at you. "Dont people do this at your father's kingdom?"
You shook your head. "No, dad forbids even interacting with the common folks. Says its too dangerous to let them come near."
AFO scoffed. "Its only dangerous if the people don't like their ruler. You don't have to worry about that here, Y/n. People know we are royalty, but they love us. They'll never harm you."
"So what? I can roam around without knights?" You joked.
But he nodded. "Of course. My people are very kind. They'd probably invite you in for tea."
You reached the castle, where more servants and royal staff were waiting to welcome you. At the front, a tall man with dark clouds instead of a solid body stood.
They all bowed as you and AFO got off your horses. "Your Majesty, Princess Y/n. Welcome home." The shadowy figure said. You were surprised he knew who you were.
"This is Kurogiri, my advisor." Your grandfather introduced him. So, thats why he knew who you were.
"Its very nice to meet you." You said with a small courtesy.
"The pleasure is all mine, princess." Kurogiri bowed his head.
"Come." AFO said before leading you inside, Kurogiri behind you with Tomura. He showed you around the castle, and you saw many paintings of your mother there, but the one in the hallway particularly stood out.
It was of your mother holding baby you in her arms and AFO standing proudly besides you both. Your mother was beaming while you had sported a cheeky grin as well.
You touched the painting, completely mesmerised. "It was your first visit here. Your mother didn't tell your father that she was visiting me because he made her cut all contact with me. But your mother, she was smart. She went to the Todoroki Kingdom and then sneaked off here for a couple of days." Your grandpa said. "The people were so happy to see their princess again after such a long time. But they all cheered when they saw they had a new princess- you." He began walking ahead. You followed AFO as he continued his story. "The Kingdom celebrated all week long at the news of your arrival. They prayed for hours, gave thanks to their gods, sent gifts to the palace, and partied all week." He smiled at the memory before looking solemn. "Your mother had to return to Dabi again. That was the last time my kingdom was happy."
You looked down. "I'm sorry." You felt like you should apologise for your father's behaviour.
AFO cupped your cheek. "Dont be, darling. It wasn't your fault. Besides-" He grinned. "-there will be another celebration now. After all, it is expected now that you've returned!"
"I- okay?" AFO showed you your mother's room, which had been preserved in its original state. He'd allowed you to go through her stuff and even encouraged you to use it. You were grateful, because now you felt like you could know much more about your mother.
"I had Kurogiri prepare a room for you as well. Why don't you rest for now, and we can catch up on dinner tonight." AFO said, grabbing hour hands in his. "Whatever you need, you can ask Kurogiri for it. But I hope you know that you can always come to me for anything."
You nodded, smiling as he kissed your forehead.
You walked into your room with Tomura following behind, bringing in the little belongings of yours he'd managed to. You sat on the bed and watched as Tomura began putting your clothes in the closet. He never allowed other people to touch your stuff, always putting away your things by himself.
"Tomura?" He turned back to you.
"Yes, princess?"
"What... do you think?"
"Of?"
"Everything? Of all of this?" You were referring to the situation.
Tomura hummed before walking towards you. "I think it would be good for you and King Dabi. You'd get to bond with your maternal grandfather and spend some time in the home the late Queen grew you up in. And King Dabi would realise how much he misses you."
"And what do you think of King AFO?"
Tomura bent down and began pulling of your shoes and socks. He pulled out a handkerchief and wiped your feet before massaging them with his gloved hands. "King AFO loves you very much. He is trustworthy and from what I've gathered so far, he's very protective of you. Perhaps it's because you're his daughter's only child, or that you resemble your mother very much, but one thing is for sure- King AFO would never harm you and..."
You quirked an eyebrow. "And?"
Tomura bit his lip. "And... if you were to stand up against concubine Keigo or your father, I have no doubt that King AFO would support you. All the ways."
You hummed, understanding why Tomura hesitated to say something like that. It could count as traitorous if someone were to hear it. But you knew Tomura only had your best interests in mind. "Yes. I have sensed that grandpa isn't... the biggest fan of dad." You sighed. "Which reminds me, I need to write a letter."
"I'd recommend you rest for now and write the letter when you wake up. You'd be in a much better state of mind." Tomura suggested, already lifting your feet onto the bed, making you sink into the soft mattress. He tucked you under the covers, smiling as you snuggled into the pillow.
"I guess a nap won't do much harm."
-
-
You woke up 5 hours later to Tomura pulling in a rack of dresses.
"Tomu?" You rubbed your eyes sleepily as he bowed. "What are you doing?"
"These are the late queen's clothes, princess. King AFO said that he's called a seamstress tomorrow, but you're welcome to wear one of these." That woke you up instantly.
You got off the bed and practically ran towards the dresses, carefully touching it, almost like you were afraid that it would crumble in your hands.
"I- I don't know..." you were hesitant. Should you wear them? Would it be disrespectful to your mother? You knew you were nowhere as beautiful or as graceful as she was, and so, you didn't feel like you deserved her clothes, not until you were at least as resilient as her.
Tomura however, could read you like an open book. He knew of your doubts. "Do you remember how the queen liked to play dress up with you when you were young?" You nodded. "Of course, it's one of my fondest memories of her."
"Then perhaps you should play a little dress up again today. To honour her memory." He pulled out a dress, inspecting it from top to bottom. "It is your choice to wear whatever you'd like princess, but I know for a fact that your mother would've wanted nothing more than to see you in her clothes. And I know that King AFO would be very happy if you were to wear one of these tonight."
You looked at Tomura, with a soft look, 'Really?'. He gave you a reassuring look, that made you giggle and take the dress from his hands excitedly. The two of you didn't need words to talk.
Tomura snapped his fingers and a maid came in, ready to take you to the bath he'd prepared for you.
"Dont go anywhere, okay?"You said before leaving hurriedly.
Tomura only sighed before sitting on the sofa in the corner. Guess he has to sit and watch you model all these clothes.
Not that he minded. He's gonna dress you up in so many layers and heavy jewels so that you're too tired for your shenanigans and he doesn't have run after you all over the palace.
-
-
Tomura was right. Your grandfather did appreciate you dressing up in your mom's clothes. The maids had done your hair exactly like your mother's, and Kurogiri was kind enough to bring one of her diamond tiaras and her sapphire heart necklace. As you left to join your grandpa in the dining room, you could hear a few servants and knights staring and whispering how much you resembled your mother. Even you couldn't deny the resemblance when you saw yourself in the mirror.
After the delicious dinner, AFO took you to the courtyard for a walk.
"The dinner was lovely, thank you your Highness."
AFO patted your head. "I'm glad you liked it. And please, I'm your grandpa now." You giggled. "I wanted to discuss a few things with you, Y/n." You both reached a bench.
He motioned for you to sit with him on the bench. "As you know, your arrival has rejoiced the kingdom. Therefore, I'd like to officially announce your return. Its not anything big, just a gathering- a dinner much like tonight with guests."
"Oh. I guess that sounds nice."
AFO nodded. "It will be. The subjects are very eager to meet you, which is why if you'd like, you can explore the island."
You looked surprised. "I can explore? Its not dangerous?"
"No, of course not. People are friendly here. But you're free to take as many knights as you want to. In fact, I have a particularly special knight for you. Come along."
-
Your grandpa had brought you down to the dungeons, and you were getting a little spooked by the second as you walked down the damp and dark hall. Finally, he stopped at a cell. He nodded at the knight to light it up and thats when you saw it.
A creature that was almost 8 ft tall, and with weird eyes and its brain exposed, and all buffed up.
"I- what is that?" You were completely bewildered.
"Its a Nomu. People call it a monster, a hybrid, a mutation. Your mother called him a gentle giant." He laughed. You looked at the king, then at the Nomu, then back at him. "Mom knew this creature?"
"Knew him? She practically grew up with him! She always had a fascination with exotic animals, but the day she brought him home, it was truly something else." AFO chuckled, remembering the his 10 year old daughter had brought this thing home, scaring half the kingdom. "Either some ambassador gave it to her, or she found it herself on the island. I really cant remember. But she was attached to the darn thing, only leaving it behind after she got married."
"Then?"
"Then we kept Nomu in the dungeons so that he didn't scare away people- he isnt exactly easy on the eyes, no? I think the last time he saw your mother was when you were born."
"Right."
AFO cleared his throat. "Anyways, raise your hand up and towards it- no, don't be afraid. I wont let anything happen to you." You did as told and the Nomu came forward and sniffed your hand cautiously, before giving it a lick. AFO clapped his hand. "There! It recognised you!"
"Recognised me?"
"Yeah, from when you were a baby. He might've licked you then, or perhaps he recognises you are your mother's offspring. Either way, he's your knight now. He'll follow you around and do whatever you want him to, keep you safe from everyone and everything." AFO patted the Nomu on the head before leaving. "You two can get more familiar in the morning. Its getting late now. I'll walk you to your room."
You both began walking back up and you remembered you needed to ask him something. "Oh, I was wondering if I could get some paper and ink."
"Of course. Writing a letter?"
"Yes, to some friends. I don't need them to worry themselves sick. And don't worry, I'll make sure not to mention where I am."
AFO smiled. "Good girl. Well, I'll have Kurogiri give you some writing tools right away."
"Thank you."
True to his word, Kurogiri came later to give you the stuff you'd asked for. "After you're done writing, you can either fetch me or have Tomura bring your letters to me. I'll post them myself."
"Oh you don't need to trouble yourself! Tomura will do it."
Kurogiri shook his head. "I'm afraid he cant, princess. No one really gets off this island because they... they don't like other kingdoms."
You furrowed your brows. "Oh. Why?"
"Well, ever since... they found out of King Dabi's ill treatment towards your mother, King AFO had decided to wage war. He'd asked for other countries and empires to support him, but they didn't. King AFO and his people all felt betrayed because their allies didnt support them, or even condemned King Dabi's behaviour. So... the people decided to cut off ties with the rest of the world and stay here on the island." Kurogiri explained. "I'm sorry, princess. I didn't mean to turn you against your father with my words-"
"Its okay. I understand. But if no one leaves the island, then how will you send my letters?" You inquired.
"Because of my quirk- teleportation. I'm the only who gets off this island, and that too for a short while."
You hummed. "I see. Okay, I will send Tomura to you with my letters."
-
-
You woke up the next day feeling relatively refreshed. The first thing you did was write down letters to your dad, your grandparents Emperor Kai, Katsuki and Momo, informing that you're well and good, but telling them that you'll need some time away from home until you can clear your head. You told them not to look for you, and that you'll come back on your own when you're ready.
To Dabi, you apologised for leaving out of the blue, but knew he wouldn't let you go if you had told him. You wrote that you think some time apart will do you both good, however if he is angry at you for running away, you will not return home until he isn't furious at you.
To your grandparents, you reassured them that you were well and healthy. And that when you return, you'll spend a whole week at their castle.
To Emperor Kai, you thanked him for his continous support and that you'll be visiting his empire soon, although he will have to make sure not to let anyone know you were coming.
To Bakugo and Momo, you told them you were doing alright and to not freak out and cause panic among themselves. You told them to stay put, and that when you return, you'll have a tea party (with Momo) and bonfire (with Katsuki), have a sleepover and catch them up on everything.
You gave the letters to Tomura after putting on your royal seal, then got ready for breakfast.
After eating a scrumptious meal, you asked King AFO if you could roam around the island with Nomu. He agreed, telling you to return before the sun sets.
You told Tomura to come along, but he said he needed to meet with the seamstress today, needed to give her your measurements and designs. He reassured you that the Nomu will protect you, not that you needed to worry about the people hurting you.
-
-
You two had been walking in silence, the Nomu staying a step behind you. Just before you left the castle gates, you looked at it.
"Can you talk?" You took his silence as an answer.
"Okay. Do you understand what I'm saying?" The Nomu simply stared at you. Grandpa AFO did say it'd follow your commands, so maybe you should put that to a test.
"Raise your right arm." It did. "Raise your left leg. Now hop- wait!" You almost fell from the vibration when he landed back on the ground. "Okay, okay. That's enough. Let's go." You stepped outside the palace grounds, and began walking into town.
As soon as you'd stepped into town, people instantly took notice of you. They all gave you bows and greetings, all while staring at you in awe, which made you flustered and your ears turned pink. This felt like the first day of princess play date all over again. You still remember the day fondly. Dabi had arranged a play date for you with other princesses from around the world, but you felt too shy to interact with anyone and ended up playing by yourself in the corner with your pet tiger cub. Eventually though, it was Momo who came over to you, took your hand and forced you to join her tea party (where she allowed no one else to join). And that was the start of a beautiful and super weird friendship.
You decided to raise your head because all your years of princess training drilled it into you to never lower your head unless in front of someone superior than you (by royal hierarchy). You entered the bustling market, hoping to find some souvenirs for your family and friends.
You ignored the stares and whispers of the people, giving small smiles to acknowledge their greetings and bows, your eyes scanning the trinkets.
"Princess Y/n?" You looked up at the shopkeeper, who was an old lady with a mean look on her face.
"Yes?" You asked softly.
"Does King Dabi know where you are?" Oh shit. This is it, this is how you're gonna get killed. All these people must hate your dad for how he behaved with your mother.
"He does not." You answered, eyes narrowing to impose dominance and not look weak.
"Why? He too busy sleeping around to know where you are? God knows how his kingdom must be doing in the hands of such a man." One of the merchants asked, making others laugh as well. Had you been home, this man would've been punished for mocking the king. However, this was AFO's island, and you knew your father had no respect or held any fear over these people.
"Yes." You answered curtly, making everyone stop laughing. "He is sleeping with his favourite concubine, however thats not the reason why he isnt looking for me. He has a kingdom to run, duty to his people." You pulled out a your small pouch that was filled with gold coins to the brim, dropping it in front of them. "This is the minimum wage a person makes in our kingdom annually. Judging by the shock on your faces, this is the most money any of you have ever seen." You had been observing these people from the moment you'd entered the market, and you hadnt seen a single person holding a gold coin- all currency was mostly in bronze and silver. "Our economy is stronger than yours, our trading is more than yours, our kingdom is superior to yours in many ways. And all because of King Dabi." You spoke the truth and you could see the revelation on their faces. The little princess is not just a pretty little girl to push around.
You clasped your hands and rolled your shoulders back, exuding arrogance and influence. "You may not like my father for how he treated my mother, but I will not let you insult his leadership skills when you havent even left this island for the last decade."
The crowd that was once bustling had now been silenced the little princess who they thought was nothing more than a pretty face. Clearly, they were wrong. And they were do happy that they were.
You gave a small courtesy before turning around to leave, completely freaking out on the inside and praying that these people won't put your head on a spike. After all, you did just called their kingdom poor and inferior to yours. But you couldn't have allowed them to disrespect your father as a king, and it would've been disastrous if the daughter and the only heir of the kingdom allowed it.
"Princess!" Shit. Fuck. You turned around, narrowing your eyes to disguise your fear with ego. A tall, buff man stood out. He had a scar on his eye, and his tanned body also had signs of marks from previous battles.
He began walking menacingly towards you, and you felt the Nomu tense up behind you, ready to pounce.
"You think you can just walk down here and tell us that your kingdom has a better economy than ours?" He snarled, standing right in front of you. He towered well above you. He's probably gonna crush my head with his bare hands.
"Well, that might be true, but you can't possibly say that your bread is better than ours!"
What?
You're still processing the last statement when the man shoves a loaf of bread in your face.
"Taste it!"
You looked at him, trying to see if this is a joke but the man was dead serious. So, you broke of a piece and tried it.
"Oh my." Your eyes widened. The flavours were bursting in your mouth- wait- "is this... vanilla?! And the crunch- almonds?"
The buff man gleamed and nodded. "Roasted almonds. Its one of my best sellers, right after curry buns!"
You clasped your hands. "Well, you're right about your bread being better than ours. But you certainly can't have better curry buns than ours. Or cakes. Or tea-"
Several people shouted in protest before pulling you along to their respective shops and houses to prove you wrong.
And just like that, you had befriended the entire island.
-
-
While you were having a jolly time in the town, Tomura felt like he was gonna burst a vessel with how incompetent these servants were. He just had to chase after them and pester them to do their tasks, and he didn't even bother letting them handle any of your chores because he knew they'd mess it up.
He was polishing one of your tiaras when AFO walked in. "Ah, I knew I'd find you here." AFO chuckled. "There is something I need to talk to you about."
AFO played with your jewels. fiddling them around in his eyes. "I want to host a welcome home party for Y/n, and I want you to see to it that everything is perfect. Kurogiri will help you with whatever you need, and I want it to be on Sunday."
4 days to prepare? Why is he in a rush? Tomura wondered.
"Of course, my king. And may I ask for a theme?"
"Well, I want this to be a surprise, but I suppose I should tell you to make the necessary arrangements." AFO's lips curled up.
"Make arrangements for the princess's coronation."
-
-
As soon as you had returned to the castle, you began rambling to Tomura about the people.
"They were so nice, Tomu! They all welcomed me into their homes, REFUSED to take my money and they make such good cakes, Tomura-Oh my god! You have to try one! Here!" You tried to shove a slice into his mouth, but he caught your wrists. "Later, princess. I'm a little busy right now."
You pouted. "Why? What are you doing?"
"I don't think I'm supposed to tell you this, but I want you to be prepared." Tomura confessed. "King AFO has asked me to plan your coronation."
"Coronation? For here? For this kingdom?" Tomura nodded. "But- But I cant do that, Tomura! I can't be the ruler to this kingdom! Dad will not allow it!" You cried.
"Hey, hey. Its okay. You're not gonna be the ruler to this kingdom. Coronation just means that you're the next in line for throne, the one to inherit this kingdom when King AFO passes away. Which isn't gonna happen anytime soon because he's in good health."
You shook your head. "But still Tomura- I can't, I can't accept this- the people won't accept me! I mean, it's just been a day since I've arrived! Why on earth would they accept Grandpa announcing that he's gonna leave me in charge when he's not around anymore?!"
"The people trust their king to make the best decision, and King AFO believes that you'd make an exceptional ruler. He believes you deserve his throne."
"But I don't, Tomura." You replied softly, eyes getting glossy. "I don't deserve his throne. I'm not strong like Dad or resilient like mom. Does he- does he even know that I don't have a quirk?"
"I havent mentioned it, and His Majesty hasnt brought up either so i cant say for sure. Maybe he has a suspicion, maybe not. But if having only quirks would make you a strong ruler, then it would've been me as the royal and you as my servant."
You smiled at his words. Tomura would've made a good princess.
Tomura's shrugged his shoulders. "If you don't want to be coronated, you're gonna have to talk to the king. However, let me just say this- you're all the King has left, his only blood relative. This kingdom should've gone to your mother, but since she's in heaven now, the kingdom falls on your shoulders. King Dabi would never accept this kingdom or its people, you know that." Tomura grabbed your shoulders. "You are King AFO's only hope left. You're the only one he can trust to leave his empire to that he worked all his life for."
You furrowed your brows at the truth bomb Tomura had left you with. "I don't mean to pressure you into accepting, princess. But you should be aware of all the facts before you make a decision."
You didn't sleep a wink that night as you thought about his words. You know your dad won't accept you being coronated for your mother's homeland, but your grandpa... he deserves this much peace of mind that his people will be cared for when he's dead.
Even though it isn't your fault, you do feel guilty for your father's cruelness to your mother and your grandpa. Perhaps if you weren't born, your father would've divorced your mother and she would've lived (happily ever after) in her beautiful kingdom, surrounded by people who love her.
Deep down, you know you don't need to be coronated, you don't even want it. But you do feel like you owe your grandfather this much.
Besides, there isn't any harm in accepting. It's not like you're immediately going to have to rule.
-
-
While you were having a good time with your grandpa, your family and friends were miserable.
Enji and Rei felt like they were responsible for your disappearance, that perhaps they should've convinced you stayed longer instead of rushing back home.
Enji had called in every favour he had and then some to find you, but it was like you had vanished into thin air.
Rei's sobs often echoed through the castle, the servants not being able to do much other than crying along with their queen, for they all had accepted the grim reality.
Your friends, Bakugo and Momo were pulling their hair out the longer you were away from them. They were using all of their resources to find you, even teaming up despite not trusting each other.
Momo grew more irritable by the moment, her hand itching to hurt someone when she couldn't find you. She knew she should've sunk her nails into you and not let go when she had the chance. Once she finds where you're hiding, she's gonna lock you away in her room forever.
Katsuki was behaving like a romantic hero as he searched high and low for you, using all his contacts to find his princess. And when he does, he's gonna propose and he won't take no for an answer.
When Emperor Kai had heard of the shipwreck, he pretended to be sad but he wasn't because he knew you were gonna come to him and seek asylum in his empire. That was the plan- Tomura was gonna bring you to his empire. But then you didn't come on the day you were supposed to. Or the next. Or later.
Kai didn't know what to believe. Had you changed your mind about coming to him? Or did you actually die-
No. It can't be.
Kai can't handle losing you again. He can't risk losing another daughter.
As for your father and his whore, they were in a... bad place. The whole kingdom was actually.
Devasted by your absence, Keigo became volatile, lashing out at anyone and everyone. He suspected everyone of kidnapping you, beating up the other concubines when he caught them whispering your name, or slapping the knights when they returned with no news about you.
Dabi had fallen into depression. Quite literally. He kept silent, but his eyes... they never lied. Bags underneath them, all red from his tears as cried himself to sleep, silently praying to god that you're alive. He often visits your room, each day opening the door with hope that you'd still be in bed. Then he'd slam the door shut and return to his court to sort out affairs. His advisors tell him that concubine Keigo has been abusing many people in the castle but Dabi doesn't say anything. He asks for an update on you, then they remain silent. And when they try to tell him that he needs to get back on his feet because his people are suffering, he glares at them.
Then he'd call Shotou and ask him about news. He's asked Shotou to investigate who could've tried to hurt you. The slightest suspicion has Dabi going to war with the country, killing anyone and everyone without mercy.
Slaughtering entire nations to find you, Dabi may have grown his empire, but his people feared him. He'd become cruel, not giving a second thought as he drove his blade into someone.
People had now nicknamed him as "the Mad King".
And he'd remain so until he finds you.
Maybe even after that.

The coronation went better than you'd hoped for. As soon as King AFO announced you as the future ruler of the kingdom, the crowd interrupted into cheers. They had all accepted you, as their princess and as their future Queen. The terrible weight of rejection lifted off your chest the moment they all bowed, and Tomura even gave you a cheeky wink at how well you were doing.
Perhaps the highlight of the night was when your grandfather cupped your cheek with utter gentleness and kissed your forehead, whispering how proud he was of you.
The coronation was followed by a grand ball. But it was a little different. Instead of having royals at the ball, AFO had invited his subjects.
And instead of crowding you or the king like you and Tomura had expected, they were actually quite respectful of the boundaries.
Of course, you first waltzed with your grandpa.
King AFO took your hand and kissed it. "May I have dance with the most beautiful princess?" He winked at you. You giggled, letting him guide you to the center.
The attendees watched in awe and adoration as you both danced. AFO's heart was so full as he twirled you, cherishing the childlike glee on your face. For a few moments, he thought he was actually dancing with his daughter.
Waltzing with your grandpa actually made you miss you Dabi a lot. Your relationship may have become a little strained, but you don't hate him.
How could you possibly when your mind and heart is filled with warm memories of him from your childhood. You still remember Dabi putting his schedule on hold to practice different types of ballroom dances with you. He even let your tiny feet step on his shoes.
Or the time he risked his life to get back home, abandoning his visit to an important ally nation, all because he'd received a letter from Nanny Inko informing him that you'd been crying nonstop since he left and that she was worried your were gonna make yourself sick.
Hell, he even used to go along with you to visit your mother's grave. Bending down to your height, wiping her headstone with his handkerchief and explaining death and how she is in a better place.
You guess it was when he stopped going to her grave with you when your relationship went downhill.
It just hurt you so much that he'd replace your mother so easily with Keigo. Sure, you knew Dabi didn't love her as his wife, but she was still his Queen, his partner.
Your mother.
Does that not hold any weight?
Perhaps you thought that if that's how easily Dabi could forget about your mother, how quickly would he forget about his quirkless daughter once Keigo becomes a permanent part of his life.
You know its silly to think that your father wouldn't get another lover. He's a king, and he needs heirs- ones with quirk, unlike you.
Maybe you've been a little too unkind towards your father. But then again, how can you not be when he insists on sleeping with the whore who murdered your mother?
But did Keigo actually kill her? You're sure you saw your mother gasping for air in his arms as he did nothing to help her, and you remember seeing a small vile that surely had poison in Keigo's hand.
But everyone keeps saying otherwise. Be it because they fear Dabi's wrath, everyone always vouched for Keigo, told you that you were just a child back then. You didn't know what you saw.
-
"Do you think he'll like it?" You asked Tomura, showing him the golden amulet with sapphires in it. You'd made it for Dabi, using the gems from the island. These gems were said to provide protection from evil and danger.
You thought it would be nice to bring something for him when you came home after a whole month.
"Of course, princess. But His Majesty would be happier having his own jewel back." Tomura commented, tidying up your room. He doubts that Dabi would even care about anything else when he sees his daughter again.
You smiled. "Had I known we were coming here, I mightve brought something for grandpa too." Sighing you picked up the letter again. "On my next visit then. For now, let's inform father of my return."
"You can give the letter to me, princess. I can post it-" but you waved him off.
"No, you start packing our bags. And think of a gift for Concubine Keigo too."
"Moldy bread, perhaps?" You laughed at his suggestion before leaving the room.
Walking down the hall, you looked for Kurogiri to give your letter to. A servant had told you that you just missed him; Kurogiri had went out to run some errands.
Entering his office, you found the whole place dark except for a few candles and the fireplace alight (and you didn't understand why he'd leave the fire unattended. Doesn't Kurogiri know of the hazard?)
You placed the the letter on his table and were about to leave when something caught your eye. Something in the fireplace.
Bending down, you looked closer into the fire. Right against the wall laid one of your previous letters, the flames slowly crawling towards it.
What was it doing there?
You picked the fire poker from the side and poked the wooden piece around to get your letter, only to find traces of your distinct blue royal seal melting away.
Your heart sank at the realisation.
Had Kurogiri been burning your letters? All of them?
"No." You whispered to yourself. It couldn't be! Why would he do something like that?
But if... if Kurogiri really had been doing something like this, had been burning all of your letters, then that means-
Dad doesn't know you're alive.
Fuck.
You immediately got up and left the office, taking your letter with you. You need to ask Tomura about this.
-
-
Tomura was perplexed. Why would Kurogiri not post your letters? Is he a traitor? Planning to overthrow Dabi or AFO?
But it doesn't make sense. What would he gain?
So he went to investigate on his own. After you'd told him what you saw, he went to Kurogiri's office and he did find the remains of your previous letters.
When he turned around, he saw AFO standing there.
"Tomura? What are you doing here?" AFO asked, watching as the servant bowed to him. "What's that in your hand?"
Tomura reluctantly handed the letter and the remains to him. "My king, sir Kurogiri hasn't been posting any of Princess Y/n's letters. He's been burning them all-"
"I know."
"What?
"I know, Tomura." AFO sighed, examining the new letter you wrote. "I know Kurogiri's been burning all of Y/n's letters. I ordered him to." He said before throwing away the letter into the fire.
"Why?"
"You're a smart man, Tomura. And I know you care for the princess, more than anything. You know you'll protect her from everything, even herself." AFO said, staring into the fireplace. "Y/n can't go back to Dabi. I can't risk her getting hurt like my daughter. I can't. And you know she will be. You know more than anyone how unhappy she is there, don't you? Dabi doesn't love her, doesn't put her above his needs, above his fucking concubine." He looked at Tomura. "And I just can't risk losing her. She's all I have left of my daughter."
"Do you understand, Tomura?"
"I do, my King."
"Good."
Unbeknownst to both of them, you had actually overheard everything.

In the royal gay au how would the yanderes react to reader being on her period?
Pretty much normal, except... maybe some of them freak out when you first got it.
Concubine Hawks P A N I C S tf out because now it means people will start asking your hand for marriage because you're now "developed enough to bear babies" and theb youll leave him and your dear papa. LIKE HELL HE'S GONNA LET THAT HAPPEN! You're still a baby! His baby! Even if you say that you hate his guts, he knows that deep down, you do love him.
King Dabi, your father, is pretty much unfazed when Keigo comes and starts pestering him to not allow any suitors in the kingdom. He just shushes Keigo with a glare and tells him not to worry. Because period or not, Dabi wasn't gonna allow you to date/marry anyone either way. He'd rather lock you away in the high tower and set the entire world ablaze so that you don't have anyone to run to. For now, he's more concerned about you groaning in pain and throwing up.
Loyal servant Tomura is the most calm and collected. He had anticipated this day would come, and it wouldn't be wrong to say that he had even calculated it when it would come. When he first heard you calling his name in distress, eyes wide with fear and panic when you showed him your dress that you had bled through, he immediately understood. He told you not to worry, calmed you down and after assuring you that you were not dying, he got the royal nanny Inko to come and help explain periods to you. While Inko was giving you the talk, Tomura swiftly took your dress and washed it, changed your sheets and already had one of the maids knit you some pads of the finest quality.

I think Barbarian Bakugo celebrates the news with his clan when he finds out. He's now gonna ask you to marry him🥰🥰✨️

So In the royal gay Au how did hawks and Dabi form their relationship and what triggered him to be obsessed with the reader?
Okay so I imagine that Keigo was actually part of an assassin brotherhood (mostly becuase I am absolutely obsessed with Assassin's creed atm). Keigo's backstory is that he was actually an orphan and was taken in by an assassin and raised to become one and eventually kill Dabi (probably hired by AFO)
However, when Keigo actually entered Dabi's place, disguised as a concubine and saw how Dabi and his wife fought on the daily and in the process, their little bundle of joy sat outside their room, covering their ears and crying quietly, Keigo couldn't help but pity you.
So he picked you up and walked away from the screaming, consoling you in his arms and returning you to your bed while silently being appalled at how easy it could be for someone to kidnap or harm the king's only heir.
Luckily for you, Keigo found you instead of some creep.
As Keigo hummed a lullaby to soothe you to sleep, you may have mumbled "I love you, mama" (and as a young, very impressionable child, you called him "mama" a few more times later in life too- mostly as a slip of tongue, other times not.)
From there on out, Keigo becomes fond of you and eventually, a platonic yandere because you're just that damn cute and perfect. Of course anyone getting close to you doesnt go unnoticed by either of your parents. Your mom thinks that Keigo might be using you to get the king's favour, so she keeps you away from him at first but eventually allows him to be close to you when he saves you from being kidnapped/hurt/mistreated by the other concubines. Your father, again thinks that Keigo is using you to get closer to him which pisses him off at first but realises that this concubine actually has no desire to sleep with him (which is weird because thats the purpose of a concubine). This in turn actually spiked Dabi's interest in Keigo even more and seeing how soft he was towards you (and also because he once saw Keigo bathing and the way his back muscles flexed when he spread his wings- it permanantly altered Dabi's brain chemistry) and he was hooked.
So yes, Dabi fell first.
And then Dabi began to pursue Keigo, and as to not blow his cover, Keigo slept with Dabi and eventually, he fell for Dabi once the king risked his life to save Keigo and when he was healing, Dabi told his backstory to Keigo (about the immense pressure by his father to be the best and marry your mom even though he didnt love her and yadda yadda).
And now that both Dabi and Keigo were in love, with their mutual bonding over you, your mother was even more miserable than before. Because at least before Keigo came, she was able to fight with Dabi without fearing him. Now, she cant even argue with her husband without the constant fear of being replaced by someone as lowly as Keigo.
Earlier, she was only embarrassed by Dabi in their private chambers as he refused to kiss her or even sleep with her. Then Keigo came, and initially when he was close to the queen because he protected you, she sorta revealed some of her insecurities to him and now Keigo uses them against her, and not only that but both Keigo and Dabi have no qualms of humiliating her in front of everyone as they kiss and fuck and now she's the laughing stock in front of the entire kingdom.
And when she heard you call Keigo "mama", watched as you left your mother's side to run to the winged concubine who was currently making out with your father, heart sinking at the sight of Keigo opening his arms and scooping you up, tickling you and hearing your giggles as Dabi enveloped you both in his arms, oh- she never felt so out of place. She watched herself being physically cut out of this family- as if she never married Dabi, never birthed you, never existed- it was a heartbreak she wouldn't ever wish upon her worst enemy.
She felt truly alone, for the first time.

I don’t have that great of a mom so I’m celebrating Mother’s Day with all the yanderes 🤩
A couple of my friends wished me that and moaned "mommy" and I was like 👁👄👁??? Okay? I always thought I radiated daddy energy and they said "You do, we'll wish you on father's day as well!"
Speaking of yanderes, I'm just snickering in the dark thinking about all the yanderes on mother's day like-
Embarrassing parents Gojo and Getou both getting mad and dramatically complaining about how "unlucky" they are because you didn't wish them mother's day. And so you take them out for lunch and when you wish them "Happy mother's day!" And both of them say thank you, they both look at each other in shock before bickering about who you were referring to. Which was soon followed by them LOUDLY fighting about who the "daddy" was in this relationship and you wanted to crawl in a ditch and die because of how much attention and weird looks they were attracting.
Uncle Naoya being blackmailed by baby Fushiguro's big fat tears and sniffles about missing her mom, so he takes her out and let's her pick some flowers and a cake and then takes you over to visit her grave. There you both sit down and have a little picnic, with you being oblivious to the fact that Naoya had her killed after she sold you to the clan.
King Dabi and Concubine Keigo watching you from a far as you sat by your mother's grave in the pouring rain with servant (big brother figure)Shigaraki lending you his shoulder to cry on. As much as Keigo wanted to comfort you, Dabi knew that it would make things worse. You're already hurting, he can't have Keigo or even himself say something that would pain you. For now, they'll watch from afar and let you stay in your room for the rest of the day.
First Lady Y/n wakes up to her Teletubbies giggling mischievously. As soon as you open your eyes, they yell "surprise!"and tackle you with hugs and kisses and poorly made but made with love cards. Then Kai gifts you something very big and shiny from Tiffany's. Then you're checking your socials, and your Twitter is blowing up with fans wishing you "Happy Mother's day!" And the hashtag #FirstLadyY/nIsAMILF starts trending no.1, pictures of you edited to make your boobs and ass (and thighs, which have a separate fan following) to look bigger and sexier than they already are. So Kai is losing his shit and has the Secret Service track those users down and shut them down permanently. While Kai is busy having a meltdown, you had received a package. You opened it and found a letter and a sealed envelope. The letter read "Happy Mother's Day, my love. Still remember the night quite fondly when you tried to take charge in bed, but I had to remind you who's the daddy. Yours truly, AFO❤" and you opened the envelope to find a Polaroid of you in a very compromising position under him. You burned the photo and the letter almost immediately.

Would Keigo and/or Dabi check up on reader after she doesn't show up for breakfast? And how would they react to her missing? (Yandere royal gay au)
The Morning After
"Keigo. Settle down." Dabi said, tired of watching the birdman pace back and forth.
"Where is she? Why isn't she here?" Keigo asked, brows knitted with worry.
"She will be here. Maybe she slept in a little late after... yesterday." Dabi replied, not particularly worried as the blonde. He knew how you were. Everytime Dabi told you off, you'd skip a meal with him and wait until he came to fetch you or feed you the food himself.
Dabi smiled. He does spoil you a lot sometimes.
"But she left without eating yesterday! And- and when I sent dinner up to her room, she didn't eat it either! Dabi please, I'm worried-" but Dabi cut him off with a wave of his hand.
"I've already sent for her. She should be here any minute." But as soon as he said that, the servant he had sent to fetch you returned, without you.
"Where is Y/n?"
The servant shuffled on his feet nervously. "Y-your Majesty... Princess Y/n wasn't in her room. I have asked around and nobody has seen her since last night!"
Keigo stomped towards the servant, grabbing him by the collar. "What the fuck do you mean?! Did she just vanish into thin air?! Where were the guards?! Where is the nanny Inko?! What the-"
"Keigo." The blonde looked over to him, the King held a hand up to silence him. Dabi then looked at the servant. "Get Tomura."
But the servant didn't move. "My King... we can't find him anywhere in the Palace either."
Within a matter of minutes, Dabi, Keigo and Shotou had climbed onto their horses and began looking for you. Dabi had sent the guards all around the city, threatening to have their heads cut off if you left the city.
In the heavy rain, the three royals sped off on their horses to look for you. "I- how long has she been gone? God, its been raining cats and dogs since last night! She- she could catch a cold! Dabi-" Keigi voiced his concerns, but Dabi suddenly zoomed ahead of them, which was enough of a sign for Keigo. Dabi was telling him to shut up and stop making him panic with him.
"Keigo, did something happen yesterday? With Y/n, I mean." Shotou asked, watching his brother's concubine contemplate whether to tell him or not. "If you tell me, we might be able to find her." And since you were the priority at that moment, Keigo told him about the incident that took place.
"So, Dabi made you wear the late queen's clothes? Jesus, Keigo you should've refused."
"I had no clothes! Besides, how could I refuse the king, Shotou?"
Shotou sighed. He knows your mother is a sensitive topic for you, but he also understood why Keigo couldn't refuse Dabi. His brother...was a bit unpredictable. And while Shotou knows Dabi loves you with all his heart, he knows that Dabi hates how attached you are to your mother-
Wait a second.
"Did you check the tomb?"
Keigo looked at him confused for a second before realisation flashed in his eyes. "Shit." With that, Shotou turned his horse around and began galloping in the opposite direction while Keigo raced ahead to get Dabi to stop and turn around.
How could they have not checked your mother's tomb first?
You and Tomura were working together to build up a small tent to protect your mother's grave from the pouring rain. Tomura had insisted that you sit back on your pony with the umbrella and leave him to do the job but you insisted. Dabi hadn't bothered to build a proper tomb from your mother, or had someone to maintain it properly at least. It's always been Tomura and you who had been taking care of the grave, cleaning it up whenever you both came to pay your respects. Even on days when you weren't able to visit her, you knew that Tomura took care of her resting place whenever he could.
When you woke up this morning and saw how heavily it was pouring down, Tomura had already prepared your horse and some cleaning equipment. He already knew you would want to visit the late queen.
Once the tent had been set up, you began clearing up her grave of all the dead leaves and insects. Tomura returned with a broom and a cloth and unsurprisingly, you took the broom from him while he was left with wiping the dirt away from the tombstone.
Shotou arrived just in time to see you brushing away the dirt from the grave, your dress all muddy and drenched in rain. Shotou knows your mother holds a special place in your heart, he knows from the spies Aizawa and Hizashi how often you visited your mother, especially after you had an argument with Dabi.
Every special occasion (birthdays, mother's day, anniversary, etc) you always make sure to go to your mother and just... vent. Sometimes, you'd just silently sit by and cry your little heart out.
Just like you were doing now.
Tomura stood by your horse and gave you some privacy, sending out a small prayer to the late queen in his heart. He averted his gaze when you kissed your mother's tomb and turned to leave and that's when you saw uncle Shotou, your father and his whore.
Dabi was fuming as he got off his horse. The sight of you crying over your dead mother melted his heart a bit, but the way you had him worried by wandering off without telling anyone had him enraged.
"Y/n!" Dabi yelled as he marched towards you, appalled at your dishevelled form. You didn't look worried as he walked over to you angrily, Keigo and Shotou following closely behind. Instead, you and Tomura calmly bowed to him.
"Your Majesty." You greeted.
Your Majesty? What the fuck-
"Where the hell have you been?!"
You looked behind at your mother's ruined tomb. "I went to visit mom."
"Without informing anyone?!"
Yours face was devoid of any emotion as you replied. "I did come to inform you earlier this morning but-" You looked at Keigo. "-You were busy. I did not want to disturb you. I'm sorry if I worried you, my King." It was clear that you were referring to the wanton moans you heard from his Chambers but what wasn't clear was you calling Dabi formal terms.
My King? Shotou and Keigo shared a confused look with each other. You rarely ever referred to him with royal terms unless there were formal engagements. But Dabi narrowed his eyes at you, he knew exactly why you were using the formal terms with him instead of calling him "dad". And it pissed him off even more that you think that you could emotionally manipulate him by acting like you're just one of his subjects instead of his heart daughter.
Fine, if you wanna play like this. Then so will I. Dabi knew you were a very stubborn kid, but so was he.
"Next time, wait before leaving. Its not like she was gonna go somewhere." The words stung, Dabi knew that, he just didn't know how much. Especially now that you just held your head down and masked your hurt well.
"Yes, your Majesty." Dabi began walking away, looking over his shoulder to call you. "Come along, you'll ride with me."
You did not want to get on a horse with him.
"My clothes will dirty yours. Besides, a King's stallion is deserving of a king only-"
"I wasn't asking." Dabi said coldly, hating how you're trying to distance yourself from him.
You nodded. "Of course, my King." You started walking towards his horse with him- just a step behind him. Like a subject and a king.
Dabi grabbed your waist and hauled you over the saddle before climbing up behind you. He grabbed the reigns from around you and your wrist accidentally brushed with his and Dabi felt how cold your skin was.
In a flash, Dabi had taken off his cloak and wrapped it around you. He took the reigns again and then sped off towards the castle, wanting to get you warm as soon as possible.
"Dabi~ please be gentle. Keep your calm and don't react to any of her words. She's just a little girl." Keigo said, not wanting a other argument to start that will end up with you in tears again.
Dabi didn't reply, resting his chin on his hand as he pondered about his next move. You soon returned from the bath, now in clean clothes. As you entered the dining room, you bowed to the king and gave a small courtesy to Keigo, surprising them both since you never even acknowledged the concubine's presence before.
Then you looked at Dabi, hands crossed in front of you as you awaited your next instructions. This was starting to get on his nerves. You know he's called you for lunch so why are you acting like a subject, asking for his next orders.
"Sit." You did. The servants began serving the dishes and you all began eating in uncomfortable silence. Well, you were more playing around with your food than you were eating, something which didn't go unnoticed by the other two.
"Why aren't you eating?" Dabi asked, hoping this wasn't some form of your childish defiance.
"I'm just not... really hungry."
"Oh? I could get the cook to make you something you'd like-" Keigo spoke, raising his hand to call over a servant but you cut him off.
"That's very kind of you Concubine Keigo. But I actually have a long ride ahead of me, so that's why I'm not stuffing myself." You said as you dabbed your mouth with a napkin.
Keigo shot a panicked look to Dabi but your father didn't stop staring at you.
"Where are you going?"
"The Todoroki Castle."
"But- but you just got here! We haven't been able to spend any time with you since you returned from Emperor Kai's." Keigo said, running a hand through his hair frustratedly.
You looked at Dabi, waiting for his reaction.
The monarch was trying hard to read you, see if you're trying to pull anything. "Keigo's right. You just got here. You don't need to go over there right now."
You nodded. "As you wish, my King. I should send a letter back and apologise to grandma that I can't come because you haven't-"
"Mom asked for you?" Dabi asked.
"Grandma and grandpa have requested my presence. But I should send them a letter-"
"No. Go. It's been long since they've seen you." Of course Dabi wasn't able to turn down his mother. He'd never hear the end of it if he kept you from her.
"I told you! I told you, Dabi! You pushed her too far! Now she wants to go to your parents!" Keigo was pacing back and forth while Dabi was fixing up his hair in the mirror.
"Keigo, for fuck's sake, relax. She's going to visit mom, not the dragons."
"She might as well! Look, she's still mad at us- didn't you hear her calling you "my king" and "Yes, your Majesty"? God- Dabi, its never a good sign to send away your child when they're still mad! She'll never return! Dabi, please! Listen to me-"
"No, you listen to me Keigo." Dabi said, turning around to shoot a glare at him. "If she doesn't go, she would've said that I didn't let her go. And mom will think I didn't let her go because you stopped me. You're not their favourite, Keigo. You know that. I just don't want you to be getting blamed for something you didn't do." Dabi said, holding Keigo's face gently.
Keigo sighed, wrapping his arms around Dabi and resting his head on Dabi's chest. "Still..."
"Dont worry." Dabi kissed the top of his blonde head. "Besides, it'll be good for her. Mom, Fuyumi and Natsuo might talk some sense into her. Her anger will extinguish soon and we'll be a happy family again." Keigo pulled back to look at him. "You're not thinking about-"
"I am." Dabi smiled. "We'll announce our engagement when she returns."
You had left the Palace an hour ago with a grand entourage. Really, you only required Tomura and Izuku, but Dabi ordered that you take the Princess entourage with you. So you had a small army of knights and an equal amount of servants going with you.
"Did you give it away?" You asked Tomura about the food Keigo had cooked and packed for you.
"Yes, princess. There were some beggars on the side. I gave it to them."
"Good." Even though you liked riding horses, the horse carriage gave you the benefit of privacy. Tomura sat from across you, reading up on a book about sea voyage.
"Tomura, did you send the letter to emperor Kai?"
"Yes. His reply came back earlier this morning."
"Hm. What did he say?"
"He has agreed to help us."
You smiled. "Good. Very good."
It was a whole four days and a half's journey to get to the Todoroki Castle. And when your carriage entered the village, the people of Todoroki Kingdom erupted in cheers. Songs were sung by children as everyone called out for tge princess.
"Everyone is happy to see the future Queen." Tomura said, making you blush.
Once your carriage reached the castle, you stepped out and were met with an even grand welcome. The band musicians began playing their instruments and you were led inside to the court where everyone awaited you.
As soon as you saw them sitting on the thrones, you bowed and your entourage fell to their knees as well.
You peeked from your lashes and the moment you saw Enji's finger gesturing you to come forward, you ran towards him and the he caught you mid air, twirling you around just as he did when you were a kid.
"Y/n! My doll!" Enji kissed your temple and the whole court watched in awe at their king giving you affection- a rare moment to see him so soft.
"Grandpa, stop!" You giggled and when he finally let you down, you were tackled into another hug by Rei.
"My baby, my princess, oh how I have missed you." Rei had actual tears in her eyes as she kissed you all over the face.
"Me too, grandma. Me too." You laughed, her kisses tickling you. After hugging her, you saw Fuyumi and she also engulfed you in a hug. "And where has the mischievous little princess been all this time?"You smiled as she pinched your nose. Pulling back, you looked for your uncle Natsuo but didn't see him around.
"Oh Natsuo's in his province fighting off some rebels so he couldn't be here. Sorry, Y/n-" Fuyumi was cut off by the sound of a crash. You all looked back towards the entrance and that's when you saw him.
Natsuo jumped off his horse and began throwing off his bloody armour on the way (some poor servant was knocked unconscious by his flying helmet). Once he was near enough, he gave a quick bow to his parents before tackling you down in a hug.
"Natsuo! Be careful!" Rei admonished, but smiled because she knew how much he missed you. They all did.
"Uncle Natsuo-" you squealed as Natsuo gave you bone crushing hug.
"Sorry for coming late. I was fighting with some rebels but the moment I got news you were coming, I ended the battle quickly."
You rolled your eyes. "Or maybe you just wanted to make an entry."
"No, that's really more Fuyumi's style- ow!" Fuyumi kicked Natsuo's shin.
"Alright, get away from Y/n now, Natsuo. You've rubbed blood all over her clothes. Come on, sweetie. Let me show you the bath. Then we'll have dinner." Rei said and in an instant, Natsuo had thrown you over his shoulder and began carrying you towards the bathroom while Fuyumi and Rei began scolding him to be gentle with you.

Reader-Princess giving all of her parental-like yanderes grey hair and I'm living for it.
Not just the parental yanderes, she's making all yanderes S T R E S S E D.
She has Knight/childhood bff Izuku warding off all her admirers. He's probably lost count of the times he's had to pull you back inside the window when you tried to sneak out, from the 4th floor. And you've always been so easily distracted. Even as kids, Izuku had to break up and free your wrist from whoever was trying to kidnap you (usually barbarian prince Bakugou or little empress Momo).
Not to mention, reader has uncle Shotou (whose older than her by 5 years only, so they've always been the best of friend). He's seen you grow up, and the bond you two have is unbreakable. Dabi knows that when you're ready to take the throne, he can trust Shotou to be your personal advisor because he knows Shotou will always guide you to the correct path, always have the best interest in store for you. You're always going to Uncle Shotou to complain to him about Dad's whore Keigo, and while Shotou likes to agree with you, he does not like it when you say that you'll run away with Katsuki or Momo just so that you could get away from Keigo.
Poor servant Shigaraki who has zero energy because he's anemic or whatever, is always being dragged around by princess reader. It's not that he doesn't like her, no no, he L O V E S her, but he just wants you stop putting yourself in danger. He just want you to lay in his lap and let him feed you grapes, but you want to wrestle a bear just so that you can bring him home and dress him up for tea parties. Fortunately, Dabi forbid you from doing such thing. But that doesn't mean you won't cause mischief. And you make Tomura your partner in crime too. Just last week you made him help you throw the water he'd used for washing your clothes at a concubine. You feigned innocence, saying that you didn't see her from your window, but you definitely did saw someone walking out of the harem and you only hoped it was Keigo. Unfortunately, it was not. He's tried saying no to you, but everytime he looks at your beautiful, angelic face, a small pout forming on it, he can't help but agree to whatever troublesome shenanigan you're dragging his iron deficient body to.

Alright I was reading this post about how homosexuality is created by the gen z and how it's because people have strayed away religion and have now plunged down into evil, and how it didn't exist in the old times and I just thought.
"I know I'm bad at math, but statistically speaking, there had to be, there had to be at least a couple of 100 gays back in the day too."
And then my mind went too how horrible punishments used to be back in the day, like I recalled the Tudors show where they showed how painfully they used to punish the "non believers" and then I started thinking about how these empires must have had gay people too.
You can't tell me that there must've not been at least a few royal gays. And I'm not just talking about the British royals, I'm talking about all of them. Like the Ottoman empire, the Mughal empire, etc.
And then as I started writing this post, I started thinking about gay royal platonic yanderes. And you know who came to mind instantly?
King (or Sultan, haven't decided yet) Dabi having a harem full of his concubines, and he's being actively seduced by his favourite, Prince Keigo of Takami land.
Prince Keigo, the only heir to his kingdom, willingly entered Dabi's harem because of 2 reasons:
1. He loved Dabi.
2. Keigo loved Dabi's daughter, Y/n.
Now, Keigo has watched (and helped) grow Y/n a lot the past few years. And while Keigo would happily lay his life for her, Y/n loathes the man. You know he poisoned your mother, the queen. And now, he's trying to seduce your father and marry him! Keigo may warm his bed, but you'd be damned if you let your father marry him.
So now it's a game of Keigo and the little princess trying to make Dabi listen to them, both of whom Dabi treasures very much.
Ooh can you imagine how protective and possessive Keigo and Dabi would turn when the reader gets proposals from other kingdoms??? Or if Dabi ends up marrying Keigo, how coddling Keigo would be towards the Princess, telling her to sit like a lady, fight like a man, cut off the testicle of whoever tries to marry you, how to properly wear a tiara.
Or how Keigo and Dabi's hearts would melt when they see how jealous their baby reader is of them? Like
Dabi, holding Keigo in lap as they both kiss and be lovey dove to each other: I love you.
Keigo: I love you too, my King- *they stop kissing when they hear someone sniffle*
Baby Reader, looking angry and her eyes full of tears: *sniffles* y-you don't love me?
Keigo, reaching out to pick you up: oh baby, I do-
Reader, smacks his hand away:I wasn't talking to you! *breaks down into tears*
Dabi, immediately pushes Keigo off his lap and picks you up: oh baby, no. I only love you, only you my little menace. *smooches her cheek* do you understand?
Reader, nodding: yes, papa.
Keigo, rubbing his cheek and and pouting: I love you both too. Can I have a hug?
Dabi and Y/n: no. *reader sticks her tongue out at Keigo*

Keigo finally holding baby princess: Aww how cu-
Princess reader: *immediately starts screaming and crying*
Keigo: She just needs a little-
reader: *going red in the face and kicking her legs*
Servant: Please master Keigo. Put her down before she makes herself sick and I get blamed.
Yandere Step Dad/Concubine definitely the type of fuy to be jealous of your mom/the queen because she was able to do something with you he never could: breastfeed.
And like the mom being all smug as she feeds you like "yeah you may have stolen my husband, but you'll never be able to take my daughter away from me🥰" because she knows that it annoys Keigo that he'll never be able to replace her or be as close to you as her.
That's why Keigo has been trying to bond with you since day 1, and since you seem to hate hum even more with time, he tries even harder to bond with you. And he's getting desperate as you grow up, so accept him as your new mommy or else he'll be forced to take drastic measures.
Honestly, he could spend time with you without you crying when he brought you some sort of pets because you'd be too distracted by the cuteness to notice a distressed bird man finally sighing in relief when he gets to cuddle you.
