I know there is a lot of talk on this already and as I have reblogged some memes about it I wanted to clarify my position on the oceangate drama

Yes I believe it is terrible that those 5 people died. No I do not think there is a chance any of them are still alive. Yes I am also making fun of it and laughing at memes.

Human suffering is objectively always bad, even for evil billionaires. However I still believe there is no ethical way to become/stay a billionaire when so many people around the world are suffering for basic necessities.

The CEO knew of the many flaws the titan had, the window had only been declared safe for the 1300m sealevel pressure, the Titanic is down at 4000. This is why I firmly believe they have imploded. Honestly the most humane way to go out of all of their options in my opinion. Nevertheless, there were countless cut corners when it came to the safety of the vessel. He knew and still went through with it to safe some extra bucks.

There are multiple governments looking for these 5 people. Millions of taxpayer dollars. Money that could have went into helping others. Helping the several hundred migrants that drown trying to cross the seas for safer pastures. Instead it's being used to search for 5 rich fucks that went into the living death trap of their own volition, to look at a watery mass grave.

"Oh but they had ties to the Titanic." So do many other people. There are a lot of museums you can go to instead.

"One of them is only 19 years old!" And that is terrible. I'm not denying that. But it still cost a quarter of a million dollars for him to go on that submersible and he did. He signed the death waiver and went on it. He is still a very rich young adult capable of looking at that death trap and being "Um I'm not sure about this, dad."

I just think it is irony that the submersible that 5 rich people paid a lot of money for, sank due to corner cutting to save more money for the CEO, to look at one of humanities greatest hubris's, now probably is laying next to it with a few more people in that mass grave.

Things I like about Tumblr, 2022

first off, Tumblr isn't perfect, it's full of people, and people in general and on-line can be pretty crap, but in a rare move for me I'm looking at the good.

you are not expected to post under your own name/face. In fact people would think you were pretty freaking weird if you did. To the Best of my knowledge only one person posts under their own name with their face as a profile pic, Hi Neil Gaiman! If we keep this up Tumblr will not become a semi-work space like twitter

No one knows your follower count (and honestly you shouldn't know it either) The level of brain rot I see on twitter around having a big follower count is so embarrassing, "help me get to X million!" is so very cringe, much like blue checks its a meaningless thing and we're all better off not knowing who's "popular" there are popular posts not people.

I have a very popular post about the long term nature of Tumblr so I won't go too much into it other than to say that it's nice that we can have long term jokes and memes on here, because we're able to reblog things from the past without any shame and judgement and so a culture and in jokes and yearly (or weekly) events happen here in a way I don't see on more "now! now! now!" social media.

You can do whatever, linking to #1 because we're not a semi-professional webpage where people are selling their "brand" etc there's little to no pressure (outside of yourself) to stay on topic or theme, you can and should reblog that gif set of a funny show from 10 years ago, that moody art shot of a field before a storm, and that short video of puppies falling over, wild out.

You decide if people see your likes. How many times did people get busted for having porn in their Twitter likes, where here no one can judge you, again we're not a work space so if you like that picture of a man in jock strap, go for it reblog that shit, but if you're shy don't worry you can enjoy what you enjoy without having to share with the class.

We hate crypto, we hate NFT, we always have we always will and thats very sexy of us

you can (still) say what you like. The need to make platforms safe for advisors and influencers has lead to "unalive" and other ways to try to get around using bad words. On Tumblr I can say that Elon Musk sucks a whole bucket of monkey shit and I hope he's pushed down the stairs at Twitter HQ.

Tags my beloved, tags are funny, lovely cool little notes, a way to add a joke, say something heart felt etc without worrying "is this needed?" and guess what if the answer was "yes it was" someone will screen shot them and add them to the post for you, win win.

Long form thought, I know this is a semi-jokey list but like no joking I think having all our politicians, journalists and "thought leaders" spending all day on and mainly communicating through a webpage with a very small character limit was/is very bad for our society. Tumblr (as you can see) you can write an essay (I don't think those people should come here, but I never run out of characters)

there's nowhere better for formatting gifs or picture sets, I honestly can't imagine trying to post a series of gifs or pictures on Insta or Twitter and having them all folded up rather than laid out in order all visible at once (and not cropped down, well most of the time)

There's no algorithm, everyone says it but it needs to be on the list, there's no real hand holding pushing you to this or that, there's nothing boosting or hiding your post, you pick what you like and follow it, and then those blogs do something weird and different and thats chill and you keep on.

we're the gay trans sex website, pretty much no where else on-line can you find this much dumb, non sequitur queer humor or as supportive of the trans experience, yes there are TERFs but they are more fringe here than basically any where else.

we just don't matter, back to #1 we are not a place where you can market yourself or your brand or whatever, as such things are just not that serious, this is a social media website made for fun, to enjoy TV, books, and movies mainly but really whatever you do enjoy.

negative I'd like to address before I go, the on-going porn ban, I'm not in favor of porn itself on here, I don't think we need gif sets of studio porn or whatever. But once Tumblr was a safe space for a lot of queer performers to spread their self made work. It also was a safe space for Queer art, both photographic and drawn, to express sensuality and sexuality. And a safe space for Queer artists to draw art of characters totally fucking the shit out of each other. It was a place where enjoyment of the human form and sexuality could be mixed with all the other parts of life as normal. There were for sure problems, however in an ever more censored and sex negative world I think a freed Tumblr is more needed than ever, so I hope we figure that out soon.

Yeah granted that is a typical meme type post that would spread like wildfire on tumblr, where I think about a third of the userbase was born in the 90s. But the point does stand.

I guess Gleeks did rule the website but it's a yes and no. Particularly interesting is that the other fandoms that co-ruled, mainly Superwholock and Harry Potter, have all had their cringe reckoning and so did Glee. Now I'm not a big fan of people cringing whenever Glee is mentioned and my gifsets that break containment often gets rude tags about the show itself, and I think being embarrassed about what you liked as a teen is far more embarrassing than the thing itself. Anyway, different topic. But also Sherlock ended a shitshow and traumatized its fandom, Supernatural is... Supernatural, and the only thing that saved Doctor Who is its ever-renewing nature, but many look back on the 10th and 11th Doctors eras and cringe. And Harry Potter is rightfully getting denounced left right and center mainly because of the horrible nasty TERF that you know who is. And isn't that interesting? How the biggest fandoms also fall the hardest? Go forward in time and look at Game of Thrones. It almost feels inevitable when a piece of media flies this close to the sun and eclipses all else, only to crash and burn in one way or another.

Anyway. That's just me rambling. Gleeks did in fact run tumblr and tbh a part of the internet as a whole for a while. Look up ch and ship polls from back in the day, not even bots voted like Gleeks did. The only thing is that it's always been a fandom divided, more a collection of subfandoms of ships and chs than a united entity. Traumatized many, from what I've heard. And that's not even getting into the relics that you can stumble upon, like old fandom lore of the GKM (Glee Kink Meme) that I found out about a while back and have developed a morbid fascination with. Like... if any Glee fandom veterans wanna talk to me about that please do lmaooo that is just next level stuff.

Wow, I have friends from as far back as my first widely published story on FanFiction.net (including you, my friend), which was a Sky High epic (War and Peace In Mind), some folks who came over from LiveJournal when I was doing Heroes, Sherlock, and Supernatural that I'm still in contact with, and a number I've become friends with through the MCU and other fandoms over the years here on Tumblr. Some I've met through Big Bangs (reverse and otherwise), others through Dreamwidth and Discord (my Hydra Trash Party peeps), some through various charity auctions where we've stayed in touch (whether I was the buyer or the seller). Lots of great folks!

13. Describe your writing style. If you were to participate in an anonymous fic writers guessing game (like The Masked Author), what writing habits do you have that would be a dead giveaway that it's you?

Hmm, I tend to like some particular tropes (tentacle fic is rather niche), but I also am a big fan of fairy tales and frequently use those as a framework in some of my stories.

Hmm, came up with a wings!AU for a Heroes fanfiction, where Luke was experimented on to grow wings. Sylar rescued him and had to act as a sort of mama bird to Luke. It was one of those stories that came to mind complete with a whole plot and even a title, which was very considerate of my brain. Hatchling

And I did a male lactation story for MCU, which is on the odder end of things. (Steve gets a rack, courtesy of Hydra experiments, and chooses to use them for good.) ...For All He's Worth

I think those are two of the weirder ones I've done. 😁

Hey! A million years ago, I was a huge fan of your Heroes fic on Livejournal. With everything that's going on with Russia, I hear we'll be losing access to LJ pretty soon, and I see that a lot of your fics were never transferred to AO3. Is there any chance you'll move them over to the archive or another platform to be preserved?

Ack, yes, I probably will be doing that tonight! But if all else fails, I do have all of my fics backed up on my hard drive. Thanks much for reminding me, and I'm glad you liked my fics!

*slides into your DMs* I hear you loved David the Gnome as a kid and frankly I am DELIGHTED to finally find another soul who both remembers and loves that show. I just rewatched the series last year and a: it is way heavier than I remember when I was like 3 and b: it SLAPS frankly. Ages excellently. A+ for excellent taste in childrens shows.

Oh heavens yes! I watched David the Gnome in elementary school (ages 8-12), and many years later found and bought the book The Secret Book of Gnomes by Wil Huygen, on which the series is based. And the book does have some of those heavy themes in it. The illustrations are truly amazing!

No just kidding. They were extremely nice and I never expected this in a million years. They could have easily ignored me and yet they decided to be extremely sweet. I don't know what I did to deserve such kindness from them and I just have no words. It's just VERY VERY sweet. Aston Martin just keeps winning me over and over and ove-. THEY ARE TOO NICE.

2. What’s your total AO3 word count?

995596 - just a few more ficlets or 1 longer fic, and I've got a Million! Hey, maybe I should try to write one with... 4404? (I'd need to ask a calculator xD) words exactly... not rly a hardship with how many drabble exercises (exact wordcounts, 100 is the most used, I also do 200, 500, longest was 10000 exactly lol) I've already done... we'll see!

Over 400k for this year alone, and over half of that is my actual writing (not translations etc), I'm so proud! Last year I only barely hit 200k and that included a lot of translating work

3. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

Again, one could look this up in my works filtered - sorted by kudos? But all three of my incubus!jaskier witcher series are in it, part 2 of the series is highest with 1091 kudos, then a Venom halloween oneshot, and 'Belonging', a fluffy snake-crowley piece from my ineffable spouses series (yes, sth with under 1k words - 666 to be exact - is in the top 5... my poor longfics lol)

4. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

...I try to? But atm I have 202 unanswered (and I always click 'mark read' on replies so these are all comments on my own fic) even tho I told myself I'd not let it get past 200, and now I'm doing a tag meme instead of replying to anything so ummmm

*thinks* I have an MCD fic? But not only is that very much a case of ~posting a draft version that's barely in complete sentences insgead of taking the time to turn it into a real longfic~, I also just killed off the mlm couple I only semi care about and left the wlw couple with a happy/hopeful (rly don't remember) ending, so... hm idk whether that counts for angsty ending

Apart from that... I dunno, I just prefer my babies to be happy and fluffy? *.* i remember a mirror milippa in the mirrorverse one where in the end Michael is worried about lying to Philippa about her identity... there are some angsty TOG and Gomens ones but I think they end happy-ish (my memory is. Bad. but looking through my 'angst' tag I just saw a lot of h/c and 'angst with a happy ending')

Recently I've just gotten a bunch of 'you Need to continue this' and 'omg why isn't there more' or 'this shouldn't end' type comments, not hate, probably not meant maliciously, but So Annoying (maybe espesh bc I don't want to just hit delete on these, but I also don't want to pretend it's fine, but I also don't have the energy for a fight, and trying to explain why that behaviour is entitled and annoying and that I write what I want to write and nice comments should praise what I actually have written, and hoping that they understand and don't get mad is... hard.)

9. Do you write smut? If so what kind?

Mostly femslash lately, but I did also write other smut in the past

Most is a bit dominant/submissive play, but I do also like good fluffy smut with feelings! Best in combo, really :D

Not in the sense of pretending someone else wrote it (that i know of), but posted to other sites without my permission - writing 'don't repost to other sites' etc did Not help, they even copied those tags lol, so I just let it be, choosing my battles wisely etcetc, I'd prefer for my fic not to be cross-posted by others bc then I can't edit or otherwise influence the fic anymore and don't see everyone's reactions to it, but as long as it's not someone pretending they wrote it, I only semi care, not enough to fight it tbh

PSA: I Only post fics to Ao3 (and WIPs/prompt fills to tumblr&discord at times), if you see them somewhere else that's Not Me and you'd do me a favour by checking them out on ao3 and kudosing&commenting there instead :)

11. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Yup, one to Russian a while back, a floreleine (Gunpowder Milkshake) one to Korean just today actually, and I translated a bunch to German myself

I made a TOG fic together with @cinnamonplums, well mostly I wrote and she made the art :D

Atm Milippa is OTP bc I'm busy writing them for @discoveryfemslashfortnight (this is not a post to reblog for the fortnight), but I'm also still rly into Floreleine, Bering&Wells and Andromaquynh and Andronilynh, and I read a lot of Mirandy lately

All-time favs I'm not rly active in atm but will always be dear to me are the ineffable spouses, clintcoulson, heistwives, gosh so many more I'll stop here tho xD

14. What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

A Heistwives Kinda Job immediately comes to mind

I also rly want to finish at least one cohesive original-ish storyline for the lverse that I already linked for the crossover question above, but I just have so much backstory (it's been over 10 years!!!) and it's... hard...

And everything else that's still WIP and untouched for more than a few months will probably have the same fate lol

Also have a few that haven't even seen the light of day at all, most recent a Mirandy ~what if Andy had been pregnant when Miranda hired her and how would it change the entire storyline~ bit - I wrote it in bulletpoints in one go as quickly as I could, I know I had the finished product in my mind, I don't remember anything now and don't feel like going through the bulletpoints painstakenly filling in the blanks

Writing one-shots quickly in one go

Forgetting everything about a fic if I leave it in a draft for a second too long

17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

There are many ways to go about it, and I think they all work (depending on the fic and the length and relevance of the dialogue)

I tend to leave single sentences as is, and for longer and important sequences use cursive and 'they said in xylanguage'.

18. What was the first fandom you wrote for?

The Hobbit apparently? I remember thinking that fic was so long lol, it's 3k

19. What’s a fandom/ship you haven’t written for yet but want to?

Kat/Ana from Reef Break, they have Such Shippable Chemistry, and it would totally fit Kat's player personality to bang both siblings (she's canonically friends with benefits with Ana's half-brother)... but the ship has one (1!) fic on Ao3 *cries*

TOG Andromaquynh longfic In Your Stead has had the title since last year and probably for a while to come! I loved the story idea so much I really worked with several drafts and only! worked on that fic until it was finished so I wouldn't get distracted & forget about it, and the result was wonderful.

🍎 why did you choose your url?

At first this blog was gonna be a sort of ‘archive’ for all the 1D things I wanted to have tagged and find easily. During the beginning stages of my 1D fandom experience I investigated a lot about past events, so I realised that I needed a place to keep all the posts I found interesting, and to organise myself. So, like, no pretension of interaction with the fandom or anything, this blog was a ‘by me to me’ thing, so I chose the first url that came to mind. I already have a main account for all my other interests, so this was... technically a side account. In the end, that assumption was a bit far from reality, though, since I use it way more than my main blog😂

🍎any side-blogs? if you have them, name them and why you have them.

Actually, this is the one that’s supposed to be a secondary account hahaha I have another main one that I’d rather keep separate, but nothing else💕

🍎how long have you been on tumblr?

I’ve been using tumblr with my other account since December 2010, in a very casual way. I set this one in August 2018 (as I was saying, as a sort of storage-site for posts I found interesting!) but I’m sure that by mid-2019 I was already properly on tumblr🥰

🍎do you have a queue tag?

I do! I always have a queue running but I don’t have a specific tag for it, so if you see me around, it’s probably just the queue :)

🍎why did you start your blog in the first place?

As I was saying earlier, the idea was to use it to keep some 1D stuff for reference. At some point, the whole purpose of the blog started shifting and I started interacting a bit with some very lovely people from the fandom... and now here we are!🥰💗

Because it’s happy Louis! My absolute favourite thing💗

I wanted something larry-related, and when I found this one I instantly fell in love with it. It doesn’t work that well on mobile, though, so that’s why I have a Louis one for that version (and I love the colours and the small Louis smile on that one!).

I find them very annoying, I really don’t have to do anything. My tumblr, my choice. I don’t use this website as anything else than a place to blog about 1D; anything out of that topic is still entirely my choice and ‘off topic’ for my blog. If I want to raise awareness of social issues, I use another forms of social media. But I’d sometimes reblog them if I feel like they spread important and urgent information!

Somehow Joshua actually does get defeated by someone, but he manages to escape grievously wounded. He knows he has very little time before he succumbs to his injuries and the person who attacked him becomes Shibuya’s Composer. He manages to drag himself to Neku, shoves a gun into his hand, and says “kill me before these wounds do so you’ll become the Composer instead.”

Neku, of course, protests, but for whatever reason Joshua can’t heal himself from the damage he took, and he refuses to let that person who attacked him become Shibuya’s Composer. Neku is the only person he trusts to care for this city. Besides, if Neku becomes the Composer, he can use his powers to bring Joshua back as a human -- then Neku and Joshua can work together (and sigh, yes, the peanut gallery can team up with us too) to track down and defeat Joshua’s would-be murderer.

Neku reluctantly agrees, and as he takes the gun, hands shaking as he points it at Joshua, Joshua grins at him, bleeding out on the floor, and whispers “I guess we’re even now, huh, Neku?”

ok first, anon? you're a delight. thank you for humoring me lol.

and...god what can I say about her that I haven't already said a million times? Anthy is amazing. She's one of the most fascinating characters in all of fiction imo. She comes from a narrative where everyone is a metaphor and no one is real and at the end of the story she decides she's going to be real. And so she just straight up fucking leaves and says i'm done being a metaphor, I'm done being a fairy tale, I am going to get rid of the trappings of the lie I've been living by taking off my fake glasses and letting down my hair and taking off the school uniform for a school I've always been too old to attend anyway, and I'm going. That last line of hers when she leaves Akio is so powerful. "I'm going now." That's it, and that's all she needed to say. No explanations. No goodbyes. No even slight acknowledgement of Akio in that sentence. She centers herself for the first time. "I'm going now." She could just as well be speaking to the air or the wall or to the silence as much as she's just saying the words out loud to make them real. Maybe she's not even talking to Akio at all. Maybe she's just stating a fact.

I just saw someone refer to Mary Hunt from Villainess as a useless lesbian and i think we need to roll back on the memes for a moment and realize that Mary Hunt is the opposite of a useless lesbian. Like she doesn’t freak out and get flustered when her object of affection shows interest in her, she takes initiative lol she had detailed plans for how to scoop Katarina out of her engagement and go on the run with her the second she was given an opening. This is from my Lavellan/Cullen fic, set on the night Lavellan drinks with Bull to celebrate having slain a dragon.

“We have to have a very serious conversation,” she says, hiccupping.

“Do tell.”

“You’re not allowed to break my heart.”

“I hadn’t planned on it.”

“It’s just,” she sighs. “Everyone will find out and then we’ll be answering questions for weeks and everyone will be tiptoeing around us—”

He stops her with a finger over her mouth. “Hold on, we can’t break up because you’re worried about what the rest of the Inquisition will say?”

She nods.

Cullen thinks about how quickly their kiss on the ramparts had turned into a full blown discussion he’d had to have with Josephine. “You’ve made your point,” he says.

For all that she mostly raised Prim, Katniss has no idea how to be a mother. The baby crying frustrated her at first, just wishing he would open his tiny mouth and tell her what’s wrong. Peeta was the one that would reach for him, checking his diapers, rocking him gently and shushing him while he asked Katniss when he last fed. He kept the baby’s schedule on a pad of paper in the kitchen and tried to get her to use it as a reference point, but she couldn’t stop the well of panic every time he cried.

Scenes From a Cargo Bay

Gen - James Vega & FemShep friendship story

Summary: A friendship unfolds.

A million thank yous to @swaps55 for her enthusiasm for all things but most especially this story, and for betaing it last night.

The first time Shepard comes down to the cargo bay, she still has soot streaked across her face. Sweat and maybe a few tears cut thin lines through the gritty gray. She attacks the clasps of her armor with hands that James can see shaking from behind his stack of crates. Piece by piece, it gets thrown on the table in the corner.

He drops a box of ammo, just so she hears it. He doesn’t think it would be that easy to sneak up on the great Commander Shepard, but it still seems polite. She doesn’t startle, but then, he knew she wouldn’t.

“Kaidan’s going to be fine,” she says when she’s done with the armor. Just a white t-shirt and her thermal pants underneath, indents from the armor still visible on both. She leans over the table, arms spread wide and stiff. Spots of sweat make the shirt stick on her back in odd shapes.

The only words they’ve exchanged since leaving Earth were right there, right where she’s standing, when he yelled at her to go back, to fight the Reapers, to make a difference. But he’d been thinking small, even though he was thinking of the whole Earth. Like any good marine, he solves the problems in front of him, often with enormous guns. It’s different for Shepard, he knows it is.

After Mars, it still isn’t different for him, but he doesn’t resent her. Not for leaving Earth, anyway.

He wonders suddenly if it’s weird for her, him being on the ship, a reminder of her time in that small room on Earth, held captive because of the terrible decisions this war keeps forcing her to make. He wonders if he’d have had the cojones to blow up a relay.

oh dude i didn’t even know that was an anxiety i had until i used tumblr. the compulsion and my adhd guilt brain feels bad for not doing or doing anything. initially i would reblog it because my guilt for scrolling over something that i am not the target audience for didn’t sit right with me and i would reblog every chain post and took me a while to work out the balance and tell myself that these reblog and something will/ won’t happen is not how life works so don’t let that hover in your brain and make you feel bad and idk dude lmao

@womaninsidewater reblogging here because I'm not going to read your 7-10 dumbass memes (or subject my followers to it) that are no doubt full of misinformation and most likely have nothing to do with what I said.

So you're against abortion being legal, but you don't want it to be illegal? You do realize that there's not an in-between of legal vs illegal, right? Decriminalization means it's still illegal, but the charges are less (generally more like a fine, but you can't go to jail for it). Due to the 9th ammendment in the US, anything that is not specified by the law to be illegal, is legal. And obviously any specified by the law to be legal is legal. So you have to be on one side or the other (or not care about the legality at all). So if you're against abortion being legal, then you're for abortion being illegal and vice versa.

Simply making abortion legal doesn't mean the government is controlling someone's body. Like walking being legal doesn't mean the government is controlling your body. Heart surgery being legal doesn't mean the government is controlling your body.

I literally said that herbal abortifacients were one of the many things used. Those are included in concoctions 🤦🏻‍♀️ but just because they're herbal doesn't mean that they're safe.

PP's abortions are extremely safe. There's always a risk of complications. I hope that your friend's girlfriend has reached out to PP or her doctor because bleeding that heavily for so long is unusual after an abortion. But did you know that the total complication rate is at 2%? This means that medication abortion is safer than taking viagra. This also means that abortion is a LOT safer than continuing pregnancy, in which the high risk only complication rate is at 8%. Not to mention that for every 1 person that does from abortion, more than 4 people die from continuing pregnancy. This isn't to say that nobody should continue pregnancy and give birth. Of course they should if that's what they want to do. However, abortion is the safer option.

PP doesn't actually twist their statistics. Did you know that not all of their locations even perform abortions? PP doesn't even perform half the amount of abortions in the US every year. I'm sorry if propoganda has fooled you into thinking otherwise. I mean abortion is only 3% of what PP does. They do a LOT more than abortion. I know people who have found out they have cancer because they went in for a screening. People who have learned about sex and contraceptives because the state I live in doesn't allow those to be taught in schools. People who have gotten contraceptives for free. People who go there for pap smears because they don't have insurance and they can get it done for cheap (if not free).

As far as sex trafficking and PP goes, there have been a couple of cases. And when that happened, PP upped their training in general as well as made those employees go through even more training (if not fired them).

Yes, the people who went undercover got arrested because they broke the law. PP was also awarded $2.2 million in damages. This is because they weren't doing anything illegal. In fact, what they were doing was DONATING fetal tissue to science and would receive compensation from the government for expenses regarding storing and shipping the tissue.

Abortion isn't an industry any more than kidney failure is an industry 🤷🏻‍♀️ do you even know what an industry is? An industry is "economic activity concerned with the processing of raw materials and manufacture of goods in factories." In an abortion, they're not processing raw materials or manufacturing goods. In an abortion, they're providing healthcare.

Abstinence is a personal choice and you have no room to be concerned with someone else's sex life.

Personhood is a philosophical idea and has no room in the abortion debate, just like religion (I'm not saying you used religion at all to make your point, I was just making a point).

And yes, understanding how contraceptives work, how bodily autonomy and consent work, being able to afford to take care of yourself (let alone a child), being able to afford a roof over your head, etc will reduce abortion a ton. Too bad most people against abortion tend to also be against most (if not all) of those things.

I literally agreed with you that fetuses aren't a parasite. Did you not read what I said? Along with that I said that ZEF's aren't infants, yet almost all anti choicers seems to think they are.

Next time, try to respond to what I actually said rather than repeating a claim I agreed with and leaving a bunch of memes (because that was the stupidest way to respond to an argument ever) that probably had nothing to do with anything. You wanna post those memes? Do it on a separate post rather than in response to me.

I don't know enough about Gloria Steinem, so if someone wants to confirm whether she was a rad fem or not, that would be much appreciated
