Yosuke

It's so obvious to everyone how much he likes you. Like he stopped flirting and commenting on other people because he wants you to finally notice the words he's been saying to you. His patience is wearing thin and he's honestly kind of afraid that you aren't saying anything about his flirting because you don't feel the same and are trying to save his feelings.

Eventually he just flat out says "I've been flirting with you for the last six months, thanks for noticing" with some sarcasm but also exasperation because S/O how can you be so oblivious? Feels like a huge weight was taken off of him when you say you like him too.

Honestly, he's just on cloud nine when you do finally become his S/O and start dating. He does his best to be the absolute loving boyfriend to you. He still makes comments and flirts, but he gets a bit shyer now that you two are actually dating. Still, he likes seeing the smile on your face when you actually understand he's flirting.

Akira

He's not subtle with his flirting. Constantly drops hints and tells you how cute you look even if you think you look like a slob (you're his slob). You get all kinds of presents from him and lots of winks and cheeky compliments. Yet you still haven't figured it out, it's kind of amusing to him.

One day you suddenly realize a pick-up line or something and ask him if it was a flirt, which causes him to chuckle and say "I've been flirting with you for the last six months, thanks for noticing" with a grin as you start putting the pieces together.

While he acts amused but is relieved that you did notice and you two can start dating because he was ready to just tell you his feelings straight up. Gladly pulls you into a hug (if you let him) and says that he'll flirt even more just so you don't miss out on anything else.

When you said you were into photography, Yosuke thought it was going to be one of two things

“Boring” nature shots of Inaba OR cool, epic action shots (*cough* of him *cough*)

So imagine his surprise when you ask him to model for your photos

And imagine his surprise becoming even bigger and MORE dramatic when you tell him you don’t want action shots of him splashing in the take or riding a scooter- you want to take portraits of him

Begrudgingly, he’ll accept (because he loves you too much hehe) but he’s going to be awkward about it the whole time

You’ll probably take him around beautiful sights around Inaba like the shrine or the Flood Plains around sunset and have to coach him through all these different positions and poses

You’ll probably have to tell him a thousand times to “smile normally” and “stop looking miserable” because he’s starting to get bored just “standing around and looking pretty for you”

But once you show him the final product, don’t worry- he’ll be amazed at your skill and just amazed at how good you made him look

Sure, he may grumble a bit about how you took hours dragging him around only to end up with less than 10 photos that you’re satisfied with but he does thank you profoundly

You made him feel beautiful and loved when you showed him just how good your favorites looked (in the most, manly way he swears)

Yusuke Kitagawa

Yusuke is a guy who GETS it (kinda)

Since the man is (primarily? completely?) a painter and you’re medium of choice is photography, there are definitely some rules and ways of going about finding and showcasing a subject that differs between the two of you

But an artist can absolutely appreciate another artist’s work, even if you both engage in different forms of art so expect this guy to 100% be your biggest hype man

Y’all probably go back and forth with trying to spark inspiration for each other when one of you is stuck in a slump

Either way, Yusuke is not only honored- he’s thrilled to pieces when you ask him to be your model one day

Though he’s a bit difficult to work with at first

He has his own eye for aesthetics and naturally prefers to do his own poses and expressions (while maybe even directing how you should frame him in the photograph)

But once he cools his jets and lets you do your thing, everything works out

He’s more than happy with seeing your final product and he’s really able to understand your vision once he sees it come alive in the printed photographs

Might even make him so happy that he’ll make a completely abstract painting of his emotions in that moment and even name it after you haha <3

Playing Horror Games with Yosuke Hanamura

Because it’s still Halloween where I am and it’s something that popped into my head last minute

*Yosuke is a scaredy cat when it comes to anything horror related, video games included

*so when you asked him to play a horror game with you, he was very hesitant to do so

*...though he only agreed to do it because you would be the one playing it

*Anytime there was a jumpscare, Yosuke would practically cling to you for a few moments, before letting you go with a faint blush on his face and a "I wasn't scared, nope, not at all"

Lolita fashion is something you love, and you’re not afraid to show it.

You love how the cute dresses make you feel, and the sweet compliments you receive from others.

Although, getting dressed does take a bit of time. You always make sure you look your best before leaving your home for the day, and that includes makeup.

The best part of your day is when Yosuke’s eyes light up in recognition as he spots you from afar.

Unfortunately for his bike, and him, this results in him crashing his bike into the nearest trash can.

For the third time this week.

“Y/n! Oh, it’s so good to see you! I see you’re all decked out as usual.” Yosuke’s lips form a goofy grin as he slowly walks around you, admiring the cute bonnet on your head in the process.

“So, what’s the plan for today guys?” After Chie speaks up, the rest of the investigation team begins chatting amongst themselves. Yosuke continues to stand beside me, and he subtly grabs a hold of my arm.

He not so subtly motions for me to follow him, and so I do.

Kanji notices us separating from the group so he decides to voice a farewell. “Yo, Yosuke! Let me know how it goes. Watch out for that trash can next to you.” Kanji’s booming voice draws the attention of the others to our direction, and Yosuke’s cheeks burst in an explosion of red.

My cheeks flush as well, and I pray it goes unnoticed.

“Shut up moron, I can see the trash can! …but thanks.” Yosuke bashfully mutters the last part. He makes a quick escape with me in tow as Chie and Teddie’s teasing remarks reach my ears.

I wonder what Kanji means by ‘let me know how it goes?’

Aw well, this is my chance to impress Yosuke! I train my eyes on the back of Yosuke’s fluffy head as I recall the many times he’s made his love for Rise known. It doesn’t particularly bother me… okay, maybe it does. The girls Yosuke talks to or about clearly have little to no interest in him.

But I do! Why doesn’t he talk about me like that?

My thoughts continue in that direction until I accidentally bump into Yosuke’s back.

“Oof!” I step backwards and hope my makeup didn’t smudge on him. “Whoops, my bad! I should’ve given you a warning haha, but well, here we are!” Yosuke nervously gestures to…

I hope my face expresses the utter disappointment I feel; I stare into Yosuke’s eyes as he gestures to the Junes in front of us.

You have got to be kidding me.

“Yosuke, look.” I gesture to the trash cans in the aisle, and Yosuke gives me a similar deadpan look to the one I gave him a few moments ago.

I giggle as I flash a teasing grin in his direction. I relish the way his eyes gleam with that familiar sparkle of adoration. “All jokes aside, are you alright? That’s the third time this week you’ve fallen into a trash can.” Yosuke awkwardly coughs into his fist at my words, and he attempts to laugh it off.

“Haha, right right. Well um, thanks for the concern Y/n. I really appreciate it, but as you can see I am a-okay!” Yosuke comically tries to flex, which results in one of the trash cans knocking against his arm and almost falling into the aisle.

Before it can hit Yosuke I quickly hold the edge of it and gently push it back into place.

Phew, thank you, fast reflexes!

Yosuke looks at me in astonishment as I let out a sheepish chuckle. I notice a small cut on his hand, and I step forward to take a closer look. Yosuke’s eyes follow my line of sight, and he quickly hides his hand behind his back.

“Yosuke, do you have-“ “Oh, look! It’s the clothing aisle! Come, let’s see if they have anything similar to the lolita dresses you always wear. You look so pretty in them, it’d be a shame not to check right?” Before I can fully process his sweet compliment Yosuke gently grasps my hand in his as he guides me to the clothing section.

“Oh my gosh Yosuke, look!” The clothing section did in fact have lolita clothes, somehow, and I’m currently gushing over a cute petticoat I found in the clearance section.

“You’ll look beautiful in that petticoat, you should get it.” I abruptly look up when Yosuke’s soft voice reaches my ears, and my breath catches when his eyes meet mine.

I see evident affection in his warm brown eyes, and it acts as a magnet as I lean in closer to him. Yosuke leans in towards me as well, and we stare into each other’s eyes in silence for a few moments.

“Yosuke, how did you know there would be lolita clothes here?” Yosuke chokes on air after I ask my question, and I gently pat his back in an attempt to comfort him. After he recovers from his abrupt coughing fit, he avoids looking at my face as he speaks.

“Well, I may or may not have been interested in the cute clothes you wear, so… I looked into it. I have to say, it was very interesting to read all about lolita fashion. I also may or may not have convinced my father to bring in lolita clothes to sell at Junes, but he only agreed to sell some on clearance and see how that goes.” Yosuke sheepishly looks anywhere but at me. I’m glad he’s looking anywhere but at me so he can't see the way my bottom lip quivers.

Yosuke did this for me? That’s beyond thoughtful, and really considerate. He even looked into lolita fashion because of me!

“Yosuke, I…” I place a hand on Yosuke’s arm, and he slowly turns his head to look at me. We’re still standing close to each other, and my heart pounds against my chest as Yosuke takes in my expression. He slowly closes his eyes as he leans in closer to me, and I close my eyes in anticipation.

Yosuke’s soft lips brush against my own, and a soft sigh escapes my lips as he fully presses them against mine.

“Sensei, look! Yosuke finally did it! Yosuke finally-“

I feel Yosuke flinch, but despite that he takes his time before pulling away. I giggle as we both turn to look in the direction of a familiar voice.

I burst into laughter as Teddie comically gets yanked back into the cleaning aisle by his collar, and his loud complaints quickly fade away as Chie loudly scolds Teddie for blowing everyone’s cover.

Yosuke and I look back at each other, and it only results in me laughing harder as he groans in annoyance.

“I swear I’m going to kill him later.”

Yosuke ends up buying the petticoat for me despite my humble protests, and I’m practically glowing with joy as I hold the Junes bag close to my chest.

“Sorry about Teddie Y/n, that bear doesn’t know when to shut his mouth.” I dismiss Yosuke’s apology with a smile.

“No worries Yosuke! Besides, I enjoyed our kiss.” Yosuke’s face displays a goofy grin and gleaming eyes as my words reach his ears. “Oh, right. I wanted to ask you earlier, but...” Yosuke slowly stops walking, and I follow suit.

Yosuke turns to face me as the tips of his ears sport a pretty blush.

“Y/n, I’ve really enjoyed hanging out with you these last few months. I also love everything I’ve learned about you, including the parts of yourself you don’t like. So, I was wondering if you’d…” Yosuke’s eyes fix on something behind me, and he shoos whatever it is away with a few frantic flicks of his hand.

I turn to look behind me, but Yosuke quickly grabs my shoulders and pulls me towards him.

“Will you be my girlfriend Y/n?”

“H-huh…” My eyes widen at his unexpected question, and my heart flips in my chest.

My lack of a response causes Yosuke to fidget in place, but he doesn’t push me for an answer right away.

I close my eyes and take a deep breath to gather my thoughts.

It’s honestly hard to believe this isn’t a dream.

Once my eyes open again, I quickly press a chaste kiss to Yosuke’s lips. I giggle when I pull away and his lips eagerly chase after mine.

“You haven't heard my answer yet, you know?” Yosuke mutters something incomprehensible under his breath before he’s pulling me in for another kiss.

“Sensei, look! Yosuke’s about to get lucky!”

Yosuke ignores Teddie’s obnoxiously loud speculation as he gently runs his hands down my back to rest against my waist.

Once he does pull away, he glares daggers at who I assume is the investigation team behind us.

“You guys really don’t know how to be subtle, huh? Good thing spying isn’t a requirement in the investigation team.” Yosuke grumbles.

I boisterously laugh at his annoyance and softly pat his shoulder to placate him. “If you were still wondering, my answer is yes. I’d love to be your girlfriend, Yosuke Hanamura.”

The pure elation on his face is enough to cause a goofy smile to present itself on my lips.

Yosuke Hanamura x F!Reader ❀ Town of Blossoms ❀ June 16th, 2013

You opened your eyes and found yourself in a half-asleep daze. The light in your room was on and so was the television screen in front of you. As you slowly came to, you could hear the music of the fighting game menu, with a notice in the center of the screen saying that the connection had been lost.

It felt as if you had only slept for a few moments, dozing off after closing your eyes briefly to let them rest. However, you still felt rather weighed down by tiredness, not exactly being the definition of well rested. You grabbed your phone to check the time, expecting perhaps an hour at the very most to have passed.

5:49 A.M., the time read. Seems like…a little more than an hour had passed since you were last conscious. It was more around seven or eight hours, you estimated. There was also a text message notification, which you would be correct to assume was from Yosuke.

sorry i kinda fell asleep on you i left the party so i could lay down in bed and you werent responding anyways, it read.

He sent that at around one in the morning. Considering how you both dozed off at some point during the night, it was reasonable to conclude that both of you were quite drained. You shut your console down and put your controller and headset back on the shelf, not very neatly, but so that it would at least be off of the floor.

You haven’t even prepared for bed any time during the night, as you kept playing round after round with Yosuke practically non-stop. You lazily changed into pajamas and flopped onto your bed, neglecting your usual nighttime routine. The sun was already coming in through your window, despite how early in the morning it was.

Too early for this, you thought, so you yanked the curtain forward in order to prevent as many rays of sunshine as possible from reaching your eyes. The sun was yearning for you to begin your day bright and early, but to you, there were still plenty of hours left for you to sleep. Even if you felt the slightest bit awake now, you were doomed to eventually succumb to tiredness later in the afternoon.

A few hours later, you woke up once again, this time unable to fend off the sun’s rays beating through your window. Still groggy, you gave up on sleeping any longer and slowly rose from your pillow. The excitement from yesterday had drained you, though it wasn’t a bad thing, you still craved just a little bit more rest yourself. The air was hot, the sun was merciless, and at this point, you might as well see if Yosuke was perhaps interested in a few more rounds with you.

Sitting on the edge of your bed attempting to further wake up, your mind was slowly overtaken with lingering thoughts from yesterday. You had a ton of fun playing with him, and craved more of that very same feeling of joy. At the same time, you questioned the validity of this fun that you were having with him. Of course, it was clear that you were genuinely enjoying it, but was this all perhaps a bit...selfish? To always have someone so eager to accompany you whenever you were feeling bored or lonely? A year ago, you might’ve not thought this way, but seeing as how isolated and desperate for companionship he has become as of late, you worried that you were unintentionally taking advantage of him.

He didn’t seem to mind your company one bit. In fact, he has admitted to enjoying your time a bit too much many times in the past, which, ironically, is where some of your worries stemmed from.

If you were this concerned over normal emotional experiences, then you can’t possibly be an inherently bad person. With all of the people who have used Yosuke and eventually threw him aside, you were also concerned that you were coming off as pitiful more than anything.

But you had known each other for about two years now, and the laughs that were shared between you were all genuine.

With all that you had done and what you had yet to do being considered, there was only one way to clear up how you felt about him, both for yourself as well as Yosuke. These thoughts were becoming unbearable on yourself, though on the greater than zero chance that Yosuke felt the same about you, similar was eating away at him as well.

You didn’t want him to suffer any more if that was ultimately the case. It was a chance that you were willing to take, and practically felt as if you had to at this point.

You didn’t think that you would make any significant headways today, but you still wanted to take some time to inch yourself ever closer to a confession.

How much closer could you possibly come to one at this point, though? There had been times where both of you had come dangerously close to letting the truth slip out, though you always stopped yourselves before the truth could be set free.

Regardless, the focus was Yosuke himself, not your personal feelings, so you grabbed your phone to text him a quick invitation for some more gaming later in the afternoon.

The temperature your room had felt incredibly warm, and so you opened the window to release some of the hot air. Outside wasn’t quite as warm as your room was yet, but with the amount of heat you set free, you could’ve sworn that you raised the temperature outside by a whole degree or two. The cool breeze that was blowing through felt refreshing, and so you enjoyed it while it lasted before the sun baked the air still. It was but a temporary break from the heat, but you could feel the fresh air clearing your mind and blowing your deepest worries away with the winds.

While you were taking in the cool breeze, you noticed a few purple petals drifting along the wind, some flying as far enough as to tickle your nose. It was then that you realized that perhaps everything was going to turn out all right for both you and Yosuke.

It was that time of the year when you grew a year older.

You had to be honest. You did not care much about your birthday. Even though it was a special moment, you never made it a big deal. In fact, throughout most of your life, you have never made it a celebration unless your friends and family had planned something extra. Therefore, the most you spent on your birthday was opening presents and maybe going out.

That was, until today.

At first, it started with you waking up to breakfast in bed. And yes, all of it was made by your boyfriend, Yosuke. You did not want to discredit him for his cooking skills. It was only the fact that he must have had to wake up early to make it. And he was one to only sleep in late whenever possible.

You were impressed by how full you felt after eating. But little did you know, that was only the beginning.

That was when Yosuke took you to Okina City, where you met up with the rest of the Investigation Team. You never thought you could have had this much fun on a day, but holy shit. It was a blast, especially in the shopping mall. Yosuke was spoiling you like you were royalty. Although you were concerned that his wallet would end up empty even before the end of the day (which surprisingly did not happen. But it almost did).

It was not as if you were not grateful for what your boyfriend and friends had planned. You were thankful for everything they did during the celebration! However, Yosuke had another surprise. After being told to close your eyes and open your palms, you felt something in your hands.

Opening your eyes, you swore your face had gone pale. It was two tickets to see (F/A). What shook you was that the concert was happening today, and Yosuke had bought them without your knowledge.

You had no words to describe how fun the concert was. All you knew was that it was one for the memory books.

The moment you walked into the bedroom, you rushed straight to the bed, collapsing onto it back first. Yosuke chuckled, placing almost all your gifts on the floor (Of course, he wanted to be extra and carry almost everything. You were worried that his arms would fall off from how much was in it). “Had a pretty busy day, right, babe?”

“Tell me about me,” you grinned. You slowly sat up. “But it was fun. I never expected to be spending my birthday like this. I can’t even believe you planned all of this out without my knowledge!”

“Well, you are my (s/o), so I gotta treat you like royalty on your birthday! But then again,” Yosuke sat down next to you, wrapping an arm around your shoulder and pulling you closer to him. “I have to treat you like royalty every day, regardless. I would be a pretty shitty boyfriend if I didn’t do that,” You felt yourself blushing as he turned to place a kiss on your cheek, but then you smiled.

“You’re the best. Do you know that? You made this one of the best birthdays of my life. Ever.”

Yosuke smiled softly. “I guess I did a good job planning your birthday, then!” He chuckled. “But anything for my baby.”

A few minutes of silence passed. During that time, Yosuke unreleased his arms from your waist, and you decided to check out your presents again. To say you were happy with what you received on your birthday was a bit of an understatement. All your friends knew you so well!

However, unbeknownst to you, Yosuke was staring at you with a nervous feeling crawling up inside him. He never thought he would be this nervous, especially since the day he asked you to be his (S/O). Yet, here it was, the butterflies in his stomach. He could almost feel his heartbeat increasing.

It was when you turned around to put your new (F/A/C) statue on the shelf (given to you by Yu) that Yosuke stood up. “Babe?” As you turned around to face him upon hearing your nickname, he found himself blushing. You tilted your head when he said nothing, and your boyfriend sighed. “Sorry. I..uh…”

Damn it, you better not chicken out! Just do it!

Yosuke internally grimaced at the voice in his head. Suddenly, it was almost as if you were fading away, and the only thing present was himself and his inner consciousness. Was he about to get into another argument with himself again?!

I will, but not now!

You got the perfect opportunity to do it, and you decide to back out?! Get on with it!

How can I when I’m nervous?!

THEN STOP BEING NERVOUS! I SWEAR TO GOD IF YOU FUCK THIS WHOLE THING UP–

“You good?”

Yosuke blinked at your voice. That was when he made eye contact with you, and Yosuke noticed a somewhat concerned look on your face. “Hon, you blanked out.”

The brown-haired man sighed and ran his hand through his hair. “Sorry, (N/N). I'm...nervous. I don't wanna mess up this surprise, you know? Especially not on your birthday.”

Your heart clenched, watching as Yosuke looked off to the side, not wanting to make eye contact with you. And at that point, you could sense his nervousness. If there was one thing you hated, it was your boyfriend being insecure and nervous. So you carefully placed your hand on his cheek, caressing his skin with your thumb, and that was when he looked back at you.

“Yosu, you could never do anything to mess up my surprises,” you cooed. “Haven’t you seen how well your surprises went on my birthday? I literally could not stop thinking about them! So whatever you have planned for me next, I’m ready for it. No matter how big or small it is.”

Seeing your smile and hearing the cute nickname you gave him shot a tang of happiness in his heart. God, you were just so cute!

With his anxiety almost fading away, Yosuke sighed again and cleared his throat. “Well then, I guess I’ll get on with it.” He started. He scratched his cheek with a finger before staring at you again. “(Y/N), I first need to ask you this question, and I want you to answer me as honestly as possible.”

You raised an eyebrow but nodded your head. “Got it. What’s up?”

Yosuke then looked straight into your eyes, but not in a creepy way. “Do you see yourself being with me forever? Like for the rest of your life until the day you die?”

You were taken aback by this question. It almost made you curious about the surprise, wanting to know about it now. But you knew this would not happen, so you might as well give Yosuke a reply. “I’m not lying when I say this, but yes,” A blush crept on your cheeks. “Considering how many years we have been together, you make me so happy, and without you, I dunno what to do. I don’t think I could have asked for a better boyfriend like you, not that I think I would ask for another one.”

God damn, Yosuke almost wanted to tear up. But not now.

“I’m glad you think so because I feel the same way,” Yosuke continued. “Honestly, sometimes I can’t help but be in disbelief that I’m dating someone as amazing as you. Despite some of the stupid things I did in the past or just how ridiculous I can be, you have never once thought of leaving me. You have always stayed by my side and helped me whenever needed. That is why I just had to ask you.”

This is it, me. No going back!

Yosuke almost felt like he was shaking when he slowly got down onto his knees, pulling out a small box. Your eyes widened at first at this action, but they widened even more as soon as he opened it. In it was a small golden ring. It sat there in front of you, showing off its beauty with the way it shone. Oh my God, you thought to yourself.

Feeling as though a tear was going to trickle down his cheek, Yosuke looked up at you and smiled softly. “(Y/N) (Y/L), will you stay with me for the rest of my life and marry me?”

An overwhelming feeling washed over you like the waves on the beach. You could not believe what was happening.

“W-Wait, are you serious?” you had to ask out of disbelief. “You want me to marry you?” You had to admit you had moments where you wanted to be married to your boyfriend before. But never have you thought of proposing to him or making him propose. If anything, this almost felt like a dream.

Yosuke chuckled. “Yes, babe. I’m being a hundred percent serious! More than anything in life, I want you to be my spouse. And I want to continue living with you for eternity. So what do you say?”

That was it. There was no holding back. Tears started forming in your eyes and immediately poured down your cheeks. “Yes,” you answered in a shaky voice as you nodded your head. “Yes, of course, I will marry you!”

Yosuke decided there was no other choice but to let his happy tears fall. He stood up on his feet and took your left hand, carefully placing the ring on your finger.

“G-God, Yosu, this ring is beautiful!” you gushed, looking at the finger. You have not done anything to it yet, but you were already starting to get scared that something would happen to it.

Your now-fiance chuckled. “I had to get it for the most beautiful person I know. And I’m glad I bought it. It looks perfect on you.”

The waterworks in your eyes kept on running, and you doubt they would stop anytime soon. You looked up at Yosuke with tear-stained vision. “This has been the best birthday ever. Not only did I spend it with the best people in my life, but now my long-time boyfriend is my fiance!”

“That proposal was the best present ever, am I right, baby?” Yosuke winked, poking your cheek.

“Damn right it was,” you grinned.

Then you placed your hands on his cheeks, pulling his face in for a kiss. There was no hesitation as he returned the kiss, wrapping his arms around your waist and pulling you close. At that moment, you and Yosuke felt like the only people in the world.

Pulling away, you looked up at Yosuke. “I love you so much, Yosu. So Goddamn much.”

Yosuke smiled softly, leaning forward so his forehead would be resting against yours. “And I love you so much too, (N/N). Happy birthday, baby.”

aaand before we end the fanfic, i have a message for you, nikki:

damn. you’re 26 now? just 4 more years until you’re 30, you old hag. LMAO JK JK.

but anyways, i hope you enjoyed this fanfic! i’m sorry i couldn’t actually buy you anything and then give it to you as an early present when i saw you last weekend. unfortunately, i couldn’t find anything good to give you, but i felt bad for nothing getting you anything, so i might as well write you another yosuke fic (don’t worry, hopefully by this christmas, i’ll find you something good hehe 😉).

Cuddling with their S/o headcanons pt.2

alr peeps who are even interested here's a part two with the rest of the playable cast excluding teddy cause who would date a inflatable looking teddy bear

For anyone looking for the first part with Naoto and Rise come get your food.

Warnings: Mentions of self image issues and Possible ooc but that's it

Story type: Fluff

Pairings/Characters: Yu Narukami, Yosuke Hanamura, Chie Satonaka, Yukiko Amagi, Kanji Tatsumi.

(if you all can tell i got more tired the more i wrote this no you can't-)

Yu is relatively neutral towards cuddles, he doesn't exactly love them but doesn't hate them either. Don't get him wrong he adores having you close and being able to hold you in his arms but physical touch isn't really his love language.

However he'll gladly cuddle you anytime you want cuddles, he enjoys seeing you happy and thinks it feels slightly nice to have you this close to him.

He won't do anything special like kiss your forehead or run his hands through your hair but instead will just wrap around you. Like he's trying to protect you from everything dangerous in this world.

Since cuddles aren't really his thing unlike most of the others if he's exhausted most of the time he'll just ask to lean on your shoulder while relaxing on a couch or something similar. He would more of prefer putting a movie on while drinking tea to relax.

The quirk i mentioned earlier of Yu basically wrapping himself around you makes for great and warm cuddles though, so basically like naoto's cuddles but easily warm through a different way.

Surprisingly Yu falls asleep incredibly easy and soon enough he'll be smiling in his sleep, clinging tight to you.

Yosuke

Yosuke in my mind is the pure definition of a loveable idiot and absolutely adores cuddles. He isn't embarrassed to show PDA in public and of his own accord will sometimes randomly grab your hand and show you affection infront of the rest of the group unprompted.

He's fine with being both the small and big spoon but heavily prefers being the big spoon more. He absolutely enjoys holding you in his arms and gets so excited about it that by the time you're cuddling he feels the need to shift postions every second.

After long days of fighting in the tv world or a long shift at junes whenever he's exhausted he flocks towards you. Whining about going home and cuddling. Even when exhausted he still usually is the big spoon, still mentally getting recharged no matter if he's being the one held or not.

However due to his self image issues every now and then the guy needs some comfort cuddles and needs to be the little spoon. It saddens you to see your partner looking down on himself again so kiss and cuddle those sad thoughts away!

Unlike the others Yosuke doesn't have some weird quirk with body temperature so it'll take the basic amount of time it takes for someone to get cold or warm while cuddling.

Yosuke funnily though will forget to take his headphones off, causing you to look up at him in confusion and giggle about it. Yosuke will nervously rub the back of his neck and remove the headphones, but happy this slight thing humored you. His arms tightly wrapped around you.

Chie

Chie is another one of the characters that don't like or dislike cuddles, however that's only normally with Chie. After meeting you she fell head over heals in love with you and slowly started loving cuddles and legit one time out of happiness jumped on you as soon as you suggested cuddling.

She's fine with being both the small and big spoon and doesn't have preference. No matter if she's holding you or you're holding her, she's happy just being with you.

Due to her experience in fighting and higher stamina then the other group members it's slightly harder to get her exhausted. Whenever she does though she doesn't immediately go to cuddling, she usually does self care things such as taking a shower or eating a snack before asking.

She'll take the sports jacket she usually wears off due to not wanting to overheat whenever cuddling as she builds body heat quickly like some of the others.

She sorta extra when it comes to cuddles as she'll litter kisses everywhere she can but definitely not as extra as rise.

While cuddling Chie feels completely relaxed and at peace, it's almost strange seeing the normally boisterous and energetic girl so quiet. But at the same time it's not the unnerving kind, it's the happy kind as a smile is almost on her face 100 percent of the time with her eyes close and arms tight around you.

Yukiko

Yukiko loves cuddles but not in the hyper way Chie, Yosuke, and Rise do. She more of views it as a nice and relaxing way to share affection with her partner and she's more then happy to do it.

She's fine with being both the big and small spoon and doesn't have a preference for either, she mostly just goes along with whatever you want to do unless she wants to play a specific role that day.

Her long black hair usually ends up over your shoulders or somewhere else as she's a bit of a restless sleeper and it's hard for her to get into a comfortable position so she shifts around a lot. Eventually when she does get into a comfortable position she's out like a light.

Unlike the others she's not incredibly busy outside of the tv world and her studies so she doesn't get as exhausted as the others but whenever she does if she feels it'll help she will politely ask to cuddle with you. Not soon after she'll be in your arms shifting around trying to find a comfortable position.

Before cuddling she usually changes into pajamas to be the most comfortable as she isn't bothered too much by heat and temperature in general.

Sometimes when she's already asleep she'll forget to take her headband off despite already being all dressed in pajamas, causing you to giggle silently as you either held her in your arms or she held you in hers.

Kanji

Kanji seems like he's a tough nut to crack, at first it seems like he dislikes cuddles but in reality he somewhat likes them. He likes being close to you and being able to hold you but isn't the best at admitting it.

When you do ease him into cuddling he's definitely a big spoon, he's basically never the small spoon and heavily prefers being the big spoon. If you do insist him being the small spoon he'll grumble about it but still let you spoon him.

He usually keeps his coats and stuff on while cuddling and sometimes wraps it around you, especially if you're still somehow cold.

He's larger compared to the other members of the group despite being younger then them so he's definitely the best to cuddle with out of sheer body weight and mass, he can completely encompass your body and make you warm in little less then 2 minutes.

Kanji is a master at knitting and has probably knitted blankets upon blankets that he'll gladly stack on top of you if you get incredibly cold. He isn't as busy as some of the others and spends most of his time doing his hobbies, so he doesn't get tired as often. But when he does he doesn't really mention anything about it unless you ask him about it.

Kanji doesn't fall asleep easy, so for most of the night he just holds you in his arms happily. Watching over you protectively.

Kanji

It takes some time for him to get used to. He's an intimidating guy so for someone to want to be touchy or affectionate with him, well, it's definitely a change of pace.

I don't think he minds something like handholding. But he might act a bit pouty if he's held or given kisses in public because it's a bit embarrassing. He's not embarrassed of you being his S/O, but he's embarrassed of others seeing him being held and stuff.

In private, he prefers being held over handholding. Just cause he likes to use his hands and make things. He'll gladly let you koala hug him if you want, so long as he can keep working on his sewing.

Yosuke

It's a bit for him to get used to with your affection. He likes it, but he's also just not used to being so openly affectionate. Would be okay with handholding and small gestures before he gets more adjusted.

With what happened with Saiki, I feel like Yosuke is also rather affectionate and clingy with you in private. Just because of that tiny voice in the back of his head not wanting to lose you and being afraid of not spending enough time with you.

Is a lot more shy about PDA than he lets on. Especially in front of his friend group. So if you are being clingy then he might be a bit of a flustered mess.

It’s heartbreaking to watch but you don’t press on his secrets- you know he’ll share what he wants when the time is right

So you continue to brush your fingers through his hair and you add on a few kisses to his forehead and his nose and his cheeks and his lips for good measure

And you tell him how much he means to you and to his family and to his friends

And how he’s not this cursed existence that he may think he is

You tell him that he deserves to be loved no matter what anyone else may say or think

And for the first time in the hours since he arrived at your house, you finally get a smile out of him

notes: gender-neutral reader, fluff, reader implied to be a part of the investigation team

yu narukami

kind of a classic romantic. starts with going out to a movie. will take you out to dinner and buy dessert. maybe even a quick trip to the hot springs to unwind before going home.

holds open doors for you and stuff (bc he's a GENTLEMAN!!!) and insists on paying when he can. but, if you really insist, he won't put up much of a fuss.

will stop on a walk to pet a cat he sees across the street. you join him (unless you're allergic in which he will carry some hand sanitiser on him at all times to wash his hands before going back to holding yours)

gives you a hug and kiss on the back of your hand before saying goodbye, but doesn't keep up the gentleman act seriously for long before bursting into giggles.

he's just a rlly sweet boy

yosuke hanamura

a bit less formal than yu, but still tries his best.

as much as he'd like to go all-out, taking you to the nicest places and spending the night dancing under the stars...... he's still just a part-time worker.

so he'll have to settle for something a bit more homey. buys all your favourite snacks and candy and invites you over to play video games with him.

does the thing where he sorta-spoons you (sits behind you, wraps his legs around your torso, and rests his chin on your head as you two play games). it makes him feel like The Man in the relationship, irregardless of your gender. you keep telling him he doesn't have to be this macho image of a strong, providing boyfriend, but he feels confident when he's the big spoon so yk, you go along with it

steals kisses whenever he can (usually to distract you from your game (bastard.)), but again, he's just too cute to get really mad at.

kanji tatsumi

cooks for you! he's actually a pretty decent cook (not as good as yu though) and along with cooking dinner, will probably have made something for you beforehand and gives it to you.

i imagine you and kanji would really be into stuff like journalling or colouring books. a date with kanji is Floor Time(tm) with some tv on in the background and doing a colouring date.

sometimes you'd do the thing where you put on a timer and after it goes off, swap drawings and finish what the other has drawn. kanji, despite being amazing at fabric arts, isn't the best artist. he tries his best though!!!!

sooner or later you'd probably end up cuddling with a mountain of plushies or other soft material while talking. such is life at the tatsumi household.

a/n: i had so much fun writing this! writing something silly and gaming related about my fav p4 boy? hell yeah!

"how many times in a row did you lose now~?"

you knew the answer to that question, but you couldn't help asking anyways, just to rile yosuke up a little. he always bragged about how good he was at super smash bros and yet you had beaten him again and again…

"oh shut up! next time i'll win for sure–!!"

yosuke's eyes were fixated on the tv, waiting for the next round to start, to prove to you that he could win against you. but he couldn't. at least not this round…

"that's one more loss for you~ don't you want to give up already?"

yosuke growled quietly at your mocking comment and whipped his head around to face you.

"i'll win next round, you'll see!"

and then he didn't win. again.

"oh, poor yosuke~"

you chuckled softly, while yosuke started the next round, too stubborn to stop now.

the round started and yosuke did his best to dodge your attacks and land a few hits himself.

"you want me to shut up? make me~!"

that comment of yours made yosuke whip his head around for a second, only for his character to get thrown off the stage while he wasn't looking. he quickly turned his head back to the tv and huffed.

"fine, i'll make you shut up then!"

now you were the one who got caught off guard, as yosuke leaned in. though while you turned towards your best friend, his eyes were still on the tv and now he managed to finally rid you of one of your lives!

"ha! you were careless! were you too excited about the idea of me fulfilling that promise~?"

yosuke laughed, while you glared at him.

"as if! i wouldn't kiss a loser like you! i bet you suck at kissing, too!"

"you might be good at smash bros, but i'm good at smashing my lips together with yours~!"

you couldn't help but let a laugh escape your lips at yosuke's terrible joke. it was almost as terrible as his fighting style was…

"oh yeah? you talk big, but i bet you haven't kissed anyone else before!"

yosuke's cheeks turned red, but luckily you were too focused on the screen to notice.

"as if you have! go on, tell me about your first kiss then, if you have sooo much more experience!"

your cheeks turned red as well, a flustered and yet angry look on your face.

"oh shut up!"

"make me~!"

all that build up frustration and tension got too much and before you even realized what you were doing, you had grabbed your best friend and pressed a kiss onto his lips, causing the boy to drop his controller in shock.

when you pulled away again, the game was still on in the background, but neither of you seemed in much of a hurry to go and land that final blow. it didn't seem to matter anymore who would win this fight…

"you… you suck at kissing! i knew it, you never kissed anyone before!"

yosuke was the first one to break the awkward silence, unable to stop laughing.

"you are the worst, yosuke! you're not any better, you know!?"

"guess so! maybe you should help me improve then~"

your cheeks turned red and you glared at your best friend.

"fine! seems like that's the only way to get you to shut up…"

“Megan, Scream, or IT?” You ask.

His face contorts into something akin to disgust. “Can’t we watch something not.. horror related?” He begs inquiries.

“What? You scared?” Your knowing smirk matches the confidence in your tone, since you know Yosuke won’t back down from a challenge.

“No! Let’s watch Scream. That ghost face face dude isn’t all that scary anyway!” Yosuke retorts, with his arms crossed across his chest in defiance.

“Alright then.” You triumphantly do a little cheer before you load up the movie. Yosuke makes his way over to you, sitting beside you on the couch. He doesn’t protest, but his bouncing leg betrays his calm demeanor.

Once the movie is loaded you sit beside him, and he’s quick to close any distance between the two of you. His leg continues to bounce, a bit more frantically now, as the movie begins.

You eye him worriedly, thinking maybe this isn’t the best idea after all. Before you can suggest a different movie his leg suddenly stops bouncing and you feel a weight drape over your shoulder.

You turn your head to see Yosuke’s arm draped across your shoulders, and a goofy smile makes itself apparent on your lips.

Maybe you were worried over nothing? He seems alright now, surely things will be fine.

“Oh my god oh my god no look oUT- AHHH!” Yosuke’s booming shout startles you more than the scene playing before you, and soon both of his arms are draped over you as he practically jumps in your lap.

You can’t help but snicker at the complete 180 this man’s attitude has done. Over the past half hour, he appeared to be unfazed and even enjoying the movie, a small smile on his lips as he watched the movie beside you.

Lo and behold, once the first “scary” moment occurred Yosuke’s facade crumbled to bits.

“Name, this is too much! Did you see the way he brutally- oh mY GOD!” Yosuke buries his face into the crook of your neck as loud shouts can be heard from the TV.

You tear your eyes away from the TV to look at Yosuke. His fluffy hair all but obscures your vision anyway, and a quiet sigh of resignation escapes your lips.

You gaze at his trembling form with the fondness and adoration of a lovesick fool.

You wordlessly change the movie, putting on some random trending show on Netflix instead of continuing the movie.

Yosuke takes awhile to notice, still trembling in your arms, so you wrap said arms around him and rest your head on top of his.

It isn’t long before your movie night transforms into a cuddle session.

Yosuke’s blissful sigh reaches your ears, and his body relaxes. Your fingers gently card through his fluffy head; his hair feels like the soft touch of a cloud against your fingertips.

“You okay now?” You can’t help but tease him. “Oh, shut up.” His grumbled reply only serves to make you smile.

He finally removes his face from your shoulder, and your heart lurches when his eyes immediately search for yours. “Sorry if I ruined our movie night..” Yosuke’s sheepish apology, coupled with his forlorn expression, elicits a coo out of you.

He’s so cute.

“You didn’t ruin anything Yosuke. Sorry, next time I’ll pick a movie I’m sure we can both enjoy.” His eyes widen in surprise at your thoughtful words. His mouth parts to reply, but your lips capture his before any sound can escape.

He’s startled, yet he wastes no time in returning your sweet kiss. Your eyes close as your fingers find purchase in his soft brown locks. You feel his arms wrap around you, pulling you into him as you share a pleasant kiss.

You pull back, but his lips are on yours once more.

Oh, how you adore the way his lips curl up against yours in a small smile.

You feel pure bliss and tranquility as you bask in Yosuke’s warm embrace. When you two part once again, Yosuke’s lips press against your nose, your cheek, and your forehead before they gravitate towards your mouth yet again.

Your body melts against his, and his arms gingerly cradle you against him. A monet passes before his lips regrettably leave yours, although your lungs thank you for the opportunity to breathe.

“If this is how all of our movie nights will go, we should do this more often.” His cheeky suggestion earns him another kiss to his inviting lips.
