☆ Madame Soliana was a very sweet and caring person. She cared about Johan and her husband very much, she felt like nothing could ever separate her from the love of her life and her precious baby boy. She would roam around very wealthy towns looking for little girls to teach astronomy to, and she was very successful and great at it!She was also very considerate as she would always understand and listen to what others say to her and she wouldn't talk about herself either. She was very dedicated in her work while also being an ambivert. She could also be intimidating at times, but most of the time she was the most loving, elegant, beautiful, and kind person you would've ever met.

TW// death and symptoms leading up to it

☆ Now to get into the depressing part of things: So remember how I said that she practiced spells for entertainment at times? Well, a lot of people in the town that she lived in saw this and thought it was witchcraft, and everyone subconsciously accused her of being a witch.

☆ One day, a citizen (most likely a cult member) had a plan to make her very ill. This cult member had a very sick person cough into a handkerchief and then when Soliana was asleep, the cult member smothered the handkerchief onto her face but softly enough so that it wouldn't wake her.

☆ The next day, she experienced chest pain, a fever, chills, fatigue, shortness of breath, and coughed up blood. These symptoms lasted for 3 months, which was revealed to be pneumonia. Since this was the medieval times there was no treatment for pneumonia, so this lasted for ANOTHER 3 months.

☆ Little Johan and Soliana's husband first started to notice how miserable she was in the first 3 weeks that she was ill. Her husband was constantly stressed and never left her side, and Johan would always cry because he was so upset that his mother wasn't getting better. Little Johan would always lay in Soliana's bed with her (even tho he knew she was severely ill). She would cradle him in her arms and coax him "Fear not, my sweet little angel... I will feel better before you even know it~"

☆ 6 months passed by since she fell ill, and Soliana's condition worsened and eventually developed sepsis. She would constantly feel dizzy, have a flushed face, shiver nonstop, mentally confused, delirious, and feel very sleepy as if her time on earth was almost over. Her organs also began to shut down and her skin was very discolored, which made little Johan cry even more. He just couldn't stand seeing his own mother in her dismal and luckless state <:( This also made her husband even more stressed than he already was, eventually leading to a manic disorder.

☆ When Johan was only 7 years old and the night showed its abundance of stars, he held onto his mother's hand and gave her a huge hug. Her last words to him were "Johan... you will always be my precious and perfect baby boy~ please continue to be as brave and courageous as you already are, will you?" As Soliana's soft lips closed, as well as her eyes, she was, well... gone. She went back up to her place in the sky as she crossed the rainbow bridge that night. Rip Madame Soliana, you will forever be missed. 😔☁️🌈💖

Aster TV Tropes

Warning, this tropes will contain spoilers for the future fanfic adaptation of The Cuphead Show done by @akluthor1998, @nataliepthatsme and myself. Please read with care and enjoy.

A young Aurora Sprigon and Kaichi’s potential girlfriend. Shockingly, the Devil originally created her to spy on the Dreamstones and to contain any information he could use against them or to lure them into a trap. Unfortunately for the Devil, Aster has a heart unlike the rest of his creations and she eventually turns against him and defects to the heroes as their closest friend.

Action Girl: While nowhere near the extant of any of the Dreamstones, Asteria does developed some Take a Level in Hardcore by using her magic against the baddies when push comes to shove.

Actually Pretty: She visibly smiled and muffled a giggle when Henchman promptly mentioned “Head!” when the Devil referred Cuphead as “that cup”, while responding in mild annoyance, “Thank you, Henchman!”

Adorable Evil Minion: Averted on the evil part since she’s more reluctant and has more morals than the Devil had let on, but Aster is still really cute.

All-Loving Hero:

Beauty Equals Goodness: By a Sprigon’s standards, she’s as purely good as she’s lovely.

Beauty is Never Tarnished: While the Devil’s twisted demonstration of Ms. Chalice turning into a pile of dust was unnecessarily graphic as Henchman would put it mildly, how Aster was erased was more tamed but more heartbreaking as she is turned into glass and slowly shatters into oblivion… in a devastated Kaichi’s no less, while still retaining her cuteness.

Because You Were Nice to Me:

Becoming the Mask: She truly came to enjoy the company of Kaichi, the five humans and the Cups, though she was still the Devil’s minion at the time before her Heel-Face Turn.

Beware the Nice One:

Blue is Heroic: She has Innocent Blue Eyes. The tips of her wing as well as her hair scrunchie ribbon are dark blue. Even her scarf is icy blue and she is among the good guys.

Concerning mushrooms, she certainly takes more after Katie.

She really doesn’t like anything overly spicy.

She can agree that pineapple pizza’s too weird.

Does This Remind You of Anything?: With his constant threats of unmaking Aster should she fail or defy him to the point of frightening her into submission, the Devil’s relationship with her screams Abusive Parents or legal guardian bullying and threatening the abused child to stay silent so they can easily elude suspicion of the authorities and social services.

Easily Forgiven: No one bare any grudges when she told them that the Devil made her and she was more reluctant than willing to go along with his schemes of using her as a spy. They also sympathised the fact that the Devil was cruel enough to threaten to unmake her should she either fail, question or even dare so defy him with the snap of his fingers.

Embarrassing Nickname: Implied. Her “sister”, Cyra calls her “cotton candy” based on the colour of her hair on certain occasions and visibly unamused by it,

Even the Loving Hero Has Hated Ones: As sweet as she is, even Aster can’t stand King Dice and Anubis coming onto Lexie and Natty. And the disdain also extends to the Devil, not just because of personal grudges but for all the times he tries to come in between Katie and Validor.

Aster was inspired by Smurfette from The Smurfs, thus the Devil being Aster’s Gargamel.

She was also inspired by the character, NiGHTS from the game, NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams. They are both characters associated with the night as well as stars, have pink and purple colours, have blue eyes and were created by the main antagonists, only to betray them and defect to the side of good for personal and very good reasons.

She might also have a bit of inspiration from Cynder from The Legend of Spyro Trilogy as they are both used by both the Big Bad against their will.

Extreme Doormat: She started out as this under the Devil’s command, reluctantly going along with his schemes to manipulate and lure the Dreamstones and Cup Brothers into his trap and easily submits by the threats of him erasing her out of existence as he easily had created her.

Flower Motifs: Is often associated with her namesakes.

Foil:

In some ways, Aster and Ms. Chalice are somewhat alike but still different from one another. They are both forced to betray their friends while the Devil blackmails and threatens them. Chalice. an orphan using her talents to charm the people into giving her free stuff to survive and she rashly made a deal with the Devil to give her the ability to switch between her ghost and living forms at will in return of a favour at a later date. While Aster was created by the Devil to be his spy.

Aster and Henchman are both the Token Good Teammate, are very nice in general, purple and display some Everyone Has Some Standards, however, while Henchman is completely loyal to the Devil, Aster pulls a Mistreatment-Induced Betrayal when the Devil pushed her to betray the Dreamstones and the Cup Brothers too far by constantly threatening to unmake her should she either fail or question him.

To King Dice, the only things close to what Aster can relate to is that they’re both associated with the colour purple and they both work for the Devil. But while Dice is loyal to the Devil and is a sleazy Smug Snake about it, Aster is a Nice Girl and is more reluctant and regretful of her role, terrified of the Devil’s constant threats to her existence.

Aster means “star” in Greek and her magic specialises in stars and auroras.

Aster is also the name of a flower and her she has some colours of some of her namesakes.

Mistreated-Induced Betrayal: Part of the motivation for her Heel-Face and Defection for Love. She had put up enough the Devil’s constant threats of erasing her and seeing her only as a tool of discord and deception for the heroes, thus putting her foot down and assisted the girls in rescuing Kaichi.

Ridiculously Cute Critter: Just look at her!

Rose-Haired Sweetie: She has a head full of long, rosy pink hair and she is as sweet as can be.

Ship Tease: With Kaichi. The girls imply that he obviously has a crush on Aster upon seeing him blush, which he hastily denies. Which is to be expected since they technically still kids.

Silk Hiding Steel: While she is cute and feminine, she can be mildly a Girly Girl with a Tomboy Streak as well as Hidden Depths such as she definitely bites the Devil’s hand to escape his grip. She also took a Level in Hardcore while under the Dreamstones’ wings.

Single Woman Seek Good Man: Her obvious attraction to Kaichi since their friendship had bloomed even before her defection.

The Six Ranger: Basically the second Sprigon and fifth Animal Companion.

Sweet Tooth: A shared trait in the Sprigon lore. She could certainly give Kaichi a run for his money.

Tears of Remorse: She had shed these when she remorsefully confessed to the Dreamstones about her backstory and how the Devil captured Kaichi. She also explains the Devil had made her and threatened to unmake her if she doesn’t do what he says. Luckily, the girls were more sympathetic and understanding.

Tender Tears: She can be just as emotional when upset.

Those Two Guys: She is rather close to Kaichi since they’re both only known Sprigons in existence.

Tomboyish Ponytail: Subverted. She wears her mane in a low ponytail and she’s a Girly Girl with a Tomboy Streak.

Took a Level in Hardcore:

Red velvet cookies.

She also enjoys strawberries.

True Blue Femininity: Her eyes, wing tips and accessories are blue and she is a Girly Girl.

An interesting thing related to things that annoy me in productions (Miracolous is an example, but there are other productions that make similar mistakes, mainly the older ones)

Bad writing annoys me the most but the other annoying theme is the status quo, Chloe pissed me off because it reminded me of something older productions did and it annoyed me so much

So you have an episode of the show where you think the character will become a better person later on, and then suddenly it turns out that this theme is in one episode, like the main character's dream, another reality, or the evil character got hit so hard in the head that her identity went to hell and therefore she was able to befriend the protagonist (Worst), possibly the motive that she was supposed to carry out some plan and she seems to become attached to the main character, and suddenly she makes new friends for the boss, who treats this character as an example of shit (Annoying)

Chloe's example is not the only one of its kind, e.g. in "Angelo la Débrouille" there was the character of this red-haired mean girl, and her uncle was this red-haired teacher, which is Tracy, in one episode there was a theme that they get to know her better and discover that she is quite a lonely and distrustful person, they make friends with her, only to find out at the very end that it is Angelo's own dream, it pissed me off so much

In the series "Monchhichi" (Yes, these toys have an animated series, quite specific and according to the Internet they had more series, which is interesting), but I'm talking about the 3D version, there was a lizard (There were two, context) and his boss told him to go to those monkeys to take something (I don't remember the plot anymore, I watched it without interest, because my niece actually watched it) so this guy hangs around with these monkeys and slowly befriends them, only to betray them at the end because the status quo must be maintained

There was also an episode of "Sabrina", an animated series about a young witch, although this mean girl was under a spell, but after its removal, at the very end, she showed something that indicated that she was not a bad person, unfortunately, do not count on development, it old cartoon series

There are probably more examples of this type, because I associate the series with "Disney XD" with a sloth who was driving a race car and his enemy was good because he got hit in the head, but then the main character didn't know about it, so they started to have a friendly relationship, then you know how it's over, it's so irritating, I'm not talking about still being affected by the tumor, but it could be an interesting development

Unfortunately, this also happens in the new ones, most of the ones I mentioned are more new productions, but mainly because it is more painful in the new ones

Okay, remember "The Smurfs"? Gargamel had a ginger nephew there, didn't he? Imagine that in one episode of "He made friends" with a fairy girl, unfortunately, it wasn't really friendship and it hurts a bit, because it would be nice to see this ginger kid get an existential crisis, unfortunately, the status quo must stay

I hate this lead and Chloe is a weird case because it lasted longer than one episode and it's even more irritating to me because we were given too much time for a redemption arc that didn't make sense in one episode it annoys me let alone in this case, when we were given too much time to accept its development, to get a rotten fish in the face after a long series

Another miracolous crime is lack of logic, more like self-contradiction, example of "Martha Speaks", more like my pick on or something like that, but Skits showed up after the shelter episode, right? Then explain to me one fact why these three puppies are still puppies? (Streak, Butterscotch and Mandarin)

These things have always annoyed me, even when I was a kid

A brief portrait of 3 (I dreamed of last night)

Gail:

When I got my first Kindle she set it up for me, so that I started out already loaded up with classics and at least a dozen Terry Pratchett books along with a batch of custom screensavers.

She also had her email set up for send-to-Kindle and through the years I would sometimes open it and find she had dropped something onto it from wherever she was across the world - Taiwan, Costa Rica.

Less than 3 months after she died we flew to Norway for my friend’s wedding. I was 6 months pregnant with Éowyn and the second stretch of the flight was 8 hours from Atlanta to Amsterdam, so I stretched out the best I could and broke out the Kindle.

For the first time instead of rereading favorites I had loaded myself I decided to finally explore some of the books and short stories I wasn’t familiar with- after all, Gail had shown me Bloodchild by Octavia Butler so she seemed to have had a good grasp on what I enjoyed.

I spent the next several hours crying and laughing alternately as I explored an involuntary portrait of her that was simultaneously poignant and comically on-the-nose.

The first Earthsea book I ever read, Tehanu, which includes themes about gender and how it affects magic and the expectations on peoples lives;

A series of short stories about bisexual polyamorous mages who become eco-terrorists and fight against prejudice and gentrification

A sci-fi short story from a universe where gender and genitalia are unrelated and people transfer penises back and forth when they have sex; unless I’m conflating two stories, this was also the one where the actual plot line was about a formerly passionately religious man deconstructing and then becoming an atheist, possibly by discovering that the religious raptures he had experienced were the result of psychostimulant compounds? OK, GAIL. WE GET IT. (Where do you find this stuff?)

Dr. James:

Talk about a man of contradictions.

He was a skilled veterinarian who had clients so loyal they traveled hours to see him at our practice.

He was a funny little old man who looked like Gargamel from the Smurfs.

He had a beautiful young blonde girlfriend who was clearly taking advantage of him.

He was a genius and a wily bastard who could take care of himself.

He constantly told me I should go to vet school because I was smart. He recommended me for a promotion.

I liked him, initially, because he liked me.

He loved smart women.

He hated women telling him what to do.

He thought Trump was a good businessman and was planning to vote for him.

He supported his lesbian daughter wholly and matter-of-factly.

He spent all his time on the phone talking to his divorce lawyer when he was supposed to be seeing clients.

One time I got so angry with him I slammed down a textbook, hard, on the surgery table while he was on his phone and yelled at him (me!!! Unconfrontational early 20s me!)

He had broken up his body so terribly skiing in his younger years that he was addicted to pain medications.

He stole multiple controlled substances from the safe, full knowing that as the one in charge of the logs I would be the one to take the fall once the discrepancies turned up.

When we reviewed the footage from the secret camera, I was the one who spotted the moment he slipped them into his pocket.

When I got the call from my boss, several months after he was fired, that he had shot himself in the bathtub, I was angry.

I didn’t think you were a coward, I said to him.

How could you do that to your daughters? I asked him. Why were you so selfish, at the last, to use a gun when you had drugs?

Why? I asked him.

He never would’ve answered anyway. He thought analyzing your feelings was nonsense for women.

My Grandfather, Raymond S

From my earliest memory of him Grandpa was hard of hearing and wore a hearing aid that whistled when you got too close to it.

He noticed my floppy laces when I was a teen and taught me, after years of improperly tying my laces, the difference between a grannie knot and a square knot.

He handmade wooden puzzles.

When we briefly had an organ at our house he would play it when he visited. When our dad bought an accordion on a whim he picked it up and played us the Costa Rican national anthem.

I picture him as made of squares, like a Minecraft character. Rectangular trouser legs. Square short-sleeve buttondowns, often with square patterns, tucked squarely in at the waist. Square little chin with his funny little square goatee and square mustache (apparently this was an affectation of his own that was completely unrelated to style norms around him). Square glasses. Squarely combed hair.

Once, during a visit when I was in college, he found a book at the linguistics library across the street and borrowed my library card to access it. Because he was learning German, in his 90s. He found out my best friend at school was from Germany and wrote me a list of grammatical questions for her, in his tremulous writing.

Once, shortly before my wedding, he drew me close and told me in a deaf whisper that was completely audible to everyone in the room, that I had secretly always been his favorite grandchild.

After he died I was talking with Grandma and mentioned that I had never seen him anywhere close to angry. She thought for a moment and then told me that in 70(?) years of marriage the only occasion she could think of was once when, after a long an arduous day in which nothing would go right and every possibly frustration was thrown in their path, he said to her quite calmly “I would like to go to bed now”.

why is the cook italian. this smurf should be french not italian have you seen the food he cooks.

why is there a scottish smurf. is it a us thing because they think funny accents are always needed in kid comedy.

oh yeah also i get more drama like that, but gargamel does not want to get smurfs for unlimited power, he just wants them to make gold, which is already evil enough because he's ready to kill an innocent creature for greed. like why does he want unlimited power. To get control of kingdoms i suppose? but if such a recipe existed, then all wizards would want smurfs. meanwhile only gargamel really wants them, because he wants gold and it's one of the ways to get gold and he lives close to a village so it's the easiest one. idk it's just annoying the movie changed gargamel's goal with the smurfs. but then i guess an american movie might prefer vague unrealistic goal like "infinte power" to "gets really rich". or really anything than "the bad guy is bad because he wants to become extremely rich to the detriment of others". i mean that one must not feel like high stake enough.

gotta admit it's fun that the smurfs exist as characters of fiction in that universe

patrick, read up on your smurf lore, their name is given when they show a certain aspect of their personality. it can even change following what they decide to do

"pale giant"... why does the scottish smurf acts as if he never saw a human before.

the smurfette feels too. fleur bleue. like yeah she's ~a girl~ in the comics, but she's too much like an innocent shy little girl in that movie

ok so the scene where she taunts gargamel at the toy store was already more in line with what i expect of a smurfette

girl they didn't really chose you, they fell in a dude's bag who turned out to be your husband's

oh no this movie cant have just made me want to imagine a characters react to their story with the smurfs

oh ok there is both the italian chef and the cook it seems. why.

the narrator smurf is a great idea. he's canon in the comics to me. he and the poet are having fun writing session every Tuesday

Thinking about this Sugar Loaf 1998 Halloween Humanoid Monster Plush and how unique this plush is. I like it's claws that this plush has and it's uncanny valley smile this plush has. This plush looks like a scientist to me. I just don't like the shoes it has since it could do that material peeling thing that old sonic plushies do.

Keiko Iwao (My Hanna-Barbera Cinematic Universe OC)

Name: Keiko Iwao

Age: 13, later 14

Occupation: Professor Pat Pending’s student assistant

Weapons: modern technology, mythology, ski poles

Backstory: Born in Little Tokyo, California to Suyin and Hiroshi Iwao, Keiko was happy as any child can be. When she just turned ten on a cold November (the following week), Keiko and her parents went to a ballet in New York City but upon leaving the theatre, a horrid snow storm appeared and despite Hiroshi’s cautious driving, their car crashed into the woods. Keiko survived, but her parents were gone. Now, Keiko lives with her aunt Miyuki and uncle Jiro Chirko, studying with Professor Pat Pending.

Personality: As her own parents died, Keiko is worried that the people she connects with will be gone the second she blinks, so she is mostly spends time with her dog, Bijou (My other HBCU OC) at malls or the tranquility of the forest. She keeps her mother’s necklace from childhood, unknowingly by her made by a young Dick Dastardly as his only gift of love before turning to a life of crime.

Keiko is friendly, street-smart, helpful, book smart, and even motherly in heart, but her insecurity and tragic past makes her shy and lonely. She is engrossed in modern technology but is very sweet to animals from the tall to the small.

Keiko may seem like a strong willed girl but is easily a damsel in destress: if she is about to fall off a breaking bridge or needs a help (for example, to save her from monsters), someone close will come to her rescue. She knows all elements in both modern and ancient history. Despite her fragility, Keiko can be very acrobatic and uses her ski poles to swing her body over anything from ice to stone.

Inspiration:

Her last name comes from Hanna Barbera artist Iwao Takamoto.

Pocahontas (Disney): They have connection with and hold the knowledge of nature and have necklaces of their mothers.

Jane (Return to Neverland): They both wear sweaters over their night gowns.

Tabitha Templeton (Boss Baby: Family Business): both are scientific, intelligent students

Dorothy Gale (The Wizard of Oz): both are girls who are easily frightened and tend to cry.

Tarzan (Disney): Keiko’s athletics and speed

Densia (Hanna Barbera Smurfs): Keiko is loosely based on Densia, both black haired girls who hang out with main villains (Densia with Gargamel, Keiko with Dastardly) but friends with his enemies (Densia with Smurfs, Keiko with the other Wacky Racers).

Role in Hanna Barbera Cinematic Universe:

Keiko chases her scarf while playing ice skating, which heads up in Dastardly’s airship version of the Mean Machine, discovering Dastardly’s soft side. Caught by the surprised Dastardly, who is angry with Muttley for not returning with motor oil for their ship, she runs away in fear and unwittingly reminds Dastardly of an old childhood friend who tragically died. Then by the third encounter, they spark a new friendship and Dastardly treats her with respect due to his constant reminder of her resemblance to his deceased childhood friend. However, he isn’t aware of Keiko is Suyin’s daughter as she isn’t aware of her mother’s friendship with Dick. Dastardly thought Suyin (or Su as he called her when they were kids) died when she fell in a frozen lake. He was a young teen and she was four or five, they had a close bond. When he tried to rescue Su, Dastardly thought he was too late and didn’t see if she was okay due to the cruelty of his father, who threatened both Dastardly and his brother, the Dread Baron until their mom stepped up and took the boys away out of fear. But Su did survive, thanks to the necklace he gave her, only lost hearing in her right ear. They never saw each other again. But Keiko does remind Dastardly of her mom, but they do not know the truth until later on.

Muttley immediately liked Keiko before Dastardly’s first meeting with her, and the feeling is mutual.

The Wacky Racers, especially Professor Pat Pending, Peter Perfect and Penelope Pitstop, are happy upon learning Dastardly and Keiko’s newfound friendship, and they do their best to unite the two loving lonely hearts. Keiko loves Peter and Penelope like parental figures.

Hanna-Barbera series

1960s to 1980s Voice: Lucille Bliss (the original Smurfette voice)/Katie Leigh (Densia voice)

2020s Voice: Probably have any newcomer Japanese-American actress should voice Keiko.

Trivia:

Keiko is presented here as if she would be in Disney series, despite being a Hanna-Barbera OC.

The official Butterverse Villain/Bad dude Guide, ranging all the way from Evil to Chaotic Neutral!

Evil

Clockwork Handy

Pure, unfiltered evil. His only goal in life is to seek revenge on the Smurfs – something originally programmed into him by his creator, Gargamel. This turned into his own madness when he was thrown off a precipice by Handy Smurf, whose image he’d been created in. The fall broke his duplication crystal and therefore rewired him to become sentient, but he was upset at having been ‘defeated’ by Handy and swore revenge. As a non-organic creature, he feels he has no other purpose than to achieve this goal, and therefore doesn’t seek out any alternatives or attempts to get a hobby of any kind. Despite this he’s not a boring villain, as he does have potential to cause serious harm and is not comedic. Things get extra spicy in Chaos AU when he convinces Clumsy to join him.

Lyra

Sweefess who seeks to take over the Smurf Village for herself, as she believes it’s her divine right to rule after being forced to flee from her original home place in which she was royalty. Serves as an ‘alien invasion’ threat, but is usually defeated. Is less of a threat and more comedic than CH since her plans for village domination often fall through. More bark than bite, but her sheer spite is motivated in the direction of causing actual harm and enslaving the Smurfs so. Still a bad gal.

SmurfSapphire

Her motives were only really directed at a couple of characters, so on the lower end of evil. She did however mind control and manipulate Handy into falling in love with her, and attempted to ‘get Clumsy out of the picture’ so he wouldn’t break the spell. Plus she’s a pretty terrible friend to SmurfRuby. Overall not the WORST villain and definitely has room for a redemption arc … Or possibly an even further corruption arc, for fun.

Middle Ground

Mercator

He’s kind of slap bang in the middle because whilst he technically does evil-demon deals he’s actually ... a kind of alright guy? Family man, loves his wife and daughter. Sure he COULD do weird fucked up things but only if provoked. Honestly despite almost buying Crescendo at one point he’s honestly getting along just fine with Harmony these days. They’d probably call each other friends despite Mercator’s questionable habit of flirting with him. You know stealing souls and firstborns is just business, don’t take it personally. That’s not to say he wouldn’t try to steal souls from anyone else, though so don’t think he’s a total pushover.

Cadence

Kind of the same deal as Mercator, yeah technically she’s taking unfair and unreasonable demands as her payment but really it’s just business. If you leave her alone she’ll leave you alone. But that doesn’t make her demands for certain payment less messed up.

Chaotic Neutral

Julian

He might look pathetic but don’t be fooled, this is Tailor Smurf’s abusive ex-boyfriend. He was a hot-shot jock type as a teen and basically manipulated Tailor into a relationship for free clothes and attention. The kind of dude that would expect to be showered with gifts and affection and intimacy and then give absolutely nothing back in return. Not evil by others standards, but only out for himself and a massive jerk even so. He gets his comeuppance twice – the first when he’s slapped by Tailor for insulting Farmer and the second when he meets a young Diligent and Sower and Tailor finally tells him where to stick his ice skates after all these years.

Moira

The most morally grey on here. A con artist and thief, Moira has made her business in the black market trade of exotic and magical animals – with a catch. She seldom sells the ACTUAL rarities. Instead, she’s something of an undercover conservationist. She desires to keep these for herself where possible, and often tricks and deceives buyers into false commodities (stick a couple o’ twigs tae a bunny and voila, a genuine jackalope, laddie) So really she’s only conning bad guys and not innocent ones to begin with. That being said she’s still a thief, stealing from her ex Kheprii and attempting to steal Don Smurfo’s golden eagle. Has a huge chance of redemption since she’s in love with Don’s adopted daughter Quixotic, so her morally grey personality and con artist lifestyle is likely to become a thing of the past.

Kheprii

Doesn’t really suit the villain title but that’s why she’s right on the end of chaotic neutral, because I’ve decided the fight scene from my dream is now canon. A divine guardian of an ancient Egyptian tomb, Kheprii is a protector, a deity, well respected, and has a good sense of humour. That being said you don’t want to piss her off, which her ex Moira often does. Kheprii does not take kindly to thievery and upon discovering such acts, wouldn’t hesitate to go head to head with anyone – including the Smurfs – to retrieve what rightfully belongs to her. So in a sense yes, she’d hurt people, but not unprovoked. Really, give her stuff back and she’ll leave you alone. Still … she is pretty badass and you wouldn’t want to invoke her wrath.
