An update about my fic writing.

So to any of you that still follow me for my fic writing please know I've decided to give up writing and posting.

The truth is that interaction here has now become so low that it really isn't worth the time and effort it takes to write, edit and post. I write for me, I post it for you guys but at the end of the day when I get absolutely no interaction other than people hitting the like button and moving on, it makes me feel bad about myself. My thoughts are always that clearly it wasn't good enough otherwise people would say they enjoyed it, or it made them feel something, or anything. I, like most writers here, pour our heart, soul and our free time into fic writing, and it's sad to scream into the void and honestly just makes me feel bad about myself. I just can't sit around feeling like I'm not good enough anymore.

I have very little free time on my hands and I love writing, it's a huge outlet for me, but posting here is just not worth the sad it brings me now.

To those of you that have outstanding requests with me I can only apologise and offer to pass your requests to some of the best fanfic authors I know who will do them justice.

My Tumblr will stay open, my master list will stay posted, I just will no longer be adding to it.

Thank you to all of you who have supported and interacted with my writing this far.

I’d like to think all the other teachers at Aguefort hate Bobby Dawn’s ass immediately.

Porter is giving him death glares in the staff room. Tiberia doesn’t even acknowledge him whenever he’s in her line of sight. Lucilla, who is usually so kind, gives him side eyes in the hall, cuz bard classes are so gay and he’s homophobic. Jace avoids talking to him at all costs despite technically being the only person Bobby can go to for questions about the job. Henry seems more timid but even he is clearly upset at at this man’s general existence. And those are the ones who aren’t even openly hostile.

Zara only does night classes but whenever she does sees him she hisses. No one’s ever seen Terpsichore angry, but they have now. He made some of the younger queer students cry and Jawbone yells at him in full view of the student body. Corsica is so so close to beating this man up. They all miss Yolanda

Idk why people think it's funny to buy shit from shien or temu or whatever slavery-corp is popular at the time just to video themselves laughing at the quality of the products. It's badly made because it's unrelentingly shoved through a production line for a few pennies each garment- this isn't fucking "content" and honestly these rich influencers should feel ashamed to openly admit that they're buying from companies that force their workers into slavery conditions.

I like the idea that Arthur was named because his act had him titled "THE GRAND KING ARTHUR" or something cheesy like that while Zara's name came from her original owner.

For any other animals, I like the idea of them all having more abstract names like things in nature or animal calls so it's very obvious Arthur and Zara are human handled. Or if any other animals they run into also happened to have been handled by humans.

Also it saves me from giving a cool name to an animal character only to later on down the line want to name a humanoid OC in one of my other stories the same thing.

And Leah is Energy

And yes technically Leah has multiple powers as she is Lloyd's biological daughter so she is also part oni and dragon like Lloyd and therefore also has oni power in her

On topic of elemental powers, all five of them sometimes can’t control their own element when feeling a strong emotion

Like K.J. for example, which should be obvious, is when he is really angry. He is the type of person you should never get real mad or you will regret it

Jason I imagine his power to most likely get out of control when he is super excited about something. And yes it happend a couple of times that he caused a power outage in the monastery because of it

For Zara it happens when she is panicking. She is like frozen still, literally, and the ground would freeze underneath her

Colton it will most likely happen when he is scared

And for Leah it would be her oni power getting out of control more then her elemental power

So besides Nem, I've got a couple of character ideas floating around my head that I wanna play with at some point:

Zara, the Half-Orc Rogue, Criminal; orphaned after a bandit raid on her home village, Zara found herself on the streets of Baldur's Gate. She fell in with Nemeia, a young tiefling, and the two worked together to survive. While Nem took to salvaging and busking, Zara took to thieving and picking the pockets of Nem's audiences. She even found work with a fence and began to expand her activities, becoming a skilled and respected thief.

Lorelai, Half-Drow Warlock, Criminal; born from a liason between a Drow Matron and an Unseelie Archfey, Lorelai was raised to be an assassin in service to her family. Instead, she escaped with the help of her father, abducted her newborn half-sister, and fled the Underdark for the surface, where she met a powerful crime lord who agreed to help hide the baby in exchange for Lorelai's services as an agent. She's technically supposed to be a Rogue who multiclasses into a Warlock, but I'm gonna do it the other way around on account of Zara.

Unnamed Dragonborn Paladin, Acolyte; they were hatched into an abbey of their god - I haven't decided who yet - which was raided by a band of adventurers who sought the abbey's treasure. Their mentor/parental figure was slain in the attack, and they swore an oath of vengeance against the band. They set out in pursuit but have yet to track them down.

There's a few other things I want to try out, like a Githyanki, a Cleric of Selune, a Monk, any of the shorter races, and ofc the Dark Urge but these are my more solid ideas so far

Two things

I wish I could draw Zara in a meme format with the words arson in big letters.

And Bo is very much punk. It's just that Real Life Horrors ( working retail, literally doing bounty hunting for cursed artifacts, taxes, etc) got him down bad. His wardrobe is pretty much tee shirts that seem too tight ( to the bane of Zara's existence, no one will leave her alone because of it), and baggy jeans. Zara's style was actually inspired by Bo! He was always an alt kid, and Zara grew up loving his clothes. She even wears some of Bo's old stuff :)
