<< Part 1 - Soft Spot

“Bucky! What did you do?” You look at your boyfriend. Men came to his house, carrying heavy boxes inside the library next to his office.

His father used the room to impress his business partners with all the expensive books he bought over the years. However, Bucky turned the library into your second favorite place.

Your favorite place is right next to him.

“I bought a few more books,” he wraps his arm around your shoulders. “I think we need to expand the library. Maybe we can break through a wall and use one of the spare guestrooms.”

“Bucky, it’s too much,” you say. Your eyes are glued to the books the men unpack. “Oh my god! Did you buy a whole library?”

You gasp as more men with more boxes walk past you and Bucky. “All for my girl,” he whispers in your ear. Bucky softly pecks your cheek as you stand next to him. Speechless.

Your heart wants to burst. Every gesture and every word tells you how much you mean to the man by your side.

“We should leave them to their job, doll. Let's look at the books later.”

A few hours later Bucky sits in the library, in one of the old armchairs you found in an antique shop. You are on his lap, snuggled into his chest as he reads you one of your favorite books.

“How was your day?" you softly ask. “Did Stark agree to the deal? He’s a stubborn man, isn’t he?”

“I know you’ll make a perfect queen,” Bucky wraps his arm a little tighter around your body. He sighs deeply, wishing his business wasn’t part of your life now. If only he could give up on business and run away with you.

“Do you sometimes wish I was someone else?” you ask. “You know, an insider. A woman who grew up in your world.”

“No!” Bucky drops the book as you look at him with teary eyes. “Where is this coming from, Y/N? You are the one for me. I don’t want anyone else.”

“I heard your men talk. They told you that I’m your weak spot and a liability. That I will get you killed one day,” you choke on your words. “I don’t want you to die because of me. I love you too much.”

“Doll, I won’t get killed,” he drops the book to wrap both arms around your trembling body. “No one will dare get between us. You are the only woman I want. No one compares to you. I love you more than anything in my life.”

You hide your face in his neck to inhale his cologne. Bucky always smells good. “I love the books and the library.”

“It’s the least I could do after you quit your job for me,” he replies softly. “Did you think about my offer?”

You giggle.

Bucky asked you to become his sexy kitten and offered belly rubs as payment last week. "Sir, I am considering your offer.”

“Hmm…good…that’s good.”

He gently runs his hand over your head, patting you. “I didn’t quit my job for you. I left because I couldn’t work with people harassing the man I love.”

Bucky doesn’t tell you this is the same thing. He smiles and enjoys having you in his arms. All he wants is you by his side for the rest of his life.

“You better pick that book back up, Sir,” you lift your head to look Bucky in the eyes. “I won’t accept violence against books in this house.”

He grins at your words and says, “Baby doll, I promise to protect the books too. No one will touch them. I swear.”

"You are a great man," you say while snuggling into his chest and closing your eyes. “My protective and strong boyfriend.”

“My sweet and caring girlfriend,” he says as you softly whisper his name. “I’ll burn the world for you…”

Hey! First of all let me start by saying that I LOVE your writing (one shots? Im not familiar with fanfic terms lol), everytime I see you answering an ask and is under read more? Fuck yeah! Im eating well tonight!!! (That being said dont feel obligated to answer this like that lol)

I was just thinking about Water 7 (because us Usopp girlies/gender neutral/ are never leaving that arc down) and the fact that after getting beat up Usopp is shown to have bandages all over his body, but later when he heals he doesnt seem to have any scars, and in the sense of the show it makes sense, but 👀 i feel theres lots of angst potential for him to have some scarring from his time against the Franky Family, after all Chopper only treated him at first, the rest of the wounds care was done by Usopp. I feel theres great Usopp angst potential in seeing these scars as shameful because they keep reminding him of his actions in water 7, Franky angst because every time he sees those scars he remembers a beat up Usopp, hell angst for the whole crew remembering their darkest time as a crew

And if we want to make it ZoLuSanUso (because of course were going to!!) angst of their little breakup arc and how they couldnt protect usopp at that moment 😭

Aaah I’m so happy you enjoy my writing! I honestly hadn’t planned on writing anything for this fandom because whenever I enter a new fandom I prefer posting art and even though I enjoy writing a little here and there much like my art/fandom art in general they are just snippets of a larger story lol. Which is something you can get away with drawing but not writing. I wish I could write a full fledged slowburn for the ot4 god that would be the dream but executing something like that well is a lot of work and I’m weak of spirit I’m afraid😩 that being said I did write a little something inspired by my latest ot4 drawing(and isn’t that a beautiful circle being inspired to draw and being inspired to write by your own drawing as you draw lol) I just need to edit it and I’ll post it tomorrow(and yeah they’re called oneshots😊) just seeing your nice message inspired me to work on it some more so that’s why it took me a bit to answer(also it takes me longer to see asks because I have notifications turned off lol)

And ah water 7 best arc and anyone who says otherwise is just weak. The first and only time we saw interpersonal conflict that mattered where everyone was so wrong and also right. Sorta wishing we get the same level intercrew conflict in elbaf but with the way the story is going it’s not likely but I can dream. anyways water 7. God the thought of them already dating during that arc is so angsty even for Me. While lu/sopp and san/uso sides are already heartbreaking on their own (and lu/san! he literally kicked him in the face and told him to watch his mouth😭 honestly I don’t think Sanji would forgiven Luffy or Zoro if Usopp really left the crew there’s no way for things to be normal after all that or even Usopp for going through with it tbh) but ugh just zo/sopp is so much worse. Just having to hear him say that they should leave him if he doesn’t apologize even though Usopp wasn’t the only one at fault no you know what even if he was entirely at fault hearing that would not be okay. To hear someone you love say that would be heartbreaking😭. From then on you even after you patch things up you would be constantly watching yourself trying not to be too much trouble or make any mistakes. I have fallen down a ravenous hole I need to get UP. So yeah I don’t like to think about them dating before w7 because it all becomes a little too terrible and I would just die but I shall indulge you just a bit.

But yeah Luffy waking up sweats in the middle to make sure Usopp’s still there. Zoro would be just be touching Usopp and finding all these scars that never used to be there and get a bad taste in his mouth. I think if Sanji hears any of the other two raise their voice he’ll just have flashbacks and go into protective mode even though they are his boyfriends too and he’s supposed to also love them and he can’t have favorites but there’s no way to erase the past and what happened. So Sanji will just feel that much more terrible and unworthy (he never used to feel deserving before but now it’s just compounded three fold). Water 7 has left a lot of scars.

They may not all be physical but they’re so much worse. They’re going to be forever hunted by past mistakes of how they almost lost him because they were stupid and not there when he needed them most and as a result they’re going to overcompensate and become overprotective which just leads to Usopp feeling even more useless. It’s a vicious cycle until something finally gives and they have another fight where all their stupid insecurities come to light and they mend things. They try to be better moving forward but they’re just humans and there’s no way they can just fix things overnight. But they try and that’s all that matters.

I don’t think Franky will ever forget what happened and what he had to someone that has become so precious to him. And the fact that Usopp forgave him so easily just makes it so much worse. It’s easier to deal with anger because then you can at least apologize and work to earn their forgiveness. But no he does not get that. Instead he has to see the person he hurt look up to him and admire him and love him which just makes all the shitty things he did so much worse. And to have left permanent scarring because of what he has done oh boy. To have a constant reminder of just how terrible you can be. Yeah he won’t ever forget it. And no amount of good he does will ever erase those scars so how could he possibly forgive himself.

“You see,” Steve dips his head to look at someone behind Nick’s back, “I’m mad as hell at Bucky for fucking Y/N over, but…”

“He likes me more,” Bucky chuckles darkly. He’s back to his cold-blooded self. The side of him he tried to hide from you most of the time. Now he has no reason to hold back anymore. “I came here to give you the chance to leave my town because Mother loved you dearly. If not, you’d be dead already.”

“I don’t care what’s going on in your fucked up head, but you will stay out of my sight and away from Y/N.” Steve unlocks his gun hidden under the table. If Nick doesn’t give in, he will kill him. Right here, in his favorite restaurant.

“Why would I do such a thing?” Nick doesn’t even blink when Bucky presses his gun to his brother’s back. “Y/N is such a lively and lovely woman. I’d like to have a piece of her myself.”

“Last warning, Fowler. You will leave town tonight.”

“Brother, you should tell your friend that threats won’t work. You can beat, shoot, or stab me. I will simply get back up to have a taste of Y/N.”

Steve shakes his head. “You were right, Buck. He’s fucked in the head.”

“I told you so, Steve,” Bucky unlocks his gun. “We can end his life here and now. I’m done with following stupid plans. Everyone in this town knows who I am and what I’m capable of. They simply forgot that Y/N kept my dark side under control.”

“Well, fuck me,” Nick laughs loudly. “Do you think she will come crawling back if you shed my blood? I don’t think so.”

Bucky looks around the restaurant. Only a few customers are around. If he kills his brother now, he must kill them all. “Pay for your food. Get up and follow us outside.”

“If you want to kill me, dear brother,” Nick grins wolfishly at Steve, “you must do it right here and now. I guarantee that if you don’t plant a bullet in my brain tonight, I’ll have your wife by my side tomorrow.”

Steve fights a battle in his mind. He must protect you at all costs but will not harm innocent bystanders. “Buck.”

“No backing down now, Steve. I won’t let that bastard get anywhere near Y/N.”

“We won't be able to-" Steve stutters suddenly. His jaw drops as he watches Natasha walk toward the table.

“Gentlemen, what a pleasant surprise,” she laughs lightly. “Don’t make such a face, Steve.” She smiles sweetly as Steve stares at her in disbelief. “Nick didn’t tell me you are joining us for dinner.”

Steve secures his gun and says, “Buck.” He can see it in Bucky’s eyes. His friend is one heartbeat away from jumping over the table to strangle Natasha. “Don’t. We have company.”

Bucky secures his gun. “I know. My brother is not man enough to come alone and face the consequences of his wrongdoings. We will get him soon enough.”

“Romanoff and Fowler?” Lloyd throws his phone at one of the wall monitors. The monitor cracks and starts to flicker. “Are you fucking with me, my nerdy friend? Is this some sick freak show we are watching?”

“Lloyd, you wanted me to bug his place,” Jake grunts. “I did my job. It’s not my fault Romanoff is part of Fowler’s plan to bring Barnes down.”

“Maybe that’s not your fault. But forcing me to watch that red-headed bitch on that asshole’s dick is another story." Lloyd throws his hands up. “How hard can it be to fuck her, Fowler? She’s a frigid bitch. Just slap her ass three times and she creams all over your wiener.”

Jake groans. “Lloyd, not so loud. We don’t want Y/N to know Romanoff fucked both brothers. Barnes did enough.”

“Why? Y/N doesn’t give a shit about Fowler.”

“Y/N loved her husband. If she finds his spitting image in the same woman’s arms Y/N will be devastated. It doesn’t matter Fowler means nothing to her. She will believe every man wants to dick that woman down.”

“Well, I don’t want to fuck that skank,” Lloyd tuts. “I don’t go for treacherous and slutty. I mean, being slutty is not bad.”

Jake retches. “Please for the love of fuck, don’t tell me about your sex life. I’m begging you.”

Lloyd runs his index finger and thumb over his mustache. “You’d love to hear about my conquests. Women moan my name and men, they…” He clears his throat. “Never mind. Let’s see if we can find out more about Fowler’s plans.”

“Men?” Jake quirks a brow. “Wait…you walked in on me more than once, Hansen!”

“…and I didn’t enjoy it one bit.”

Lloyd turns his attention back to the monitors. He hums as Fowler talks about their plans to take over Bucky’s empire. “BORING.” 

“Wait…this could…they worked together before Barnes cheated on Y/N. Oh fuck, they planned all of this. What do we do now? Lloyd, stop staring holes into the air. We got sixty minutes before Y/N will call us for dinner.”

“I don’t know about you, but I got plans tonight…”

“Steve, don’t you have something better to do than babysit me?” You watch Steve sit down next to you on the couch. “Maybe you should go out and have a date or something.”

“I don’t want to.”

“Sex is essential, you know.”

Steve chokes on his spit at your words. “What do you mean? I-I’m not like Hansen and talk about sex and his dick all the time.”

“You look lonely,” you lean your head against his shoulder and pat his thigh. “Steve Rogers deserves happiness too.”

“Y/N, someone in my bed is not enough for me. I want more. A foundation…a relationship. I want what y-“ He bites his tongue.

“You want what Bucky and I had?” you hum. “It wasn’t enough, Stevie. I wasn’t enough. Whatever we had didn’t work out. A long time ago I believed it would always be Bucky and I against the world. I was wrong, though.”

“I saw you first, you know,” Steve whispers as you put your head on his lap. He gently runs his hand over your head, massaging your scalp. “I imagined marrying you one day. Bucky asked you out first. I missed my chance.”

“What the fuck do you want to do, Hansen?” Natasha sneers as she looks at the gun aimed at her head. “None of you pussies are man enough to kill me. Not Rogers. Not Bucky.”

Lloyd smirks darkly. His blue eyes sparkle as he sees fear in Natasha’s eyes. He knows fear. Most of the time he’s the reason for people’s fear. 

“I’m not like any other man.”

He pulls the trigger. One single bullet pierces through the air to penetrate Natasha’s forehead. She almost looked surprised for a second.

Lloyd ignores that Natasha’s blood soaks the carpet, or that he’ll need to get rid of her now. When it comes to things like his, he has people in his corner. 

“See. I told you so,” he smirks as he looks down at Natasha’s lifeless body. “What I do can't be taught …”

Genre wasn't specified, so I'll based it on the prompts itself. (This took too long because we were affected by an earthquake on july 27 a magnitude of 6.8 and its hard to find data connection in the following days and i accidentally deleted my original draft as i was about to post it so i gotta redo. this is rushed cuz its already way past the due date so i feel bad don't feel confident about it)

Doflamingo x Fem!Reader

You don't understanding him, despite the fact that you've known him for years.

You were already a part of his crew before he became King of Dressrosa and one of the seven warlords.

As a member of the Donquixote family you are one of the many followers who saw his success and the only one to see his weakness.

Others could question how can a cruel and cunning character like Doflamingo, who was also regarded as the ruler of the underworld, could have such humanly things such as feelings.

Something the people who hasn't been with him would say. But you, who had witnessed his vulnerability, would say otherwise.

Like the time you took on the job of Baby 5 for the day. You went into Doflamingo's office to clean, but when you saw him resting on a couch with a book covering his face, you decided to leave and return later. However, before you could turn around to leave, you were startled by a loud gasp followed by a small thud to the ground that made you look back at him.

He was sitting up straight, panting with a heavy sweat waking up from a nightmare. His glasses were placed on the table, allowing you to see the hint of fear reflected in his eyes, but it quickly vanished as he took notice of your presence.

Flinching the moment you two made eye contact. Being one of the executives, you knew fully well that Doflamingo hate being seen vulnerable or yet death awaits. You knew this much from the years of serving him.

In fear of your own life, you tried to move and leave as soon as possible, however your body stood frozen, not fully knowing how to react to what you have just seen.

Calming himself, Doflamingo stood up from the couch and predatoriliy walk towards you. Few feet apart, he took a tight hold of your wrist pulling you in before closing the door, trapping you in between. Thinking this is it for you, you shut your eyes closed awaiting for the pain to come.

"Open you eyes, (y/n)."

Surprised, you hesitantly opened them to see Doflamingo intense gaze staring right back at you.

"I'll let you off this once and you better not tell any souls about it." He warned before letting your wrist free from his hold.

"Yes, Young master." You stutterd out a quick reply watching him go back to sit on the couch before you left the room completely.

It leaves you bewildered as to why he let's you off so easily without some kind of consequences.

Soon after that incident, you were ordered to be by his side at all times. Every meetings to accompanying him to his every voyage, you'll be always be by his arm's length.

Your relationship with Doflamingo gradually improved over the time you spend with him. Discovering something new you didn't know about him yet he still left you confused.

He hates people testing his patience, yet tolerates your tardiness at the palace. His laid back and carefree personality really differ from his violent and blood thirsty act.

Praising you for a job well done, a small rewards from time to time as you rely him some useful information and just by accompanying him from his voyage made you smile.

He wasn't one to initiate. But sometimes, just sometimes. There were times where he'd be the one to make the first move. His innocent like touches around you made you feel some kind of things.

Not knowing until its too late, you've already fallen for him leading you to seek his presence more.

Doflamingo was no fool, he knew how exactly you see him. Those soft subtle look you 'discretely' send his way and how you were so easily pleased with just a small gift coming from him really amuse him.

You didn't expect, your relationship with him as a loyal subordinate will lead to something more when he decided to indulge you in your own fantasy.

It all started out as a simple kiss driven by the tension in the room that lead to a night of pleasure.

"I'll be gone for a while for the warlords meeting with viola and some of the executives, ill see you again the night after it." Doflamingo said reaching for the bottle of liquor at the bedside table.

At the mention of the name, you unconsciously tightened your grip at the blanket covering the both of you. A thought that kept gnawing at the back of your head for the past months came to mind.

Biting your lip, you look at yourself and at Doflamingo whose drinking liquor beside you. Gathering some courage, you hesitantly open your mouth and asked.

".....What about her?"

"Who?" He replied as if he really don't know who you referring to.

It's no secret that viola and Doflamingo has something going on and this thing going on between you and the said male for the past months were never known by anyone in the family.

Even with the knowledge of him and voila. How did it lead to this? Why do you ever let it come this far? You have no idea.

Lost in the pleasure and bliss of being with the man you love, you push the slight guilt at the very back of your head, and had now turned around to bite you back at this very moment.

"You know you are still sleeping with me when you are dating." You clarified tearing your gaze away from him.

"..Oh well." 'He nonchalantly replied after a brief pause before standing up from the bed you shared to get dressed and left. Leaving you alone like usual.

An act you should've got used to, but why do you feel worse everytime he do so?

The guilt of your selfish act ignoring anything around you lead by your own emotions is coming at you at full force, completely devouring each of your thoughts.

You knew full well, that this was purely for his own entertainment, yet you can't bring yourself to escape its grasp. You're well aware that you brought this upon yourself, but something inside you doesn't sit right. You hope even for a moment, Doflamingo will hold such affection towards you. However, that was a pointless wish.

The time when he just randomly seek for your attention, you thought it could be something and it made you feel happy. However, turns out it was actually nothing.

Taking a deep breath, you wiped away the tears that was threatening to spill from your eyes before taking a rest.

The pain of this unrequited love and the overwhelming guilt you felt was too much to bear.

Morning finally came, and you've finally made up your mind.

The moment they departed, you did something you never thought you would ever think of doing.

You left leaving no words behind. You could only imagine how furious Doflamingo will be if he found out.

How about you? Do do like some ships? Or hate it?

I enjoy shipping, although I try to keep it off of this blog so it stays neutral for everyone (although very rarely I will make references to what I do ship). With ships involving Zoro, I do fancy zo//lu and zo//sopp :)

As for other op ships, my taste is pretty mainstream lol. fr//obin, na//vi, ace//san, sabo//ala, all pretty popular stuff haha

Ok before I answer know that having a harmless opinion that conflicts with someone else's doesn't give anyone the right to bully or harass anyone to any degree!!!

Zo/San -> honestly I'm not a huge fan because I prefer poetic enemies to lovers if that makes sense? Like, genuine conflict of morals through tainted world views instead of siblings in a slap fight. That's pretty much how I see Zoro and Sanji, quarreling siblings. I make a small exception for zosanlu because Luffy's the mediator

Sh/uggy -> I could see it but also not see it, it's like the siblings in a slap fight thing again but also like lu/Nami without the Moments, you know? Good for a joke or two, but if there was a relationship it's in the past and both are over it

Robin / any crew except Franky -> Zoro? People just ship it because 2nd guy x 2nd girl there's just no chemistry. Luffy? Eh, not really, yeah Robin loves him to the moon but not romantically. Sanji? No, Sanji is like 12 in Robin's mind. Usopp? Robin is Usopp's mom. Brook? Only if it's poly with Franky I kinda ship Brook and Franky tbh. Jimbe? He's not goofy enough she needs a dork.

Mar/ace -> I don't mind using this ship as a way to expand on Marco's character or Ace's relationship with the Whitebeard's, and I kinda like the trauma bonding, but I don't really ship Ace with anyone personally. Hes got too many attachment issues in both directions, and Marco's a little too old to be running around trying to chase someone that can't manage his own relationships, romantic or no

Romantic ASL -> I don't really see a point? I don't see how they could get closer if they were romantic? They're good as they are, the only content I've seen abt this was steriotypical brocon and that's just,,, bland. If u can't justify a ship without completely changing the personalities of all characters involved u don't have a ship u have a template.
