THE SHADOWHUNTER CHRONICLES UPDATE:
The release date for Chain of Thorns has been pushed back due to COVID. It was originally planned to come out in the spring of 2022, but Cassie has announced that it’ll come out November 1, 2022. (This is Cassie’s first book affected by the pandemic)
Chain of Thorn’s cover is in the works. Cassie has already seen some sketches. According to her “it looks gorgeous!” (which I don’t doubt). The cover will most likely be released at the end of this year.
Wicked Powers has not been scheduled yet.

So we villainize an emotionally abused girl who manipulated someone because had no choice but don't condemn or even speak about the actual villains, a crazy cray lady who did shitty things to her daughter and an actual demon?
Thanks I hate it here.

I know we don't really know who's descendant of whom about the Fairchilds, but let's just ignore that for a second and think of how happy Matthew would be knowing he's related to Clary - an artist, bringing beauty into the world, like he's always wanted to do, and still a Shadowhunter

If Matthew’s an ancestor of the modern day Fairchilds, I think it’s adorable how Clary is the embodiment of a descendant he aught to have. I mean, she has an avid interest in art and creativity. She’s able to invent and use runes no one else can, which would make Henry proud. Also, more significantly, she’s the little girl who stopped two wars.

City of Bones, page 62:
Jace was seated at the grand piano…She must have made some noise because he twisted around on the stool, blinking in the shadows. “Alec?” he said. “Is that you?”
Clockwork Angel, page 100:
A boy with a violin propped against his shoulder. His cheek rested against the instrument, and the bow sawed back and forth over the strings, wringing notes out of it, notes as fine and perfect as anything Tessa had ever heard. His eyes were closed. "Will?" he said, without opening his eyes or ceasing to play. "Will, is that you?"
Queen of Air and Darkness, page 19:
A door opened at the top of the steps, and light spilled onto the dark landing. "Julian?" Emma called. "Julian, is that you?"
