ive been practicing rendering basically every day(rip my drawing hand) and honestly im pretty happy with this. in case the inner eye highlights didnt make it obvious i did use arcane as a reference lol.

I am in love with sandy and all the winter outfits that came out in the new update, so ofc i wanted to give sandy her own winter outfit. i imagine she'd wear something like this if she were to go visit emily when its cold in the valley.

ive always loved that emily and sandy's colors were the reverse of each other, so i wanted to keep with that theme here with the winter outfits. I also generally tried to keep that stardew valley vibe with the choice of outfit, by taking aspects of other characters outfits and applying them here, as well as keeping the colors bright and fun.

im literally a decade late but i finally watched rebellion after finishing the show. can someone come give these poor girls a nap and a warm drink? maybe some therapy???

i experimented with shadows as ive been doing lately, i really like how big and blocky the shapes turned out. i found a method doing half tones and shadows all on one layer that i really enjoy, so im definitely gonna be using that more often in the future. I also did some nice spikey shapes trying to follow the simple lineart i did for the hair to make some fun highlights, and i def plan on using that more.

drew her in The Dress. I did not design this dress myself, i've just seen it all over the place and its gorgeous. If anyone knows the original designer of the dress please let me know, I'd love to credit them for their work, all I can find are shady scam sites selling duplicates.

In terms of the process for this, it was originally intended to be just a low effort sketch, but i got ahead of myself yet again lol. I've been having a lot of fun with light and shadow lately, the most satisfying thing ever is adding reflective light to my pieces. I did use a brush for the chains, hence why some of them meld together a bit, but i cannot emphasize enough how much i did not want to draw all those tiny little chains by hand. Not happening. Overall I'm really happy with this.

i have discovered The Brush(Wet Textured Soft for any krita users out there), i loved it and used it for all my shadows. i wanted a bit more line variation so i fought with i used a thicker brush than usual for line art.

A fun little concept regarding a couple of my favorite OC's in the world of slay the princess. i honestly was gonna go all out with this piece but i made my canvas too large and therefore everything was very laggy lol, so this is as finished as it gets. i got a bit creative with the Slayer's outfit, since in the game we're a bird creature.

Let me start of by saying: I am the biggest poser when it comes to anything mario. i know literally nothing about the games or even the movie that came out a while back.

im not gonna lie, this piece frustrated the living hell out of me. i definitely feel like i could have done better, but i think its best to just let this piece lie and if i really want to, i can redraw this in the future using what i learned from this. Regardless of my opinion, at the end of the day I tried something new, and thats a good thing.

The swirl patterns in each dress are inspired by a gorgeous drawing from @maximahem. My goal wasn't necessarily realism, but to make them flow into each other in a way that was interesting to look at.

I'm now selling pins, stickers, and magnets of my work! I wanted to do a series of potion bottles with different themes, and had a lot of fun shading the glass of each bottle. I pushed myself to work only with large blocks of colors, rather than trying to blend everything. I actually loved coloring like this and it was a lot of fun.
