Scribbling down on the clipboard furiously as the new set of results came in, he had to admit how calming the room was without the eccentric billionaire roaming around in it. Lost in the world of science he barely batted an eye to the surroundings around him.

As the brown haired, blue eyed woman walked in the lab with a charcoal grey skirt and long sleeved, black shirt that was noticeably well fitted. She gazed at the messy brown haired scientist before she sauntered over and tapped him on the shoulder.

The Doctor's eyes widened slightly,gazing at the woman in front of him. She was utterly beautiful, it was like any flaw she may have possessed just contributed to making her more perfect. However that wasn't the only thing that stood out to him. The was this particular serene look in her large eyes and he couldn't help but feel so at ease yet so nervous at the same time.

“Uh-h yes how can I help you?”he asked, internally groaning at his lack of social skills while re-adjusting his glasses that seemed determined to slip off his face.

The woman simply smiled back at the man before introducing herself “I'm Stella Fury, Your new lab assistant. Assigned by Shield.” Her head tilted slightly while giving her explanation to the flustered avenger.

“Oh yes, sorry I forget you were coming today” he replied, mentally slapping himself for not remembering, fumbling around with all his papers, trying his best to clear the desks that were set out for her work and so she would find him a tad more presentable that at the present moment

“Yes, uhm sorry about this mess, I'll just...” Bruce trailed off, dumping 2 day old coffee mugs by the opposite counter. Arranging all equipment so it would be easier to move around in and only focusing on clearing up the cluttered room, now the feeling on embarrassment creeping up on his shoulders.

She observed the man she has heard so much about before reassuring him that the situation was fine as he ran around the room, tidying the best he could. When his glasses finally achieved it's mission of slipping of Banner's face, in politeness she bent down and picked them up for the man who finally slowed down a bit.

As Stella was handing him his glasses,he held his hand out to receive them, only for them to lightly touch in the exchange and as cliché as it sounded, a spark ignited between the two. It was interrupted by a high pitched beeping coming from the machine Bruce was previously working with. Causing them both to snap out of their trance like state and the Doctor to rush back to his station and record the latest information.

The new assistant was perplexed at the spark. Deciding to shrug it off and listen to the information, not knowing what else to do while playing with her hand silently.

“Okay so if you continue with these diagrams then I can put them into charts which from there we can organise the highest percentages before converting them into the right amount we need to measure the latest energy transactions.”Bruce finished off, with a slight nonchalance, presuming she was aware of what he was saying. Not making much eye contact he bumbled around with several different spread sheets for her to analyse.

Stella nodded in confirmation “Okay”she answered, smiling at him, pleased with the work they would be doing.

After several long hours of work, the pair grew more comfortable with each other and grew to become good friends. Half way through another of his science rants she let out a cute yawn, indicating towards her tiredness. Breaking out of his fast speech at the sounds of the yawn, Bruce let out a fond smile as he saw her eyes half closed in exhaustion, her small head leaning against the mass of papers they had sorted through earlier. The Doctor had to confess how adorable she looked and how he was quite impressed with her work and behaviour, not only was she considerably bright but that was the longest anyone had ever sat through one of numerous lectures. Even Tony who was normally interested in what he was saying.

At first he was more than apprehensive of having some complete stranger work with him nearly all the time but after this he knew he would probably miss the company of the woman.

Pondering what to do with the now sleeping female, he walked over and after mulling it over in his head for a few seconds, picked up her light frame with ease and placed heron the small sofa to the corner of the roam. Draping a cosy looking blanket over her, Bruce ambled over back to his back at his desk with a content smile on his face, now knowing the woman was okay and she was going to get some much needed rest, before continuing to work into the late hours of the night.
