Some of my top of the list mlm ships in the MCU are Sambucky, TonyRhodey, ScottLuis, EverPanther, LukeDanny & LangWoo. (I also lowkey adore IronPanther, ThorBruce & MattFoggy - On the fence about JohnLemar cuz there’s a lot of ouchie feelings there)

Everett made a decision about his crush. He was going to do nothing, absolutely nothing. You see Everett had a problem. When he had to talk to his crushes, his brain switched off. Unfortunately his mouth didn’t. He couldn’t stop talking and about the most random things ever. It was no wonder he never got a second date. He valued T’Challa and his friendship far too much to lose it. So he would stay silent about his crush. He was a grown man. He could do this.

“A date?”

“Yes.”

“With you?”

T’Challa nodded, clearly amused.

“You’re sure? You want to go on a date with me?”

“Yes, very much so. Now, yes or no?”

“Yes, I’d love to go on a date with you.”

“Excellent. It shall be in my suite here. Okoye will pick you up at 7 and bring you to the hotel. I look forward to it Everett.”

“Yeah, me too.”

Ok, new plan. Talk as little as possible tonight.

New plan failed. Everett’s brain shut down and for some reason he was now talking about different soil types. After spending an hour talking about the Disney Renaissance. What was wrong with him? Did his brain really think that the king of the most technologically advanced country wanted to hear about any of this? But looking at T’Challa, the king didn’t look annoyed. If anything, he looked amused. And fond. Was T’Challa enjoying this?

“Yes, I am quite enjoying this. And yes, you are talking out loud. But please, continue telling me about Europe’s soil profile. It is very informative.”

Grinning, Everett continued talking. This wasn’t how he expected the date to go, but he wasn’t going to complain. A good date is a good date.
