CONFISCATED - PART 2
Tumblr media
Beth cursed as the clutch on her car made another unpleasant grinding sound and the automobile leapt forward a few inches. Yanking the gear stick hard, she managed to regain control and finally pulled off into the traffic at a reasonable crusing speed.
This car was a total piece of shit, but since finalising the divorce with Lawrence she'd been struggling financially and the last thing she could afford right now was a new vehicle.
Lawrence and her had split up amiably enough and he always paid his alimony on time, but Beth knew they were both struggling to manage. Bella was at a difficult age and their separation had affected her most of all. She seemed to think money, popularity and status were all that mattered and she was addicted to her mobile phone.
Beth was still hopeful that Bella would mature and realise there was more to being a woman than how you looked and what you could get out of men. She herself despised gold-digging bimbo's and was uncomfortable when she had found Bella looking at breast enhancement websites.
Bella had inherited Beth's flat chest and she seemed determined to find a way to cheat nature. She'd already told her Mom she was determined to get implants as soon as she was able - although she'd gone suspiciously quiet about it recently, almost as if she'd found some other way to get what she wanted.
Beth just wished her daughter could be happy the way she was. She didn't want her daughter becoming a spoiled gold-digging, fashion obssessed bitch.
A ripple suddenly seemed to pass through the air. A faint vibration that made her shiver and the hairs rise slightly on her arms. Beth's mobile phone on the passenger seat suddenly buzzed and the screen lit up.
CONNECTED TO BRAT APP. DOWNLOADING SOFTWARE.
Beth didn't look at her phone, she assumed it was just a message and she would read it later.
BRAT APP INSTALLED. CONNECTED TO ACCOUNT LOREN. UPDATING... UPDATING... UPDATING...
Beth's phone began to throb as an upload bar began to rise on the screen.
And on the steering wheel her nails began to lengthen into slutty acrylic claws...
***
Tumblr media
"Mmmmh, OMG I'm like sooo fucking hot," giggled Loren as she admired her slutty reflection in the mirror. Moments had passed since she had pushed the button on Bella's mobile phone and the electrifying transformation had taken hold. She was still tingling with the orgasmic pleasure of becoming such a bitch. She felt fucking yummy.
Loren could taste sexy pink lipgloss on her lips, she could smell girly bodyspray rising from her clothes and she could feel her long blonde hair tickling her neck and shoulders. Her stupid cock was gone, replaced by a superior pussy. Her large perfect breasts hung heavy and pleasingly obvious on her chest. Her ass was perfect and her long sexy legs went on for miles.
And it wasn't just the physical changes. It felt like her head had been dumped in a bucket of water. The rush of the change had disorientated her and reset her mind. She was thinking in terms of female pronouns, she could only think of herself as Loren now.
She still remembered that a moment ago she'd been Lawrence, Bella's Dad - but now that seemed almost like a crazy memory belonging to a different person. This new persona that Brat App had created had taken control. The man she had been was gone.
Or was he?
As Loren examined herself, she felt some aspects of her old personality resurface and fight back. It isn't easy to completely alter someone and as enticing as this new body and mind was, some element of Lawrence was fighting back.
Looking down at Bella's mobile phone... NO... Loren's mobile phone now, Loren saw that the Brat App was open. There was a menu open.
REFUND PERIOD - 24 HRS. CLICK HERE FOR A FULL REFUND AND REVERSAL OF ALL CHANGES. AFTER 24 HOURS YOUR REFUND IS NULL AND VOID, ALL CHANGES BECOME PERMANENT.
Loren's finger hovered over the button. So... she COULD go back to being Lawrence. She could end this with a single click and reverse all the changes.
But then again she had 24 hours. So why not use them?
Loren knew she'd regret it for the rest of her life if she didn't take advantage of this new body. She felt new hungers, new desires. She was a teenage bitch now and she wanted to know how that felt. She closed the menu. She definitely wasn't ready to end this yet.
Thoughts of wearing slutty clothes, manipulating and controlling boys, bullying other people they began to run through her evil new mind. The Lawrence part of her was uncomfortable at these wicked thoughts, but he was currently too weak to fight as Loren took control.
She picked up her phone. She needed some porn or something. She was horny. She stopped as she saw there was another menu running in the app, she looked at it curiously.
MAKING REALITY ADJUSTMENTS TO SUIT UPGRADED LIFE. ADJUSTING FAMILY RELATIONSHIPS. BITCHY RICH MOM PROGRAM RUNNING.
Loren looked at the app nonplussed. What the fuck did that mean? Was someone else being transformed? She wondered who and a slight tingle of excitement thrilled through her that another person was being corrupted in order to make her life better. It felt good to be the centre of attention.
The thought made her tingle and she brought her hand down to her pussy. Mmmmh oh yeah...
She opened the app and her lips twisted into a smile as she saw a name. Beth.
Loren saw that there was now an avatar of Beth on the screen. Upgrades were already happening, but she had the power to adjust things to.
She began to finger her tight pussy as she began to fuck up Beth...
***
Beth groaned and her car swerved as a sudden pulse of pleasure shot through her body. "Wh... what the fuckkkk?" she hissed, her body tingling pleasurably and her head spinning.
She looked down.
Her hands seemed different somehow. The nails long and slutty, the fingers dripping in expensive rings. Her usually pale skin seemed tanned and smooth. No... wait, this is what her hands always looked like. She loved a sexy, expensive manicure.
The car beneath her was changing. The seat became expensive leather, the interior more sumptious. The gear box became automatic and Beth leaned back and purred with satisfaction.
On the seat the phone throbbed and the upgrade bar rose higher.
She loved driving this Mercedes... just like she enjoyed all expensive things. Money, wealth and power were all that mattered. It was a lesson she was teaching her daughter Loren, oh and possibly that other wretched daughter of hers Bella.
No... wait... who the fuck was Loren? Bella was her only daughter? No...Bella was the daughter she hated and wish she'd never had.
Beth groaned as conflicting memories and feelings throbbed through her mind. Reality bent and buckled as the Brat App adjusted her to suit it's new narrative. Loren needed a Mommy. A rich, spoiled, mean bitchy Mom. Bella was no longer important. She was being relegated to the unpopular daughter.
In this new reality, Beth was an evil gold digger who only cared about money and status. She doted on her daughter Loren and bullied her othet daughter Bella relentlessly.
Beth moaned in pleasure and her seat belt twanged as her tits began to inflate.
Beth's chest began to tingle. She had no idea that across town Loren was pushing the button for bigger and bigger implants. She wanted her Mommy to be absolutely massive.
Tumblr media
"Fuck yessss!" moaned Beth as her once flat chest blossomed out and two massive silicone milkers stretched and grew out. Her clothing transformed to accommodate her new bust as her lips filled with collagen and her hair became silkier.
"I looooove my big tits," she hissed.
Beth remembered now - her massive fucking boobs made her SO much better than other women. She was better than them in every way.
When Lawrence had died, the money from the insurance had paid for these tits. Soon after she'd married a millionaire, a rich black man named Logan. Now she was super happy with him. He was successful and he spoiled her rotten.
Beth... no... that wasn't her name. Bethany... she went by Bethany... recalled all the cruel and evil things she had done to get ahead. She loved being a bitch and she'd taught her daughter Loren everything she knew.
Latex, big tits, sex appeal - it was all a woman needed. She loved being a cruel fuckdoll who took everything she wanted.
Her silver Mercedes Benz purred beneath her hands... her designer dress hugged her body. She effortlessly cut through the traffic not caring about speeding. The police were in her husbands pocket as was half the city.
She owned this town.
Driving through the electric gates of a private mansion, Bethany pulled up and swapped seats with the Butler. He would park the car in the underground garage for her.
Tumblr media
Striding into the house, her panties wet at the thought of how Logan would fuck her later she glanced around. "Where is Loren?"
"Your daughter is in her room Madame," whimpered a pathetic maid. Bethany made a mental note to have her punished later.
"Where is my husband?"
"By the pool Madame."
Bethany smiled and adjusted her massive tits within the tight latex dress she was wearing. "I will go see him first then..."
***
Loren moaned... her pussy exploding as she squirted again.
"Ohhhhh fuckkkkk."
Making Beth into an evil latex bitch was so wrong. Turning her against their own daughter was perverted. Loren loved it.
Doesn't it feel good to live only for pleasure and being a bitch?
Loren slid her three fingers back into her tight pussy and began to moan again.
"Noooo this is wrong, this is fucked up," she hissed - but doing nothing to stop. "I shouldn't be doing this."
You love it. You are Loren now and you are all that matters.
Loren glanced down at the Brat App. She still had plenty of time left before she had to activate any refund. She needed to experience more... she needed to learn more about her life as a teenage bitch.
The house had changed around her to a mansion and she now had a bitchy Mom. Going to her window she looked down at the pool where her Mom was riding her step-dad like a pornstar.
It was fucking hot.
Loren giggled and smirked. Being an evil little bitch suited her. She still had so much to find out before deciding if she should go back to being Lawrence.
And most important of all - she had a sister to take care of. Loren squirted again... then wiping her sticky pussy clean, she walked to the wardrobe to get dressed.
It was time to find more out about being a bitch and have a little heart to heart with her sister.

Enrico
Enrico, a very handsome Spanish chef, stood tall and broad at 6 feet in height. At 39 years old, he exuded confidence and charm. Enrico had a love for life, evident in his glowing smile and twinkling eyes. He possessed an amazing chest and broad shoulders, but also sported a bit of a belly, evidence of his culinary indulgences. Despite this, Enrico was content with his appearance and embraced his curves. He ran a successful restaurant in the popular coastal city of Marbella, where he knew everyone and was well-respected in the culinary world. Married with three children, Enrico cherished his family life but occasionally slept around, seeking excitement and adventure in brief encounters. His wife was unaware of his infidelities, or so he thought.
Tumblr media
Enrico's life took an unexpected turn when his wife discovered his secret affairs. Driven by hurt and betrayal, she demanded a divorce. In the settlement, Enrico faced a significant financial payout to his ex-wife. Determined to reinvent himself, Enrico vowed to make a change as he approached his 40th birthday. He decided to dive headfirst into fitness and joined a gym.
As Enrico committed himself to his newfound fitness routine, he gradually regained his young and sculpted physique. He even managed to achieve six-pack abs once again. With his irresistible charm intensified by his new body, Enrico found himself being pursued by numerous admirers. Every night, he had a different woman in his bed, embracing the life of pleasure and luxury. His restaurant business also flourished, bringing in money like water.
Tumblr media
One fateful evening, whilst under the influence of alcohol, Enrico encountered a vivacious young woman named Julia. Intrigued by her magnetic energy, Enrico was surprised when she expressed her desire to involve her gay friend, Gio, in their encounter. With curiosity and an open mind, Enrico participated in a thrilling threesome with Julia and Gio. The experience awakened desires and emotions within him that he had never felt a connection he shared with Gio during this encounter sparked something special. Gio, a 25-year-old wealthy individual living in his parents' holiday home, became the object of Enrico's affections, and soon they began dating, even incorporating threesomes into their relationship.
As their love blossomed, Gio and Enrico started spending more time together. Gio would often visit Enrico's restaurant, bringing along his rich friends and celebrities, leading to a booming business. However, their relationship remained a secret among the staff. Gio would always be the last guest, and Enrico found solace in hanging out and drinking at Gio's table. The staff made sure Enrico's glass was never empty. Late-night Burger King visits, nightclubs, and midnight snacks at Gio's place became a part of their routine. With time, Enrico began to lose control of his eating habits and regained all the weight he had lost.
Tumblr media
Gio's desire for Enrico to come out intensified, but Enrico's fear held him back, leading to frustration and further indulgence. He started eating more to cope with his emotions and the stress of potential discovery of him being gay. Enrico found comfort in food, gorging himself on a variety of treats. He would stress eat throughout the day, indulging during staff dinners, enjoying bites and snacks with guests and Gio, and even continuing to eat after his shifts ended. The weight began to explode onto his frame, resulting in a massive belly.
Tumblr media
Gio made the difficult decision to break up with Enrico, longing for someone who could be open about their love. Heartbroken, Enrico spiraled into a cycle of self-destructive behavior. For weeks, he stayed in bed, eating buckets of ice cream, chocolate, and cake. His weight skyrocketed, and his excessive eating began to take a toll on his body, making it difficult for him to work.
After hitting rock bottom, Enrico made an important decision - to come out and openly declare his love for Gio. Determined to make their relationship work, Gio decided to give Enrico another chance. They entered into a proper, loving relationship. Five years later, Enrico and Gio continued to enjoy life together. They embarked on amazing trips and indulged in thrilling nights out, all while sharing an intimate and passionate connection. Gio took special care to ensure Enrico was satisfied and fulfilled in every aspect of their relationship, including his physical desires. Enrico grew even larger, his presence on Marbella's beaches causing gossip and intrigue among onlookers. However, Enrico didn't care about public opinions. He relished in his success, happiness, and his hot, loving boyfriend by his side. No one and nothing could stop them from thriving, and Enrico only grew fatter, embracing his new sense of self.
Tumblr media
Time passed and Enrico's love for food and indulgence only grew stronger. He found comfort in his expanding waistline, reveling in the way his shirts strained against his bulging belly. He no longer had any desire to go to the gym or maintain his once-fit physique.
Gio, who had a deep admiration for Enrico's newfound size, embraced his partner's love for food. He would cook extravagant meals for Enrico, ensuring that every craving was satisfied. The couple would spend lazy afternoons in bed, surrounded by empty bags of chips and trays of pastries, indulging in their mutual love for gluttony.
Enrico's restaurant continued to thrive, not only due to the delicious cuisine but also because of his newfound reputation as the "largest chef in Marbella." People would flock to the restaurant just to catch a glimpse of Enrico's massive form, marveling at the way he would waddle from table to table, his round belly preceding him.
Despite the occasional judgment and whispers from others, Enrico and Gio were content. They had found love and acceptance within each other's arms, as well as a shared passion for food and pleasure. Enrico had no intentions of slowing down or losing weight; he had found his true happiness in being a larger-than-life figure, both literally and figuratively.
Together, Gio and Enrico continued to explore the world, enjoying lavish vacations and luxurious meals. Enrico's appetite knew no bounds, and he indul in everyged culinary delight that came his way. He wore his size with pride, not caring about societal standards or the opinions of others.
As the years went by, Enrico's girth expanded further, his belly reaching colossal proportions. He had become a symbol of indulgence and excess, a living testament to the fact that happiness could be found in embracing one's desires, no matter how unconventional they may seem.
Enrico knew he would forever be the handsome Spanish chef with an insatiable appetite. He had found his true self, his true love, and his true happiness. And as he continued to grow, both in his relationship with Gio and physically, he knew that nothing could dim fire the that burned within him.
Tumblr media
And so, the story of Enrico, the very handsome Spanish chef, continued unabated. He lived a life of pleasure, satisfaction, and gluttony, unapologetically embracing his larger-than-life existence. For Enrico, there was no such thing as too much, and he relished in the knowledge that he had found his own version of perfection in his ever-expanding figure.

A little random information about your soulmate.
The messages here are only for reference and entertainment. Tarot can't predict 100% of everything in your life exactly. Your fate is up to you. I hope you can enjoy this reading.
Pile 1 -> Pile 2 -> Pile 3
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pile 1
(10 of cups, 10 of pentacles, 3 of swords, 7 of swords)
Maybe your soulmate will also be your future partner . They're people who've had career success, financial stability. Or maybe they were born into a family with good financial background (even maybe they're rich). They have almost complete life. But I can see that they're also going through a hard time, maybe they've been hurt in the past and that pain is still hanging on to them. They can be a person who can't let go of the past, a nostalgic person. But deep inside, they always crave a happy home. Maybe because the past trauma is not healed yet, it's hard for them to open up to the people around them. They always separate themselves from others, perhaps for fear of getting hurt again. Pain comes with desire, and I think that the more painful and hurtful something makes us, the more we desire it. I feel like the soulmate of Pile 1 is always eager to build a home of their own, they want to have a strong and stable love.
Have you met or known each other?
( the tower)
No. You haven't met yet. They're going through a major change in their lives. This may be a difficult time, but it's also very important in their journey. And I think you and them aren't ready to meet at this time. They need to change and let go of the past before they meet you.
Extra: (oracle)
yeah, like I said, this person still has unresolved wounds. They have a lot of emotions but are also too stubborn. They know they are hurting but don't admit that they will be weak at times. They need to "surrender" and accept the changes that are coming to life. Just let everything flow, don't resist and try to swim against the current. When you and them meet each other, you will realize that you both have many things in common and that your relationship is harmonious.
Keywords
- A successful and financially stable/ Or from a rich family.
- Lots of reason ( But also sensitive)
- Maybe extrovertable
- May like to keep pets ( maybe a dog)
- Many air and water signs (a few earth signs)
Pile 2
(king of swords, page of pentacles, 5 of cups rx, 5 of wands)
They're difficult and rational people. They live with rules and don't want anyone to break the rules they set. They're logical, intelligent, and good at communicating. Seems like a workaholic. For them, everything needs to be planned and under their control. I have a feeling that they carry the energy of a leader, they can be the team leader in a team, either a manager or even a boss. Well, I wouldn't want to be their employees, because they'd be a very difficult boss, hahahaha, jkd, But they're great leaders and very ambitious. They're the kind of people who are responsible and trustworthy. People around them will usually listen to their advice. They can lead others with their experiences. I also noticed that they had experienced failures and injuries in the past, which seemed to be too naive to face life at the time. They are like young bird learning to fly for the first time and then they fall several times before they can "master the sky" like they do now. They are also highly competitive. it seems their environment demands it.
Have you met or known each other?
(ace of pentacles)
I'll say yes. Or if it's not, it'll be very soon. You two can meet when you are starting a new project or job. They may also be your colleagues or boss.
Extra: (oracle)
Deep down, they're people who care a lot about family and traditional values. They want to be strong so they can protect and take care of the people they love. They are the type of people who aim for stability and certainty. they have their pride. Sometimes they're a little conservative. But overall, this is someone you can trust.
Keywords
- Can be introverted
- Good communicated ability
- Workaholic
- Knowledgeable, experienced, mature, logic
- Conservative and controlling
- Loyal, confident, creative
- Many earth signs, water signs and air signs
Pile 3
( knight of cups, the hanged man, judgment, 10 of wands)
They are emotional, delicate and gentle. They are easy to sympathize and understand what others want. I feel they are people with artistic tendencies. Their creativity and artistic sensation are very good. Maybe their work relates to creativity or art. They are the type of person who will devote themselves to others and what they love. Maybe they have a spiritual ability or have faith in a religion. They are also a thorough consideration when having problems in life. However, it seems they are too much emotional and sensitive, so sometimes they are quite difficult to make decisions or choose something. They have the soul of an artist, they like the freedom and they are also dreamer. But I feel like they have a lot of responsibility in life, and they're really tired of it. They often sacrifice their own interests for others, which in turn leads to them taking on responsibilities that make them unable to be free.
Have you met or known each other?
(5 of swords)
Nope. I feel like you and they haven't met yet. They seem to have personal problems that can't be solved. They need to learn to accept what's going on in life that may not go their way. And they need to learn to prioritize themselves. They seem to be struggling with a lot of things in life.
Extra: (oracle)
Wow, I have to emphasize that Pile 3's soulmate is very intuitive and also very sensitive. They're completely immersed in their emotional world. They could be inspirational people. They're like sponges that absorb all emotions from themselves and from others. But they're also passionate, they like to walk their own path, they also like discovery and novelty.
Keywords
- Maybe extrovertable
- Art, creativity, passion
- Sensitive, intuitive, altruistic, compassionate
- Romantic
- Many signs of water and earth ( have a little sign of Aquarius)
How have you been these days? ❤️Please give me some suggestions about the topics you want to see. Thank you for your interest in my reading ❤️. Love u alllll ❤️🌸🌸🌸💐💐❤️

Daily Check-in: April 5, 2024 🎀
Friday was a decently good day! I managed to get some stuff done despite extremely fatigue (thank you womanhood), a 6.5 hour class, and crying my eyes out on zoom with my boyfriend (again, thank you womanhood). I hate having a functional female body, but I love being a woman? ughh, the confliction
🩷 What I Accomplished:
completed Chapter 9 of Spanish on Busuu
Created an excel spreadsheet to track scholarship applications that I am going to begin working on soon
watched a short YouTube interview in Spanish for some passive/active-ish learning
took a peak at the pdf Spanish textbook I'm going to begin using
read the first chapter of Essentialism (not sure if I'm going to keep reading that for now)
caught up on hand written psyc notes from the last two lectures
created a list of things for my excel spreadsheet for hosting rent options near my campus (I am moving out of my current place soon)
made my brain dump list for the week
planned out my upcoming week loosely
contacted a financial peer mentor from my university for help learning about budgeting and saving better
🩷 Good Things That Happened:
my position in my restaurant class barely changed, so I'm happy
met most of my prioritized goals
decorated one of my tracking journals with cute stickers
got confirmation that my friend is taking me to work on Saturday
had a really good day overall
got to zoom call my boyfriend twice
talked to my dad on the phone twice
my grade in one of my classes went up from a 79 to an 83
🩷 What Could've Been Better:
my friend and I accidently swapped chem lab notebooks on Thursday so I wasn't able to do my report with the extension
got told I was talking to loud during my restaurant class :(
found that I'm working with a girl I'm not too fond of (due to her controlling and "authoritative" tendencies) for my restaurant class
cried on zoom with my boyfriend because this time of year is hard for me
lots of back pain and low stomach cramping
drank a soda after having a coffee and had waayyy too much energy
didn't drink enough water or eat enough protein/vitamin-richs foods
🩷 Stuff To Do Tomorrow:
work shift 8am to 3pm
complete small Spanish study tasks
read a chapter of a book
update my brain dump list
create excel spreadsheet for renting options near the campus
look into savings template for my goals
find out how many hours I've worked to guesstimate my pay for this upcoming paycheck
complete assignment for chemistry
Saturday is going to be a good day! I am going to make sure I have a good day on Saturday because even if bad things happen, it doesn't mean my day itself was inherently bad. Gotta stay optimistic
til next time lovelies 🩷

Atmakaraka series- Part 2
Atmakaraka is the planet with the highest degree in the birth chart.
Short note: atmakaraka can give good or bad results depending on the strength of the atmakaraka planet.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Atmakaraka in 2nd house:-
A person needs to learn how to handle money and they will also have to provide financial support to their family members. (whether or not the person will actually like to help their family depends on the planet and its strength)
Sun Atmakaraka in 2nd house- These people can either be good or bad at managing finances, depending on their relationship with the father. I know a woman with this placement, she is the eldest child in the family and so her father would take her with him to business meetings and basically teach her how to manage the business, she inherited it and now handles everything, and her husband gives all of his earnings to her as well, because he knows that she is better than him at managing money. These people can also be "head of the household", I know another woman with this placement, whose husband died just after 3-4 years of their marriage and she had to take on all of the responsibilities of the house.
Moon Atmakaraka in 2nd house- I have noticed that this is one of the placements where the person WANTS to support their family, as they are very close to them. They want to earn money because they want their family to have a carefree life. Also, I know a girl with this placement whose mother is a great businesswoman and she respects her mother A LOT and always asks for her help regarding 2nd house matters. If afflicted, then the person may not like what their family does for a living, or may not want to pursue the same career as their parents. I know a guy who has an afflicted moon Atmakaraka in 2nd and his parents are doctors and they also wanted him to become a doctor, the weird thing is that he wanted to become a doctor and he was interested in it, but he did not have a good relationship with his parents so he did a bachelors in business administration, JUST TO ANNOY HIS PARENTS....like....
Mercury Atmakaraka in 2nd house- Whenever I look at a politician who is a great orator, I assume they would have mercury in 10th house, but it turns out that they have mercury in 2nd house, These people are really good at selling dreams....not products, they are great at selling things that do not exist. I have seen that a lot of people with this placement earn money by lying to people. I have never met a normal person who has this, it's always actors, singers, or politicians oh, and also people who run NGOs and all and they attend parties to get donations but the money doesn't get used for the kids, it goes inside the pockets of the people who are already rich. These people are also great storytellers and can love working with kids.
Venus Atmakaraka in 2nd house- these people love buying Venusian things, I know a guy with this placement and he's the ONLY guy I know who has scented candles in his home, and he smells so good. These people can also be obsessed with branded things, for ex- if they want to buy a plain white shirt, they will still buy it from Ralph Lauren even if they get THE SAME shirt for like 5 euros from a normal place, it doesn't matter, they will still spend 119 euros, they need to learn to control themselves. They spend money like water, and also I have noticed that some people with this can be classist, they can judge people who buy cheap clothes and eat street food (not all of them do this, only some). Also, your friends can use you for money, so be careful.
Mars Atmakaraka in 2nd house- These people, similar to Venus, can be impulsive with money, but rather than SPENDING money very fast, they want to EARN money very fast and they are prone to taking risks because of this. I know a person with this placement, he was a 38-year-old banker and then he suddenly developed an interest in Ayurveda (traditional Indian medicine), he left his job and started studying Ayurvedic medicine, then he opened his own Ayurveda hospital. Fortunately, for him, it became very successful and now he's earning a lot of money, but if Mars is weak in the chart, and you make an impulsive decision like this, then you could end up losing all your money, so be careful and be patient.
Jupiter Atmakaraka in 2nd house- These people give great financial advice. They can also earn money from the stock market if Jupiter is unafflicted. They can also be great financial consultants because they have this vibe that makes people want to trust them. If you are talking to a person who has this placement and they just randomly say stuff like "You know what, I think this will be the next big thing", INVEST IN THAT because from what I have noticed, these people just have an intuition about this kind of stuff.
Saturn Atmakaraka in 2nd house- It is difficult for these people to earn money, they have to work harder than others just to get the same amount of recognition and praise. In group projects, they are the people who do everything but still don't get appreciated. They can come across as people who are stingy with money, but that's not the case, they don't spend money because they don't HAVE money. If you are someone who has this placement but also has Jupiter in the 11th house, then the situation becomes a little better, also if the 11th lord is well placed then the negative effects of this placement get mellowed down. (Just because you have it in your chart doesn't mean that you will be unlucky regarding money, a lot of other things have to be taken under consideration as well)

we gotta stop telling moms* to learn to ask for and accept help
this is a pseudo-mental-health bullshit way of subtly individualizing a multilayered structural and societal (often classist) problem wherein people in general, parents especially, mothers specifically, and neurodivergent mothers to the extreme, are left to fend for ourselves in ways that are frankly unprecedented in the history of human beings
I'm sure there are people who struggle to ask for help. (I've never been one of them.) What I'm saying is, even if they could learn to, it wouldn't solve anything!
Let's look at the assumptions behind "you need to learn to ask for help!"
That there's someone to ask. Who tf are we meant to be asking? If you live in a culture where families have scattered, you might not have any family nearby. Maybe you're lucky enough to have a partner, but if so, I feel like we can already assume you're asking for help from them, and them from you. (If you're not, that's a whole separate issue.) But often the overwhelm isn't such that an equitable division of labor between two parents can solve the problem. I have one non-partner family member nearby whom I can ask for help, and that actually feels pretty lucky.
That people you ask will agree to help. I recently messaged the entire school community list begging someone to drive one of my kids home on Wednesdays, figuring that many people must be going in that direction anyway and surely someone would be willing to stop the car and let my kid out at the end of my street. When I didn't get any responses from the wider community, I sent a smaller plea to the parents in my kids' classes. Nothing! Nada!
That our problems are such that others can (easily) help. There's a tragic het script that's like "I don't bother to ask him for help because I end up doing more work to get him to help than it would've been to do myself" (and yes that's fucked), but that's not even what I'm pointing to here. There are so many ways that the structures of our society make it so that people can't get help from others. School pickup, for example: most schools have policies that only parent/guardians or someone given prior permission can pick up students. If a parent is unexpectedly in a jam, this makes finding help a lot trickier and probably involves calling the school and trying to grant last-minute permission. Helping a kid with homework, for example: No matter what I do, teachers email/call me. This means that if I assign this task to my partner or some other person, I have to constantly be an in-between who is like, the arbiter of information. Going to the pharmacy: once I went to the pharmacy to help a neighbor with a kid who had been vomiting for 12 hours straight, and it was so difficult. First I had to pick up their insurance card, write down the kid's name, dob, etc. I still didn't know half the answers to things they asked me as I painstakingly eventually managed to pick up this kid's prescription.
That you have money to pay for outsourcing. Often, when it comes down to it, the only way our society seamlessly allows for help is through monetizing the tasks. It's possible to hire housecleaners or a nanny, for example. You can pay for grocery delivery. But (even if you're totally fine with becoming an employer, which I've never been) is that financially within reach for most people? No!!!
That the tasks that are hardest for you are tasks that can be outsourced. With adhd, my biggest chore struggles are getting myself to water the plants and getting myself to fill the pill organizers. These are not the easiest chores to get help with! I mean, even laundry would be easier, as you could chuck it all into a giant bag and hand it over to a service to be washed. But plants? They're all over my house and on different watering schedules. The pill organizers? That's controlled substances (Adderall, baby) and it's confusing with multiple times of day, etc -- who is going to take that on? Even my partner is too worried to get it wrong.
That, even if you have money, the service you need exists. I really want help with food preparation, but I have MCAS and specific dietary needs. Also, I don't want help with dinners (my partner does that) so much as I want help with snacks/lunch. I know what I would make if I had the energy to. There are no services in my area that could help me. I guess I could hire a personal chef, but I can't even begin to afford that and even then, many wouldn't work bc they're not all willing to work with different dietary needs. I tried finding something I could order by mail, but there's nothing that's a great fit and it's all too expensive for me.
The problem is not that moms don't know how to ask for and accept help. Every time we say that, we reinforce the idea that the problem is an individual one, that the fault lies with moms. It's a structural one, and it doesn't. Many of us are well aware of how to ask for help. If we aren't asking, it's because we know it's futile.
*The choice to gender this as "moms" is a conscious one, even though it also applies to some men and nb people. In my view, it really is a gendered problem that overwhelmingly affects women who are mothers. Because of that, generalizing to "people" or "parents" seems to me like it would be watering down the problem, at best, or erasing the gendered component of the problem, at worst. We also shouldn't say "you need to learn to ask for help" to dads, nonbinary parents, and non-parents—but we generally don't say that to those groups anyway! The vast majority of the time, I see this being said specifically to mothers. Moreover, the response that dads get to asking for help is often different. A dad asking for help strikes people as going above and beyond and is therefore more likely to trigger people to actually help him. Think about dads whose wife goes out of town and all these people bring him casseroles. Our society is often really good at giving some help—but only in extreme cases (emergencies like acute sickness or hospital stays, grief, ….a dad alone with kids for some reason, etc), and moms asking for help with mundane things simply does not count as a justification for help in most people's minds.

About the lethal world-altering power of "legal fictions of property" and creation of laws in British imperial attempts to control the monsoon-flooded rivers and deltas of Bengal, described in Debjani Bhattacharyya's work (Empire and Ecology in the Bengal Delta: The Making of Calcutta, 2019). Other scholars have also come to similar conclusions about British treatment of Bengal. It's kind of a nice microcosm not just of British rule in South Asia, but also of imperial attempts to control ecology, communities, and imaginations across the planet.
In deltas, shorelines, seasonally-flooded rivers and riparian wetlands, mangrove forests, etc., there may not be clear distinctions between "land" and "water". The boundaries might change every year, every season, sometimes every day, depending on tide, floods, etc. So, if empires like Britain or the United States are to control such a place, there are two different challenges here. One challenge is, maybe more obviously, material, physical. The other is ontological, imaginative, etc., or what not.
---
The material or physical challenge is:
How does the empire tax or administer properties if the property changes seasonally depending on rivers, floods, precipitation, etc.? How does the empire "manage" local social/financial conditions if there isn't clear recognition of a stable title, landlord, authority figure? Where is the solid property boundary that can facilitate ownership transfer, zoning, revenue collection, etc.? How does the empire force people into industrial or plantation labor if the empire can't use the threat of home-loss or job-loss to coerce local people? How does the empire install development projects or extractive industries, like roads, bridges, monoculture/plantation fields, etc., if the land and water are always in motion, fluid, changing?
The ontological challenge is:
Part of the empire's power comes from its ability to conquer the imagination, to capture the future, to insist that there is no other way, there are no other options. Empire is inevitable. And the empire insists that borders are "real", definite, strict. But how can you believe the empire's claims about strict boundaries, about the inevitability of their future, when you can clearly see an alternative, when you are living in an ecosystem where land and water are in a kind of dance, influencing each other, fluid, impermanent?
And the empire doesn't appreciate physical, material challenges. But the empire especially doesn't want any ontological challenges. If you can identify other ways of being, alternative lives, other futures, you undermine the empire's claim to inevitability and inspire others to live otherwise. In a way, a river or a delta or an estuary, they are a provocation; as if they were alive, agents themselves, these environments are a direct challenge to empire's claims.
---
A summary of this imperial conundrum, from Natasha Ginwala and Vivian Ziherl:
'[T]his tropical coastal ecology is a site of continual refiguration: neither sea nor land, neither river nor sea, bearing neither salty nor fresh water […]. The Sundarbans covers an area of 10,000 square kilometers of intertidal zones between parts of southwestern Bangladesh and the state of West Bengal in India. The largest mangrove forest in the world […]. As a landscape, the Sundarbans is marked by unfixity, since its intertidal nature places it between appearance and disappearance – with islands being submerged overnight. […] [T]heir porous quality does not allow for clear border-making. [...] [W]e are met with the trembling instability of borders. [...] [H]ere the coastline becomes indiscernible as a single entity. The legal vexations of such amphibious and obtuse terrain become pronounced in sea-rights cases, wherein border-making becomes the necessity of tenure.' ["Sensing Grounds: Mangroves, Unauthentic Belonging, Extra-Territoriality." e-flux Journal Issue #45. May 2013.]
---
So, those "legal vexations", "wherein border-making becomes the necessity of tenure [ownership]"? That's what Bhattacharyya discusses, how laws become "technologies of property" in Bengal.
Basically, Bhattacharyya describes "the legal processes through which the mobility of the landscape was accommodated into the architecture of ownership" (p. 77); "drying a tidal landscape was as much an infrastructural project as it was an ontological endeavor in producing a dry culture with colonial law as its handmaiden" (p. 83)' "the materiality of the paper" functioned as "a legitimizing object of modern property" (p. 100); the British/US/imperial imagination of rivers were "characterized by a cartographic-mindedness that captures and fixes the spatial mobility. The colonial journey is one of reterritorialization that involves mapping, measuring and fixing" (p. 122).
---
In the tags of my post, I mentioned that the "legal engineering to conquer rivers in Bengal" is also the focus of two other scholars who examine the relationships with water, the creation of private property, and the power of colonial law-making in Bengal:
Kuntala Lahiri-Dutt and Rohan Ignatious D'Souza.
D'Souza authored Drowned and Dammed: Colonial Capitalism and Flood Control in Eastern India (1803-1946), which provides nice coverage from the East India Company, through the Mutiny and nineteenth-century expansion of finance and plantations, into modernist development of the twentieth century.
And I think Lahiri-Dutt sums up this whole situation nicely:
'Traveling through Bengal in the eighteenth century, […] [travelers] saw a highly sophisticated water-based economy – the blessing of rivers […]. Bengal’s essential character as a fluid landscape was changed during the colonial times through legal interventions that were aimed at stabilizing lands and waters, at creating permanent boundaries between them, [...] in a land of shifting river courses, inundated irrigation, and river-based life. Such a separation of land and water was made possible not just by physical constructions but first and foremost by engineering a legal framework. […] BADA, which stands for the Bengal Alluvion and Diluvion Act, a law passed by the colonial British rulers in 1825 […]. Nature here represents a borderless world, or at best one in which borders are not fixed lines on the ground demarcating a territory, but are negotiated spaces or zones. Such “[...] spaces” comprise “not [only] lines of separation but zones of interaction…transformation, transgression, and possibility” […]. Current boundaries of land and water are as much products of history as nature and the colonial rule of Bengal played a key role in changing the ideas and valuations of both. […] [R]ivers do not always flow along a certain route […]. The laws that the colonial British brought to Bengal, however, were founded upon the thinking of land as being fixed in place. […] To entrench the system, the Permanent Settlement of 1793 created zamindars (or landlords) “in perpetuity” – meaning for good. The system was aimed at reducing the complexities of revenue collection due to erratically shifting lands and unpredictable harvests in a monsoon-dependent area […]. From a riverine community, within a hundred years, Bengal was transformed into a land-based community.' ["Commodified Land, Dangerous Water: Colonial Perceptions of Riverine Bengal." RCC Perspectives, no. 3. 2014.]
---
Part of why I appreciate Bhattacharyya's take on it is that she focuses on what was lost, not just in terms of physical landscape, material accessibility, etc., but also what was lost culturally, emotionally. Stories, traditions, ways of being. This is why Bhattacharyya describes this process of British rule in Bengal "a history of forgetting". She says: "And because we forget, it is harder for us to imagine alternatives".
Basically, British legal maneuvers to strictly define borders between land and water in Bengal, achieved several things: Yes, faced with frequent seasonal/annual changes of where shorelines and islands, etc., were located, part of the benefit of this legal defining and clarification of solid land was allowing the empire to map and administer stable segments of property for purposes of taxes, records, and development projects (roads, bridges, canals, etc.). This "permanence" of property then allowed for the opening of the door to financialization, so that investors in London or Calcutta could participate in financial speculation on the real estate market.
Another benefit was the installation of "private" property and strengthening the power of landlords, enforcing a social hierarchy, detaching poorer people from land access, resulting in conditions of indebtedness. Of course, the precarity of debt and lack of access to land then essentially forced poorer people into wage labour, factory work, plantations.
After all, Britain needed laborers to staff its expanding and notorious Assamese tea plantations. And the empire did this repeatedly elsewhere, too: Alienated people by using legal frameworks to force them into debt or homelessness, and then using those alienated people to work in terrible industrial conditions, often far away from their homes. Just as earlier nineteenth-century metropolitan London staffed its factories with indebted and impoverished people from elsewhere in England, Britain staffed its Assameses tea plantations with poor people from central India, and Britain staffed its plantations and infrastructure projects in Malaya with "coolies" and convicts from Bombay.
Outside of these material consequences, there is also the insidious lasting devastation of alienation itself. Emotionally. Loss of stories, songs, traditions, relationships, etc. The river, the delta, the ecosystem that you know and love, is not accessible to you. And so the empire's definitions and traditions are made resolute, the only possible future. There is no alternative.
But the river says otherwise.

Some of the world’s largest investment banks, pension funds and insurers, including Manulife Financial Corp.’s John Hancock unit, TIAA and UBS, have been depleting California’s groundwater to grow high-value nuts, leaving less drinking water for the surrounding communities, according to a Bloomberg Green investigation. Wall Street has come to Woodville, wringing it dry. Since 2010, six major investors have quadrupled their farmland under management in California, to almost 120,000 acres in all, equivalent to a third of all the cropland in Connecticut.
[...]
This rush for water is an outgrowth of a decades-long bet on farmland by investors who see food cultivation as an asset class virtually assured of appreciating in a warming, more populous world. Globally, large investors and agribusinesses have snapped up about 163 million acres of farmland in more than 100 countries in the past 20 years. The land grab has given rise to a grab of an even scarcer global commodity: water. In a bid to ensure thriving investment portfolios, some of the world’s largest financial entities have amassed control over lakes, rivers and underground aquifers in places from California to Africa, Australia to South America, giving them outsize roles in managing an endangered resource that’s the basis of life on Earth. The trend has contributed to shifting hydrological patterns that stand to permanently disrupt communities’ access to fresh water. Local populations are paying the price in drained wells, high water bills and contaminated water supplies.
[...]
In the past decade, parts of the San Joaquin Valley have dropped as much as a foot per year, according to the US Geological Survey. Subsidence, as the sinking is called, has damaged bridges, canals and other infrastructure that will cost billions of dollars to fix, the state says. The aquifers themselves are irreparable. Many groundwater basins, when drained, never recover their former storage capacity, hydrologists have found. “Groundwater in California has been treated as an extractive resource—you pump and hope for the best,” says Graham Fogg, an emeritus professor of hydrology at the University of California at Davis. “Capitalism is driving this. Investors don’t care, because in 10 years they can make all the money they want and leave.”

Might as well ask about Orion’s profile since ya did Viper!
Viper is one hella disturbing yan. One thing to break darlings tail. Another to pluck out her eyes…
New here and want to see Orion's fic? Click here!
Tumblr media
Orion: The yandere human hunter

Libido: high, controlled
Tumblr media
Additional notes:
-Orion was born as the only son of a wealthy, new money couple (a chaebol, basically). He grew up loved, yet deprived of social interaction due to the difference in financial status with his peers. That, paired with his extrovertedness, made him a lonely man. The relationships he was in also ends up in disaster, as he scares them away due to his possessive and clingy tendencies.
-Orion has his own home, and he taxidermies his own catch. Ironically, he's part of the sea life preservation organization in that town, making his taxidermy and hunting hobby a secret.
-Discovered his monster fucker fetish when back in University in the big city, he got together with a werewolf, then a naga. The werewolf lady awoken something inside him, while the naga solidified his fetish.
-Orion's love stems more on his desperate need to be loved romantically, and have a person in his life other than his family. An urge to finally have someone who will take his baggage without any complaints. Is it actually love? Yes.

Ignoring his inflammatory rhetoric, do you think Bernie's *POLICIES* are actually that extreme? I've read them over and, if he had a softer approach, they seem like they'd be sound policies to me
The problem with Bernie is that it's hard to know, in actual practice/reality, what his policies are. Yes, on paper, everyone knows what they are, and it's not a week if he's not writing yet another op-ed in the Guardian about Workers' Rights or Climate Justice or whatever. But like.... what good does that do anyone? Everyone who reads the Guardian probably agrees with those things already, and that includes me -- I read it, I financially support it, etc., but it's not where I come for policy actions or where I want to see US senators spending all their time. (Like, Bernie, aren't there other people you could be talking to, who could actually do something about this?) It's the definition of preaching to the choir, where he's regurgitating a boilerplate piece of progressive ideology but not actually doing anything about it or attempting to reach an audience who doesn't already agree with him. (Plus the Guardian, unfortunately, is always also willing to let his ex-campaign manager, David Sirota, bash the Democrats for something, but never mind that.)
Likewise, Bernie's actual voting record in the Senate isn't always a match with the things for which he has (very loudly) advocated, and he's a multi-millionaire old white man from Vermont (one of the whitest states in the Union) who has often seemed interested in preaching socialism for everyone else but resisting any scrutiny or participation in that for himself. He has gotten a lot of mileage and built a disproportionately influential political career out of championing so-called leftist progressivism/socialism, but as I keep saying about him, he never seems to do anything about it. "Tax billionaires" or "save the planet" are extremely broad-brush statements that everyone in the liberal camp can mostly agree on. And no, I wouldn't say those positions are particularly extreme; they're pretty much mainstream Democratic ideology at this point. Indeed, I think Bernie gets unwarranted traction out of positioning himself as the "radical" alternative to the Democrats, when most of the things he says are now basically part of the party platform and have been adopted or explored in some shape or form. Just because they can't actually be implemented at the moment, whether due to legislative roadblocks or otherwise, doesn't mean that they're not moving in that direction.
Likewise, Bernie's favorite hobbyhorse of Medicare for All is often used by his fans to irrationally bash the Democrats, as if we don't have universal healthcare -> quod erat demonstrandum, Democrats Are Neoliberal Shills. I've written many posts about the state of the healthcare debate in America and how passing even a much-watered-down Affordable Care Act cost Obama control of Congress for pretty much the rest of his presidency. So if Bernie and co. want to offer a roadmap for how to pass another major healthcare reform/overhaul that goes even further than the ACA -- trust me, everyone's listening and wants to know how to do that. That is neither extreme nor particularly, at least among Democrats, controversial in the way it was in 2009, when we still had Blue Dog Democrats in red states like Nebraska and South Dakota. But a) we have the united fascist bloc of Republicans who would object and obstruct it on principle, and b) we DON'T have enough Democrats to just pass it by fiat and have that be the end, because that's not the way things have worked in the history of anything.
So basically: if progressives want to endlessly harp on the Democrats for not magically pulling Medicare for All out of a hat, they're welcome to do that if, and only if, they can produce a credible policy/platform/program of action to actually get it passed that the Democrats could be following and aren't (and "they don't care enough about this and could fix it if they wanted!" is not that). That way, they could actually show that the reform is empirically possible and the Democrats are not carrying it out. But flatly ignoring all the political realities and blaming them for not producing a miracle in an extremely adverse legislative and political climate does not count as good-faith engagement and isn't directed toward any constructive end. It's just performative gesturing to show that they are Better Than The Establishment, something something something, and Bernie is usually one of the chief offenders in this regard, despite actually being part of the Establishment for decades.
I will give Bernie credit for two things: he has voted for all the major Democratic legislative packages with the relative minimum of selfish hostage-taking/sabotaging such as that carried out constantly by Manchin and Sinema, and he quickly shut down any talk of running (yet fucking again) in 2024, in order to support Biden's re-election bid. But as far as policies go, he's still not shown me that he either has a concrete plan to carry them out, that he knows what they are aside from broad-brush, vague and general talking points, or that he will put in the work to get them achieved, so yeah.

Posting some (evil and broke)orion, his big sis and all his cousins!!
Drew a lot today!! Took some procreate sketches, put them onto csp and just made more stuff from there! I have a lot to caption regarding the drawings and designs!
Tumblr media
Ok lemme explain - the evil looking orion is a design Ive been keeping for a while but basically if Troy broke up with him and Oriana influenced + brainwashed him (with a chip on his neck) he would look like that, hence the black and green! If normal Orion is 30% villain, this one is 90%, and hes basically a version of Orion that Oriana can fully control. He doesnt like takoyaki or luxury or partying and is only interested in fighting, going on missions, following his sister's orders and getting revenge on Troy.
The broke looking Orion has nothing to do with that, its just Orion if he wasnt filthy rich just financially ok and living with Troy, so hes not actually 'broke' thats just how he would describe it.
Tumblr media
I kinda updated Oriana's design!! I want to incorporate more wasabi in it tho so the clothing may change a bit. Regarding characteristics shes still a mean, competitive and powerful commander who has the most voice and influence amongst her cousins (not her brother though). Still giving Azula vibes!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
These are all 6 of Orion's cousins! Olive (she/her) is responsible for engineering and creating octarian-robot hybrids (basically some of the bosses) like the octo-oven and octo-maw. Her sibling Olav (they/xe/octo) is a popular political figure in the octarian space (amongst octo-troopers but less so octolings) having been raised by them in their culture when they were young. They are the youngest of the cousins and their interests lie more in line with the octarians than the oligarchy. Odin (he/him) is the octarian representative for the salmonids and is responsible for managing the trade deals and relationship between the two civillisations and armies. Hes loud, annoying and brash to many and dislikes Orion because he is jealous that he has more freedoms (as an overlooked family member). His sister Odaliah (she/they) leads the octarian submarine squadrons as well as exploration efforts (which are mostly underwater). Her and Odin have been genetically modified to withstand contact with water but she is slightly more water resistant. Unlike her brother she is very orderly and high society.
The last image are the two cousins I didnt include with the others, kinda because they are more secretive. Oluchi (she/her)(centre and right) leads the octarian secret spies and often goes into the field herself. Shes very serious and is not flamboyant like her cousins. She likes to talk with olive sometimes but often spends time with her brother Olufemi (he/him) (left), who went missing and was found sanitised in a vegitative state. His body has been hijacked by the mind of a mysterious anicent entity (a remnant of a 'human' in alterna and the most powerful enemy Troy will face) but this entity is in a deep sleep for now so no one knows what is going on with Olufemi!

Seattle’s Downtown Commercial Businesses Rat Infested
In downtown Seattle’s Commercial Businesses including construction sites are infested with rats. Summer is winding down around the area. Just know that rats can be year round problems. Rats are on the move looking for food, water and a home. Construction sites downtown Seattle are ideal spots. Think about what work crews can leave behind on a daily basis. Yes, food scraps and liquids. Restaurants are highly susceptible to rat infestations. Two businesses affected with rat infestations were a restaurant and a new building construction site. Both commercial buildings found downtown Seattle. Any time a few rats are seen could grow into something epic. A rat infestation demanded a pest control service company’s expertise. Both businesses got referred to AMPM Exterminators. The Commercial business managers both followed the advice of a business associate. AMPM AMPM Exterminators was the lifesaver. It was high priority to get rid of the rats with experienced and professional technicians.
Disease and airborne bacteria:
Rats cause a stressful environment and even panic. Employees and the public can be at high risk for disease and airborne bacteria. Neither of the business owners could put off taking care of the rat infestations. Both owners understood the dangers of contracting various diseases through contact with the rat droppings, nesting areas, or food that has been contaminated. There were television reports that airborne germs proved fatal in the Puget Sound Area due to rats. This could be deadly. Why take such a high risk in not using a professional pest control eliminator. AMPM Exterminators was ready and able to successfully provide the rat elimination service. Commercial Businesses in downtown Seattle have to take full measures in protecting the bottom dollar too.
Property damage and financial loss is a reality:
Rats can leave behind massive damage to the properties that are rat infested. Financial loss is inevitable and costly. Attics and crawl spaces are contaminated due to droppings and urine and a whole separate service and cost. Nasty rats love to chew on electrical wires and wood. As horrible as it sounds rats will eat contaminated food and animal feces. Rats destroy peace of mind and creates a feeling of being unsafe for employees and owners. Which can result in absenteeism from work. No one wants to work in those type of conditions, the potential for financial loss

Downtown Seattle Construction Sites Rat Infested:
Take a look at downtown Seattle and see the amount of construction that sites are in existence. It's late Summer in Seattle and the rat population is ready for a Season change. Fall will be arriving in a few short weeks. Rats have been vacationing in Summer homes but now ready for new places. It's like the rats radar is working overtime for bountiful food, shelter and water findings.

Hi first thing first i wanted to say just how much I love you and your writing about Victor.
Keeping the latest main story chapter where Victor loss his memory, can i ask for a fic where Mc is the one who loss her memory, everything about them. Angst, I wonder how would Victor react to the unexpected situation where she forgot everything about him and things they did together.
Thank you for your kind words! I've prepared a little something for you. I hope you like it!
Drizzling rain ran down the office windows, as cold and grey as the heart of the man sitting in a wing-backed chair with a pen between his fingers. Down below, the city moved in slow motion as the water on the streets brought caution to travelers with its risk of wet socks or loss of control. It would likely turn to an invisible coat of slick ice overnight, rendering it even more dangerous when the morning broke.
Just like the feeling of losing the object of one’s addiction and adoration. Invisible, but a hazard nonetheless. Despite the multiple warnings he had received, Victor nonetheless felt unprepared to handle the consequences of breaking the rules. While the girl remembered none of their time together, their actual circumstances had not changed. As such…she would arrive at his office any moment to give her report and depart.
Or this exact moment.
A tap on the door prompted Victor’s eyes to raise from the page in front of him and linger briefly on the stained wood. “Come in.” He looked back down, drawing a breath deep into his lungs in an effort to put out the raging inferno within his chest. Despite its encasement of ice, the fiery talons dug into the soft tissue of his heart in an attempt to tear it asunder.
This was their first meeting since the consequences of his actions hit full-force and tore the girl’s memories away. Her blank eyes and simply polite expression plunged Victor back into the darkness of that night, though the careful bricks he’d spent a lifetime laying allowed his face to remain impassible.
“Proceed with the report.”
She nodded and passed a copy of the paperwork to Victor, which he gripped firmly to prevent any trembling in his hands. Those dark eyes swept up and down the active and familiar form, nearly pulling the corner of his lip upwards toward them. Yet they fell short as he remembered the liveliness he saw was because of her passion toward her work, not because of their history.
And passionate she was. A light seemed to fill every cell of her body as the girl presented her company’s accomplishments. Her hands gestured widely and her smile dominated her face. He loved that smile. Even though it was no longer aimed at him, its warmth still managed to soak into his soul like the sun on his face. Victor found himself so mesmerized by her liveliness that he almost didn’t realize she had fallen silent.
“So? Did we meet the CEO’s expectations?” The girl stared fervently into Victor’s eyes in the same way she always had, but her expression lacked the deeper emotions behind it that he was used to. He cleared his throat and sat up a little straighter, mentally ensuring the impassive mask was securely in place.
“Your company hit all the benchmarks that had been set for the quarter, but is still lacking in these three areas.” Victor scratched away at the report and extended it toward the girl. “I expect improvement on them before the mid-quarter report.” The girl frowned, understanding now why Anna had spent so long talking her into doing the reports from now on. The CEO was intimidating, with eyes of obsidian and a spine as straight as a pine tree.
She knew that handling their financial support had always been Anna’s job, but the girl couldn’t help the nagging feeling that she’d at least seen the CEO somewhere. “One final question, Sir. Have…we met before? You look familiar, but I don’t remember ever actually being introduced.” She gave her name and extended her hand with a smile on her face. “Either way, I suppose we’ll be getting much better acquainted with me taking over these reports permanently!”
How did such a simple question have the power to reach into his chest and grind his tender heart into dust? Victor restrained the impulse to place a hand over his aching chest and shook his head. “No. This is the first time we are meeting. Since you claimed that as your last question, you are free to go.” And by that, he obviously meant ‘I want you out of my office,’ which the girl picked up on instinct.
The inquisitive and conflicted glint had not left her eye, but the girl backed out of the office with her report in hand and closed the door behind her. No sooner had she sealed the opening to his sanctuary than Victor’s proud shoulders dropped and his hand finally made its way to his heart. He let out a pained groan and clenched his other fist tightly. What kind of boon had it really been to allow Victor to keep his memories?! Would it not have been kinder to spare him this pain by wiping out the past and allowing them both to start over?
But such things were not often granted to him. The pain intensified until the corners of his eyes could no longer contain the tears Victor fought to keep back. He wasn’t even sure if the pain was physical or emotional at this point, but either way it was all-consuming.
His hand went to the dark phone on his desk and flicked to the girl’s contact out of instinct. He was halfway through asking if she’d prefer pudding or cake for dessert when the completely blank conversation caused him to stop. That’s right…she would not be there for dinner. Or for watching some sappy television show before bed. Or for wrapping his arms around tightly as he drifted off to sleep.
Victor dropped the phone and turned to the window, peering into the growing gloom through the rivulets of water running down the glass. How many times would this reality hit him? He pressed his hand to the glass and stared out over the lights of the city, feeling as empty as the streets that reflected the skies.
Far out in the distance, the light atop the Loveland TV tower shone through the storm. Perhaps…there was always a small beacon in the darkness. He turned his head back to his phone as an idea brewed behind his stormy eyes.
Zero only said their memories had to be dissolved. He said nothing about making new ones.
"I will be attending a conference with the heads of Loveland TV next week. Arrange your schedule so you can attend with me for networking. If you expect to improve viewership as I required in our meeting, you need to make connections."

Hello. I have a question. I have Capricorn ruling the second house with the Moon in it. The Lord of Capricorn is in the 12th house. Could you please tell me why I am able to manage and organize money the way you have described for Capricorn in the second house?
Capricorn 2nd house + Moon 2nd house + Ruler of 2nd house in 12th house

Hello Siren!
I hope I understood the question correctly, but you want to delve deeper into your 2nd house, so let's break it down first:
Capricorn ruling the 2nd house: Capricorn is an earth sign associated with practicality, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility. When Capricorn rules the second house, it emphasizes the importance of financial stability and long-term planning in your life. You have a natural inclination towards managing your finances and ensuring security for the future.
The Moon in the 2nd house: The Moon represents emotions and instincts, and when it is placed in the second house of money and possessions, it suggests a strong emotional connection to financial matters. You may have a keen sense of your financial needs and a desire for financial security. Your emotions are likely involved in your decision-making process when it comes to money management.
Saturn in the 12th house: The Lord of Capricorn, Saturn, being in the 12th house indicates a need for careful introspection and reflection when it comes to financial matters. You may have a practical and disciplined approach to managing your money, but you also value the importance of taking time to reflect and evaluate your financial decisions.
The combination of these factors suggests that you have an innate ability to be organized, methodical, and self-controlled when it comes to your finances. I see that when a Ruler of a house ruled by earth signs (Capricorn/Taurus/Virgo) falls in the 12th house it doesn't have as much difficulty compared to the others (and I think that's what you're probably thinking, "how come I have ease if the ruler is in the 12th house"). These signs do a better job with the needs of this house, molding themselves to those needs since earth and water are compatible. From that, you take pride in your financial wisdom and value stability and setting yourself up for a better future. Your cautious and calculated approach, along with your knack for organization and responsibility, enables you to handle business and financial matters effectively.
Kisses from the Sea!

Have you read 'A Declaration for the Rights of Magicians' by H.G. Parry and if so what are your thoughts on Necromancer Robespierre I am so very curious
Brief book thoughts: this book has like nine different types of magic (already exhausting, imo) and like many others of its breed, seems to have an allergic reaction to actually allowing that magic to have impacted the canon outcome of history in any way; one imagines that revolutionary France might not have struggled militarily against the rest of Europe if they'd had magic to draw on, or that the centuries-long possession of magic might have helped the Bourbons turn things around financially at several key points.
How in the world did like, France keep getting punched in the teeth with the English longbow during the Hundred Years War when they had access to weather magic? For that matter, how did the English Civil War ever get off the ground if their ruling class had magic? Was Oliver Cromwell a muggle or whatever? Why didn't the magical Bourbons just slide in on their heelies and help restore Bonny Charlie, who took shelter with them for years? What is going on here!!
But once you push that aside, I still find fantasy AUs like this pretty of juvenile. You take "magicians are oppressed" and lay that on top of the actual real world causes of the French Revolution, but the genre concept doesn't shed any light on what happened historically. It doesn't invite the reader to perceive events in a new way, or understand them with a deeper, if fantastical, nuance. It's often reductive when it comes to characters' motivations, and the narrative suffers for it.
Also, briefly, speaking of reductive: perhaps we should not say that the Haitian Revolution only took place after the slaves stopped being effected by magic "removes your willpower" potions. Indeed, perhaps we should not say that slavery takes place because of "removes your willpower" potions at all. Perhaps Haiti deserves better in the context of the larger French revolution and anti-colonial struggle. And perhaps, instead of having our narrators be Pitt the Younger, Robespierre, and a fictional enslaved woman, the author could have deigned to have Toussaint Louverture or Dutty Boukman in there. You know, so as not to reinforce the pernicious lie that Haiti did not have revolutionaries as named and brave and fucking noble as anyone in Paris.
However, you came here for my take on the book's take on Robespierre, and I bet by this point you can guess how that may go! The author certainly approaches him as a fully formed and sympathetic human being, the bare minimum of character writing, but not always what he gets, so points for that. But once we step outside of "once there was a man who had a beating heart just like the rest of humankind", we're in choppier waters.
In this book, Robespierre is a necromancer (a weirdly arbitrary choice), and a mesmerist, with the idea being that the latter accounts for the hold he had over the Convention and the people. Here we have man who is a poor public speaker, physically unremarkable, and something of a moral martinet. He doesn't have the charisma of some of his other colleagues, or their facility for making friends, or their intuitive political pragmatism. Give him magic, and he can mesmerize people into listening. Or leave him be, and explore how a man with all those qualities managed to stand at the head of a revolution, with people hanging on his every word. So, writer, who is a more interesting character? Who gives you more to sink your teeth into, even in a fantasy setting?
When the introduction of magic makes your characters worse, you've got a problem.
Also just going out on a limb here and saying that if Robespierre was a capable mesmerist, he probably wouldn't have gotten his shit wrecked on 9 Thermidor, one of history's most notable examples of losing control of a room.
