Aaliyah Dana Haughton, singer and film actress, was born in Brooklyn, NY, on this date January 16, 1979.
Aaliyah started voice lessons shortly after she learned to talk. Determined to be a star, she signed a contract with Jive Records at the age of 12. She followed that hit with a title role in the movie Queen of the Damned and in 2002 scored a major casting coup when she signed to appear in two upcoming sequels to the blockbuster sci-fi thriller The Matrix.
I have a coffee mug that I used to use at work that said "I'm on my break" in bold text, with the flip side saying "always" in small text and I can't help but imagine that as something Alice Dyer would absolutely use
When I was keeping spiders a few years ago I offered my rabid a crumb of cucumber just to see what would happen, honestly didn’t expect her to take a sip from it considering she had access to fresh water 24/7 haha
Every single pleasure I can imagine or have experienced is more delightful, more of a pleasure, if you take it in small sips, if you take your time. Reading is not an exception.
