Cosplayed as sun for the fnaf movie! Gonna post the process below :)

Cutting cardboard sucks shit.

Then it was mapping out the face and trying to mould it with news paper and masking tape (trust the process)

So much fucking MACHE

I had a rough time figuring out the eyes but then came paint and teeth

He was gonna spin but he was too strong too powerful so the rays were just painted and attached

The eyes we’re attached on the day of so I don’t have a progress shot besides the car trip to the cinema.

There’s a picture limit on fucking mobile so I can’t go into more details or show the pants so I’ll just use words :(

The pants were made by a friend of mine that didn’t dress up and honestly it was pretty last minute for them. I had to paint suns yellow stripes and it kinda looks bad so I leaned into it and decided to make him mud stained to lean into the scary I guess. The pants were meant to have elastic like moon but we ran out of time and we used suspenders to replace the frills. We also COMPLETELY forgot the ribbons. Sun was meant to have a bow :( we were running late. It ain’t a cosplay without everything going wrong.

I also made the moon mask as well as painted the star pants. I was working for ten hours the day of AND MY ELECTRICITY WAS OUT ALL DAY SO MY DRYING METHOD WAS THE FUCKING SUN I WAS STRESSING.

Anyways it all turned out good! It was a lot of fun and I might do a few more cosplays or wear this one to a con in June. I do also wanna say a thanks to @adorablemew for dealing with me never shutting the FUCK up about this damn thing and for dealing with me over the last month. Cosplay really is fun when you let it be. Anyways that’s all ig.
