Note

Have Speed and Wiccan ever interacted with Vision since their reentry into the marvel universe? Anything I have seen of them interacting with their preincarnation families post children's cruisade is with Wanda and occasionally Pietro (though that makes sense given the minimoffs story has a greater impact on Wanda narrative wise)

I've never seen them interact with Vision, but then again I haven't read every Minimoff appearance yet.

Wanda Maximoff x fem!reader.

Translations: “Detka.” Baby.

“Amor.” Love.

Word count: 775.

Masterlist.

You and Wanda were first time parents and to say you were nervous about it was a complete understatement.

Your wife had just given birth one week ago and in the 10 years that you and Wanda have been together your wife has always displayed qualities that proved she would someday be a great mother, but the same really couldn’t be said for you.

It’s not that you hated children or anything, quite the opposite. In fact, when your wife brought up the idea that she wanted a family you agreed wholeheartedly.

Wanting mini Wanda’s and mini you’s running around your home one day. But you just were never quite as experienced when it came to children like your wife.

So when the time came to bathe your newborn twins you were filled with an irrational fear that you’d hurt them.

Them being the tiniest little humans you’ve ever held, you were afraid of the ways you could accidentally cause them pain.

“Relax detka, you’ll be fine,” your wife says softly from beside you, as she joins you in the bathroom, seeing your internal struggle as you hold a newborn Billy securely in your arms.

“But Max, what if I drop him into the water while bathing him and he chokes, or what if I accidentally get shampoo in his little eyes and blind him or something?” You say aloud, voice shaky with fear.

“My love, you will do no such a thing, it’ll all be okay,” Wanda says, placing a comforting hand on your shoulder.

“Alright, I trust you,” you say softly. “Okay it’ll all be fine Y/N, you can do this,” you say to yourself, talking yourself up to help settle your nerves.

“So the first thing you want to do is make sure the water temperature is fine,” your wife says from beside you, having put Tommy down to sleep after his own bath so all her attention can be on you to help ensure you didn’t get any more nervous than you already were. “If the water is too hot for you, then it is too hot for the babies,” your wife says and you nod. “Okay, now hold his head like this,” Wanda instructs, placing your hand under Billy’s head and the base of his neck as you carefully and gently place your son into the small tub.

“Like this?” You ask, nervous eyes glancing at the red head quickly.

“Yes, baby, you got it,” Wanda assures, her soft tone causing you to feel calm.

“He’s so tiny, babe,” you whisper in awe, eyes twinkling in surprise as you take in how small your son truly is.

“He is,” your wife smiles, taking in your proud features. “Now, slightly wet the top of his head,” Wanda instructs and you do as told, “okay, once his head is damp put a few droplets of shampoo on his head and softly lather it.”

“Am I doing it right?” You question softly as you massage small circles onto Billy’s head.

“Yes detka, you’re doing so good, you’re a natural,” your wife says, as you shoot her a proud beaming smile.

As you continue bathing your son with few instructions from your wife you feel your heart swell with pride once you’re done, having not injured your son during his first bath and feeling much more confident in your abilities as a mother.

“There, all done,” you breathe in relief once you finish dressing Billy and laying him in his crib, “he’s down for some of the night, I hope,” you say smiling at having accomplished what you believed was an impossible task.

“You did amazing, baby,” Wanda beams from beside you, turning to face you, her arms going around your neck.

“All thanks to you Max, I certainly couldn’t have done it without you,” you say, wrapping your arms around her waist.

“You truly are a natural my love, I mean it. We just need to get you out of that pretty little head of yours. Look, Billy is fast asleep and free of harm, you did such a good job bathing him, I’m sure this is the first of many amazing things you will do with our sons and I’m so glad you’re the person I get to share these moments with detka,” your wife says placing a chaste kiss on your lips, turning around in your arms to admire your sleeping sons.

“I’m so glad I get to share these moments with you too Max, and that you’re the mother of our children, thank you for this, amor, for expanding our family,” you say, as you place a soft kiss on her cheek.

(and it’s worse because her powers wouldn’t even let her die in dsmom, which means she’s got a long way to go before ever seeing them again, so westview or her dreams are the closest she can get to being reunited with them)

Seeing as how the Minimoff twins are a topic of discussion right now because of the rumored Billy casting for Agatha: Coven of Chaos, I just want to take this moment to say:

I think it’s really funny that Billy in a way is ethnically Jewish twice over- first via Wanda if we ignore the Magneto retcon, and then again via the Kaplans.

Meanwhile, Tommy in the same way is canonically from New Jersey twice over.

It’s like Marvel/the universe said “you make no sense, but you have to have some consistency” and somehow that is what made it through when the twins were reincarnated back into the main universe.

As a Jewish New Jerseyan, it’s particularly hilarious to me.

so y'all prolly know that I'm working on an MCU Young Avengers/Champions thing. And obviously the Minimoff twins have to be there. Question is, how?

In the comics, Billy and Tommy were said to be reincarnated. And the time frame is such that it is possible the switch could've happened when the host bodies were babies, or even before that. There's no dilemma as to what happened to the original souls of the Kaplan's and the Shepherd's sons. If they died, no one would notice.

But given the current timeline of the movies, the reincarnation has to put them in bodies of children who are already ten (or older)

Do you think they just popped into existence? Or one day that original William Kaplan and Thomas Shepherd woke up looking completely different??? Or they retroactively have implanted memories of always being like this???

So many possibilities. Please discuss them w me. And keep in mind I'm talking abt a fanfiction and not the future of this franchise

what do you think of lorna and erik's relationship, i always see fans talk about wanda and pietro's disastrous relationship to magneto but not much for lorna

I think their relationship needs to be explored more. Marvel never puts enough focus on Lorna even though she's one of their oldest x-men characters, and she's more of Magneto's heir than Wanda or Pietro because she has the same powerset as he does, her time in Genosha should be revisited and I just wish there was some direction for her because Marvel is missing out on a lot of potential. I feel like because she didn't interact with Magneto the same way the Twins did her relationship with him is different. After all, she didn't know about Erik until she was much older. The animated series, Wolverine and the X-Men makes Lorna out to be a daddy's girl, his princess daughter, who is meek and naïve, and I feel a lot of people try to use that for the comic version even though that doesn't work. While she was treated as a princess on Genosha she wasn't meek. She has a lot of strength, and anger. She was upset when she found out the truth about Magneto being her father. However I feel like Marvel is literally allergic to ever exploring more between them. Like so much of Lorna's character trauma is wrapped up in Genosha and the genocide of the mutants, but Marvel doesn't lean into that or her time with Magneto as much as I would like.

Lorna doesn't trust Magneto, and I don't think she ever will trust him fully, but also I feel like Magneto hasn't really done anything for any of his children to prove they can trust him. He has so many issues.

X-Men: Blue (2017) #10

At this point I feel that Lorna can carry a civil conversation with Magneto because her trauma is different than Pietro and Wanda's trauma. However it's like Erik is her estranged father she hadn't seen in years and they don't have a close relationship built on trust and love, it's more out of obligation. She sees him because he's her biological father, she doesn't always agree with him and there's this barrier between them that won't be bridged unless Marvel writers put the effort into their relationship and that would mean diving deep into who Lorna is as a character and her place in the x-men universe.

I really wish Marvel would commit to exploring the messy and emotional relationship the magnet family has with a focus on each of the kids and how they view Magneto, it would be really cool to have a comic series devoted to that, like I imagine Lorna, Wanda, and Pietro all have very complex feelings about Magneto, and I'd love to see that explored more and vice versa, how does Magneto view his children, etc. and for Luna and the Minimoffs to be included would be great.

The Little Things in Life

26. “This reminded me of you.”

word count: 1.1

Love just never seemed to be in the books for Agatha and she had grown used to that. The many years of hiding out from people who wanted to harm her taught her that all that she needed was herself and no other person, that is thought until she had you one day.

It felt like something in all those cheesy romantic Comedies if she has to be honest. Agatha has volunteered to grocery shop for Wanda while she and vision were at home enjoying being brand new parents to twin sons. She didn’t have anything else do to since she was off work for the day so might as well be helpful to her friend. After a good 10 minutes of shopping and you had gotten her attention by looking at all of the different options for milk. She didn’t blame you cause there was alot.

“ you know for a beverage like milk, I don’t get why we need so many variations,” Agatha says and you jump a little at not seeing her approach you.

“ Oh my god,” you squeal, not noticing the brunette pop up next to you, too zoned out in the milk section trying to choose one.

“ Oh my god, I didn’t mean to scare you-”

“ It’s fine all fine miss,” you pause to let her introduce herself.

“ Harkness, my name is Agatha Harkness and you must be new in town dear. I know practically everyone in town and I don’t recall seeing you”.

“ y/n, and yeah this is my second day here in town but this is my first time shopping for groceries without a roommate to help me. Never thought I'd struggle to buy milk of all things.”

Though Agatha had gotten all the groceries for herself and the Maximoffs, taking some time out of her day to help you wouldn’t hurt at all.

That one conversation leads to what she considers to this day to be a love story ever after years of just being on her own. She never failed to mention her love for you every day and today was one of those days, as she made her weekly trip to the flower shop in town the owner of the shop had just recently gotten a new order of flowers.

“ Are these new flowers today Mr. Mansfield?”

“Always a good eye to notice new things, Harkness,” he says, “ Lucy got a recommendation from our grandson to plant these for a crush of his and we decided it would be a good idea to add them to the shop as well”. God did the older witch love this flower ship and the flowers they had?

20 more minutes of small talk and the witch left with a bouquet for you, one of your favorite drinks, and a cute little stuffed animal that you talk a lot about and she heads off with a smile on her face. Her way of showing her love to you was always gifted and she never failed to notice the way your eyes lit up and how happy her heart felt when you gave her a big hug.

Once she comes back home, Agatha is greeted at the door by Ebony, who purred in delight to see her back before leaving her to go do his daily exploring. She searches for you all over the house until she finds you in the garage, getting some laundry done. While she would have wanted to surprise you, the sound of the door opening immediately got your attention to greet her with a hug.

“ Aggie my love bug,” you squeal in delight, always missing her even when she’s been gone a couple of hours.

“ Did Ebony make sure to protect you from any harm while I was gone ?”

“ Well, he did until the Minimoffs came over to pick up some stuff for their mom and he just had to act all cute,” you dramatically roll your eyes, and your girlfriend giggles. For a cat who always tried to act like he ruled the house, he seemed to crumble when it came to little attention.

“Ebony,” Agatha starts while grabbing the young cat,” how many times do I tell you that you need to protect my woman here from any danger? I might just have to reduce your pay from a couple treats a week if you continue with this work ethic my dear ebony,” and the cat meows back at the older woman. You giggle at how a strict, mean-looking woman like Agatha Harkness could look so soft and adorable lecturing her cat.

Once Agatha made sure the Cat understood that she met business, your girlfriend took your hand to lead you to the kitchen where you saw a bouquet of purple Peony flowers, another squishmallow to add to your growing collection, and what seems to be one of your favorite coffee drinks from the local coffee shop.

“ Did you buy me all this?” and she nods.

“ Agatha my love, you didn’t even need to buy me all this stuff,” You say looking at the beautiful bouquet she got, the pretty light purple catching your eye. A small squishmallow that you had been looking to buy for the past couple of weeks but never seem to be able to find as everyone seemed to want it and an iced coffee from the shop you go to before heading to work.

“ This reminded me of you,” she starts,” coffee to treat my baby, the silly stuffed animal that I know you’ve been trying to find in your free time, and the bouquet of Peonies to show all of the love that I have for you. All these little things just remind me about my infinite love for you and I wanted to treat my best girl.”

Both of you were standing in the kitchen crying, Agatha had always been so fearful and scared of love that when you had come into her life that day in the grocery store, she was forever thankful that she had you in her life after years of being alone.

Before Agatha started talking more, you placed your lips on hers, showing her that she was loved by you, and how much you appreciated her. After a couple of minutes of an intense makeout session, she pulls you away from her, needing to get some air and she giggles at the look on your face.

“ I love you aggie,” you tell her.

“ Love you too sweet y/n,” she says back.

At this moment Agatha realized that It was all the little things that made her so happy to have you in her life.

i think what most people are saying isn't "Billy and Tommy shouldn't be in the tournament because they aren't mutants" I think its because they aren't X affiliated. Being a mutant doesn't make them automatically affiliated with X-Men. I understand that the tournament is for mutants and not X-Men, but I still want them out.

That’s fair. The reason for our misinterpretation of that sentiment could be pinned on the fact that Molly Hayes was the target of almost none of those criticisms, though her level of X-affiliation appears to be similar to that of the Minimoff twins. What you’re saying does make sense, though.

Natasha looked up from her mind-numbing mission reports when she heard light footsteps approaching her office.

From the shuffling strides, she knew exactly who they belonged to and a smile curled her lips upwards when she spotted Tommy and Billy standing in the doorway. They looked well-behaved — too well-behaved, wide-eyed with their hands behind their backs — and she immediately knew something was up.

“What do you want, Minimoffs?” she asked, her smile turning into a smirk when their eyes widened even more. “Out with it.”

“Tell her,” Tommy hissed, shoving Billy’s shoulder.

“No, you tell her,” Billy hissed back, and Natasha’s smirk broadened.

“How about you both tell me?” she suggested, an eyebrow shooting upwards.

The boys shared a look, having a silent conversation. Natasha had always been in awe of their connection, much like Wanda and Pietro’s, even her and Yelena’s to a certain degree, and yet something that was so distinctly them that no one else was privy to.

“We need your help,” Billy eventually said, always the soft one, sweet where his other half was more abrasive.

It meant he usually got stuck asking for things because it was more likely they would get it than if Tommy did it.

“What for?” she asked, rather intrigued.

She had always been close to them, even closer after she and Wanda started dating, but whenever they needed something, they usually went to Pietro, or Steve, even Yelena — Natasha had yet to have been sought out by the twins for any problem-solving.

Steve was out of town, on a month-long mission, but they still had Pietro and Yelena around.

“We want to make mom something for Mother’s Day,” Tommy said. “Breakfast and flowers and a present.”

“We tried asking Uncle P for help,” Billy explained. “But he said we could just take flowers from the scary neighbor’s garden and Aunt Yelena intervened, saying we needed adult supervision.”

“She didn’t offer to be the supervision?” Natasha asked amusedly.

“She did,” Tommy shrugged. “But then she said she was going to steal the flowers herself and Billy said we needed someone else.”

“So I’m your last option?” she clarified, smiling when they blushed.

“Please?” they said in unison, twin charming grin stretching their faces.

She could put up more of a fight, pretend to be hurt being their last resort (which she wasn’t); but it was a secret to no one how much the second batch of Maximoff twins had her wrapped around their finger.

“Come on, let’s form a plan.”
