Look I know that the Carol/Valkyrie scene was Marvel literally doing the bare fucking minimum and I shouldn't be praising them for it but I'm just happy that it's at least explicit enough that straight people can't ignore it.

GENEVIEVE BUJOLD in ANNE OF THE THOUSAND DAYS (1969)
She was a tiny, seemingly fragile woman made of steel — willful, passionate, intense. She was exactly the actress I wanted to play Anne Boleyn. Even her French accent was perfect. I hired the girl without meeting her or testing her. Her name was Genevieve Bujold. She was a very special personality, perfect for Anne. But when we needed Genevieve to be at her best, we were faced with the unwelcome visit of Elizabeth Taylor. Elizabeth swept onto the set with her entourage and settled down into her seat. Genevieve was fighting mad. She turned to Charles Jarrott and me and said, "I'm going to give that bitch an acting lesson she'll never forget!" She took her position in front of the camera. What seemed a misfortune suddenly turned into an advantage. Genevieve flung herself into the scene with a display of acting skill I have seldom seen equaled in my career. Then she stormed off the set. Soon after, she was nominated for Best Actress and hailed by critics as the new Hepburn. - Hal Wallis, producer of Anne of the Thousand Days

Right at the very beginning of 2x01, when Ava gets to the bar late for her shift and Hans tells her she’s late? And her reply is “my roommate forgot to set the alarm” and Hans’ reply is that super sarcastic “yeah, okay”
The somewhat hidden layer here is Ava incorrectly uses the masculine form of “my roommate” - mein mitbewohner instead of meine mitbewohnerin
So maybe Ava just has bad beginner German (highly possible) but also maybe her German is decent and she’s trying to hold up some ridiculous cover story about her and Beatrice not living together. Except Hans has 0% fallen for any of this and clearly knows who actually runs Ava’s life schedule and now it’s turned into an inside joke because Bea still doesn’t want to break the cover story

If you had to turn someone into a kenstewy truther with only one of their scenes, which one would you pick?
really good question.. first and most obvious answer I think would either be 'go to the bathroom have a little sth sth' combined with the whole bathroom scene or the friend card scene.
but this question had me thinking back to when it clicked for me that there is more to them, and weirdly the very first time I watched the show I did not really pick up on kenstewy for a while (even though I was already convinced ken was bi from ep 1 on, don't ask me how that works. but that's also why I think kenstewy isn't the strongest evidence for bi ken but I digress). Like I was raising my eyebrows at the friend card scene like okay what's all this then, but was telling myself I'm probably just reading too much into it .... but what actually did it for me was the josh aaronson / stewy hug with kendall watching from the plane window lmao. don't ask me why. but something about this
had me like. hold on a minute. even though the scene isn't even that loaded with subtext or anything, like of course Ken's defeated and devastated about losing Josh's vote, like whatever. but for some reason that's what did it for me and then I went back to their other scenes like. okay actually these bitches are gay and I was not reading too much into it lmao. so idk, if the first ones i mentioned don't work to convince that real or hypothetical person of kenstewy try this one!

Johnny and Fighting
Johnny was excited to be given a fight scene. Look at him, he was so happy!
And that was before he knew it was a dance scene, so he thought it was an actual fight/stage combat scene.
And I know it’s never confirmed or anything but it would make sense if he was excited since he was good at sparring. If it was something he liked and already knew.
Especially when we see Rosita’s and Meena’s reactions to Johnny’s excitement. They don’t seem surprised, in fact they kinda seem more in the category of “of course you are playing the role, this is a perfect fit”. And judging by how close Johnny is with both of them, treating them like close friends/family throughout the movie, they would probably know about his love of boxing/sparring.
We see the boy boxing a bit (very half heartedly but a lot had just happened) in Sing 1 but this reaction to hearing his scene leans towards him actually enjoying it.
And who do we see boxing for fun in Sing 1? Marcus, Johnny’s father.
Maybe it was a way for him and Marcus to bond. It would have been something they both liked. Sparring and fighting would have been a way for him to have something in common with his dad, and he was so excited to be able to show that off.
