Second, best friends to lovers with Bucky (or Ben)? I imagine you sneak out to see him and vice versa after a bad day at home. You know everything about each other. He even took you to prom and the photos are some of your favorites of the two of you.

And the rando comment about you two being together? You're thankful he doesn't say, "No, no way. We're just friends!" and that glimmer of hope becomes a bright light inside you. The fact that you don't brush it off quickly either gives him hope, too. He'd be lying if he said he hadn't thought about it before. Because who better to be with than the person who knows him better than anyone else? His beautiful, amazing, compassionate best friend?

I have some ideas for cyborg!reader, what if:

• They are made by a student from RSA to spy on NRC or they had a friend in NRC and they use them to communicate. But then, the robot became sentient and had their own life so the RSA student goes to NRC to try and reprogram it but was stopped by the cyborg’s beloved.

• A student made them because they were lonely but envied how social and lively they are so they destroyed and discarded them, much to a few people’s dismay.

• They were an old robot found by Yuu in Ramshackle, the ghosts claim that an old student who was placed in Ramshackle instead of Ignihyde made them before they died due to an incurable illness. Suddenly, the robot comes to life and is sentient, yet clueless of the new modern technology and customs. The truth is, thet were possessed by the old student but had no memory of their past life.

• Made to be a bodyguard of an Ignihyde student but became sentient when someone treated them more like a human and they fell in love, so the Ignihyde student let them free to become their own person
