Fairytales au (edited)
Here's an edit to my fairytales au:
In this AU, there are several kingdoms where they have magical spirits from their ancestors, their names also change, in this case the Mushroom Kingdom is called Mush Kingdom, Yoshi's island is called Yoshies Kingdom and the Darklands are called Dark kingdom
Peach was born in the Mush kingdom along with her father after the death of her mother, Peach's father was a Swordfighter who worked for Mario and Luigi's Mornay
At the age of 14, Peach's father dies and she is sent to an orphanage, at 16 she is adopted by Toadworth and they move to Yoshies Kingdom
Peach studied to become a swordfighter like her father and protect the Mush Kingdom again, so she entered an academy to learn how to fight
Peach met Yoshi, who is a prince in this AU, the two became friends and Yoshi also helped her become a swordfighter
Now let's jump to when Peach is 25 years old, she manages to return to the Mush Kingdom, but she became a swordfighter
The girl noticed that the Mush Kingdom has changed a lot, but she remembers where the places are
On the 1st day, Peach meets Daisy, another swordfighter who also works for Mush Mingdom, they soon become friends and Daisy introduces the castle to Peach
Daisy was born in Sara Kingdom with her father, at the age of 22, she moved to the Mush Kingdom because she wanted to become a swordfighter and also had a mystical connection with the ancient fairies of the kingdom
The new swordfighter is shown to Princess Mario and Princess Luigi, soon Peach falls in love with Mario
I could tell that Peach's mission was to protect Mario and Luigi, along with Daisy and the Toads
But it also doesn't present Peach's life, nor other people's lives, perhaps Daisy took Peach to see other places and meet her friends
Rosalina is a poet well known for her poetry and charitable works for orphaned children who is a close friend of Daisy
Pauline is a shoemaker who works alongside her mother, where she is good friends with Rosalina
Wario, Waluigi and Wapeach open their own bakery, Waluigi is a close friend of Daisy, maybe Daisy can take Peach to their bakery
Shokora has her own flower shop, where she makes thousands of plants from different kingdoms Waluigi buys Piranha Plants in his store
Bowser is the king of the Darks Kingdom, where he wants the power of the ancestors of the Mush Kingdom, while King Boo is the ancestor of the Darks Kingdom.
And here are some more facts about this AU:
Even though we will have a Mareach, we will have Luaisy, Walsalina, Yosirdo, maybe we'll have some Warokora and Harauline.
Daisy has a connection with her Mush Kingdom ancestors, which made her live in the Mush Kingdom
The AU would also have thousands of character flashbacks. (I would post some images)
Unfortunately, there are some characters that I didn't have ideas for in my AU, like Peasley and Geno, so if you have any ideas, feel free to ask.
And that is guys! Bye!

The Girl with the Wolf
Eilae woke up. A layer of fur covering her body, keeping the cold of the Eastern wind of Skrae from killing her. The nine year old looked around, she was in the middle of Soiwei, a forest, far from the main trail, she would rather not follow that. Only three more days, till she reached the docks in the kingdom of Stoeplare. She felt her makeshift bed rise and fall as it breathed, she slowly pushed off her best-friend’s tail which was acting as a blanket. She stumbled sleepily towards her pet’s face, running her hand along his fur. The creature’s black fur was covered with dirt and grime along with branches, grass and leaves, and Eilae was in no better condition. Hopefully they would come across a lake before they reached town.
She patted the creature's muzzle.
“Arok,” she said half sleepily.
“Arok, get up,” she scratched behind his ear, emitting a soft growl from him which meant he wanted to sleep more, but they didn’t have time for that. She walked to his belly and pushed him, he barely stirred. The creature was ten times bigger than her or probably much more. After several minutes of yelling, pushing and bribing, Arok opened his dark brown eyes which reminded her of the cocoa beans that came in from the west to her village, she never had one, they didn’t have enough money. The beans were meant for those in higher classes.
“Good boy,” she said, earning a lick on her face. Arok stood up revealing his height of ten feet, fur as black as the midnight sky of the Dark lands.
Her father had brought Arok to the village when she was a year old and he was only a few weeks old. They had though he was a dog at first but after a couple of months and eating habits they realised he was was a wolf and after a year or two when Arok didn't stop growing they found out that he was a Lironian wolf from the forests of Liose, a fearsome breed of humongous wolves, known for their hunting and untamable nature, kill on sight instinct. As far as she knew there was only one who had been tamed and that was Arok, because he grew up among humans.
Arok bowed down, allowing Eilae to tie on some reins made of rope which she had picked off a merchant’s cart. He then got down on his limbs to let the little girl climb onto his back. Then they rode.
She could feel the jerks of Arok’s body every time he hit the ground and pushed off for the next step, something she had gotten used to. She felt the wind ruffle her hair in a wave-like movement, and whistle a song of speed. She had turned her face away from the wind trying to avoid getting dust in her eyes. She would have usually buried herself in Arok’s fur, but she didn’t want to get more dirty than she already was.
She didn't know how long they had been travelling, Lironian wolves were also known for their stamina. Arok slowed down and then came to a stop. Letting out a low growl. Eilae knew him long enough to know that it meant he couldn’t go any further. She slowly climbed down using his tail as a rope. She stumbled as she walked, having lost the feel of her legs, using Arok for support.
“Stoeplare,” she muttered to herself, as she caught sight of the kingdom from the trees of the thick forest. Stoeplare was a kingdom of canals. The houses were built on stilts or on trees, bridges that hung from one tree to another. Shops were in boats, which travelled looking for customers, the whole place was tinted orange and pink. The autumn leaves flowed on the river, pushed aside by boats creating a beautiful orange glow on the sides of the canals. The boats on the river had merchants and vendors of all sorts. Some boats were serving street food, meat covered with spices on sticks cooked on a sizzling fire, sweets of all shapes and sizes, fruit cut into slices being sold in bowls. Eilae’s mouth watered, she had been sharing Arok’s hunt. He would bring in piles of rabbit or a deer or two or anything he could find. She would cut a small piece out of that for herself, she never really ate much, cook it over a fire and a couple of berries and herbs found in the wild would be her meal. She had been going on like that for a week or two and she was not a good cook.
Eilae had no money on her, she had to steal from the last town she had been in and having a lironian wolf was a perfect distraction.
“Stay here,” she instructed Arok, who sat down.
“When I whistle you run in, scare some people but don't harm anyone,” she instructed, getting a growled yes for a reply.
She sneaked into the marketplace. The people of Stoeplare dressed differently from the ones in Fraeone, which was where she came from. They wore a skirt tied in a pattern to form pants and a blouse, it was similar for men and women with slight variations. Along with that they wore an odd garment which Eilae had not seen before, a rectangle or a circular piece of cloth with a hole in the middle to pass their head through. Some of them were wearing them over their blouses, probably meant to keep the cold away. She walked through the crowd nicking one of those rectangular garments from an overcrowded stall and pulling it on to blend in. It was a little over sized but it would be fine.
She stood in front of a food stall, selling ready made rice with lamb curry along with crispy fried honey covered chicken legs. She let out a low continuous whistle knowing Arok’s sharp hearing would catch it. Shouts emitted from the edge of the forest and boats started turning around a loud ground shaking howl emitted from a giant black wolf that had appeared from the forest. The vendor in the Eilae was standing in front had jumped into the water, his boat to heavy to be rowed away quickly from what they thought was a ferocious beast. Eilae took her chance and jumped into the boat sticking one of the chicken legs into her mouth, she grabbed a sac which had about half a kilogram of uncooked riced in it and started dumping the cooked food in empty containers and the now filled containers into the sac, she found a woven pot filled with silver coins and put that into the sac too.
She pulled the sac out of the boat once she was done, she fell forward because of the momentum and bruised her knees, she let out another whistle this time louder. Eilae tried to stand up but her knees bled and her body gave out, someone pushed her and she hit her head on a wooden pole. Her vision swirled and bile rose to her throat, she couldn’t find her bearings. The last thing she felt before the darkness rolled in was Arok gently picking her up in his mouth like a wolf did with the pups. She would be safe, she grew up with Arok and she trusted him to take care of her. The 10 year old fell unconscious.
“The wolf was going to eat her,” a distant voice reached Eilae’s ears.
“It was a linorian wolf, they are smart enough to not step into civilized areas, what was it doing there?” a woman's voice came through. It felt like she was underwater, the odd floating sensation along with the dissected voices.
“She is waking up,” a man said.
“Arok?” she muttered groggily.
“WHERE IS HE!” She demanded.Ellie had gotten used to waking up in a pillow made of Arok’s fur.
“Don’t worry the wolf won’t harm you,” the woman reassured. Eilae got up and ran. Thoughts racing through her mind a little too quickly to take them in. Where was he? She ran out of the little cottage where she had slept. The sound of a caged animal making her path, she could hear him, pleading to be let free.
Arok was in the field, ropes tying down each of his limbs, cuts from knives and swords bleeding. She struggled with the thick ropes struggling to undo the knots.
“Child! Do not untie the beast,” She heard the man yell, but Eilae did it anyway. The ropes loosened and fell down. Arok growled viciously but his glare was aimed at the adults and not her. He slowly paced around Eilae.
“He..he is protecting her,” they were stunned.
“Impossible!”
“We don’t mean to hurt your wolf or you. It was a mistake, we assumed you were his prey,” the woman surrendered. Eilae nodded at Arok and he plopped down. He had stopped growling but not glaring.
A man approached her, his hair the color of coal found in Eidaine, said to be blacker than the midnight sky. Eyes the same color of the forest of her kingdom, Fraeone. Arok let out a low growl when he was only a few feet away from them. He extended a hand to touch Arok’s fur but he bared his teeth.
“Let him,” Eilae allowed, trusting the man. The man reached out, hand shivering.
“He will attack if you show fear,” the little girl suggested. The man touched Arok’s fur and retreated his hand immediately but seeing that her pet did not attack, he reached out more confidently and ran his hand through his fur.
“He likes you,” Eilae mused.
“How can you tell?” the man asked.
“I know him”
“How did you tame him?” the woman asked.
“My father brought him to our home thinking he was a stray dog when I was a baby, we grew up together,”
“But that does not explain how, a linorian wolves are known to attack humans whether or not the man raised him,” the woman informed, “it has been proven too, a man died within a month of raising the wolf, he ate the man once he was fast enough.”
“Arok would never do that,” Eilae protested, hugging the creature, who licked her face to emphasize her point.
“We understand each other,” she said, determined to show them that Arok was not a threat.
“I believe we found our Crainilok, '' a man dressed in red from the back said. Eilae had never heard the word, Crainilok. The ‘Cr’ was sounded from the back of the throat reminding Eilae of a light cough.
“What?” she said, perplexed.
“A whisperer, an animal whisperer, a very rare ability indeed,” the red man was amused.
“She is too young,” the woman fought.
“Yet the only one we found after months of searching,” it soon escalated into a fight.
