love language
Tumblr media
Something about the different ways we perceive love: Could be – Love is blind, selfless, unconditional, self-sacrificing, or
Love is the “i will die with you” like Juliet and Romeo Love is the “through hardships and comfort with you” or Love is the “it’s you or none, beyond life” like an Annabel Lee to Edgar Allan Poe
Something about the different ways we give and take love In the five common languages –
Although i’ve always known the top three we have in connection:
Love through words of affirmation. your “your beauty is something i want to boast” in days i felt ugly the most. my “you did well today,” when i know, you felt inadequate in the worst way. the intimacy of hearing the words we both need when we can no longer say it to ourselves.
Love through quality time. the lingering anxiety we feel of not finding a suited perfume for you since you prefer shopping with me than receiving one in a fancy wrapper. the thrill as i coach you how to catch the stuff toy in the claw machine that i sucked, too. the enjoyment in making paper flowers, in watching old movies, of weekend picnics, and making waffles and pancakes – all with you. the intimacy of doing the things and of travelling places together, that we both used to do alone.
Love through acts of service. your “i made your notes and reviewers” because you observed i hate making them, and only study the PPTs. my “i packed you lunch” during our midterms, because you always skip your meals before exams. the intimacy of the line, “i know you can do it but let me do it for you this time,” or “i know you can take care of yourself, but let me join in.”
Something about the different ways we see love and passion, But similar ways of expression – makes its complexity seem more bewitching and wondrous.

a hidden gem
Tumblr media
Perhaps you were the hidden treasure buried back in 795 AD by the leprechauns and viking because you are too precious to be owned by any human being.
Perchance the pot of gold that the adventurers longed to behold. And a treasure, only found where the rainbows touch the ground.
Or maybe the buried treasure chest that the pirates marked as X. The one they travelled the seven seas, the wide ocean, even half of the world to possess.
Maybe it was you. For you were just as precious, just as valuable, as worth it for a quest, and one of a kind as those riches.
And maybe the odds were in my favor that it let the stars to guide me towards you somewhere in Ireland, under the rainbow, and in a trifling island.

you are your own belle
Tumblr media
To all the young ones who loved magic and fairytales, to all the beasts who were scared to reveal themselves and decided to hid behind the curtains, to all those who are waiting for their own Belle, and to all the believers of transformation because of love;
One day, the magic and fairytales we only believed in will be in our grasp, finally, not called make-beliefs but reality. The beasts in us that we've always been afraid to show; the resemblance we have to this creature like a buffalo, from the eyebrows like a gorilla, to the jaw and teeth and hair like a lion's mane will be known. Some time in the future, we will then met our own Belle who will lift the fairy's cursed spell, and will transform us from a monster back to a royal King.
But maybe this Belle does not need to be another character.
Mayhap the characters in this version of Beauty and the Beast do not play only a single role. If Belle's ring saved him from dying and if her love for the monster broke the enchantment behind his figure, then maybe we'll lose the beast in us if we love ourselves first. Maybe we don't need another character to save us from this disaster and  maybe we don't need love from another before we see how we are always more than a monster.

You're being emotional. It's understandable but unnecessary.
