From the moment I first joined task force 141 I had made it my goal not to talk to anyone more then just saying yes or no. It was no way to live, but at least it kept me from having to mention my past. I was not only the youngest on the force, but I was also the only girl which made things awkward as hell. I sat farthest away from everyone on missions, and also fidgeted with my nails when I My room was small, and the only thing in it was a king size bed. I had only one possession which was a picture of me and my sister before she died. I was four, so my memories were faint of her. I always remember how much she wanted me to grow up, and be a good person, but I wasn't. Now here I am sitting in the back of an old beat up truck I had found at some random persons house and started smoking. I had been paired with Ghost for some mission, and we were getting ready to head back to base when he "needed to do something" that God only knows what. I was getting ready to go look for him when I heard a meow from outside the truck. I look down to see a black cat who looked half starved, so I pick her up and sit her down in my lap. Her fur was soft for one of a strays, and it purred like it was happy. Maybe this cat was just a little but like me. I take another blow of my cigarette the search for my water on my vest. When I find it I put it in the side if the door or the cat to lap up.

"Your so pretty. I always loved cats but never got to have one since my parents were allergic. I'll name you Isla after my sister she's dead now though." I say to the cat in a soft tone as I speak for the first time in years. It felt strange but right at the same time.

"My sister she used to tell me to face the world with a smile, but look at where I am now. I just wanted to be a normal kid, but I was always told better seen and not heard. Guess I fulfilled that part of my parents plan." I say with a huff lying my head on the truck seat.

"I never knew you could talk (y/l/n). " I hear a man's voice say from the front seat. Jump a little and look to see a guy wearing a skull mask. Did I upset him by talking I wonder?

"I know how you fill, and I won't get mad." Ghost said softly. He pets the cat, and takes a cigarette from the pack.

"I won't tell anyone." He says and then walks off. Maybe I could get used to talking to someone on the task force every once and a while. Plues he is kinda cute in his own way.

The nights were long and lonely ever since I started this job, but it got worse when he left. That stupid chad of a man cheated on me with a lady he found at the bar. Did that year of being together mean nothing to him. Maybe I should've listened to them when they said stay away, but I thought they just wanted me for themselves. I hear a knock at the door and the first thing that comes to my mind is that it's Graves so I hide. I hear a knock again, but with a little more force to it this time.

"I don't have a key since you gave it to super stupid, oh and it's Soap. Ghost is here to, so will you let us in." I hear a man say in a strongly acciented voice. I stand up from the spot I was hiding in and wipe away my tears as best as I can hoping they won't notice. I can see the pissed off look in Soaps eyes as soon as I open the door, and Ghosts clenched his fists.

"Heard that Graves cheated, and we also heard that he was comein' to see you in about 10 minutes. We thought that we'd show him something he never could do." Soap says with a mischievous grin on his face. I look over at Ghost as he works on untying his boots shoe laces. Soap then takes off his shirt revealing his toned abs and biceps. He then pins me to the wall throwing his shirt to the side, and it lands on Ghosts face. The tall Brit gets up and puts his hand on Soaps shoulder.

"Are you ok with doing this darling?" Ghost asks kindly for a brut man like him. His massive hands grab my chin, and make me look at him as he awaits his answer.

"Yeah just go easy I'm still virgin." I say with a red blush starting to dust my cheeks. Soap then kissed my cheek with lust. He was about to say something when the door opened. Graves took one look and was terrified.

"This girl is ours." Ghost said slamming the door in Graves face then turns to look back at us. He walks over to me once more and gently caresses my cheek.

"Where were we? Oh right you said you're virgin, well, we'll have have changed that now won't we." Ghost says his protective ness slowly turning to lust.

"Eh, no promises we'll be easy either." Soap says with most unholy look on his face ever, as he kisses me once more. Ghost then grabs my thigh rubbing it gently. This going to be a fun night for all of us.

seven summers

It was a night like this one, and I can still see his red eyes. He always talked about forever. He wanted a big house in the southern part of Japan. Now thinking back on those memories they were so many summers ago. We used to sit by this same river, and fish for more than just food. He had gave me his shoes one day because mine had gotten wet, and now I still keep them in my room. I used to think my last name would be Kamado, but now I want someone whose last name starts with H. I hear footsteps behind me thinking about how proud Giyuu is of Tanjiro, and how disappointed my parents are of me. I still drink with the guy who got me through a liver that cheated on me. he sleeps in my bed, and comforts me when I cry. This drinking buddy is now tye fatger if my sons. Me and that guy I liked said we'd be forever, and now I see we could never be together. Now I sit at the same river with Inosuke, but it fills so much better. My head is on his shoulder with two little bits in our lap, and a third in Inosuke's arms. Now I regret that boy I dated seven summers ago.
